Made some redraw versions of Valentino’s Door Greeters and Fizz-Bot Kitty for my Valentino! Changed the moth gals into bees to help connect them closer to Val posing as a day poillinator(Though I do def see him have Moth Gals at the night scene) and made Kitty more like a Playboy Bunny 🍯🐝👯‍♀️🍸 I imagine the Bee girls are named “Honey & Bea” and Kitty’s now something like “bunny” or “Bon Bon”.

Fun fact, Playboy was pretty popular in the 70’s!!!!!!!👯‍♀️👯‍♂️👯

In my scenario, I imagine it’s Val helping to keep Vox from blowing his top and trying to start an immediate fight with Al after realizing he was back.

This was supposed to be for Wish's anniversary but I'm a little late for a few days as you can see XD

A meeting between them (canon Asha and my AU!Asha, Zahra) would be quite interesting to think about.

The angels not knowing the rules for who gets into heaven makes zero fucking sense when the 10 commandments are right there.

You could even use it to point out how corrupt Heaven is. For example, perhaps Sir Pentious is not accepted into heaven despite him genuinely redeeming himself because "sorry dude you didn't honor your parents lmao" or some shit like that.

Meanwhile, a more vile person (let's use Val as an easy example) could be on their deathbed. They make a last minute conversion and as a result they're accepted into heaven since they technically kept all of the commandments.

Having Angel withdrawal again sorry guys :/ its time for some uhh… prologue stuff?? I think thats right. Anyway! As I mentioned in this lovely post, when sinners die the time it takes for them to wake up in hell and where they wake up depends on how they died. So for Angels case his body was formed in hell in a hospital bed cause thats where he died so theres like fibres and metal in his body from being formed around a hospital bed! This is also going to go into how regenerating and how injuries work so get ready! Basically whatever your body was originally formed and made out of regenerates eventually, you can have scars if theyre really big (uncommon since the injury usually kills you) but if you die again in hell they go away. Angel gets injured quite a lot and none of these injuries are permanent. That isn’t to say you can heal by killing yourself though! If you do die while injured there may actually be lasting complications since bodies in hell are typically made to regenerate while gravely wounded. Its kind of like a fucked up computer so if you have a broken leg and die by say snapping your neck the body may get confused and regenerate bones and such incorrectly. Or it may not! Its hell who knows! Ill likely figure out a more concrete plan and way that it works but at the moment I enjoy this aspect of hell to not have a random cheat code and instead include some body horror. Its hell so like some stuff is probably confusing right??

Back to Angel, later on around season 1 in the rewrite he also has throat surgery to remove his deformed inner fangs and those DO actually stay gone because certain hospitals in hell (usually expensive ones) have tools from sloth that have been permitted by Lucifer. Similar to how Stolas got that lust portal gem or whatever. Angels body wasn’t supposed to form like that and this is a common thing to happen with sinners that die “long-term” and that sounds confusing but it really just means sinners that die in comatose-esque ways like Angel. His body was dying over the course of months (December to March to be exact) so parts of his body formed over complicated or were underdeveloped like the aforementioned fangs (that were originally meant to form inside of his mouth and not his throat) that would randomly bare themselves and stab his own throat, paralyzing Angel temporarily. Other examples would be parts of his legs and smaller stomach.

This is the surgery Angel got by the way (expenses covered by Velvette but thats a whole other plot line)

On top of this I also wanted to draw Angel’s old markings (at least one of them). Prior to Valentino, Angel looked much similar marking-wise to his original comic designs where he was more purple and yellow with all the fun skulls and stripes. Though, with how contracts work in my rewrite, Angel loses the markings and they change into hearts after his contract and cannot return to normal after his contract is terminated. The same is true for Husker and Niffty. This whole piece is really just supposed to capture to horror of waking up after being comatose and you’re suddenly not yourself anymore and also not where you were for the past months and your entire anatomy is changed. Can you imagine waking up without bones??? In 1947??? Id have a breakdown personally!

I also wanted to use green for that sick gross feeling. Kind of the dread you feel before throwing up, but also to represent Angel’s later feelings of envy that I was unable to present in his design. I really like pink characters in green atmospheres if you can’t tell. If I think of more stuff to add to this post I will, but for now it’s just a lot of lore. Hopefully you all enjoy it!

Mainly for fun cuz I really like making character designs, so what better way than making self-indulgent tweaks of the designs from one of my favorite show.

There's some glimpses of my older redesigns on here, cuz I got back into Hazbin in like, November but just never posted anything out of fear of.. adult accounts. But now I'm saying fuck it we ball and posting anyways cuz bro I do NOT wanna go radio silent again, PLEASE-

So, funny thing! My sister and I watched Wish about two weeks ago and in that time she rewrote it as a novel, but better!

We both saw a lot of fairy tale potential in Wish which was unfortunately wasted by the hand of Disney's corporate meddling. My sister, who's written several novels at this point, tried her hand at fleshing out the fairy tale and the characters and she did such a good job!

The first two chapters are up on AO3, with more to come soon!

So let’s get through and I’ll explain some of my concepts!

Cherri

Once again just trying to get a better grasp on her design. I don’t have anything to say here that I haven’t already said on another post.

Velvette

Deciding what colors and look I want to give her. Keeping the fashion doll idea, I wanted this to be as close to “naturally her” as Vel gets, as this look is mostly her at home with the Vees. The swirl cheeks kinda just came naturally to me, and matched her hair. I don’t have much to say for her here, as I have an entire doodle page dedicated to figuring her out coming up.

Tom

Nothing too exciting, just double checking that I like his design, and I do! So this is most likely the last time I’ll draw him for now.

Vox

Vox’s design is already really good to me, I mostly just changed his colors and removed his stupid bow tie. His suit is closer to what people wore in the 1920s, because he’s lowkey copying Alastor, but do not mention that he will violently deny it. Added gold to show his greed focus, and the blues and teals add to the vibes of jealousy and envy he feels.

Valentino

I think for what he is in the show, Valentino’s design is perfect. He does look like a 1970s pimp moth. I literally just changed his hat and adjusted his colors, and that’s it. That being said, upon closer examination, the hazbin timeline is shit, so Val’s death and time period are both being pushed further back. As such, his design may change drastically. I really can’t promise anything, unfortunately.

Rosie

Rosie my beloved! For her, I wanted to focus on making her silloutte more 1800s in style of dress. I gave her a bustle, and tried to give her more pretty colors. I added some orange to allude to her gluttony. As for the lines on her face, well… Our darling Rosie is a rose. I was inspired by Cult of the Lamb’s The One Who Waits to give her a face that peels open to reveal a second face underneath.

Here’s a hot take I guess

The “Vees” should just be Velvette and Vox. Think about it, TV and Social Media go hand in hand in terms of a lot of things, there’s way more consistency between those themes than there is with TV, Social media AND the porn industry.

At the same time, there’s a lot differences between them, and it would’ve been interesting to see how Vox and Velvette’s ideals and influences contrasted each other.

Maybe Vox had a hard time getting newer sinners under his control and Velvette, being from the generation of social media could’ve showed him new ways to branch out his influence and in turn Vox could’ve elevated her status, eventually leading her to becoming an overlord in her own right.

Idk, feel like a lot of interesting stuff could’ve been done with these two, alas

ITS FINALLY DONE! I FINISHED MY TEASER POSTER, AAAAAAA!!!!!

It took me several weeks to create, but its finally done! One day when I get a digital writing tablet, I'll remake it with backgrounds. Funny enough, @jojo-ker06 and I ended up having a similar poster idea! 😆 I wanted to do a poster that sort of teased what's to come in the story, much like the classic Disney teasers. Even here, Star has to be a goofball. 😂😂

This is also a thank you to all the friends I've made in this awesome fandom! I've been so inspired by everyone and love reading so many AUs, I'm so grateful to be a part of it!

Also, once the story is done, I'll create another one that features more of the characters and fully captures all the Disney magic! Hope y'all like it! ✨

The Vee’s have the best designs, especially Val. I’m sorry, Val perfectly encapsulates a 70s pimp moth so all I did was adjust colors.

Tom is a roach because roaches can supposedly survive radiation.

Rosie is an actual Rose demon, who’s face can split open for a creepier one underneath, such as the fun times from fnaf or The One Who Waits from Cult of the Lamb.

Was looking at the helluva boss pride art again and im just genuinely so upset about verosika, I know vivzie really likes using bi and pan people as a get out of jail free card so she can just ship them with whoever she feels like, but im mostly disappointed because I was ORIGINALLY impressed because I thought she was holding one of the intersex flags (the pink and blue one I think, I dunno much about the flag but yknow) and then I realised its just the pan flag as highlights in her hair and viv is just like borderline fetishising bi/pan stuff again.

It would’ve been really interesting to have an intersex character in literally any capacity. Idk TMI I guess but as a sex worker who doesn’t really have “regular equipment” it got me excited and then I remembered that vivzie would never include an intersex character or anything more “convoluted” than like the most basic well known sexualities and then like 1 trans side character. Genuinely I don’t think we are ever going to get a main character that has a gender that doesn’t get put into a binary definition. I talk about him so often but literally I think Angel is the closest thing we are ever getting to a main character that has a different sense of gender. If we get a random nonbinary character, awesome! But even then I can’t find the hope in my heart to say it’ll even be portrayed correctly. Viv would have a fucking heart attack if she saw all my labels and genders and flags I have

Im not kidding if a hazbin or helluva character ever had a xenogender of any kind I will actually eat my fucking pants. Till then heres all my fucking redesigns and their flags (btw like half of these characters have NO idea what a xenogender is, its just like if they did theyd be like “oh yeah I feel like that too”)
