Who did your father kill?

Dave asked me this once. He did. And I answered real, real quiet, "Mama". He didn't hear me, and I said it again and again, and once he finally heard me, I was cryin'. I don't know why I was cryin', but I was, and Dave said "it's okay", but it wasn't.

do you miss your parents?

I do. My mama most, of course, but sometimes, my father too. I don't remember much of either of 'em, but ya still miss 'em. Y'know? It's a kinda achy feelin' in your chest, and then it just...
