I am once again begging the SW fandom to make it well known and widespread that Rex and Omega are blond bc Temuera Morrison had a naturally blond older sister who has since passed

please stop making and reblogging the blond jokes at least without EXPLAINING that to people, this is one of the most touching and personal additions to the canon I know of and I feel like half the people I follow don't know this and there's no way TO know it beyond being told

and yeah IM PART OF THE PROBLEM bc I just sit on my hands and don't bring it up bc I don't want to be rude but pls, its not Filoni being weird and racist, it was to honor a Māori activist and to tie Temuera unequivocally to the clones even if they did cast a new dude to play the voices

still workshopping some of these a bit, but here's the current mando'a name chart for the CCs (plus rex!)

green words are ones I took directly from the mando'a dictionary, yellow words are technically non-canon but are basically real words, orange are words I made up that could probably be real words, and red ones are the ones I just mashed words together and they don't always make the most sense

I'm taking constructive criticism on some of these names! If you have a better mando'a name for a character (esp. one w a red name) I'd be happy to hear it!

Sometimes, unforseen but important matters came up and one ended up being asked to look for another's Padawan. With the entire Order being connected and built as a large support system, such flexibility was both encouraged and demanded from Jedi Knights and Masters alike, and Obi-Wan relished in it, excited to get to know the Order's future defenders during his rare breaks from fighting the war.

How relieved had he been, when back then a fellow Jedi could spontaneously look after Anakin for him, when he was sent away due to emergencies and taking young Anakin along had not always been possible or because Anakin had an important exam coming up? Without the support of the others, Obi-Wan would have surely crumbled under the pressure of guiding and training his former Padawan.

And like Anakin, Cal was special in a way other Jedi were not. Thanks to his friendship with Quinlan, Obi-Wan knew quite a lot about psychometry firsthand, which surely was a reason why Master Tapal trusted him with Cal. The war spread them all very thin, and hopefully Master Tapal's mind was free to focus on what's important, knowing Cal was safe and well taken care of until he returned.

Obi-Wan decided to start their day with a calming cup of tea. "Don't tell anyone, but I'm very proud of my tea collection." He placed a box of an assortment of teas from all over the galaxy on the dining table and smiled encouragingly. "Which one would you like to try first?"

Her smile was lovely, her laughter even more so. Laughter had become far too rare in these dire times. War sucked joy out of people like a black hole and it was just as difficult to vanquish. Those who didn't lose their lives, lost their zest for it.

He mirrored the smile at her compliment and encouragement. With the bacta spread sufficiently, he took the roll of bandages and began to wrap it around Marie's arm. "Thank you, miss Marie. So much time passed and I possibly changed. Perhaps I could try again indeed? Under your guidance. When this war is won."

Not if. When. Failure was not an option. "What about you? Have you always known that this is what you want to do?" Marie appeared nurturing and rejuvinating in the Force. A very calming, inviting aura. One didn't need to be Force-sensitive to see that she exuded safety.

There's a curiosity to emerald gaze as she watches him, moving her own hand away from the cut to her arm to grant him further access. It's unexpected, but in truth appreciated, the faintest smile revealing itself on her features at the gesture.

His tale easily catches her attention, a brow quirking up before a light laughter escapes her, brows furrowing after. "Really? You're doing just fine so far - I would have encouraged you to learn more, personally." A pause, observing his hands for a moment. "You have a gentle touch like a healer; ever tried revisiting that dream, General?"
