I had a dream we saw the first teaser trailer for the Mandalorian & Grogu movie!! It was grainy, leaked footage (the fact even my brain knows that will probably be how we see it first is hilarious).

Frog lady was on a surfboard(?) in somewhere that looked like the Mines of Mandalore with a bunch of bright red tadpoles swimming around her.

There was a lot of action and fighting, Din was taking down everyone in sight anD THE BESKAR SPEAR WAS BACK!!!!! At one point Grogu did a flip from behind him and took out an enemy too? It was epic.

I think I also remember there being a snow covered mountain of some kind?? Lots of aerial shots and pretty landscape. Not sure what that was about. I couldn't get much from the plot but if Frog Lady shows up in the Mando movie now... I manifested this...

relationships and weight gain

I have been in a relationship for ten months, marking the first romantic involvement of my life. Throughout my existence, or at least for as long as I can remember, my appearance has been the bane of my existence . If I did not perceive myself as attractive or if I was not skinny, I deemed myself "not good enough." This mindset has proven to be utterly exhausting, and I am fully aware of it.

However, since entering this relationship, I have let go my concerns regarding my appearance. I have largely ceased to care about my looks and weight. While some may view this as a positive development, a sign of a healthy relationship characterized by a release from the obsessive control over one’s appearance, I find it troubling. I harbor a deep dissatisfaction with my appearance and body, and I struggle with the fact that my boyfriend continues to love me despite my own negative self-perception. At times, I wish he would make comments that would compel me to take my appearance “situation” more seriously.

Fortunately, and perhaps unfortunately, he is the kindest and most compassionate man I have ever encountered, making it highly unlikely that he would ever utter anything so hurtful. Nevertheless, I recognize the need to implement changes in my diet and self-care routine; I cannot afford to lose control so easily in what is still a relatively short-term relationship. What will become of me if we reach the two-year mark? How will I look then? What will happen after experiencing two pregnancies? How did my situation deteriorate so rapidly?

I understand that happiness can sometimes lead to slight weight gain, but I always believed I would be the exception. I never imagined I would become "that girl." In my youth, I often judged my mother for letting herself go at a young age; I never thought I would follow a similar path. Yet, it seems I am indeed my mother's child.

Man obviously there’s a bunch of really unfortunate consequences to Elon’s mishandling of twitter but the thing that really got to me after a while was how lonely it feels to use the platform now. I only follow my friends and a couple of artists yet my whole dash is filled with total strangers and blue checkmarks trying to farm engagement. There’s an unblockable ad every three tweets (two if you’re counting the bots trying sell me something). There’s no lingering on interesting videos cause they all autoscroll tiktok style (with ads every 3 vids). Following someone means zilch so if I wanna see what the friends I use the platform for have been up to I have to manually go to their accounts & half the time the first tweet I see is an announcement that they’re leaving. It’s such a dead mining town of a website, but instead of dying because the mines just naturally dried out and people left for greener pastures, it’s dying because the newly appointed nepobaby Sheriff got really into building a 7-story mall in the middle of the desert without ever stopping to think what it’d do to the local economy and wildlife, or even if anyone needed an apple store and three taco bells in the middle of the outback.
