I cannot begin to explain the existential crisis I had during THAT scene in Barbie…I could go on and on about how going from girlhood to womanhood makes you fear that you will never experience the same joy you once did as a kid and is replaced by the self-conscious thoughts and feelings of never being enough.

Also, I smiled and laughed so damn hard and felt a little empowered when Barbie told the older lady she was beautiful and the lady responded with, “I know I am.”

THAT is the attitude I’m going to have. :)

I just got a really upsetting hate anon that I reported, but like... wtf???

What makes anyone think they can go onto someone's blog and just say that? Like truly, I need to know what went on in this man's (I'm assuming bc no woman would say this) brain, to think he had the right to say that.

A message to the anon if he sees this: I really, really hope that you know how awful of a person you are. To go onto a teenage girl's blog and tell her that you will control her body is such a sick, twisted thing to do. You are a coward for hiding your identity, Please, for the love of god, get some help.
