no worries! i still appreciate likes as long as they're from blogs that i can tell are real ppl :) when they're completely blank with the default pfp and don't have a title or any other info, they look like bots, and if too many bots follow you it may cause your blog to get suspended, which is one reason why so many authors will block you if you look like that because we don't want our blogs to get taken down. there's a lot of other reasons that having a blank blog is bad, but you are definitely allowed to like posts if you want! just make it clear that you're a real person by customizing your blog a little (put a profile picture, add your age, reblog a couple posts). it goes a long way for everyone in the community and prevents you from getting blocked on accident :)
