Heyy puki whats your opinion on the CEO of
UnitedHealthcare getting shot?
I saw this news channel talking about it, and this fucking guy kept saying how 'scary' it was that this happened. He must've said 'scary' like six times in under a minute.
Scary for who?? I'm not scared. I feel like if you're not a morally-repugnant billionaire who directly adversely affected the lives of millions, it should feel like any other fucking Tuesday to you.

Took him to the hospital but still died. Guess they couldn't get prior authorization approval to save his life.

This Luigi business has, I think, really exposed something we all knew about in the US justice system, but has for so long been pretended to not exist by all of this country's communication and media controllers.
Despite the fact that we are all meant to be private citizens, all held within equal respect by and to the law, there are some very different classes of people as far as courts are concerned.
If Luigi Mangione had shot some middle class, pencil pushing office schlub or retail salesman, there'd have been a however temporary stink made about on the television. And if they ever did catch him, he'd be dragged through the courts, and maybe become the center of a "shame on you" piece on the 6 o'clock news. But in all likelihood they never would have bothered to catch him. They'd say "we're doing our best" and they'd forget about it. No manhunt, no media circus, no $60,000 bounty put on his head by the FBI.
If Luigi Mangione had shot, say, a black man, nothing would have happened at all. It's unlikely we would even have any inkling of it.
But Luigi Mangione didn't kill someone from the lower class, he didn't even kill someone from the middle class. He killed Bryan Thompson, CEO of UnitedHealthcare, a Fortune 500 company. He killed a nobleman. And that means he's to be dragged into court surrounded by a small army of guards, charged with crimes wholly unrelated to whatever he's allegedly done, and before all of that, made the subject of a national manhunt.
If nothing else, it's become abundantly clear just who the courts consider to be worth their time.

Luigi pre-trial main points
(Source BBC)
- Luigi Mangione has appeared at a New York City courthouse, charged with the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson
- He (Luigi) arrived shackled and wearing a bulletproof vest, with at least six security guards surrounding him
- Kicking off proceedings, Mangione's lawyer said he has been a "model prisoner" and asked for his shackles to be removed, to which the judge refused
- Mangione's supporters are both inside and outside the courtroom, and shouts could be heard throughout proceedings
- It's the first time Mangione has appeared in court since December, when he pleaded not guilty to murder and terrorism charges
- Prosecutors allege Mangione shot Thompson, a father of two, outside a hotel in Manhattan before going on the run. He was arrested five days later while eating at a McDonald's in Pennsylvania
- The killing of Thompson, who led a major health insurance company, caused anger among many Americans against the trillion-dollar industry

Footage of United Health CEO Brian Thompson being assassinated has been released. Clearly a hit job.
Shooter is a pro using a suppressed weapon.
Brian Thompson was set to testify before Congress over United healthcare's hacks as well as their business practices.
I don't know if anyone else knows about the assassination of Brian Thompson, if NOT there's more to this story.
Piglosi did some heavy investing in stocks involving hundreds of thousands of dollars.

These are the people that steal elections for their love of money. 🤔

Some legal experts contend prosecutors in New York overreached by charging Mangione with terrorism in the indictment. One criminal defense attorney, Stacy Schneider, told CNN’s Jake Tapper on Tuesday prosecutors might face more challenges proving that argument in court. “This victim was shot in the back of the head, not the front of the head, on a quiet sidewalk, early in the morning, in the dark. It doesn’t appear from a defense attorney’s perspective that this was intended to be a terroristic type of murder,” Schneider said. Mangione’s defense team, according to Schneider, could move to dismiss the top count of murder against him, arguing the reactions following the killing were “unintended consequences.” “The murder happened first, the outcry was second and totally unpredictable,” Schneider said. “So, I think this might be a case of overreaching on murder one.” Including terrorism in the indictment – making Mangione eligible for life imprisonment – may be part of a broader strategy by the district attorney, according to former federal prosecutor Jessica Roth. “By including that, the district attorney is setting up the conditions for a plea to a lesser charge where he has the possibility of, at some point, getting out of prison,” Roth said Tuesday on Anderson Cooper 360. “If there isn’t a plea, it’s also setting up the condition for a jury compromise on that lesser charge,” Roth added. The two-pronged prosecution is a strategy [Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg] employed unsuccessfully in another high-profile case this year. Daniel Penny was charged with both second-degree manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide in the death of Jordan Neely, who Penny restrained with a chokehold, later saying he felt threatened by Neely’s erratic behavior on the New York subway. The jury was instructed to consider the two charges separately, beginning with the more serious charge. Ultimately, they deadlocked on the manslaughter count and the judge dismissed the charge at the request of prosecutors, allowing them to consider the criminally negligent homicide charge. The jury then found Penny not guilty of the lesser charge. [...] Throwing the book at Mangione risks backlash from the public, which in some corners has treated the murder suspect as a folk hero, said criminal defense attorney Jeremy Saland, who is not representing Mangione. “If you kill a police officer, that’s one thing. If you kill a witness to a crime, that’s something else, too, that would rise to this first-degree homicide or murder,” Saland told CNN’s John Berman. “If I’m someone whose brother or sister or sibling was murdered on the street, why should a CEO’s murder be treated differently than my loved one?”

Gunman Who Shot Brian Thompson “…used ammunition emblazoned with the words ‘deny,’ ‘defend’ and ‘depose’”
Published 12/5/2024.
“The message left on the ammunition echoes the phrase ‘delay, deny, defend,’ which is commonly used by attorneys and insurance industry critics to describe tactics used to avoid paying claims. It refers to insurers delaying payment, denying a claim and then defending their actions. Health insurers like UnitedHealthcare have become frequent targets of criticism from doctors and patients for complicating access to care” (Balsam et. al.).
BCBS Halts Anaesthesia Payment Policy After Backlash
Published 12/5/2024.
“Initially, the policy update went unnoticed, but that changed Wednesday after UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was shot killed in New York City. The killing sparked a wave of online vitriol about the U.S. health care system, and Anthem BCBS’s decision roared into the conversation.
A spokesperson for Anthem BCBS said in a statement: ‘There has been significant widespread misinformation about an update to our anesthesia policy. As a result, we have decided to not proceed with this policy change’” (Fattah and Miller).

Sacrificial Violence and Retribution
https://crimethinc.com/sacrificialviolence
Just about every day, more than fifty people are shot and killed in the United States. On December 4, 2024, one of them was Brian Thompson, the CEO of UnitedHealthcare, the most profitable health insurance corporation in the country. In the weeks since, we’ve all heard a great deal more about that particular CEO than about any of the hundreds of other people shot and killed this month. At the same time, there has been an outpouring of support for the attack, despite the efforts of media platforms and employers to suppress it.
On December 13, president-elect Donald Trump and vice-president-elect JD Vance invited Daniel Penny to join them at the Army/Navy football game—solely on account of his having randomly murdered a Black person and been acquitted. Here, we see some of the most powerful political figures in the world attempting to drum up enthusiasm for extrajudicial killings—provided that they target the marginalized.
But this is not just a question of violence aimed down the social hierarchy versus violence aimed up it. We are talking about two entirely different kinds of violence.
Let’s call them sacrificial violence and retribution.
