TD x Kingdom Hearts: MAJOR update!

First post with spoilers: New character edits, form changes, WIPs of KH-style drawings, and… SPOILER ALERT: The Final 3 of this story

Back with another major update, everyone! And what perfect timing since today the KH series turns 23 years old! For this update, I thought I’d share with you all some new things I’ve done or I’m doing for this crossover.

Before we begin, this is the first time ever that I should let you all know that this post contains spoilers for this story. While it has not been entirely written yet, it contains elements from the second half of it all the way to the ending, that’s why the post is marked as spoilers. I’ll try to hide them in the description too.

With that being said, let’s begin:

First up, I’m adding four more Keyblade Wielders to Sora’s party options! Only two of them have been completed so far: Alejandro and Duncan. Obviously these two villains at first will not like Sora one bit, especially Alejandro, but they’ll warm up to him eventually to the point where they join his party after obtaining their Keyblades.

- Alejandro’s Keyblade: Toro’s Fury (based on one of the Foretellers’ Keyblades, specifically Aced’s. His outfit is based on a combination between Terra and KH3 Riku)

- Duncan’s Keyblade: Delinquent’s Passion (Base being his lighter from TDI, and his outfit is inspired by Young Xehanort from Union X)

The last two Wielders in line for this story are officially Leshawna and Brick. Expect them soon.😊

Now, time for spoilers:

🚨SPOILERS AHEAD🚨

The final 3 for this story are Sora, Bridgette, and Mike. Sora and Mike are obvious choices when you remember that one is the MC of KH and the other plays a major role in the original version of AS but if you’re wondering why I chose Bridgette for the F3, it’s not because she’s one of my favorite characters, but I honestly think she has been done super dirty in TD post-Island. I mean, getting the first boot along with Geoff in TDA and then getting her tongue stuck to a pole in WT are not ideal for her. In this story, she’ll stand out a lot more and be one of Sora’s most courageous and strongest Keyblade pupils, so much so that people like Alejandro, Heather and Duncan no longer underestimate her (Alejandro even says that he regrets calling her expendable in World Tour) and Geoff couldn’t be prouder of her🥹 Sora and her develop an amazing friendship too! And more so, she’s named one of the main leaders of the rest of the TD wielders after her and Geoff deal with Blaineley on the Aftermath. From pole kisser to brave Keyblade leader, a true All-Star.

Therefore, to signify their F3 status, I’ve given each of them an iconic KH Crown based on their final placements: Sora wins so he gets gold (Proof of Victory), Mike is the runner-up so he gets silver (Proof of Bravery), and Bridge is third so she gets copper (Proof of Resilience). Each of the crowns is given to them by their Keyblades as a reward for their performance in the game, Proofs of effort if you will.

Finally, I’m introducing Form Changes! To signify their connection to Sora’s Heart and as an additional perk of their placements, Mike and Bridgette are given a special edition of their Keyblades’ keychains, giving them a look akin to KH3’s Ultima Weapon (this will only be triggered if Sora has said Keyblade crafted in his equipment). This Keychain gives them access to their own versions of the Ultimate Form! Their outfits get similar colors to that of Sora’s own Ultimate Form and Bridgette even gains a hoodie that combines aspects of her original surfer hoodie with Sora’s KH3 hoodie! Their Ultimate Form weapons are not ready yet though, but I wanted to at least show you the designs of their outfits and how their Keyblades look before accessing them. These two aren’t the only ones to get form changes though. In contrast to them, two TD Wielders acquire a form based on the remaining darkness in their hearts. Courtney’s anger and frustration towards her past while fighting gives way for her to enter her Rage Form (First seen in KH3), where no light comes out of her and with each charge, her power grows but her heart grows bitter. Heather, on the other hand, has another perk due to her remaining darkness besides the coat around her. Part of her heart still desires power and while she fights, sometimes that darkness and desire overwhelms her and she enters her Anti Form (first seen in KH2) where she uses no Keyblade and acts like a Shadow Heartless.

And… that wraps up this update! Sorry for making you read all the way here and for the surprise spoiler alert, but the thing is… I began writing this story! Yeah, besides the drawings and edits, I’m putting the story into written words so that it can complement the visual part! It’s not due for publishing anytime soon, but stay tuned!

A doodle I did of my idea for an ultimate form for Four Arms

He has extra legs for speed and to give him a more sturdy stance. I also gave him frog like fingers for extra grip strength.

My thought was that since Four Arms looked like Goro from Mortal Kombat in ultimate alien his ultimate form could look like a different boss from that series, Motaro. The extra legs also allows him the obvious conclusion of one of Four Arm’s design, extra limbs, without just giving him more arms and ruining the name.

For this goddess form we have Rosie reach her full potential: Squishy Stromboli! Rosie's body gets so hot that her hair turn into fire while her whole body "melts" and becomes much more liquid and pliable like a slime, she can deliver flaming hits, assume any kind of form without any physical limit and she gets also totally immune to anything harmful like weapons and explosions

I was honestly expecting House and Wilson to have undertones in the traditional accidental queerbaiting format of having the mc’s bond with a male rival/coworker/traveling companion feel more important bc the writers don’t care enough about the female characters to focus or make them interesting.

But no, Wilson is literally just written like he’s House’s wife or fiancee. Like from a standpoint of narrative significance. He doesn’t actually work with them, he’s the only one who actively chooses to be around house and seems to think there’s some good in him from the very beginning. He pretty much is House’s personal life. He doesn’t even have that much screen time and seems to exist mostly to demonstrate that House is in fact capable of love. Like that’s…. That’s literally how female love interests are written…
