Merlin, in the modern era, hand out, standing over a man who is begging for his life as Merlin's magic ghosts over his windpipe, not closing it yet but enough to be felt, enough to know that the end is coming for him.
Lancelot who had only just returned with the rest of them, watching the interaction, for the first time in his life actually scared of Merlin and his magic, pleading with the man as he grabs his wrist: Merlin, this isn't you. I know you and this isn't what you do.
Merlin sparing a singular glance at the man he used to love, the man that dies for him, hard lines in his face getting more pronounced, his eyes lighting with fire both figuratively and metaphorically: You thought you knew someone 1500 years ago. You caught a glimpse at the idea of me in my youth and you think you know me, now? After so long? You don't. That person, that image of me, is gone and he's never coming back.
Lancelot watching the man fight for breath with the tightening of Merlin's magic, scratching and clawing at his bare neck to get any air whatsoever, before returning his gaze to his love, desperate for Merlin to see the good in himself once more: No. No he's not. I'm staring right at him.
Merlin not even hesitating before closing his fist quite completely, the man struggling for a second more before dropping to the ground, dead: All you're staring at is the corpse of someone long since dead

#tag talk#HE JUST ADMITTED TO ME HE FELT KIND OF SUBBY YESTERDAY. THERE'S HOPE#my top era starts NOW#I will put on all my seductive charm and woo this dude so hard#it's happening it's happening the future is now#tbh I think they've got a bit of a misunderstanding about what dom/sub really mean but as long as the intent is communicated it's chill#I'm just happy in general about it. we had really really really good conversation and both had a great time.#I would have been more confident if I'd had a better idea of who they were ahead of time but I'm gonna be so so confident on the second date#I said something about being friends and they were like “wait I'm friendzoned now?” and I kinda had to backtrack to explain#because like.. I don't wanna date someone I'm not friends with. why would I want to?#I guess some people see friendship and Relationship as mutually exclusive but I prefer a sliding scale of both.#cause at first I was like I'm really not interested in him but he's cool so I wanna be friends. but then as I started to get a vibe read#it changed and I was like oh okay so I don't want the kind of relationship I thought I was walking in to but I can see a different kind of#kind of relationship happening here. hmmm. I have thoughts about how dating/hookup apps encourage us to predefine our identities#whereas meeting in person allows vibes to develop organically. if you decide “I'm only a bottom” you'll automatically filter out any#any potential for experiencing someone who might be the exception to your rules. you define yourself and then limit too.#one of the reasons why I hate character limits on bios and I try and keep my interests as open as possible. I want to experience everything#I don't want to limit myself to just one dynamic or relationship type. I can be anything for anyone. I want to taste it all.#how else do you find what you want? I get that some people know instinctively who they are and what they want.#but not all of us have that privilege. some of us are blind to our internal workings and need to see it play out to really know what's up#idk. I'm pretty hyped for where this relationship goes. the first meeting went SO well.

Gregg is very strong and muscular, but in the way people are when they have physical jobs or hobbies, not in the gymbro way. which means he surprises people with his strength all the time, especially the gymbro types. he has experience balancing heavy weight over medium/long distances without damaging his joints. he has that practical applied strength vs. glamour muscles and dehydration.
Gregg doesn't care about that kind of thing at all, but the other dudes get VERY insecure about it. this provides me with no end of entertainment.

date back on for sunday now. His friend is okay. thank god. And uhhh, yea now we're finally be fr about the "hey we met on a dating, lets be so fr about what our experience has been" uncharted territory besties. we're not at "so what are you looking for?" but i already essentially told him my approach is to just really try getting to know ppl i find interesting and letting a spark develop from there w/o pressure. kinda like in school where you consistently see people in casual settings. and he thought it was a good plan so uh. here we are.
#basically he's had no luck and only like 2 matches (excluding me i believe) and all those people just never responded to him#which must be so funny bc now theres like. me. where i have seen his id. know his govt name. address. dob. and vitals. like. crazy.#and he's seen mine too ofc. equality. and uh. sounds like he's never dated. never had any bug feelings for anyone despite wanting to fall i#love so bad. which is... interesting. i feel like he has liked ppl and not recognized that it's a crush. nit just wanting to be friends but#imma hold off on sharing that until further developments.#i basically told him that I've had a very different experience. not to like brag but like most women will have better luck on apps (also hi#profile kinda sucks. all 4 photos look like a different person. his like actual answers to prompts aren't bad. they're good. thats what mad#me think 'oh i think i could rlly get along w/ this dude' but he'd attract a very niche type of woman)#which i also. didn't fully say. bc time and place. it'll come up but not right now. but yea so i told him that like. ive gotten many matche#but a lotttt of it is super low quality. lot of wasted time. so like. yea. we all have a bad time on dating apps till someone sticks and we#dont. we basically have both admitted to having idealized people in the past and getting the ick irl. and yea. building some good common#ground. ive always wanted to ask to ppl ive gone out w/ what their experience looks like but i feel like thats not smth to talk abt till#later on and I've never wanted anything past a 2nd date before so. yea.#although my first date did tell me but she was poly and like much more open to talking abt that than most monogamous ppl would be

So after fighting for months to include an ad banner in the game I've made I suddenly realised that for a first time project it was...not worth it at all? :'D
Long story short:
I published Bomb di fé on itch.io
Ad free
Tumblr media
It's a silly little text based game that I made to fiddle with phone input (like gyroscope and compass). I WAS going to publish it on google play but I made the mistake of submitting the ad version first, and now Google don't believe me when I try to say I removed ads from it TT even worse it won't let me delete the ad version I already submitted. So until I resolved that it's just available on itch.io
It's an android game, from what I tested it looks low-key ugly on tablet but still works :') small victories

How to Build a Podcast App Like Stitcher?
Tumblr media
You must have watched reels of many big influencers or celebrities giving their views in a podcast. Podcast apps are a huge trend today because of the high-quality material for the users and the way they are seasoned with silliness and fun. People prefer to listen to podcasts, and it takes much less time and effort. Unlike blog posts or videos, you can listen to podcasts even on the move. That’s why the development of podcast apps is growing rapidly.
In this article, we will go through various aspects of Podcast app development and understand how to develop a podcast app like Stitcher. Let’s begin with the basics.
What is a podcast app?
The podcast app has been derived from the amalgamation of two words: “iPod” and “broadcasts.” Today, podcasts are extremely popular in the form of audio entertainment and are making huge progress in downloadable radio shows.
Unlike traditional content production methods such as TV and radio shows, podcasts provide an easy approach for content providers to connect with an audience. They aren’t even now regulated; therefore, you don’t need a broadcasting license to create podcast content. A podcast app has all the features to create a podcast, and users can access the podcast on their mobile devices. Some of the popular podcast apps are Google Podcasts, Castro, DoggCatcher, etc.
What are the different types of podcast apps?
Tumblr media
You should first know the different types of podcast apps before jumping to partnering with any mobile app development company in USA. It is a massive business, and thus, many avenues are open to you for telling tales through sound. Here are the major types of Podcasts applications:
1. Interviews and panel discussions podcast apps
As the name indicates, these podcast apps are designed for conversational formats like interviews and roundtable discussions. Generally, there is an anchor who drives the conversation and interviews a single or multiple guests at once.
2. Repurposed content podcast apps
Podcasts offer content creators a simple way to engage with an audience, in contrast to more conventional content production techniques like radio and television programs. Since they aren’t even currently subject to regulations, producing podcast content doesn’t require a broadcasting license.
3. Storytelling podcast apps
These podcasts have a huge fan following who like to listen to stories or tales that motivate or inspire them. The podcasts for storytelling can be based on true or made-up events. These are interesting as they captivate and hold the audience for a very short duration. They are, nevertheless, a bit difficult to master.
Many journalists and the media public prefer to listen to these podcasts to get the inside scoop on various topics and breaking events. Both factual and fictitious stories may be shared using storytelling art.
4. Hybrid podcast apps
In the hybrid podcasts, the present or anchor is the same for the whole podcast. Every episode, though, features a fresh and fascinating guest.
These podcasts are frequently used to record discussions, such as panels or interviews. The host gives introductory remarks or monologues before conducting in-depth interviews with the featured guest of the evening in each episode.
Why develop a podcast app?
Tumblr media
The major reason people prefer podcasts is the way they deliver the content. Podcasts are easily accessible, and they provide the required information in a comparatively shorter format. Here are the major benefits of the podcast app:
1. Serves as a marketing channel
It is possible to advertise your company offerings or services through a podcast app. You can use the app to introduce your business and provide information about the features of the platform.
2. Build a community with minimal effort
Suppose you want to build a podcast app dedicated to a niche interest group. You should be aware that there is a central theme in a podcast that attracts a dedicated audience.
3. Win the audience’s loyalty
You can win over listeners if you have a consistently charismatic presenter. In this way, the audience may want more of a presenter in a particular style, tone, voice, etc. It is essential to keep an eye on the material if you want to develop a community for podcasters and earn their confidence.
4. Attract large audience
You can reach a wide audience with a podcast app. The reason is its accessibility. It is a savior for people who don’t have time to go through huge resources or comprehend visual material. In those cases, audio format is a great alternative.
If you are looking forward to monetizing on the trend and want to build a podcast application, then you can pick the best mobile application development team for you project and see the innovation and creativity on screen.

What are must-have features for Podcast mobile apps?
Tumblr media
After knowing the importance of a podcast application, you must be wondering what features you should implement to make it successful. Here are the major features that you must consider for podcast mobile app development:
1. Sign up and register
The users should be able to register and create an account on the mobile app. They can use an email ID/contact number or also a social media login.
2. User profile
There will be a profile dashboard for users on which they can see their playlists and listener data. In addition, users can submit their information and preferences to receive more tailored suggestions from the app.
3. Create and edit a podcast
It is an essential feature for those who work directly in audio production. If you want to reach this demographic with the podcast app, you have to provide users with the option to record and edit the audio.
4. Search
Search is an essential feature of any app. It is the first element by which users start interacting with your app. The users should be able to find their favorite artists or content creators on the app using the search function.
5. Media Player
Without a streaming media player, there won’t be any app that could play audio. Users will have no trouble skipping between songs if you activate this function.
6. Real-Time analytics
Real-time analytics help you evaluate critical app data and make better choices about the app’s future development.
