The ones I'd like to keep in my heart. Many of them are aren't cannon but I love them, some never got their happy ending but I hope that one day they meet each other again. Some of them got to have their endings and some didn't, some may be just friends and some just "colleagues" 😂, whatever they are, i know they love each and care about each other. They might as well burn the world for their lovers. In jujutsu kaisen they said that love is the greatest curse of them all and it may be for some. For me, it's as much as a blessing as it is a tragedy and I hope that something as pure as love doesn't get to be called a curse for the rest of us too. This post got even longer for no reason, midnight thoughts are really something dude 🤣🤣

In 2024 I’ve achieved so many things.. in 2023 I could barely talk to people, I was binge eating, my anxiety was so bad that I barely left the house which caused me to get depressed. Now I can use a card and go into stores without anyone with me, I can leave my house, talk to new people, I can catch public transportation sometimes ( still a bit anxious though ) I went to Australia and that helped my anxiety so much.. I am forever grateful for going there! I’ve had struggles this year but also so many good times and have meet lots of new lovely people all around the world and reconnecter with old friends! If it wasn’t for 2024 I wouldn’t even have my girlblog or tumblr and would have missed on meeting so many of you lovely dolls! I am now on antidepressants and I have decided to stop doing online school and go back to face to face school in 2025, I also feel so much connected to god and the universe! Anyway I just want to say thank you for 2024

Update via my MIL: the ajiaco soup is Colombian.

The grandparents are no longer with us, but an uncle and now a stepsister and BIL live in their house, and another sister makes the soup. Four pairs of kids and their partners, our kid (the only one), C's mom and stepdad, and said uncle, now gather. Stepdad is sick this year (nothing serious), so it was even one less than usual.

It's been 20 years of changes since I joined the family, and it's amazing to still be in the same house with the same food. They've kept some of the same art and furniture, too. They're my second found family. The first time I really met everyone and spent real time with them was a Christmas Eve dinner, and they all welcomed me in so warmly and with such acceptance. I haven't been back to the house since Grandma passed, and I felt a definite twinge thinking, This will be the first time I don't immediately run upstairs to hang out with Grandpa before I go down to see if Grandma will let me help her in the kitchen. Instead I ran upstairs to pet the cat and then went down to have a mug of Lambec with all my sisters.

I feel, and know I am, so lucky have a huge group of inlaws where we all have real love and like for each other.

I hope you all find that somewhere, too.
