this scene is extremely funny to me but also... getting a little /srs for a sec, i take a lot of issue with "so that she can go on with her life". like um... say sike rn... it would never be mark's responsibility to tell every person he knows whether or not he's in love with them 😭 i'd get it if he previously told her he was interested in her or had been stringing her along in any way, but these two have literally not talked about romance even once. eve ily but i'm afraid this is fully on you for not 1) telling him or 2) getting over it.

The ones I'd like to keep in my heart. Many of them are aren't cannon but I love them, some never got their happy ending but I hope that one day they meet each other again. Some of them got to have their endings and some didn't, some may be just friends and some just "colleagues" 😂, whatever they are, i know they love each and care about each other. They might as well burn the world for their lovers. In jujutsu kaisen they said that love is the greatest curse of them all and it may be for some. For me, it's as much as a blessing as it is a tragedy and I hope that something as pure as love doesn't get to be called a curse for the rest of us too. This post got even longer for no reason, midnight thoughts are really something dude 🤣🤣

Update via my MIL: the ajiaco soup is Colombian.

The grandparents are no longer with us, but an uncle and now a stepsister and BIL live in their house, and another sister makes the soup. Four pairs of kids and their partners, our kid (the only one), C's mom and stepdad, and said uncle, now gather. Stepdad is sick this year (nothing serious), so it was even one less than usual.

It's been 20 years of changes since I joined the family, and it's amazing to still be in the same house with the same food. They've kept some of the same art and furniture, too. They're my second found family. The first time I really met everyone and spent real time with them was a Christmas Eve dinner, and they all welcomed me in so warmly and with such acceptance. I haven't been back to the house since Grandma passed, and I felt a definite twinge thinking, This will be the first time I don't immediately run upstairs to hang out with Grandpa before I go down to see if Grandma will let me help her in the kitchen. Instead I ran upstairs to pet the cat and then went down to have a mug of Lambec with all my sisters.

I feel, and know I am, so lucky have a huge group of inlaws where we all have real love and like for each other.

I hope you all find that somewhere, too.
