⟡ despite being the same age difference as most of the others, Boötes seems older, and tends to act more like an older brother to Antares

⟡ Antares always wanted to be in the guard, he'd heard stories of their heroics from back during the war, and wanted to help protect others as well

⟡ Aurigae is a little bit more of a prankster than Stretch, and tends to get into trouble with the guard despite being a sentry himself

⟡ OS Sans (who still needs a nickname) is actually captain of the guard! He took on the role after their Alphys stepped down and (pretends to) take it very seriously!

⟡ Ara has his Grillby have a very will they won't they type of relationship that has most of the regular patrons making bets (both are aroace-spec and have no idea they give that vibe)

⟡ Pictoris is a very skilled embroiderer! It's not something he'd consider a hobby, since he mostly picked it up to customize his clothes to his liking, but he branches out more post pacifist and loves making all sorts of designs

⟡ Boötes doesn't float around like the other Sanses do, he prefers staying grounded for some reason...

⟡ Antares loves animals, but there aren't many in their sector, so whenever he scavenges and finds books or magazines or videos about them, he does his very best to preserve them

⟡ he may be the judge of his world, but Aurigae and their Toriel...don't really see eye to eye. They have a very tense relationship, though most don't pick up on it around them

⟡ OS Sans actually doesn't really enjoy cooking or baking, so he makes a lot of instant or pre-prepped stuff. His more original ventures...are not very good

⟡ Ara has...a particularly hard time visiting the labs. He still does, to help out Alphys from time to time, but given the option, he'd never set foot in there again

⟡ Pictoris will argue to his dying breath that his jokes aren't puns, they are incredibly witty word play, there's a difference! (<- pretends he doesn't have a sense of humor)

“Alright,” Buck smiles at Tommy’s Teacher Voice, “time to finish up. Bring your writing worksheets to the front if you haven’t already. Coloring worksheets can go in your backpacks to take home.” The kids move quickly then, weaving around Buck like he’s old news. Only one student approaches him, says 'who are you?' then quickly moves on, not waiting to hear his response. Buck looks up at Tommy only to see him watching in amusement. He makes his way to Tommy’s desk, joining him in leaning against it. “Is this how it always is?” “Crazier, actually. We wrapped up most of the actual work last week.” Buck nods and watches a student run up to them, his backpack swaying this way and that. “Mr. Kinard, are we doing reading quiz tomorrow?” “Yep,” Tommy says. “Is it- okay, is it chapter 6?” “Chapters 6 and 7,” he clarifies. “Your mom can check Google Classroom for you if you forget, okay Jeffrey?” Jeffrey nods, staring at Buck now that he’s had his question answered. “Hi,” Buck says. “Hi,” Jeffrey repeats, trotting away again. Tommy laughs. “They can be a little shy.” The two of them get the kids packed and lined up, walking them down to the library and saying goodbye to them for the day. They take their time on the walk to the auditorium, Tommy stopping to point out a few of the projects hung up around the school. There are glittery snowflakes hanging from the ceiling in one hallway, and in another, there’s a wall of painted handprints. “Which one’s yours?” Buck asks. Tommy presses his hand flat to a green one near the top. When he pulls away Buck fits his own hand there, noting the way the green still spills over the tops of his fingers and blushing when he spots Tommy watching and realizes what he’s just done.

🌻 for Edge?

🌻 (sunflower) - What’s something your character has grown out of? Did it happen gradually or was it a drastic change? What caused this shift?

When Edge was little, he was actually entirely nonverbal! I always like to imagine most Papyri are quiet when very young, and took a while before their first words, but few to the same degree.

Id say it was both gradual and drastic, as he started offering a few sparse words to Red when he was around 6-9, but once they were on their own, there was more pressure to "act normal", so he wound up forcing himself to verbally communicate more frequently than he would've chosen.

Whiiich also sort of answers the next part! It was mostly pressure from "the outside world" (the rest of the underground). Pretty much anything can be perceived as a weakness, and since "quiet" reads more as "shy" for a child/teen, Red discouraged Edge from communicating predominantly in Hands.
