Something I've realized

The cliffhanger of this update is Malleus trying to enter Idia's room, but Idia refuses to open the door.

Which I find funny, because Idia's unique magic is literally "opening the door".

Could this be seen as a subtle allegory of Idia being the Guardian of the Underworld, ensuring that the entrance remains closed so no evil can get through?...
