Last night's winner was Sinfully Cherry
A very nice, light green tea with what seems like an artificial cherry flavor (the package says natural) and rose to sweeten it up. Definitely more on the sweet side than tart. It has a cherry-rose aroma when you pick up the glass. There's something about the nature of this being a green tea that makes it very pleasant. It calms down the intensity the cherry might have and allows the rose to feel natural, I think.
Tonight's teas:
Twinings Earl Grey Jasmine Apricot Ginger Twinings Cold Brew Mixed Berries Twinings Decaf English Breakfast Honeybee Ginger Elixir Grapefruit Basil (no link - described as "refreshing and tart, this stunning black tea combines notes of grapefruit, orange, and basil with a zest of lime!")
Thanks for helping me get rid of the tea. :)

This was a drawing I did last year for an Art Jam where you had to draw your characters as if they were in an animation screenshot. So, I decided to draw Greg and Chad as if they were in a vintage commercial advertising Twinings Tea. This was a very fun project, I used actual photos from online for the furniture and Twinings tin.

I recently discovered this delicious Jasmine Green Tea from Twinings. It tastes like the tea you get from Chinese restaurants. I love it!

Hey, this isn’t related to the story but I was curious how you got started with twine? Your story inspired me and I want to learn the program so I can make my own. I wanted to see if you had any advice or reference points. Perfectly fine if not, much love regardless!
I've messed with Twine on and off for a while now, so I'm not sure when I actually got into it? It was probably when I originally got into IFs back in like 2015 lol
I use Twine Sugarcube specifically, and I pretty much just watched/read through these:
Twine or Treat: a youtube playlist where a guy shows you how to make a game. Focuses more on making an exploration/puzzle game in Twine, but still has some useful/relevant info
Introduction to Twine: another video playlist, although again, I really only watched what I needed
The Twine Grimoire: there's 3, with each one going through more complicated concepts each volume, includes Harlowe as well as Sugarcube
Sugarcube (and Harlowe) also have their own documentation, but it's so Long and Daunting that I honestly just ignored it when I first started LOL. It's obviously useful to have and reference, but I always need to watch people doing the thing first. I really struggle with just reading through things personally. I'm comfortable enough with Twine now that it isn't overwhelming though lol
Also I'd argue you really only need to learn how to set variables to get started with IFs. Once you know how passages work and how variables work, you're almost set to make an IF.
I'd also recommend learning the very basics HTML and CSS just in case. There's plenty of Twine templates available for free on itch.io, but if you want to adjust them in any way, it's helpful to know CSS/HTML. Also just have fun and mess around! From visual novels to this IF, my learning process has honestly just been 'fuck around and find out' and it's been useful so far! I also think it helps with the inherent anxiety of trying something new too
But yeah, hopefully some of this is helpful/useful to you!

It's finally tea season ☕️ I can't wait to have my favorites (peppermint tea and ginger tea) What tea flavors do the ROs prefer 🥳
Oh I have been waiting for tea season for so long! I'm on a matcha kick right now.
For the RO's
Hazel: Chamomiles rose tea. She likes teas that are light and aromatic.
Gabriel: Black tea. If he's feeling really decadent, he'll add some honey.
Belladonna: Any blends of tea that include jasmine or hibiscus.
Malcolm: Matcha tea or orange ginger
Milo: Boba

Last night's winner was Celestial Seasonings Raspberry Zinger
Like the blueberry, you can tell the flavoring is artificial. It has the underlying raspberry essence, but over the top is some kind of sweetening that doesn't...enhance the raspberry so much as it is just a secondary complementary flavor. Again, not something I'd pick on the regular but if you want fast, easy, and fruity...this is a nice choice.
I'm traveling for the next seven days, and I'm not bringing my loose leaf teas with me. So for this week's polls, we'll get whatever handful of teabags I grabbed!
Tonight's teas:
Twinings Nightly Calm Harney & Sons Dragon Pearl Jasmine Twinings Decaf English Breakfast Twinings Pomegranate & Raspberry Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime Extra Numi Jasmine Green

Idk this is such a niche problem but like. The state of non specialist tea selection is growing worse and worse

CAN I SEE THE TEABAG THAT SOUNDS LIKE ITS SO CUTE ALSO WHERE DID U GET IT‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
OKAY they're from adagio teas it's an online store we get all our fancy teas from there cause it's way cheaper than the little mall tea shops. It's all loose leaf tea and I originally got 6 of them in these little tins but the Aang and Iroh ones went the hardest so I got big bags of them when my mom was making a Big order lol

The fandom blends I believe are fan-made so like. Take a peek at what's in them 2 make sure it'll actually taste good lmao but these were all really good.
The website is super helpful I find, they list the prices by the weight w a conversion of how much it is per cup (for example, a 3oz bag for $9 is $0.24 per cup) and last time we bought some was around Easter so they sent us a little Easter themed tea for free ^◡^
