Clients could make requests, and the twins would decide whether to take the job. Simple swaps—attending a lecture, filling in for a shift at work—came cheap. High-risk swaps, like dealing with an angry ex or giving a big presentation, cost extra.

There were rules, of course. No illegal activities. No long-term swaps. And no asking questions. They didn’t care why someone wanted to escape their life for a while—only that they could pay.

Sitting in their apartment, Caleb scrolled through their latest batch of requests. A freshman wanted someone to cover for her in a brutal midterm. A senior was desperate for a way out of a family dinner. One guy just wanted a night off from being himself.

Logan leaned back in his chair, cracking his knuckles. “We’re gonna make a fortune.”

About the lore(?) Under the cut!

So. Um. It's a typical Swap AU where Knives is trying to save humanity and Vash annihilate it.

But not out of hatred; instead Vash loves mankind so much he wants to save them from human suffering altogether by fully merging them with the Plants.

By merging, Plants become independent like himself and humans become (almost) immortal. No hunger, pain, or disease. But instead human subjects lose free will, or can get killed by the process. Utter Human-Plant Integration, thus "Integration AU"

Vash have amassed some zealots through his own religion (like Knives did in the canon) and the most devoted of them become "the Clerics" (Gung-ho Guns). Cleric Bluesummers however had a change of his heart and joined Knives on his mission to stop Vash. Because I can't separate millionsummers

All Clerics wear 'clerical collar' like things, but they differ in style. (e.g. woowoo's chocker)

Morality

Knives WILL kill if necessary, but not willingly. He will avoid if possible. Same goes to Legato. (Also... will do mercy killing at some point?)

Vash also will kill some if they are REALLY in the way, but mourns them deeply and weeps for days

About their powers:

Vash of course has higher capacity but his true Gate can only be open by Knives; making him essential for his plan. Without him he can only produce some plant material but can be deadly to human nonetheless. Same goes to knives; only few blades at a time, but still a deadly warrior (close-range fighter like Edward FMA). Also he carries a gun, since you can't really bring a knife to a gunfight?? Lol. he wears cropped jacket, so his gun is hidden on his sides, with a holster. Knives also can heal other plants, like Vash did in the canon.

Couffaine twin kwami swap! I’ve had this idea for a while and I finally did it.

Julekas hair is supposed to resemble the hood do a cobra and I changed her weapon to a whip because I think the lyre is really stupid because 1.) how do you fight with it? 2.) not used in activating the power like the yo-yo and flute, and 3.) not related to snakes. I figured a whip would be far more useful in a fight and also looks like a snake.

I probably could have been more creative with luka but I feel like he came out okay. I changed the stripes from the warm plum color that purple tigress had to a cooler more blue toned purple. I really like his mask since my one complaint about purple tigresses design is that her mask is kind of boring and plain despite tigers having a tone of markings and characteristics on their faces.

I don’t know what they’re names would be any ideas?

Also I’m working on hawkmoths redesign now and I’m pretty happy with it so far.

“Gojo-sensei!”

“Sensei, you’re back!”

“Sensei!”

“Alright now, don’t crowd him,” Shoko claps her hands together. There’s no disguising the amusement in her words, though. Satoru supposes that he can see why she would find his current situation amusing, though –his students are swarming him in a way that feels a bit like he’s getting overwhelmed by excited puppies at the moment.

Satoru laughs. “This happy to see me, huh?”

“We thought you were gone, sensei,” Yuta says, relief saturating his tone. “When we realized that it wasn’t damage from the Prison Realm that you were suffering from, but instead a cursed spirit that had taken over your body–”

And the curious thing was, his alternate self’s first reaction hadn’t been surprise at the sound of another voice inside his own head, but instead anger.

Apparently, in another world, Gojo Satoru had a twin sister: Gojo Shiki. A twin who’d been murdered at birth, and Satoru is definitely going to have to look into things on his end, because if that had been true in his world as well, then–!

It might be a cursed spirit thing. Satoru has never seen another sorcerer whose reverse cursed technique is as powerful as what Satoru-and-Shiki are capable of together. Scary, scary. Satoru might even be in a spot of trouble if Shiki decided that she didn’t want to return his body to him, and he knows that his alternate self would only indulge his little cursed spirit sister.

But Shiki hadn’t cared for holding onto his body. In fact, she’d only been all too happy to return to her twin brother’s body, and alternate-Satoru had eagerly welcomed her back –and this unthinking, unshakable trust that they have in each other, the bond that they share…

It’s something that makes Satoru wonder, just a little bit.
