On average, what is the total MONTHLY amount that you spend on dining out*?
*(This doesn't only count going out to restaurants, but also stuff like picking up fast food to bring home, getting a coffee on the way to work, getting a premade sandwich from a grocery store deli during lunch, buying a quick snack from a convenience store or food cart whilst walking somewhere, ordering a pizza or any other food to be delivered to your home, etc.)
*(If you often dine out in groups/as a household: calculate and divide the costs so that you get a Per Person average. This is for YOU individually, NOT the total household/group costs)
(I'm sure polls similar to this have been made before (very common topic), I just haven't personally seen one that I can remember, so, I was curious to do my own! I was discussing this with a group of people today and it was very interesting to see how widely the number varied between individuals. :0c )

Maybe the rare month is a bit over $25 if there's something specific going on like birthday.#Which I'm NEVER eating in an actual restaurant (erm... covid... plus I just hate restaurant environments. i would rather pickup#the food and bring it home to a peaceful quiet environment that I control lol). But more typically like stopping by a grocery store deli#section or something. I don't have coffee that much. And I can't eat fast food much due to my health issues/diet restriction stuff#so if I'm out like coming back from an appointment and I start feeling really sick and weak. I know that a hamburger will just#blow up my system and cause nausea or something. So I try to pick the breadiest most#neutral looking turkey sandwich at the safeway deli to eat during the hour ride home or whatever lol#I actually kind of wish I could do stuff like get food more often vecause it would take the burden of cooking everything off of me#but.. alas... Money... and Health Things... T o T#I still wouldn't do it ALL the time but like... once a week instead of once a month or something.. or maybe turning into a coffee#person.. I do love drinks A LOT .. i am a drink person who will have 5 different drinks sipping on at all times#But i just have to make them all myself mostly lol#And I cant really have too much coffee since it will make me sick. so like.. teas and juice mostly#When I inevitably become a millionaire by never using social media never networking and only finishing one#sculpture every 5 months which I dont even post about or sell - then I shall... get more drinks..#I will somehow wean my body onto coffee and drink one a day solely for the ritual of it#Though even then... I would still probably just like.. buy the mateirals to make it at home or something#Like if you had a million dollars you could just buy a kitchen grade ice cream machine and other stuff to make your own milkshakes and#coffees and smoothies and bubble teas. Genuinely I think even if I were a BILLIONAIRE I would still look at playing likr $8 for a single#coffee and go .. uh.... I could just buy the equipment to make this and then save that money. PLUS. its in my house now so no need to#have to leave. I can make my own drinks in the comfort of home. .. ideal..#Like no matter how rich I ever got I would still have the lingering scroogey stinginess. like i am NOT paying for that. AND ANOTHER THING. i know that on a meta level this is literally just How Video Game Bosses Work. but also with how well the game mechanics work into the story in many other cases i don't think it's unreasonable to look at it from an in universe perspective

i think it really says something that loop only uses their stronger attacks in their second phase. i think it really says something that you have to bring them down to 0hp four (4) times, attacking them repeatedly + proving that you are willing to genuinely hurt/kill them, before they'll use their most powerful attacks on siffrin
#talk tag#isatposting#isat#in stars and time#isat spoilers#in stars and time spoilers#man i am wordy today huh#anyways. i think abt loop a normal amount can you tell. i think about twohats a normal amount can you tell#also wait hold on i just checked the stats page again for this post and. it seems like loop Cannot crit in phase one?#unless im reading it wrong. but like. gestures emphatically if that is true#id need to go fight them again to check but i dont think attack buffs would do anything (bc their attacks are percentage based)#which would mean if both of those things are true the max damage they can do in phase one IS genuinely just 17% of ur hp#+ even if attack buff DOES do smth thatd still only be uhhhhhhh#like 25%? but even then they can only buff once per loop in phase one + they only do that 17% attack once every 3 turns#so theyd only be able to get one of those. so im just gonna say 17% max for simplicity sake#guarding halves the damage down to 8.5% and for the other attack halves it to 5%. you heal 6% every turn with the memory#you could literally just stand there and guard forever and absolutely nothing else. and stay at almost full hp the whole time#if im doing the math right then youd lose a total of 0.5% hp for every three turns. by just standing there and doing nothing but guarding#loop! does not! want!!! to hurt siffrin!!!!!!!! thank you for coming to my ted talk. takes a bow#wait thats not taking into account attack speed actually hold on#okay so its gonna vary based on level obvs + also my sif has the scissors equipped which lowers attack speed and i cant. unequip them </3#BUT. opened up my act 6 save to check. his attack speed is 186 (at level 76) and loops is 170. so sif outpaces loop#which MEANS [clears throat] sif can probably outheal all the damage loop does given enough time#okay. thank you for coming to my ted talk for REAL this time. maybe ill make these tags their own post i fucking went off so much help m#was joking abt being really wordy today and then went and wrote a FULL ESSAY in the tags like okay

I know I design him with the intention that he becomes an evasion tank, but there's an irony I find very amusing in making his new magitek armor lighter than his original.
#ffxiv#sketch#concept#zenos yae galvus#adventurer zenos#I'm probably gonna mess with the design more involving his grieves and the belt design#but I'm at least happy with the mask and the marble aesthetic for the upper half of his helm#even if it reminds me heavily of sentai helmets#superhero landing lookin ass#what is not shown is tsu having to heavily bribe nero for the auto-equip tech that he has#aggressively even#...wait that actually does just make him a power ranger#WHOOPS#anyways I also just like the idea of- after a while- him and estinien just keep getting tackled or chased by kids that think theyre cool#and zenos in particular trying hard to shoe them off for a variety of reasons lol#I just get the mental image of him picking up any one of them that approach him- turning them around trying to get them to just walk off#or him “begrudgingly” nudging a ball back and forth acting like hes just trying to move it away from him#I also drew the bottom right with the thought of him not being used to short hair- and he's just stuck having to constantly brush it back#takes the helmet off and it all just fluffs up- and you just hear a sigh through his mask LOL#and then with the cloth- he can turn it into weapons he's used before in case of emergency or utility- like a scythe or the katanas#mostly because as I write adventurer zenos- unless it requires stabbing or slashing he's usually just going to be up front brawling it#look you gotta understand- the final fight lives in my head rent free and I adore the concept of brawler/pugilist zenos

how are we doing this fine friday evening
#mellipost#left work to go get my medical supplies that they love to leave at a collection point much further away than I request#managed to get both boxes home am tired and hungry#enter our building where renovations are ongoing so I already know there won't be any water until march and most things are sealed off#enter my apartment#carefully set my medical packages down ONLY in my wardrobe since floor is always covered in building dust and debris#turn around#plastic tube running from completely sealed in bathroom to closed living room towards the balcony#sealed in bathroom has a giant warning sign with ASBESTOS WARNING#FML immediately leave apartment to call my landlady to see if I'm like safe or whatever#she calls the responsible people and quickly (thank god) gets back to me saying I should be safe and don't touch any equipment#equipment piled up in front of my bedroom but it's not her fault#torn between being angry at whomever left a red bull can on my floor and being relieved that at least the construction people have felt saf#enough to consume something in here I guess#I kind of wanted to start up streaming again this weekend but friends buddies fellow residents of this planet idk if I have it in me#gonna check out wikipedia to see how soon I should expect symptoms in case asbestos turns out to be real and present l m a o#after ordering food#not thrilled about eating in here if I'm gonna be real with you but I'm too tired to go out

#they should invent a grad school thats not fucking insane#i'm hanging in there but im the most unwell i've been in AWhile#this week was just horrible#there was already the freezer food incident but it also started off with a very severe pain episode thats putting me in constant woe#even mundane motion has been agonizing which is McAwesome bc we had a lab inspection which involved moving hundreds of pounds of equipment#during which we found a blackwidow and rats which we had to deal with and was a whole thing psychologically on top of the physical toll#the new class fiasco is still popping off and i had to respond to at this point over 400 emails in the fleeting moments outside of lab#AND A STUDENT TRIED TO FINANCIALLY BRIBE THEIR WAY INTO THE CLASS ? ?? ?? ?????#then the instructor wanted to use me as a guinea pig and i had to test new circuit boards but I wasnt given any time to do so properly#i had to test them plus get them operational and deal with my incoming students all in a frantic 10 minute window#im in charge of running our meetings too but the instructor was interrupting and having side conversations that made it really hard-#to train the other people on the new equipment in a smooth manner#which meant that a bunch of people had to keep me after to ask questions which made me late for my drs appointment#where i found out i cant get the new covid vaccine bc my heart and blood levels arnt stable enough#and joanns lost an expensive+critical fabric order of mine+i had to give a big presentation this week on my research that was stressful#and my inbox is still blowing up from being needed all over the place between teaching lab and classes and yall i am. so so tired.#im in so much pain and so stressed out#debating the ethics of turning into a pile of lint to escape my responsibilities and mortal frame

S4 E3 Supernatural
Now THIS is a good episode. Castiel took Dean back in time to 1973! We find out Sam and Dean's maternal grandparents, Samuel and Deanna Campbell, and Mary are hunters. On top of that, Azazel is playing match maker so he can have his little psychic children be the best of the best, and he made a deal with Mary to revive John after he killed him. Also as if Azazel hasn't killed enough of Sam & Dean's family they killed Samuel and Deanna too. Oh this is so interesting, then Castiel taking Dean back, saying destiny can't be changed but Sam is going down a dark path and either Dean stops him or angels do.
