one of my favorite things about post-game friendship trio is that the single braincell they share is passed between them equally 😂 only one of them is allowed to be smart at any given time while the others are being absolute dumbasses. some rambly thoughts on their dynamics:

You might THINK Richard is the smartest one, he's certainly the most knowledgeable, but one only has to look as far as Lineage and Legacies to see that he is ready to enter Silly Mode(TM) at any given time, including in the goddamn Lastalia where he tried to kill everyone before 😂. Sophie usually follows suit, as she is wont to mimic whatever is going on, leaving Asbel to somehow be the grounded adult in the room reining them in before Richard's theatrics and Sophie's cheerful assistance land them all in trouble.

Sophie herself is also capable of being silly, usually due to either her active imagination (like the skit where she hopes sopherias will sprout of everyone's heads and start talking) or naive misunderstandings (like falling for whatever nonsense Malik has been telling her). Her lack of life experience among humans and differing experiences due to her nonhuman status also lend to this. But Asbel, who is fully human btw, is only slightly better in this regard and is really just as likely to fall for blatant lies or obvious disguises, which usually means Richard has to be the one keeping his oblivious well-intentioned friends from being scammed... assuming he's not the one scamming them 😅

Neither Sophie nor Asbel know who the Mask of Barona is, for example, though Sophie is closer to figuring it out, and in that case since Richard's doing his theatrical thing again, Sophie is left with the braincell. Sophie could also be the braincell holder in shippy contexts where somehow both Richard AND Asbel believe that the other does not reciprocate their feelings. She's not always good at reading feelings yet she is very observant, so I imagine even she'd notice their similar reactions to each other, or the way they talk about the other. She can be emotionally grounded and necessarily blunt, since she has less familiarity or attachment to weird human social etiquette involving romance and whatnot. Lastly, she is undoubtedly the calmest of the trio, so in specific contexts where her human friends might be freaking out she can keep a level head (eg. Not entirely canon but one of the drama CDs has the three of them on what is basically a thrill ride and Sophie is delighted while Asbel and Richard are screaming in the background).

Graces Prompt Fest 2025 is now open!

A prompt fest is an event where users submit prompts for fan work ideas and other users fill them. There is no obligation to fill a prompt, and a prompt can be filled multiple times if desired.

When submitting a prompt, you will have the option to be anonymous. This collection is NOT anonymous by default, but you can submit your work to the archive's "Anonymous" collection to render it anonymous if you so wish.

There are two collections, one for SFW-only prompts and one that allows for NSFW prompts.

All ships and content are welcome, provided they remain within the ratings of their respective collections!

Prompting will open as of this posting when the first Earth timezone enters July 1st and will close when the last Earth timezone enters September 1st. You can see what time that is for you here!

Submitted prompts will remain available to fill after the prompting period, so you can still fill claims after August ends!

Tales of Graces AU where everyone gets elemental powers based on their country of origin's valkines. Asbel's wind artes tend to feel like being body slammed. Cheria has Healing Wind and somehow always summons cherry blossoms with her artes. Richard's winds are dizzying spirals which seem rather weak until he and Lambda master the art of the cyclone. Hubert's gusts are narrow and rapid like bullets, and stand out especially in Strahta where the rest of the military has water artes. Malik is able to hide the fact that he's from Fendel by heating the air around him to produce winds that can knock someone back, similar to Asbel, but with less force and more painful temperature. Pascal just explodes everything.

Sophie though... Not sure what element she should have 🤔 Maybe light, synthetically produced by her particles like her usual sparkles. Or earth, which everyone from Fodra originally had control over and thus bestowed to their combat humanoids too. Or 💐flowers💐 if you can call that an element 😅
