Fascism is inherently unsustainable

because every fascist rise to power comes from a promise to solve a problem (real or imagined)

But this creates a paradox...

because the biggest threat to fascism comes if they actually SOLVE the problem, in doing so they negate the need for fascism

So if you are looking around at the world today and wondering why we have crises everywhere and no one in power seems to have any urgency to fix anything

Its because capitalism and fascism are feeding each other

Capitalism ravages the planet for profits and creates instability through exploitation and environmental damage

This creates a crisis

Fascism then comes in and blames the issue on a scapegoat, usually immigrants, but any politically powerless group will do (trans people are another popular target)

People get angry and distracted by the fascist rhetoric, and that gives the capitalists cover to go and exploit more resources and labor

And on it goes, crisis and profit, until society collapses

guys what the heck. i think my frontal lobe just finished developing. turns out you can literally do whatever you want in life. you can start wearing hats one day. you can cut your hair and it will grow back. you can go to the library and check out your books, but you don’t have to immediately leave. you can take your time and even sit on one of the couches and read a couple chapters. and you are allowed to change your mind!! you can like something for a while and get tired of it and like something else. you can start over as many times as you want. nothing has to be permanent unless you want it to be!! i don’t know why i carried so much shame and guilt for so long just for being myself. it’s okay to just try things and see if you like them. it’s okay to just be!
