So I was thinking, (using this analogy cause I am watching a lot of them on YouTube lately) but when I am around people, I'm like Jamie Hyneman, but in private I am more Adam Savage. There's such a big disconnect between my public and private personality, and although I have improved on showing certain emotions around people, ye, I think I'll always have different sides. Which I think in part is caused due to anxiety, trauma, and potentially undiagnosed ASD for so many years

But that got me thinking, how much do others mask? Also cause it was fun to see that difference last time, whether or not you are on the Autism Spectrum Disorder or not as a fun bonus question!

What's the proper etiquette for responding to people's comments or tags with commentary in reblogs?

I've been tagging them and thanking them in the comment section of the post itself since I don't want to fill my blog with reblogs of the same post over and over to respond.

Should I be DM-ing them instead?

So I'm a Science Spider, not a Language Spider. Trying to make a motto for emails and such that means: "Knowledge is power, and with great power, there must also come great responsibility." Google says: "Scientia potentia est et cum potentia magna venit magnus responsabilitate", should work. But I don't know enough Latin syntax to confirm and my searches about it are confusing. Are there any Latin enthusiasts on here?

Hii, i hope you don't mind if i ask about being fluid, but what are your thoughts on being able to decide/choose your gender. Sorry if this is weird btw

First thing first... it's fine to ask questions it's better to ask questions rather than blatantly spreading things.. also im just one of the fluid gang so i don't represent the 100% of the fluid peeps. each one of us are different they are persons after all..

ehem...

i don't have the ability to manipulate my gender.. the closest thing i did is to "activate" the said gender by living by that gender.

one time i tried on skirt and somehow "she" came out from me.. also there's one time that i feel really dysphoric that "he" managed all the things, it's weird..

but ultimately it's all random.. that things only happens really rare.

my thoughts to other people is meh to cool..

So I've watched a few videos recently where people say things like "Lowkey", but it got me thinking, my whole life I've never really used slang. I might use a few acronyms (although those are also rare), but ever since I was a child and even still now, for some reason I just never used slang terms and it always has felt exceptionally weird for me to use them, to the point I think even people around me would be freaked out if I ever did use them, because many people have commented on my "rigid" and "formal" speaking style. Even back in the day on the old phone keypad, certain words I would use text speak, but most I would often just write the full word, which annoyed many friends.

But it got me wondering, how many other people just bypassed slang? Also, I guess a fun bonus question, are you autistic or not? As I most likely am (just awaiting a formal diagnosis) which I theorise partially causes this language rigidity. That and I had such severe issues with spelling, reading, and even speaking growing up, it was a process for me to learn the basics, forget slang and shorthand speak as well.
