Making another post because shit still sucks!!! I’m past due on last months rent and don’t have anything for this month, I’m waiting for unemployment to be approved but i don’t have anything until then and i need to take my cat to the vet too 😭

my rent is $600, a vet visit for meg would be about $200, please if i could just get enough to cover those things i’d be able to rest easier.

i’m disabled with chronic pain and need a remote job so it’s hard for me to find work but i’m looking. i’m trying. please help me out so i don’t have to move back in with my parents

okay so this ended up southern philanthropy with a side of firstprince - largely in part cuz when i write them i've been using liam pov and been thinking about switching that up and well pez kinda decided this one was his - so you get to be my experiment in pez pov - i so did not stay under 500 word goal - oops lolz

Percy will not admit Henry is right. That would mean he’s been wrong twice in the last 48 hours, and he’s not sure he can take that, “I’m sorry, what was that?”

Henry looks up at him, and he can see from the set of his jaw and the look in his eyes that he’s trying to be sympathetic but really feels Percy’s brought this upon themself. “Pez, you know what you have to do.”

“Me? Apologize? I think you have me confused for someone else …” He trails off. Unfortunately, he knows Henry is right. This might be the time he needs to swallow down his pride and apologize. It would be so much easier if he could buy himself out of this, but that’s what got him here in the first place.

Henry sighs, “I know you meant well. I’ve done it myself; it was one of the few real fights Alex and I had that first year after he moved into the brownstone. I know you’ve never thought twice about spending your money on everyone around you, but it might help if you remember that Liam didn’t grow up that way.”

“I know, I just was trying to tell him I … well, you know.” Henry laughs at him, and Pez wants to punch him, but he knows he deserves this at least a little for the guff he gave him about Alex in the early days.

“I know, but if I were you, I would ask myself if he knows. From what I understand from Alex, you made a blunder similar to one I made and tried to pretend you could do casual with him.”

Shite. He did do that, he had really thought at the time that was all he could do. He might have forgotten to check in with Liam when it became more, assuming they were on the same page. He lets out a deep breath, “How did you fix that?”

“I ran away, and Alex stormed the palace, remember? Don’t recommend it.” Henry laughs, and Pez can’t help but join in.

“Okay, so yes, you’re the wrong person to ask, but who should I ask?”

“I might recommend the person you are in this with,” comes from behind him, and Pez would recognize that voice anywhere.

He turns to see Alex and Liam standing in the doorway. The smug grin on Alex’s face tells him they won’t soon hear the end of how they botched this up. Especially considering how much shite they’ve all given him and Henry for taking so long to pull their head out of their arses. He moves to Liam, and before he can even get out the ‘I’m sorry,’ Liam’s lips have found his. Liam pulls away and whispers, “I love you, too.”

Pez pulls back in a bit of shock, “Oh, you’ve been here that long have you?”

Liam looks down and says, “We got to the door around the time you were so eloquently saying you ‘well, you know,’ so I took a leap. That it was the same thing I know. I love you, and if that means I have to get used to you spending exorbitant amounts of money when it’s not needed, I will learn to deal with it because it is part of you, sugar.”

Pez melts at the endearment; it’s silly, really. It’s the only one that seems to have stuck, and he knows why. He knows Liam can see how it makes him putty in his hands every time. “I will do better at talking about things before I go off and plan and pay for them, but I can’t say I won’t still plan and pay for them. It is an essential part of how I show love.”

“I know that. I think it was less about the money and more about the fact that you just assumed, and it felt a little bit like I was just at your beck and call. I’ve been so head over heels for you that I can’t stand just to be the person you call when you want a little fun.”

“Oh, you haven’t been that in so long. We’ll get better at this communication thing, and for the record, I love you.” Pez is cut off from anything else he would have meant to say by Liam’s lips. They kiss slow and long, lips moving against each other in a dance that seems like they’re the only ones who know the steps. Pez isn’t sure how long they kiss, but when they finally pull apart, he’s leaning against a wall, and they’re the only two left in the room. He wonders how long they’ll leave them; after all, this is Henry’s office, and he’ll have to return to work eventually. For now, he presses his lips back to Liam’s and figures that can be a future Pez problem.
