That was probably the last chance to take photos on a sunny day. The golden autumn is almost over. Soon all trees will be leafless and everything becomes dull and grey. So before it happens, here are some photos of clear blue sky and disused truss bridge, as well as a tree with marks left by beaver's teeth.

As for the Sixth Street Bridge, it’s the longest and oldest truss-style bridge left in Michigan, and it’s really beautiful.

This year I had a really amazing vacation. I visited 11 towns/cities in a week. Of course the most beautiful was Duszniki-Zdroj. I'm totally in love with this spa town. I already miss Lower Silesia and its picturesque trails. Here are some snaps from Dzikowiec, Duszniki-Zdrój, Nowa Ruda, Tłumaczów (PL) and Broumov (CZ).

A Bridge to Cross in Banff National Park by Mark Stevens Via Flickr: While walking around the Castle Mountain Viewpoint with a view looking to the east=northeast to a bridge crossing of the Bow River. This is in Banff National Park. With no traffic present then, I used that time to line myself up to compose a leveled-on view with the bridge crossing. I worked to get a good focal length to include some of the nearby trees and mountainside as a backdrop.
