All I want to make right now are these gooey noisy chord / drone / texture things that slowly shift and evolve. No melody, no meter. Pure sound bath, dumb and beautiful.

The video features 100% wet Mood MKII using the “drip” delay to pitch everything down and chop it up. There’s no raw tape in the mix, it is all Mood (in spread mode btw, turn your phone sideways for stereo stuff).

Eerie and deep, this is an album entirely made from samples of Egyptian pop star Sherine Abdel-Wahab. Czech-based Egyptian producer Qow has taken all the pop out of them, leaving nothing but dusty loops, digitally smeared atmospheres and a real vibe of longing. Strange and beautiful. -Kris
