eating a little bit of a particle is fine. the victim rebirths (if they do), maybe they feel a little fucked up n empty, but whatever! it'll go away over time once their meat is fully digested and is out of the neutron's system. the eaten energy goes back to the particle, all is good.

the neutron might be hearing things - nothing major. maybe they'll think someone called their name when there was nobody around. maybe they thought they heard a sound when nothing happened. nothing big

type 2 eatery

so the neutron has decided to eat a couple limbs. okay! thats fun! the particle rebirths, and is VERY unstable. the missing energy will cause them to rebirth more often. unless the meat is fully digested and/or destroyed, the victim's gonna stay like that for a while. they might even feel a pull towards the neutron that ate them - like their energy is trying to piece the victim back together. but if nobody ate the meat and the meat is destroyed, then the victim will return to normal.

the neutron is DEFINITELY gonna be hearing shit. whispers? things that go bump in the night? fun. so fun! maybe there's a silhouette in the corner of their eye that disappears when they look at it. maybe they feel a phantom hand touch them. maybe they feel a tightness in their throat that wasn't there before. maybe they feel tingly. or numb. maybe they hear their name being called out in anguish. but thats probably nothing!!!!!!! youve just not had enough sleep!!!!!!!! <- lying

even if the meat is fully digested, the neutron's gonna still be hearing things. not as major as before - more like the symptoms in type 1 eatery. easily ignored

body? what body? theres only bones! and blood!!! yeah thats right the neutron fucking eated you all. the particle rebirths - but because there's so little of it the energy goes "fuck this. most of the energy is near this neutron bitch anyways. imma hang out" and it makes a ghooosttttt........

now the particle gets to hang out with the neutron!!! ghost shenanigans!!! they can't stray very far from the neutron though

the neutron gets to see the ghost in all their glory! or. whenever they wanna be seen. theyre just a bunch of vaguely humanoid energy buzzing about. but yep! ghost! even if the meat gets fully digested and is out of the neutron's system, the energy is still lingering around. like. im sorry buddy but you have particle in your system now. that energy is kinda not coming out. it's attached to your nerves. it's a part of YOUR energy now. youre gonna be stuck with mr ghost here for a veeeery long time

Like Bill fucking traumatized Ford: Euclid and Scalene's estranged long lost son fucking severly traumatized and manipulated a realtive of their adoptive kids: there's gotta be more complex feelings there? Both Scalene and Euclid were under the impression that Bill died when Euclidea inevitably collapsed in on itself. They told Dipper and Mabel that they had a child, but never went into much detail, as it hurt too much to talk about.

(You can imagine how fucking gutted they were when they saw images of him all around the Shack. Journal 3 was just a big fat gob of salt in their open wounds)

Reconnecting for them is like a healing an infected wound: you have to cut out the rot, grit your teeth for the burn of cleaning it out, work to keep the infection away, and accept the fact that there will be a scar.

Bill is so fundamentally broken and mentally unwell that not even the Axolotl can really fix him. The best he can do is help Bill get to a point where he can begin again in a different form. But getting to that point is the real trouble. It's rotten work, a path laden with pain and suffering and hurt feelings, but it's the only option worth fighting for.

Scalene and Euclid feel immense guilt for the mistakes they made raising Bill. They allowed themselves to be pressured into trying to make their gifted son normal, and everyone they ever loved and then some ended up paying the price. Bill may have started the fire, but their misguided good intentions handed him the match.

Bill himself is a whirlwind of emotions. He is unexplainably relieved that his parents are alive, but that also means that he can no longer possess a false bravado and pretend he intentionally slaughtered his entire dimension. His past is red and blue and in his face, and the voices have only gotten louder since he saw his mother's heartbroken face. Not only that, but they have, in his eye, replaced him with two of the people destined to destroy him! They look at Shooting Star and Pinetree with all the fondness they used to look at him with, and it makes his insides burn.

They also are constantly setting off each other's triggers, like some kind of sick oroborus of trauma. Bill's powers often manifest as pyrokinesis, which isn't great when your parents are still living with the horrific injuries caused by said fire. On the other side of the coin, Euclid has been soothing the twins with gentle TV static since they were little, since his preferred method of manifestation is screen-based technology, (whereas Scalene prefers music and books) which has caused Bill to spiral into a violent panic attack more than once.

As for Ford... well, neither Cipher parent is fond of him, as i've stated, but while they don't know the entire story of how his and Bill's time together was, they know enough to know that it ended in violence and misery, and they are not so heartless that they do not feel pity for the man and disgust towards their son's actions. They make it very clear to their eldest, when they can stand to speak to each other, that he is to never possess another member of the Pines family.

He only breaks that promise once, though it was for a good reason. Gideon needed a good beat down, and Pine Tree was too hurt to make that jump without help.

Alright but really, here's a brief list of weird couple things:

Going down to Earth to slaughter mutants together. For Venuz it's practice to keep his gunslinging skills sharp, and for Bill it's to let out some of that violent energy. Definitely weird and morally dubious :P

Bill catches pests from around the mansion and likes to arrange the corpses in various shapes, words and patterns for Venuz as a sign of affection. And, just like with a cat bringing you a dead mouse, Venuz makes sure to give him lots of grateful pats and kisses to let him know he appreciates it before tossing them outside lmao

Venuz will sometimes stroke along Bill's lashes as a tender gesture and/or to ground him. His lashes are actually whiskers, and doing this serves as an invitation to allow Bill to feel him and connect through Bill's more fine-tuned tactile senses

They enjoy swimming in Venus's various volcanoes, just because they can! Nice 'n toasty

Speaking of Venus, Bill is rather fond of the sulphuric acidic rain. Physical pain is something he enjoys (not like a self-harm thing, just some crossed wires) and the little droplets are almost soothing to him (so long as it doesn't get in his eye; anywhere but there). Venuz, being a Venusian, is adapted to be resistant to the acid and it's just kind of normal rain for him. So, sitting out in the rain together is a normal couple thing for Venuz and a really weird thing for Bill xDc

Every now and again, Venuz will allow Bill to possess his body (post-marriage). A weird and supremely intimate act

Venuz will occasionally gift Bill various flat or geometric objects. Paper, rulers, dice, abstract art, checkerboards, prisms, etc. as he's noticed over the years that Bill is fond of such things due to his heritage. One room of the mansion is dedicated to Bill's collection, and he occasionally naps or broods there when he's in a poor mood

If he's feeling particularly affectionate during a quiet moment, Bill may attempt to give Venuz a tongue-bath like the gross beast he is. Venuz tolerates this lmao

It's not uncommon for them to play-fight/wrestle. They are not immune to boys will be boys (and Bill has a lot of excess energy)

Not really weird, but they are fond of stargazing together. Venuz listens as Bill points out each star and tells stories and factoids about the planets around them (both true and untrue). Bill is happy to be able to share the stars with somebody :] (...and listen to himself talk of course)

🌸It's hard to imagine Vere with a sweet partner, unless they're rather strong willed. Which you would have to be to deal with him in general. I think the best possibility would be what Dracula and Lisa from castlevania have. Even then, I imagine it would take an eternity for him to come around.

The start of such a relationship would be rocky for sure. I think he would take such a personality as a challenge. He's seen wanna be mother Theresas before, and he knows their resolve crumbles at the slighest hint of danger or when they realize helping the fallen in a place like Eridia takes more than half thought out platitudes.

He would expect you to be the same and pull the usual antics; cornering you in alleyways, baring his fangs or his bloodsoaked claws ect... And turn around each and everytime expecting the looks of fear, disgust before he could proudly prove to you that your own deeply held convictions are a lie. Oh how delicious would the look in your eyes be.

Imho the best way to react to those antics is either indifference or mild annoyence. Why? Well for one it's not like he can go on a killing spree without the permission of the senobium(except for feeding, but I'll consider that a separate thing for the sake of this lxhdhsb), so his displays of violence were mostly confined to dangerous soulless wandering the alleyways. And two because it pisses him off. What? You're not gonna call him an unredeemable abomination? Well that's just not fair. How is he supposed to have his fun now?

His disappointment annoyance morphs into curiosity, then derision. You're not the Wretched creature that runs the clinic in lowtown, you're far easier to kill. Surely you know that right? No one takes those silly little values seriously. If you want to break your curse you'll have to grow a spine.

Yeah sorry, but it would take him a while, years maybe, to fully accept that part of who you are.

When he does though, I think he would develop a bit of a protective streak. He'll never stop pestering you about helping people who clearly wouldn't spit on you of you were on fire, but the remarks would grow less biting and more affectionate.

You might even convince him to do an act of charity here and there but that's where he stops. Having someone who genuinely cares is... nice.

It's a nice thing, and he doesn't have alot of those.

🌸I cannot write this man as anything other than a toxic menace so; Leander resents that part of you. To be precise, he resents that it's not just for him. Part of him is touched by your gentleness and perhaps he tells himself that keeping you under his thumb is the easiest way to preserve your light. Might hiss in faux pain just to have you cup his cheek and murmur "sorry". How kind. How cute.

He's never letting anyone else have you.

🌸Ais would also, much like Vere, be skeptical about your mother Theresa vibes. But he wouldn't be too much of an ass about it. I think the aspect he would crave most from such a partner would be total recognition and acceptance.

The sea spring is a curse in and of itself, so many souls sharing too few bodies and its easy for your own consciousness to be lost in a see of others. And it, in turn, can lead to a loss of autonomy (and identity) thats difficult to deal with. Ais understands that better than anyone, and he strives to give that sense of autonomy to others where he can. Thats why Vere likes him so much imo. It would make sense thats its something Ais himself would appreciate in return.

An angel to him then, would be someone who can tell him where the hivemind ends and where Ais begins. And then love the complicated, temperamental, monster-who-came-from-the-shroud Ais. He is not so different from the soulless, and being seen but rejected might be worse.

To get clarity on who he is, to have his identity redefined and given to him without being encroached upon and on top of it all loved? That would be true companionship. The end to his isolation.

Also not above getting hurt and asking to be pampered. It says in his bio that he likes bar fights. I like to think that it's beacuse it silences the cacophony in his head and the pain reminds him its his body. That he is in still in there, mostly because he feels the pain more than the rest of them.

Being pampered by you serves the same purpose. You love him. You are taking care of him. No other mind is the recipient of this love. He knows he is alive because he can feel the touch of his beloved.

🌸Kuras hates himself too much to let himself be happy as well. He believes that he doesn't deserve half of what you give him, even before you guys get together.

And I don't think you guys get together before a long long while. I think that you would dane around it. You would help around the clinic, offer food to the residents of lowtown ect..... And that work would bring you together.

At this point in his life Kuras is likely at the end of his rope so he would be to let you linger around him. Let these budding feelings grow and take root.

He can ignore the voice in his head that calls him unworthy as long as there is plausible deniability. Fingers brushing as he passes you your favourite coffee mug.Your breath on his cheek when he bends down so you can whisper something in his ear. Your knees bumping under the table in the cramped space of the clinics kitchenette. Your hand in his as he helps you navigate the crowded streets of lowtown.

It's almost enough, which means there is restraint, which means there is pain. So it's ok. He's not indulging. He knows he doesn't have the right to and he is not.

The problem, of course is that there is pain on both sides. Of course you wouldn't let his reasoning fly. Of course you don't believe he is a corrupt existence. Of course you love a Wretched being like him.

And of course he can't let you ruin yourself like that for him.

I will be upfront dear reader, you will love him for decades before Kuras lets himself love you back. Your insistance will win him over evantually, but centuries of guilt won't magically disappear. Certainly not when Kuras feels you are too good for him.

It is with Kuras that I most clearly see a mariage happening. The years you do get are pure marital bliss and Kuras's only regret is that he lost so much time with you being stubborn.
