Wake ups!

Wake ups are things that get an alter's attention, but not enough to fully front/co-front - rather, the alter would be co-conscious. The alter may stay and make comment on what "woke them up" for a time. For hyperfixation holders this might be anything related to a fixation, for instance. Wake ups can be both positive and negative.

(Example from my own experiences: Zoey is a fixation holder, sourced from the Left 4 Dead series. She hasn't fully fronted as of when I'm coining this, but she tends to be "woken up" whenever anything related to our fixations/special interests [especially her source series] is mentioned or talked about.)

Detectives!

Detectives are system roles that can serve multiple different purposes, all of which are related to finding things or solving mysteries. In the inner world, for instance, a detective role can work with memory managers and holders to locate a specific memory. Outside the system, a detective can front to help the body (and/or alter(s) with high amnesia) retrace the steps and circumstances they are in, and gain awareness of their situation.

This role and name were inspired by the so-called "detectives" of the Persona series (specifically Junpei Iori, Naoto Shirogane, and Goro Akechi from Persona 3, 4 and 5 respectively. We have fictives of all three and all of them use this role).

(This term is syscourse free and can be used by anyone regardless of syscourse stance; this term is not for radqueers and "transX" people.)
