Can They Cook And/Or Bake?

Is a master of cooking & baking, their food always edible & delicious plus anything they makes that's not a dessert is also healthy. Doesn't even need to look at a recipe: Percy & Grover & Reyna from age 12 (in Grover's case, chronologically 24) onwards.

Can cook & bake delicious meals very well only when precisely following a recipe as without 1 they messes up entirely, even burning water when lacking instructions to follow: Hylla from age 12 onwards.

Is good at cooking & baking nutritional meals which are edible, but taste terrible: Leo from age 12 onwards.

Can only make stuff that's put in the oven or microwave with no other preparation required, coz they easily ruins everything (soup, cake, everything) by attempting to do well with the sugar & salt & spices yet realising upon tasting the end result that they had messed up anyway: all of the 13 except minus Thalia and plus Hylla at age 5-11.

- in conjunction with @aroaceleovaldez 's headcannon, he LOVES skirts. 9 times out of ten after coming out, you will find her in a skirt. she likes the long, flowy ones the best.

- realized that his relationship with piper was really just him having gender envy for most of it. remember that scene where piper gets claimed and she gets that "aphrodite makeover" and jason's like "omg, she's so pretty"? yeah, he just really, really, really wanted to wear the dress.

- the all-boys school stint was when she was deep, deep in denial. she spent a few months there and disliked it. heavily (also he doesn't die in this au/headcanon because i said so.)

- thalia was the first person to know because she also fucks with gender like that. he was actually the person who inspired jay to come out.

- like jason saw them doing their gnc thing (in my mind thalia uses any pronouns) and something clicked. it's the "oh wait. could i live like that too?" moment.

- she's not super into makeup but she likes playing with it every now and then. it's just too much of a hassle most days.

- has rose gold glasses. there's no basis to this other than i've had rose gold glasses and i think she would really like them (fem but also a little androgynous).

- is the buffest woman you will ever meet. like holy hera, she looks like wonder woman most of the time. but actually only uses his muscles for cuddling with leo. also her arms look amazing when she's in formal dresses (this is very important to me. i <3 buff women in dresses).

- piper gives jason a bunch of her old dresses from movie premiers and stuff. piper never liked them much and she'd rather they get used by someone who actually wants them. they make a whole day out of it and get the dresses tailored to jay's body so they fit a bit better.

I have a little WIP written for an AU @manygeese and I came up with wherein Jason and Leo are both actually trans girls and get magically transed by the gods as a reward after saving Olympus

There's nothing in this wip that I can imagine would be too terribly triggering, but there are some allusions to dysphoria and, yknow, sex related body parts that one would ordinarily have dysphoria about.

NOTE: I'm also not trans myself so this will probably not be perfectly accurate to the experience, I just wanted to get this idea out. Hope you enjoy?

“Jason,” Apollo called. “There is one more thing.”

Jason turned to face the sun god. Leo and Piper stopped in their tracks as well, to see what more the gods wanted with their friend. “Yes, my lord?” Jason replied.

“After all you have done for me—for Olympus, as well—there is something else you should be rewarded with that you have always…needed.”

Jason had no clue what the god was talking about. “What do you mean?”

“I would give you…” briefly, Apollo locked eyes with his twin sister, who nodded approvingly. “I would give you the body you deserve.”

Zeus rumbled in irritation. “Apollo, is one gift from us not enough?”

Apollo held up his hand. “Father. This is my gift to her.”

Her? Jason’s head was swimming. “What do you mean, sir?” He asked Apollo. “What are you giving to me?”

Apollo smiled warmly, a smug knowingness in his blue eyes. He stepped forward and held out his hand. “You will see, my dear. I will show you.”

Jason took Apollo’s hand. It was supernaturally warm. He looked up and met the god’s eyes, confused.

And then the visions hit him.

Jason was hit by a memory of back when his best friend had been Reyna. Jason had once caught himself stealing glances at her as she did her muscle training when they were fourteen. He’d thought maybe it was just attraction, but looking back…he hadn't wanted to do anything to her. It was more that he wanted what she had—her hips had grown wider over the past couple of years he’d known her, her hair was long and lush and kept in a braid, her chest had gotten bigger and she had to wear bras now. Sometimes, the feeling had crossed Jason’s mind that he should be maturing in the same way his best friend was. He would like to be shaped with more feminine hips, and a big, soft chest. He sometimes thought it would be nice to grow his hair out, long and golden, and take more pride in the fact he was naturally blonde.

Jason remembered hearing something about how girls’ periods synced up when they were friends. It sounded silly to him even then, but he’d been a little sad that he'd never get to experience something like that.

Jason remembered reading about Sipriotes, the young Greek boy who was turned by Diana into a girl after having seen her naked by mistake. Jason had been about ten years old when he read that, and he’d thought for days afterward about what it would be like if he were suddenly magically turned into a girl.

Another memory, far deeper in Jason’s subconscious. He was about four years old. A teenaged camper—a girl, with deep red hair and serious brown eyes—sat in front of him, holding a book. Somehow, Jason remembered her name: Amber. Jason had asked her about the difference between boys and girls.

Amber waved for him to sit next to her on the floor. She opened the book to a page about reproductive systems and explained how all boys had this, and all girls had that.

Jason remembered being confused, and a little disappointed, that there was no way he could be a girl. Sometimes he wondered, what if he really was onel? What if he was somehow an exception to this rule that had been explained to him, a rare wonder of nature?

That thought faded from his head a few years later, replaced by preoccupations with his duty as his father’s son and his camp’s greatest weapon, rather than pondering thoughts about his—their? Her. Her identity.

Suddenly, Jason was back on Olympus, standing in front of the smiling sun god. Her head ached.

“Do you know what I’m offering, now?” Apollo asked gently.

“I would be…” Jason swallowed, their throat dry. “You would make me into a girl?”

“...what?” Leo murmured from somewhere behind.

Apollo chuckled. “Well…it could be said that you always were a young woman. I’m just offering to change your body so it's a bit more comfortable for you. Does that make sense?”

Jason flushed. “Will it…hurt?” They wondered out loud.

“The transformation? No, it shouldn't. I can certainly choose to make it painful,” he smiled wickedly, “but by default, it should be quite painless. It is up to you, though, whether you accept my offer.”

Jason glanced behind her at her best friends. Leo looked confused, but Piper smiled encouragingly.

Jason turned back to meet the god’s eyes. “Yes, my lord,” she decided. “I accept your offer. Thank you.”

Apollo waved his hand. Jason was blinded by a warm light shining in her eyes for a brief moment, then it subsided. The weight came back to her body, and everything felt…different. Suddenly, her clothes didn't fit quite right. Her shirt felt tighter against her chest—wait. Her chest.

Jason had boobs now. Interesting. She smiled despite herself. As she looked down, she also noticed her new locks of long, sandy blonde hair. She ran her hands through it excitedly. It was soft and shiny, with a slight wave to it. She was very happy with it.

“Thank you, Apollo,” Jason said genuinely. “I feel…wow. That's so much better, I can't believe it.”

Apollo nodded, looking pleased. “You do make a fine young lady.” He then turned to Leo. “And you, my dear. Would you like me to change you as well?”

Leo blinked. “Wait, what?” He and Jason both said in unison.

Apollo smiled and shook his head, like Leo’s confusion was adorable. He set a hand on the demigod’s shoulder. Leo blinked hard, then shook his head. “Whoa.” He said. “You mean I can be a girl, too?”

Apollo let go of him. “If you accept,” he said calmly.

Leo looked at Jason and Piper, who both nodded encouragingly. “And it doesn't hurt?” He asked Jason.

Jason shook her head. “Not at all. If you want this, we’ll support you, okay?”

Leo nodded. “Yeah,” he said, turning back to face Apollo. “Okay. I accept.”

Apollo waved his hand again, and a warm, sunny glow surrounded Leo. When it faded, she looked different. Her hair was longer, coffee-colored curls falling over her shoulders. Her hips were a bit wider. She looked down and inspected herself. “I don't know why,” she grumbled, her voice a bit higher than before, “but I expected my tits to be bigger.”

Apollo laughed. “It will take some getting used to. No mortal can be entirely happy with the way they look, and most have to deal with the same body through their whole lives. But these should be more comfortable and easy to live in than the ones you had before.”

“I do feel better,” Leo admitted, smiling tentatively at Jason.

“Good,” Jason said, grinning back.

“If I may, Apollo,” Aphrodite interjected with a perfect smile, “I can't let a group of such lovely young ladies go home dressed like this.” She blew a kiss, and suddenly the three girls wore far more feminine clothes. Jason wore a flowy, lavender sundress that went past her knees, and a purple cardigan covered her arms and was buttoned across her chest. Her scuffed sneakers were replaced by purple buckled wedge shoes that matched her cardigan. Some gold jewelry completed the outfit—a couple of necklaces, a bracelet. Jason couldn't help it. She had to twirl the skirt once.

Then, she looked up at her friends. The sides of Leo’s pretty curls were tied back in a red ribbon. She wore a knee length sleeveless red dress and red pumps, her face touched up with magical makeup like Piper’s had been on the day she was claimed.

Piper hadn’t been spared. She was beauty blessed once again, this time in a very cute deep blue dress and mid-calf brown leather boots. Her hair was magically combed and cleaned and her braids were fixed. “Mother,” she said in protest, “do you ever get tired of dressing me up like a Barbie doll at random?”

“I’m afraid not, sweetie,” Aphrodite said. “You look lovely, my dears,” she added, now addressing the three of them. “Now, I believe you are free to go.”

The rest of the Argo II crew waited at the doors of the Olympus elevator. Jason was nervous about whether the others would recognize her. What would they say? Piper led her by the hand down the path. Leo walked behind them, mumbling about not being sure how to walk in her new heels.

“Hey, guys,” Piper greeted the group. “Crazy day, huh?”

Everyone looked between Jason and Leo, puzzled.

“Um…” Percy frowned. “Where did…wait.” He locked eyes with Jason, studying her face. “Jason?”

Jason smiled shyly. “It's me.”

“What happened back there?” Annabeth asked, worried.

Piper explained what happened with Apollo and Aphrodite, and Leo and Jason assured the others that this was a good thing. They were happier now.

“So this is just…a thing?” Percy asked. “You're both girls now?”

“Yes,” Piper said.

“Okay,” he shrugged. “I guess I’ve seen…weirder things. But do we still call you Jason? And Leo?”

“I could probably be Leah for now,” Leo suggested.

“Oh, I like that,” Piper said.

“What about you?” Percy turned to Jason.

“Um…I’m not sure yet. You can call me Jason until I come up with something better, I suppose.”

Percy nodded. “Sounds good—uh, can I still call you bro?”

Jason smiled. “Sure, bro.”

Percy smiled back. “Cool. Well…congratulations. I’m happy for both of you. And you look great. Jason, you look like Rapunzel with that dress, I like it.”

“Right?” Piper said. “And Leah, you’re adorable. I love the ribbon my mom put in your hair, it's so cute.”

“Yeah,” Annabeth agreed, “I love that color on you, too.”

“Aw, shucks, Annie,” Leah grinned. “Thanks.”

“I mean it,” Annabeth assured.

“Hey, um,” Frank said, “this is really interesting, what's happening right now, but can we talk in the elevator? I’d like to get back to camp soon.”

“Yeah, Frank’s right,” Piper said. “Come on, everyone. Let's go home.” She took Jason’s hand again, and Jason couldn't help grinning at her.
