How do you do your anatomy when it comes to drawing? And how do you figure out your poses ? Your art is literally so good! And your style is so pretty ^^

start tracing im not joking

ok i am joking i dont mean line for line, but if you have trouble looking at a reference and trying to replicate it on your own dont feel like you need to keep doing it that way there's hundreds of methods, mine includes drawing on the reference itself!!

(speaking from personal experience, although it makes great practice and isn't a bad method at all, i find it significantly harder to have a picture next to me and just start drawing what im seeing.)

for my steph drawing and some others, i tend to have a reference and draw over it on a separate layer to block out all the significant parts. To help you visualize, for me its basically like giving the ref an x ray. i block in the ribcage and which angle its facing, shoulder muscles, bones, things like that.

(sorry ill include a visual reference later i accidentally clicked answer too early ijbol)

ahh and poses you'll find so many references on Pinterest...sometimes i can think of poses on my own but i like to get inspiration from there. Other than that sometimes i just get lucky and get the pose/anatomy right lol. I never went out of my way to study anatomy extensively, a lot of the time you just keep drawing and looking at references and notice how some things are always the same so it just gets stuck in your memory!!
