Headcanons of how would Gale, Wyll, Halsin, Astarion, Raphael, Rolan, and Zevlor react to his gn s/o telling them how lucky they are to be with him?
- CV-Non
Sounds so sweet!!
Masterlist 10
Gale
Those big brown puppy dog eyes are glistening when you tell him in the most intimate, private setting
Saying something back like “no, it’s I who don’t deserve you”
Raphael
He thinks it’s sweet of you to say, a charming element to the naïveté and devotion you’ve given him
Halsin
Kind of similar reaction to Gale’s but in his own way
Pulls you in for a tight hug/deep kiss, “by the Oakfather, I never would have imagined one such as you in my life”
Rolan
Has a hard time trying to believe you at first (poor dude 💔)
But comes to accept your words, knowing you’re not teasing him or anything, and accepting that you genuinely love and cherish him
Astarion
If he’s trying to be snarky back, he fails immensely! Truth be told, he’s lost in his feelings when you tell him because it’s genuine
Zevlor
Such a softie for you, and saying this is just the cherry on top! He’ll return the sentiment by roping you into him with his tail for a tight hug
Wyll
Like the Disney prince he is, it’s a hand kiss or romantically sweeping you away so he can look you in the eyes
“And I could have never imagined you in my wildest dreams, my love”

absolutely, completely and in all other ways OUTRAGED that @wearewatcher did not include dr. heinz doofenshmirtz on their list of disney dilfs.
is he technically from disney channel? yeah. does that matter? no. is he better than pongo and maurice and king triton? absolutely.
and i will tell you why.
as we all know, doofenshmirtz had a horrible upbringing:
-his own parents didnt show up for his birth -he had to throw his own surprise party -big black boots boris the bully kicked sand in his face -a kid outshined him at a science fair with a baking soda volcano -his mom wouldnt let him swim in pools -his dad won a dog and said it was the son he never had and named it only son -had to wear dresses to school -he smelled like pork ?? idk this one doesnt get explained -his brother was better at kickball than him -his brother got the teddy bear he got out of a claw machine and it ruined the family dynamic -he couldn't make pretzels -he failed as a magician -his first date was ruined -he lost a girl to a dude with big hands -has no coordination -accidentally ended up in america? -lived with a family of ocelots ??? -he had to be a garden gnome -was always thwarted and outshined by his brother roger
yea you get the idea
but does he pass any of this down to his daughter, vanessa??
no! he does not!
-he actually takes his daughters advice -he is a fantastic single dad and makes a good life for her (and supports her being goth. very important.) -he is civil with his ex wife also (which helps vanessas childhood) -he brings vanessa to work and tries to bring her into the family business -he wants his inators to be fun for her as a learning experience -he always gives her extravagant birthday parties !!! esp her sweet 16!!! -he does not direct his negative feelings towards his daughter ever, its always towards perry -he spends 10 years looking for a discontinued mary mcguffin doll!!! for her!!
and so on
instead of being horribly to his daughter he rather brilliantly uses his arch nemesis (perry the platypus) as a free therapist (rather ingenious in this economy) and channels his childhood trauma into creating his inators in order to take over the tri state area.
so hes definitely dedicated, knows his way around a toolbox and programming (valuable skills in the technology age), broke through the stigma of generational and childhood trauma, and hes just a little bit evil. as a treat. at least in terms of ryans criteria he is a fantastic dad. and that is what we are judging the dilfs on.
so in conclusion. @wearewatcher. why isnt dr. heinz doofenshmirtz on the top 5 disney dilfs list???
#not a tag#from saph#i spent way too long on this#i apologize#no i do not want to fuck doofenshmirtz#i have my own boyfriend#top 5 beat down#watcher#ryan bergara#shane madej

Gale Reviews: Deadpool & Wolverine
(Thanks @knightsweeties for the GP Wolverine art)
Now I happen to be a fan of the merc with the mouth. And so when I found out there would be a 3rd movie I was hyped. When I found out Disney was producing it … less hyped. Mainly because Disney has been hit or miss with superhero movies after Endgame.
But having watched it, And letting my bias die down I can tell you exactly how I feel about this as a movie.
For this review I will be covering the following.
The Plot,
The characters
The “Meta”
The Choreography
The Lesson
Final thoughts.
____________________________________________
The Plot
When it comes to Deadpool, plots are meant to be simple in order to allow for all the shenanigans. Deadpool and Wolverine is a movie that sounds like it will be complicated but is actually surprisingly straight forward.
Wade/Deadpool finds himself in a funk after his shenanigans in the previous movie and failing to join the avengers.
But despite that, he still has a good amount of people in his life. And they celebrate his birthday.
Suddenly the TVA (Time variance authority) appears and pulls him in. Where Paradox tells him he’s being pulled into the main timeline. Deadpool is hyped because it means he gets to be a hero again!
But he finds out that his timeline is dying because the “Anchor being” is dead. Turns out it’s the Wolverine from the Logan movie. And because of this Paradox decides instead of waiting for that timeline to decay he would use a timeripper to destroy it. (A literal time bomb)
Deadpool then goes to try and revive Wolverine. Which he digs up his corpse, and TVA agents appear. (This is the actual start of the film) Deadpool uses Logan’s corpse to kill the TVA agents.
Deadpool then starts traveling the multiverse for different Wolverines (each one beating the s*** out of Wade) before finding the Wolverine that would accompany him for the rest of the movie.
He returns to the TVA to find out that he picked up the Worst Wolverine and that this isn’t how Anchor beings work.
The duo gets tossed into the void. Where they are supposed to get eaten by the Alioth. (Deadpool points out what episode of the show it’s from.) Deadpool and Wolverine meet a bunch of characters thrown into the void (all from 20th century Fox movies) where they eventually meet the main Villain Cassandra nova, Professor Xavier’s twin sister that was removed from the timeline as a baby because she was dangerous.
The duo barely escape and travel to find the “Resistance” in order to fight Cassandra and escape the void.
There they meet Electra, Blade, Gambit (from the unaired tv show), and X-23. The one from Logan.
They eventually go back to fight Cassandra and after a failed assassination attempt on her life by Pyro who was hired by the TVA. DP and Wolverine manage to get back to DP’s Timeline.
Unfortunately Cassandra Also shows up because she is salty with Paradox and decides to use the time ripper to give herself the power to destroy every timeline
Deadpool and Wolverine end up fighting an army of Deadpool variants before being saved by Peter.
They stop the Time ripper with the power of friendship and because of that Cassandra Nova gets ripped apart and Paradox gets arrested by the TVA’s Hunter B-15.
Deadpool gets his timeline restored. Wolverine ends up becoming part of DP’s friend group and it ends with Deadpool reconciling with Vanessa.
Overall it sounds complicated but the movie always does a decent job explaining anything that the viewer would be confused by without slowing down the movie pace. It fits very inline with the Deadpool movie plot lines. Though some scenes did drag on and some things felt like padding. It was a solid plot.
8/10
__________________________________________
The Characters
Deadpool: Ryan Reynolds does arguably his best performance of DP in this movie. I felt like the balance of plot and parody was in top form. There was never a scene where I said “Deadpool wouldn’t do that.” Solid performance and is the most fitting actor for the hero they are portraying. 10/10
Wolverine: Hugh Jackman is the best at what he does and he plays most of the Wolverine variants. His performance as Wolverine in this is second only to his performance in Logan. I love the reveal that this was X man Origins Wolverine. Turning one of my least favorite movies into something I can enjoy. 9/10
Cassandra nova: Emma Corrine’s performance of Xavier’s crazy sister is solid. I love how absolutely vile she is. She is vicious, petty, unhinged and manipulative. You understand why SHE is a threat. And her unhinged mannerisms explain why she doesn’t just kill people right away. She loves to toy with them. But the best part is, her plan is a reaction. If paradox had left her alone, she wouldn’t have even bothered leaving the Void. I love that part. It’s very Maleficent of her. 8/10
Mr.Paradox: he is exactly what you would expect, a disgruntled employee that thinks he knows better than everyone else. He’s slimey, cowardly and thinks he’s smarter than he is. His name also fitting how much of a contradiction he is. He claims he’s doing what’s best for the TVA, yet is going behind their back to do his plan. And his ending scene is *chef’s kiss*. 8/10
The Resistance: Blade, Elektra, X-23, and Gambit are all phenomenal characters. The way they play off of Wade and Wolverine is some solid banter. Though the break out for me was Channing tatum’s gambit. But all of them had their moments. 9/10
Deadpool Corps: From Dogpool to Headpool.I loved each variant of Deadpool. I even liked Nicepool who had the funniest death. Lady Deadpool being portrayed by Blake Lively. And baby pool and kidpool being portrayed by Blake and Ryan’s kids. Lovely. Though Peggy’s performance as Dogpool was AWE-inspiring! Stealing every scene she was in. I think the DP variants were in all the scenes they needed to be in. Not over used. 9/10
Blind Al: Leslie Uggams gives another amazing performance. Top tier and the best character in the movie. Just as important to the Deadpool franchise as Deadpool and Peter. 10/10
Peter: Rob Delaney crushing his role as Peter. He is used the perfect amount. No notes. 10/10
Overall the rest of the supporting cast and cameos were all solid and the casting could not be better.
9/10
__________________________________________
The “Meta”
Deadpool is no stranger to 4th wall breaks. But this is the first movie where the Meta is such a huge part of the plot. The references and used assets of previous movies and shows make up 90% of the movie. Now I want to say that this isn’t distracting… but it kind of is. It makes the film just feel like a 2+ hour 4th wall break. And for some people, that can be jarring.
For me, I enjoyed it and I was expecting it. But to those going in expecting a typical marvel movie. It’s not that.
That being said I like how even if you didn’t know about the properties you can get enough of an explanation to follow what’s going on. I haven’t been keeping up with everything marvel so there were some things I didn’t know. The movie rewards you the more you watched the things it references, but it rarely penalizes your enjoyment if you don’t.
Overall I thought the Meta was fine but a few tweaks could have made it better.
7/10
______________________________________
The Choreography.
This is the best fight scenes I’ve seen in the franchise.
All the fights have interesting gimmicks or styles that it never feels repetitive. It always has something new, gives great drama and suspense. And the fight in the Toyota is one of the most fun fights in marvel.
And that opening sequence maybe my favorite in the franchise.
And that Climax (I almost cried)
Absolutely no notes
10/10
____________________________________________
The lesson
I know how shocking this sounds, but yes, this does have a lesson. It actually has 2 lessons.
The first we learn from Deadpool. That purpose does not need to be grand. To be a hero you only need to protect those you love, cherish your world and you will never falter. Or simply put. Realizing how much one Matters.
The second lesson is Wolverine, that mistakes and failures do not need to define us. We can change, we can grow, we can be better. Redemption, or in a way the opposite of Wade’s issue. The past doesn’t need to matter if you focus on the future.
Both lessons are shown by both characters (especially in the climax) such a solid character growth for both characters. (And the matter and Antimatter convergence)
8/10
_________________________________________
Final thoughts
The movie for me is an 8.5/10
I loved the movie for what it is. It is a bit clunky at some points. But the heart of the characters is there. The movie has a soul, something I felt was lacking from Marvel since endgame. The movie jokes that it’s the marvel messiah. I also think they made the joke in bad taste (disrespecting the man upstairs)
Though if they do believe that this movie could save marvel, I honestly can’t say it’s true. But I can say it’s my favorite marvel movie post endgame. Just barely beating out No way home.

i'm kinda new to the chuggington fandom. i used to own the episodes on dvd but idk where they went. anyway! I figured it'd be cool to hear the thoughts of someone invested in the show, to get a new perspective on it, so i myself could become more invested! do you have any thoughts you'd share to an amateur train appreciator??
OMGOSH 👀 👀 👀 👀 👀WELCOME ABOARD!!!!! 🚅🚄🚈🚃🚂🚂🚂😄😄😄
I've been into the show since 2011-2012 I think... pretty sure before Cars 2 came out- or maybe after... memory's a bit rough in that area. I was first exposed to the show by my younger cousin who watched it on Disney Junior, or at the time, Playhouse Disney, and also had the DVD Let's Ride The Rails, which I now own, playing in my auntie's van one morning on our way to school. I would later track down Disney Junior myself to find the show.
It was pretty much the main reason I've hung around Disney Junior. As a kid who loved trains because of already being a Thomas The Tank Engine fan, it just to captured my interest so quickly and I was hooked.
I'd say the characters and designs are mostly what I love about Chuggington. While there aren't really antagonists in the show they all have their own quirks and distinction from each other which balances it out well.
Wilson is both my favorite to draw and favorite overall. While I haven't gotten to making my own scripts for my planned fanseries yet, his ADHD personality is just pure spirit animal energy when I look at how he's characterized by the show and by myself. I also relate to him to an extent in some areas. He's practically my son lol
The episodes are mostly well written, and miles better than Thomas was at the time... (*COUGH* SHARON MILLER *COUGH*)
Chris McHale's music for the show some of the most unique I've ever heard and the fact we don't have more of the show's score available in high quality than we do is a crime.
Production slowly went to hell since Season 3 onwards, due to investors pulling out for unknown reasons, resulting in S3 being cut from 26 to 14 episodes, Season 4 being rushed and strictly formulated towards the advanced training agenda, (but the episodes were not by any means terrible) and S5, while better than S4, was entirely funded by TOMY resulting in only 10 episodes. After that, Ludorum Entertainment was on the verge of bankruptcy resulting in the show being on hiatus for five years until Herschend Entertainment purchased them, but things weren't that much better.
Season 6 or Tales From The Rails is sadly where Chuggington truly dropped in quality due to Herschend's low budget and their inexperience with the show. Many characters and locations were written off and a number of the voice actor recasts were not too great. Not to mention occasional mischaracterization (mostly Brewster), continuity errors and overall rather shifty writing quality. The merchandise also plummeted in quality and the pandemic caused several delays, and this whole disaster ultimately led to Season 7 being cancelled as of November last year... 😔
While Season 6 was a failed comeback and is NOT fit to be regarded as canon to the first 5 seasons, it still has a decent number of episodes that are good to okay enough at best, and I do plan on rewriting the misfires of season 6 at some point.
Despite all the hardship this show faced, production, performance, and reception-wise, Chuggington is still very much an enjoyable and mostly solid series. I commend both Ludorum and Herschend for not going down without a fair fight and I've very much grown to love the show just as much as Thomas.
To the point where Thomas content is not my top priority anymore and hasn't been for some time now, seeing as thousands of people do Thomas content already while Chuggington content is very scarce and slow going, even with more people finally appreciating and warming up to it, since there's far worse out there nowadays... media ain't what it used to be so good f---ing luck... 😑
With all the moping and mourning aside, thank you so much for joining us, you don't know how much it means to me to have another person hyperfixating on this underated and criminally disregarded series, but it's important to remember that you don't choose the hyperfixation. The hyperfixation chooses you >:3
I am an artist, editor and headcanon writer, and slowly pushing to write up my own fanseries which takes place after S5, and I even have my own roster of original characters and locations in progress, one OC I've already revealed, and another that was actually created by a Tumblr buddy of mine, @lomotunes2008.
So make sure you follow my art account, @masterjarthub - with notifications on, cuz I may pump out surprises over there!
But for until then, welcome to The Chugger Cult! 🚂🚄🚅🚈😄😄😎😎
Enjoy your stay. 😊

Okay, I'm pretty stressed with three tests next week (in three consecutive days) I wanted to upload something but I don't have the energy to finish any of my sketches, so I decided to upload this old drawing. I did the sketch before my digital pencil failed, so I decided to finish it using the mouse… I didn't like how it turned out, and I haven't had time to redraw it now with my modern pencil^^'
Anyway, this is just a quick idea of how the Goof-Mallard would look like 10 years after "Unstoppable" (calculating, Tim would be 16, Audrey 8 and Olivia 4 approx^^'). I based Timothy's superhero costume on some Disney comic covers (I don't remember the name) buuuut I wasn't satisfied with the design so it's just a beta version^^' Drawing things like this is relaxing… but it's HORRIBLE to draw it with the mouse because on top of that you're not satisfied with the result^^'
“Unstoppable” is based on “Geronimo Saga” by @rebellingstagnationblog

Before the Summer Ends...
Featured content: Bungo Stray Dogs Characters: Atsushi Nakajima, Osamu Dazai, Ranpo Edogawa, Akiko Yosano, Edgar Allan Poe GN reader
Headcanons of what YOU and your favorite character are doing before the Summer ends...
Atsushi Nakajima
You guys probably did some lively outdoor activities
This can include taking your pet cat weretiger on a walk🥺
I honestly can't help but see you guys going fishing at some point🤔
you guys created a kite together and definitely tried flying! But it failed the first time :(
Don't like going outside? That's okay, you guys would also stay inside and tried making s'mores together!
If it was him deciding the date during the summer, he probably went on Google and looked at those "75 Fun things to do over the Summer" pages
Kyoka definitely joined you guys sometimes, like when y'all are taking walks haha..
Imagine you and Atsushi were together and he suddenly got the confidence to kiss you and then Kyoka shows up💀 SHE WASN'T TRYING TO RUIN IT
Atsushi is the father, you are the mother/second father, and Kyoka is your child
Osamu Dazai
He's definitely the type to wake you up at 4 in the morning to randomly tell you that y'all are going on a road trip💀
NO FURTHER EXPLANATION JUST PACK AND LEAVE
he took you guys to a hill to have a nice picnic and see the scenery
But soon tried to have a double suicide with you there... That bastard😒
OML HE WOULD DEFINITELY TAKE YOU TO A GIANT MUSIC FESTIVAL
I think he'd also take you to explore Yokohama a little more. He definitely knows the city well so he'd know the right places to take you
After all the crazy stuff, he's going to just stay on the couch and not move whether you like it or not. I mean, you can cuddle him of course. He's just too tired to move
Watch a movie/Reading a book/Writing an article/doing whatever while he's laying his head on your lap PLAY WITH HIS FLUFFY HAIR
Oh, let's not forget you guys are doing SUMMER EDITION pranks on Kunikida.
Messing with his schedule SUMMER EDITION.
Ranpo Edogawa
He doesn't want to go anywhere >:(
It took a lot of convincing but you guys went to the beach together
But he's just going to sit under the umbrella eating a Popsicle
OR HES BUILDING A SANDCASTLE
WATER GUN FIGHT.
Watching a movie while he's eating all the snacks and sharing like 10% of it
You guys are watching classic Disney movies. like Nemo, Toy Story, Rapunzel, etc.
Fun board game tournaments he always won in the logic and strategy ones😭
OMG YOU GUYS WENT TO THE AQUARIUM WITH POE😳 threesome when?
If you try taking photos together during the Summer he'll either tell you to hurry up or whine and refuse because he thinks it's boring and a waste of time😒 but he'll do it in the end just for you
Akiko Yosano
GOING SHOPPING TOGETHER❤️
SUMMER FASHION MONTAGE.
Taking walks near the beach while holding hands
You guys went to an art museum together and bought some souvenirs for eachother
Making a summer playlist of eachother
Going on a picnic while watching the sunset/sunrise
You guys tried making homemade ice cream.... It was a flop😭
WINE TASTING EVENT BETWEEN YOU TWO
let's be for real.... Y'all went styling to a casino and had fun
Edgar Allan Poe + Karl
The most obvious would be you two cuddling with maybe Karl joining it took a lot of convincing for Poe to do it.
PLAY WITH HIS FLUFFY HAIR. I REPEAT. PLAY WITH THE FLUFFY HAIR. it makes him feel all warm inside🤭
Since he came from America and doesn't know a lot about Yokohama, you're his free tour guide (or payment is just kisses and cuddles)
He probably doesn't want to do top much outside honestly
Making a romantic dinner together🥺
He's reading you his poetry🙏😳
You guys tried doing dancing together while some music played in the background
He went to grab something from the groceries real quick so you and Karl just partied and did father/mother son activities together in under like 15 minutes
He DEFINITELY had to ask Ranpo for help on what to do. Ranpo is like "idk do whatever ig" WHICH DID NOT HELP😭

Bad Ideas of the Day Part 8 - The Ocho
Part 8 of the series of my occasional roundup of my bad ideas of the day from the D20 Fanfic Discord, as always the link back to the prior one is available here and as always anyone who wants to do something with these ideas is moreeeee than welcome to do so, though I'd love to hear about it!
This list contains spoilers for FHJY through current as of writing (episode 10) as many of the ideas on this edition involve events from this season; I've put it below the read more for that reason. Some of the ideas mark where spoilers are contained up through.
Bad Idea of the Day, Trust Issues Edition, FHJY spoilers through episode four: Fabian, wanting to cash out but not wanting to give Chungledown Bim 18 million gold pieces, tries to find a convincing nemesis who the bank will believe and who will use the money they get in a way that won't bother him, such as to further shitting in his mouth. He finds someone who both has a history that often leads to nemesis-dom and is willing to commit major financial crimes for money: His ex-girlfriend, Aelwyn Abernant. Now, they just need to stage a public enough fight to get her on the list before he cashes out…
Bad idea of the day, Total Party Kill edition: The bad kids and Aelwyn cut a little TOO loose during the fight at Ostentatia's, and instead of nobody getting THAT hurt during the timestop they actually collapse the house on top of all the hudol kids inside, landing all of them in a world of trouble BEFORE they can meet up with Biz…
Bad idea of the day, 'fake' dating edition: Kristen decides that she can maybe make her parents okay with her being a lesbian if she starts off with the worst possible partner for her parents and then backs down to just a normal girl like Tracker. So she asks her friendly local tiefling to come with her to a family dinner as her girlfriend…
Bad idea of the day, the beauty of nature edition: On a trip to the far haven woods to spy on the ratgrinders, Adaine is alarmed to discover that as she grows up the Oracle becomes imbibed with full disney princess powers, and it is very difficult to go about one's business sneakily when all the trees and wildlife are constantly singing to her as she goes
Bad Idea of the Day, spoilers through JY episode 5 edition: In the middle of a fight of gods at the mall, one man whose soul truly represents the very worst the mall has to offer appears, immune to the rage from the stars, wielding a comically large sword and looking like a reject from the Armour Zombie and Lich catalogue: One Cody Walsh.
Bad idea of the day part two, I can't believe I forgot about this detail from the Seven edition: The Ministry of Adventure, in a timeline where their shit isn't pushed in by the Seven, send one of their honeytrap agents to try to ensnare one of the brightest up and coming adventurers in all of Solace. Then, when that one fails, they send another, and another. How is eligible bachelor detective Riz Gukgak seeing through all of their schemes, they wonder?
Bad idea of the day, reclassification edition, JY spoilers through six: In a determination to make certain Kristen can stay in school even without a god, the Bad Kids look for another class to fit Kristen into. Can she try out for Rogue or Fighter or anything else without stabbing herself with her -3 dex?
Bad idea of the day, backup escape routes edition, spoilers through episode 5 of Junior Year: Instead of being bailed out by Connor Counterspell, the Bad Kids are forced to take a different exit from the Mall of the Synod of Spyre through the only obvious portal: The one into the strudel dimension in Oodles of Strudels. There, they find themselves in not just a strudel dimension, but in fact an entire plane of pastry, including a giant octopus-esque monster who is very angry with Adaine in particular as the strudel she has been chopping has been one of its tendrils. Can they survive long enough for Adaine to hit level 13 and get Plane Shift, or will they fall to the forces of the Pop-Tart King?
Bad idea of the day, impractical bard forms edition: Encouraged towards something that is 'respectable' and in which her 'lack of wizardly talent' won't be as much of an impediment, Adaine ends up a bard of visual arts. Specifically, oil paintings. Can she be a useful party member with a form of bardic work in which even a simple spell takes an hour, just because it's the sort of thing that's okay in Fallinel's high society?
Bad idea of the day, soulmates edition: Every pirate gets a birthmark that appears within the first few years of their life indicating the highest rank they'll ever hold on a crew. Bill Seacaster's heart is crushed when his darling boy Fabian's birthmark appears and indicates that he'll never be higher than a First Mate.
Bad idea of the day, courtesy of tumblr edition: Adaine, party wizard, has a sister with crazy drug dealing stories and a dad with crazy drug dealing stories and a need for cash. Who could have seen, when she started drug dealing at parties, that it would end in crazy stories and pain?
Bad idea of the day, Fantasy High edition, spoilers through episode 7 JY: The bad kids do, in fact, do drugs at the party, and there's a fight to the death with Grix during the assembly instead of happening later. Can they rally the other students to not be cowards for once?
Bad idea of the day, stop spreading the news edition: Pete and Maddy lead a strike force against the evil wizard who is running the New York Times and using it to spread all sorts of hate and propaganda, especially on a personal level to them the transphobia.
Bad idea of the day, Aguefort didn't know what he was doing REALLY edition: After the murder-suicide in the cafeteria, left with nobody but the corpses of three staff members and some other confused freshmen, Gorgug Thistlespring and Kristen Applebees are brought back from the dead… Shame their souls went into the wrong bodies, isn't it?
Bad idea of the day, wizard tomes editions: Less a plot idea and more just a general notion, we need more cursed items, and in particular here I'm thinking cursed spellbooks. Give Adaine a book that seers knowledge out of her brain, or reverses portent rolls to be the opposite of what she thinks she's doing, maybe (Though actually on that latter note - it would be EXTREMELY on the nose, should Adaine ever become a follower of Cassandra, if her portents stopped working as she became only able to see the worst that was to come but not prevent it.)
Bad idea of the day, keep your friends close and your frenemies closer edition: In the time in between The Unsleeping City 1 and 2, an insurance investigator comes knocking about a very suspicious house fire. Sofia thinks she'll be fine… until she realizes that the investigator is also going to ask Ricky, as the heroic firefighter who first responded to the scene. Can she train Ricky into convincingly lying, or will she be visiting that famous New York prison of Riker's Island?
Bad idea of the day, class swap secret santa edition: Following a decree from Arthur Aguefort that students are too reluctant to try new things and they should dabble more, every student at the Adventuring Academy is required to try out a class they have not previously attended for two weeks that the rest of their party secretly votes on without consulting each other. What will each Bad Kid be stuck doing, and can everyone else figure out a class they're certain Fig has never snuck into?
Bad idea of the day, stunning strike edition: Realizing that they're being exploited by a system that risks their lives and pays them only with grades, not money, for saving the world, the students of Aguefort go on strike. Can they remain united in the face of the Ministry of Adventure and their union-busting assassination squads?

"Are you sure all of those tricks will work?"
"Of course they will. DeShawn folds every time after just one. My guess is Jai will melt like puddy in your hands just as fast."
The girls quickly wrapped their boys 101 cram class as the start of dinner approached.
"Now remember, stay confident, coy, but not too coy, coquetish, but not overtly sexual, and laugh at all his jokes, but with a giggle, not too over the top. And for the love of Watcher do not snort. It's not cute"
"Oh gee, I'm never going to remember all that." Cordie moaned.
"If all else fails, bat your eyelashes. It doesn't work with every girl, but you got those big disney princess eyes. Any guy would fold over those."
"Wait, you never told me my eyes were huge. Oh no, what if I look like an alien?"
"Cordie, babes, dial up the chill. You're fine"
"You look super cute, Jai's going to fall all over himself for you, and you'll officially have your very first kiss."
"You think so?"
"I know so! Now give me a hug, I'm meeting D at his place for a study date while his mom works and the rest of his folks are here tonight."
"Since when do you study outside of school?" Cordie looked at her BFF suspicously.
"Since I got a new stick of fruity delicious lip gloss I really want to test drive. Now no more questions. Hugs, hugs now!"
"OK." Cordie giggled as she gave her best friend the biggest hug ever.
"Now my mother believes I'm studying at the library with a tutoring group, so—"
"I'll text you 10 minutes before the Reynolds are about to head out so you can make your way home without getting caught."
"Thanks, bestie!" Jordie gave Cordie an extra squeeze.
"But Jord, don't do anything I wouldn't do, and if you decide to anyway, please use protection."
"First of all, the list of things you wouldn't do is far too long. Second of all, D and I haven't gone all the way yet."
"Really?"
"I have very specific plans worth waiting for."

So I've been listening to Geena Davis' memoir (I have a problem I know) but I now know why Cutthroat didn't do well at the box office!
The studio was already going bankrupt before the film was made and had gone completely by the time the movie came out so there was basically no marketing for the movie. It basically flopped because no one knew about it!
(She also referred to Matthew Modine as adorable, which I thought was sweet)
( Don't worry, I understand you. She is quite awesome!)
Really? I've searched all over youtube every single " why did cutthroat island failed" video analysis and no one was able to explain me this shit?
I guess every single one of those were assholes doing "analysis" in bad faith. Some were blaming it on the director, others on the production costs. Why no one incluided the very important fact that the studio was already bankrupt? It makes all the damn sense now why it wasn't at all the movie's fault, despite what common consensus on online spaces often presents it as.
To mention another case I know well about, keeping a good margin for marketing costs was part of what saved Troy from being a financial failure. It was a critical failure, but not commercial. It managed to make it to number 8 on the top 10 of highest grossing films of 2004. According to what I googled it tecnically made more than Gladiator and 300, but it also costed way more to make. The nightmarish production costs devalued the performance of the film and Warner Bros took it as a meh result.
Marketing would have made the difference: If Cutthroat Island would have been given the amount of marketing the standard Disney blockbuster gets ( like POTC had) it would have been a hit.
(Awwww, that is so cute! Indeed, adorable )

Hi.... If you don't mind me asking, can I ask, what are your top 10 (or top 7) favorite media (can be books/ manga/ anime/movies/tv series/games/etc) and your top 10 favorite characters from any media ? Why do you love them? Sorry if you've answered this questions before or if I accidentally send this ask twice.....
Hi! Sorry I'm super super bad at managing my inbox but I am finally answering you, so sorry it took so long!! pls forgive me
as far as media goes, i dont have a rank order or anything really but here are 10 pieces of media i really enjoy:
i wouldnt say these are my top 10, but just some i really love
fruits basket (anime) - most ive ever cried watching anything. watched this during my last year of high school during the peak of college application season and it altered my brain chemistry forever. i will never be the same
assassination classroom (anime) - watched it in middle school and therefore formed a deep and unhealthy obsession with it, also karma is THAT BITCH. amazing show. also so like oddly sad
new girl (tv) - my favorite television show OF ALL TIME
how to get away with murder (tv) - my favorite televison drama show OF ALL TIME
always sunny (tv) - still watching this one but i LOVE it, shows about fucked up horrible people are my favorite, also i really love and admire their writing style and i really want to embody it on a show someday. definitely a huge writing inspiration for me
arrested development seasons 1-3 (tv) (i liked 4 and 5 but 1-3 are incredible) - again, a show about incredibly terrible people, and also really fucking funny in a weird way. and super clever. i love it

soul eater (anime) - my first anime ever, will love it forever
penguins of madagascar (movie) - i am unironically saying this, i am not fucking with you, this is my favorite animated movie
saturday night live (tv) - a classic. i haven't really traversed past the 21st century but i watch it every weekend without fail.
a special eleventh is A.P. Bio, amazing show never should've been cancelled. objectively i can completely understand why it was canceled bc there wasn't anything really objectively special about it, but by god do i love that show anyway. i rewatch it all the time
honorable mentions: on my block, sex education, the office, community, one day at a time (2017), how i met your mother, parks and rec, disney XD's lab rats (also unironically. great show.)
As for characters:
This is so so hard I've read/watched so so many things, I'm just gonna name the first ten freaks that pop into my head, but in no particular rank order and im definitely forgetting people:
bakugou (bnha) bc obviously. my entire blog is like a shrine to him. i don't need to justify this choice tbh he's the absolute best
chimney (911) he is SOOO me coded and he deserves the world and i think he's deeply underappreciated so i shall appreciate him myself. underappreciated comic relief characters my beloved
schmidt from new girl. my boy. my king. THE #1 MASTER OF CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. i love him so so much
chandler from friends .... extremely self explanatory (also, see chimney. very similar reasons)
kyo (fruits basket) he means a lot to me. i wish him all the best in life although tbh he did canonically win in life so go him
connor walsh (how to get away with murder) i LOVE him. so much. he's so fucked up but i think hes done nothing wrong ever
death the kid (soul eater) LOVE OF MY LIFE. ABSOLUTE ICON

every other main character in new girl. i love them all so much
honorable mentions: annalise keating (htgawm), ochako uraraka (bnha), bobby nash (911), dwight schrute (the office), and probably many many more amazing characters who i simply am forgetting

I've been tagged by @pazithigallifreya ! There's no one I can think of offhand to tag so just do it if you want to
1 How many works do you have on AO3? Aaahhh, well, the official number appears to be 5. I have some scattered orphans out there somewhere.
2. What’s your total AO3 word count? 262,523. Officially. If you were to track down everything I've orphaned it might go up a bit.
3. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
Good sir, I only have written five fanfictions, so I'll just stick to the top one
Schrodinger's Hobbit
Ah yes, the one that was posted on a regular schedule and has characters people care about in the tags, giving readers a ghost of a chance to discover it and give it a 'well it's about gollum but I'm desperate for pippin' click
4. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
In theory, yes. In practice, if I don't reply to a comment as soon as I see it, I sometimes forget to go back and reply because I've tricked myself into thinking I already have. Because I usually reply right away, you see.
Fortunately I do eventually see the comment as unreplied to in my inbox and circle back to it.
However, sometimes if there's no question posed and a simple 'thank you' doesn't seem to apply I honestly can't think of an answer and will just appreciate the person in silence.
5. What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?
Uh, well, there's... oh, there's this one that's orphaned somewhere on AO3! it ends with Gollum learning how to eat people
I think I also wrote something once where it ended on a guy going 'oh no I am going to go insane just like my mother' but I don't know if it still exists anywhere.
6. What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?
Maybe Schrodinger's Hobbit? It ends with Aragorn saying 'Gollum isn't going to jail and we're just going to keep him' which is a happy ending from one point of view (Gollum's)
I usually just stop writing stories at the point where they stop being interesting.
7. Do you write crossovers?
The answer is no except for the time I did a crossover webcomic between two games no one cares about.
The first really ambitious fanfiction project I did was some kind of three way crossover with tons of canon/oc shipping and it was so bad.
Also there's a thing on my account that's technically a crossover but it's between Disney properties, which are already just one big lump.
8. Have you ever received hate on a fic?
There's a TVTropes page out there with people railing about how bad my ambitious fanfiction project with tons of canon/oc shipping was. I am not going to find it for you.
In terms of comments, no, except for the one time I wrote a shipfic in a particularly eccentric fandom. People got bad about that. Oddly enough the people who liked the ship were the ones that got mad. Failed step one.
I've never gotten hate on AO3. (Not yet! 👀) Only the wild west of fanfiction.net and TVtropes.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
I do not.
10. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
I don't think so. I don't monitor for that, though.
11. Have you ever had a fic translated?
I've had some people get permission from me to do translations, but they never told me if they posted anything.
12. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Ahhhh I used to years and years ago. I think one co-written thing is still floating about somewhere on ff.net.
I wouldn't be opposed to trying it again one day if I met someone with a compatible writing style and the circumstances were right, but it's not something I'm seeking out.
13. What’s your all-time favorite ship?
I guess I'm not really that into shipping. Sometimes a ship will catch my interest enough to produce content but there are none I currently find interesting enough to claim as a favorite.
14. What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?
If I haven't finished it by now, I don't want to ;)
15. What are your writing strengths?
I don't feel well-equipped to judge my own work, so I will go off of what other people have said about me, which is always a great method for determining your self-concept.
A bunch of different people have said independently of each other that I'm good at characterization and dialog, so it's probably at least partially true.
16. What are your writing weaknesses?
Oh I don't know how to write a plot.
17. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?
There are so many different ways that could be done that this question feels too general to answer.
18. What was the first fandom you wrote for?
Lilo & Stitch. Almost 20 years ago now! The Internet has changed a LOT since then.
19. What’s a fandom/ship you haven’t written for yet but want to?
I'd like to try writing original fiction- wait, come back! Come back!
20. What’s your favorite fic you’ve written?
Oh, now, that's hardly fair. You expect me to READ these things?

20 question for writers tag game
tagged by @taumoebaa Thank you! 🥰
1. Total number of ao3 works?
105, apparently.
2. Total ao3 word count
1,154,048 That... a lot of worde o.O
3. Fandoms I've written in
Fandoms I've published in are: How to train your dragon Zelda Miraculous Ladybug The Empyrean - Fourth Wing Pokemon Stardew Valley But I also wrote many unfinished fics, for fandoms like Final Fantasy VII & VIII, Crescent City, ACOTAR, Starcrossed (Josephine Angelini), and Divergent.
4. Top 5 fics by kudos
Okay, this feels a bit ridiculous... 😆 1. When Three Wrongs Make One right. (1449) (ML) 2. For The Love Of A Princess (709) (HTTYD) 3. Keeping The Facade (701) (ML) 4. Resurrection (615) (HTTYD/MCU) 4. My Kingdom. My Throne. my Queen. (317) (The Empyrean) 5. Part of our 'us' (311) (The Empyrean) I crossed out Resurrection because I didn't write this one, I was just one of the alpha-readers. But this shows so well how little Kudos really say about a fic. The two Miraculous fics there? I love them, but especially Keeping The Facade is just a cute/angsty little smutshot for a (relative) rarepair. That fandom is/was just so huge that the hits/Kudos catapult it up there to the top. In comparisson, FTLOAP is my big epic story, close to 400k words, many years of planning and writing. That just doesn't measure up.
5. Do I respond to comments?
I try to, yes. I just have this thing where I only respond to comments (in longer stories) when I'm about to post the followup-chapter. Which leads to... some comments never getting answers when I fail to keep writing. Or comments on previous chapters getting lost in my inbox. 😶
6. What has the angstiest ending?
Thats's difficult. 🤔 I don't even remember all my fics anymore. 😅 But I think that must be 'Follow Your Heart', at least without the (optional) sequals.
7. What has the happiest ending?
I feel like all my fics (with few exceptions) end on a lovely happy fluffy note. That's just my thing, and trying to pin down which is the happiest doesn't work.
8. Have I received hate?
Oh, yes! Some years ago, there as a dedicated Anon in the HTTYD fandom, who methodically attacked every writer who didn't write their fav couple as 'pure' as they wanted them to be. They would write loooong and elaborate comments about aaaaaaall the things we as writers did wrong and how that clearly reflects how awful people we are in RL. The fandom banded together to drive them away, but... those there some rough months.
9. Do I write smut? And what kind?
YES! I love writing (and reading) smut. 😁 There's always an underlying tone of emotions and devotion and love in my smut, even or especially when I dive into BDMS and D/s dynamics.
10. Do I write crossovers?
Not really. There are fics in my list that are 'tagged' as crossover, but they're really just characters from one fandom slipping into the world of another. Like modern AUs, in a way, or the [Hiccup=the doctor, Eret=Capt. Jack Harkness, Astrid=T.A.R.D.I.S.] thing I once wrote. Or random (disney) characters showing up as background characters in some httyd fics.
11. Have I ever had a fic stolen?
No, thankfully not. Or at least I'm not aware of it. But someone once stole one of my AMVs, and it felt awful.
12. Have I ever had a fic translated?
Someone once asked me for permission to translate one of my fics. But in the middle of it, their government shut down the fanfic platform they were using, so they never finished the tranlsation.
13. Have I ever co-written a fic?
I have! Though never in an equal share. I've helped and received help in the form of alpha reading, which at some points feels like co-writing (but isn't). And I wrote a fic with a friend (though not under my general name 😅) where I would contribute full chapters here and there after we talked about the general plot points. That was so much fun! 🥰
14. What is my all-time fave ship?
I don't think this is a question I can answer. Maybe I can say that Hiccstrid is the ship that had the biggest influence on my life, for various reasons, but naming them my all-time fave would diminish what I feel about other important ships.
15. A WIP I'll never finish
Uh... probably too many to count. But I can say for certain that I'll never finish 'Astrid's Diary'. It was a POV fic, the first HTTYD movie and the TV show from Astrid's POV. But the background story I had in mind died a quiet sad death with the release of more seasons, and I lost interest in either writing my version or adapting it to the new canon.
16. Writing strengths?
Dialogues and emotions, or so I've been told.
17. Writing weaknesses?
Descriptions of places, how something looks. My brain works 100% non-visual and that makes it hard to a) imagine how a place or a person looks and b) to describe it once I made the effort to build the look up in my head. I just go by vibes.
18. Do I like foreign language dialogue?
Not really. As English is already a foreign laguage for me, bringing in others feels weird to me. Except for that one time I had a multi-lingual character who'd always slip into cursing in other languages during sex. That was a lot of fun. 😁
19. First fandom I wrote for?
I... have no idea. Maybe 'Saber Rider and the Star Sherrifs' or maybe 'Detective Conan'. Though in both cases, I didn't even realise something like 'fanfiction' existed, I was just writing for myself. Then I wrote half of a Divergent fic after reading a few others. The first fic I ever published was for HTTYD.
20. Favourite fic I've written?
I can absolutely not answer this question. Sure, I might like some of my fics better than others, but I also 'love' all of them. But generally, I think I like my longer fics the most. The entire 'I Should Go' series, NOOT, WIMTBC, and FTLOAP for HTTYD. WTWMOR for Miraculous. MtO and the Violiaden Series for Fourth Wing.
tagging @taketheshot21 @heathenvampires @athingofvikings @dayeongi @drakaina-amore64 and everyone who else might want to do these. 🥰

Top 10 Portrayals of Dr. Seward
In Bram Stoker’s Dracula, Lucy Westenra - Dracula’s first female victim of note - is desired by three separate men. First, the man she chooses to be her husband, Arthur Holmwood: he’s the single most boring character in the entire main cast of the novel, and yet somehow he makes it into multiple adaptations…most of which do very little to make him a whole lot more interesting. I fail to understand this. Second is Quincey Morris: he’s more interesting, in several ways, and is even one of the gents who slays the undead Count, sacrificing his life to avenge his beloved Lucy and destroy the vampire. He also almost never makes it into any adaptations, and even those that do feature him usually conflate him with Holmwood - I’m guilty of this, myself. And last but not least, there’s Dr. Jack Seward - the only one of Lucy’s Suitors I plan to discuss. In the novel, Seward is a young and brilliant psychiatrist and physician combined, and the head of a local mental institution. He’s a skeptical scientist, who needs to be shown the reality of the utterly horrific and fantastical nature of vampires. He is also the “caretaker,” for lack of a better word, of Renfield, which makes him important to the team due to his connections with Dracula’s Servant. It is through Seward, in the book, that we learn so much about Lucy and Renfield alike, and it is Seward who summons Van Helsing in the first place to try and help out. While many adaptations DO include the character of Dr. Seward, nearly all of them change the character from his literary origins. Most make him an older gentleman, and focus more on the connection to Renfield than anything else. Indeed, many times Seward is made to be either Mina or Lucy’s FATHER, rather than a potential suitor. Even a few that do stray closer to the novel sometimes excise important elements of his character. Give Mina and Lucy credit, they usually still resemble their original forms to some degree: Seward is essentially a 50-50 shot. He’s either going to match the book version, or he very much isn’t. With that said, let’s take a look at some of those attempts at Seward now. These are My Top 10 Favorite Portrayals of Dr. Seward.
10. Orson Welles, from the Mercury Theater Radio Version.
The Mercury Theater Radio production of Dracula is interesting in that - much like a few takes on Quincey Morris in other adaptations - it conflates the characters of Seward and Arthur Holmwood. In the radio play, Seward’s work at the asylum is barely referenced, and Renfield is nowhere to be found: instead, he’s depicted as Lucy’s fiance, and the only major connection he has to the book version (aside from the name) is that he is an old friend and student of Professor Van Helsing. The main reason this version makes the list at all is because Orson Welles plays both Seward AND Dracula in the radio play, which is certainly an interesting choice of double-casting.
9. Buz Setton, from Disney’s Dracula, Pages From a Virgin’s Diary.
In the Disney graphic novel, Chief O’Hara (hold your horses, Batman fans; I’m talking about the Mickey Mouse character) plays the role of Seward, or, as he’s called in the comic, “Buz Setton.” (Not sure why the name was changed.) There’s really not much to say about this version except that it’s expectedly amusing, and aside from the name change and the goofiness that lies abundant, it’s a more or less accurate depiction of the character. Also, Pete is Renfield. This makes me chuckle.
8. Herbert Bunston, from the 1931 Film.
The origins of Seward being reimagined as an older gentleman, and the father of one of the main ladies in the play, begin with the Hamilton Deane stage adaptation. When the play went to Broadway, Herbert Bunston was cast in the role of the good doctor. When Universal decided to make their film version of the story - based more heavily on the play, rather than the original book - Bunston was one of the actors from the stage version who got a chance to reprise and immortalize his performance onscreen. While I feel his work is a bit “stagey,” even by standards of the time, it’s clear he’s comfortable with the material, and fully immersed in the character.
7. Jose Seriano Viosca, from “Spanish Dracula.”
The Spanish-language version of the previous film is, in my opinion, largely inferior to the original. While a few things in it are certainly interesting, much of the cast, in particular, just doesn’t strike me as being as strong as the cast in the English version. There are, however, two chief exceptions: one is Lupita Tovar as Mina, or “Eva,” who I spoke of in a past list. The other is Jose Seriano Viosca as Dr. Seward. Viosca’s Seward feels so much more natural in his performance than Herbert Bunston, in my opinion. He’s got more of a sense of humor, too, which is refreshing compared to Bunston’s more proprietorial character. There’s also a wonderful warmth between himself and Tovar, as well; they really do feel like father and daughter in this version. It’s still not remotely close to the book, but it is, in my opinion, a generally more interesting portrayal to watch.
6. Patti LuPone, from Penny Dreadful.
This version strays about as far from the path as you can get; thankfully, the character here is still very interesting, so that ultimately doesn’t matter much. After two seasons of teasing Dracula’s appearance, the third (and sadly final) season of “Penny Dreadful” finally brought several of the characters from the novel to life. Among them is Seward, here reimagined as a female doctor, and an alienist (an early term for psychologist), who has some unusual ties to the main protagonist of the series, Vanessa Ives. Never thought I’d see an older Evita meet Dracula, but here we are.
5. Donald Pleasance, from the 1979 Film.
This film, like the 1931 Universal pictures, is based largely on the stage version of Dracula. Pleasance’s Seward is depicted as the father of the Mina character once again, and this time is very deliberately played up as something of a comic relief figure. He’s a somewhat bumbling character, who ultimately has to stand up to the challenges Dracula’s presence creates for himself and his family.
4. Mark Burns, from the 1977 BBC TV Film.
FINALLY, a properly accurate interpretation of the character from the novel! Burns’ Seward gets a lot of focus in this movie, as not only does he have the relationship with Lucy intact, but the character of Renfield is given some more focus in this adaptation as well. As a result, Burns gets more time in the spotlight by extension.
3. Daniel Weyman, from the 2006 BBC Radio Version.
Once more, not pictured in costume, because this was a radio version. Much like the Orson Welles adaptation, this version conflates the characters of Arthur Holmwood and Jack Seward together, so that he is now Lucy’s fiance and gets sole focus - no Holmwood or Quincey Morris in sight. HOWEVER, unlike the Mercury Theater rendition, we do get to see (or, rather, hear) him in the Asylum, and learn of his relationship with Renfield, which I think is a vast improvement in comparison, since you now get the best of both worlds.
2. The Version from Anno Dracula.
“Anno Dracula” is a series that takes place in an alternate universe, where Van Helsing and his team failed to stop Dracula, who is now effectively the ruler of England, acting as Queen Victoria’s royal consort. In this world, vampires are now the norm: at least 50% of the population are vampires. The interesting thing with this is that vampires aren’t depicted as naturally evil, monstrous beings; they’re just…people. Like anybody else. Some are good, some are bad, but they aren’t inherently diabolical. This is where Seward’s role in the first novel comes into play: it’s revealed that Seward is the only human survivor of the original story, and has basically gone insane after his experiences. He becomes none other than Jack the Ripper: in this universe, his attacks are a pithy attempt to destroy the vampires he’s come to believe are evil creatures. While Seward’s motivations and perspectives are tragically understandable, he is still in the wrong. It’s interesting to see this character in this light, and he’s one of the most memorable figures in the book, as we see the story from his side several times.
1. Richard E. Grant, from the 1992 Film.
A great actor playing the role basically as Stoker wrote it. For all the things Francis Ford Coppola changed in his version of Dracula, one thing that pretty much stayed true to the source without any deviation was Richard E. Grant as Jack Seward. This is pretty much exactly how I imagined the book character to be, and that’s really all I need to give this version top marks on the list. Case closed.

Scott pilgrim has an incredibly niche and dedicated fanbase and they were stoked for an anime series. Edgar Wright also very clearly thinks of this project as his baby (and Brian O’Malley, especially since he was the creator of it all.) I don’t think they were ever going to let it fail. Especially since they waited so long to do this AND the entire original movie cast basically signed on to do it asap.
The CE turned hater whatevers are hilarious to me at times because 25 losers on tumblr who spend 24/7 stalking his flights and soba noodle prices should have realized that a lot of Scott pilgrim fans also enjoy Lucas lee and a lot of ppl were pleasantly surprised he’d turned up to do this again.
I think Chris has a decent fan base in the comic book crowd (primarily for his Steve portrayal but also the random other things he’s done like Scott P, the losers, fantastic four, etc.) he has a whole fanboy fan base too and those guys are likely the ones tuning in to watch his Netflix movies (lol). One of my guy friends is a huge CE fan - he loves him and Ryan Gosling and the guy literally said one of his all time favs was Chris in the perfect score (LOL). He’s like “I’ve always liked him and his cap trilogy is the best in the MCU and he has a great Ass.” This guy is your standard football watching Vegas hopping guy who will watch stuff like the gray man but probably won’t care to follow up on people magazine lol.
Point blank there actually are a lot of men who admire Chris and his assets (LOL) and they tend to be typical dude crowd. Chris has that ability to appeal to nerds, comic book geeks, women, basic betches, teenage girls, and grown ass men. I think that’s a very special thing.
Say what you want about him but I think more people are upset he’s not doing better movies post MCU than whoever he is dating. Which means - if he starts doing more projects that get people excited you will see more people tuning in for him.
Just my two cents.
Oh 100%!! I love that Edgar Wright was true to Brian’s original creation. The cast, script, director, and animators did amazing! Bringing back the original cast was the cherry on top. They jived really well and it shows.
Those “fans” are seriously just whatever. This is the last ask I’m going to do on the subject. Ignore the trolls. If you give a mouse a cookie! Anyways, Scott Pilgrim has a solid fan base so it was always going to do well.
Ghosted wasn’t great by any stretch of the imagination. I enjoyed it and watched it more than once. But I will say it didn’t crack my top 10 of his projects. He did well. The script sucked. But I also think the role should have went to someone much younger. I don’t know, is Jaeden Martell or Finn Wolfhard too young? Maybe Jacob Elordi or that other kid, Noah Centineo? It wasn’t believable as a “38” year old man personably.
Chris has a wide fan base that expands past women. I promise you. My dad has became a fan 😂 I love when he tells me about one of his movies and says, you would like it and I’m just like, uh huh. Yeah. He did say he wants to watch him be a detective and wants him in a western. So random. That man has watched many of his movies and not by my influence.
Chris has a universal appeal. And I think a lot of his fans want more from him. So many of us will support all of his projects, but don’t dumb us down. Give us good projects to work with. But we can’t deny that there are fans, like myself, who are a fan of him as well. No, I didn’t ever buy into this Prince Charming that Disney sold us, but I also can’t say I haven’t been disappointed in the past year. Am I “mad” at him? Nope. Just want more and better for him.
