#too many ideas and not enough time

Ugh I feel so drained from one day back to work after having four days off. It wasn't enough. I felt so much more refreshed and creative then I have for a while. I spent some time outlining some future stories to finish some hanging plot lines to finish off my current stories so that I can move on to the kiddos.

I also have a pretty good idea on some of my TS3 stories. I'm working on the the reboot of gen 3 of the Van Winkle Legacy so while I work on that I'm going on to the next gen of Glitter. It'll follow the kiddos that we haven't met yet so knowledge of the previous gens won't be necessary. I'm hoping to start that in January as I have quite a bit of set up to do. In the meantime I'll do some character profiles so that you can meet everyone. As the last generation got a bit big I decided to split the kiddos into 4 worlds so that it's a bit more manageable. Some of the previous generation might show up and some might not. It depends if I still have the sims as I did lose a few.

I'm hoping to have at least one TS4 story and one TS3 story running on my blog. But who knows if I'll manage it. RL tends to sap the energy right out of me.

I've been looking through notes and someone's going to have to put me on a leash or tie me up or something to keep me from writing about this vampire detective and his werewolf daughter.

I need to get Weald and Wen published and write horror shorts and edit Pale Blood and finish Mr. Friendly.

I do not have time for self-indulgent stories outside familiar genres that will require a lot of research and reading and I am only making this harder someone grab some rope.

The celestial realm is interesting as well, I think so much media, games, and books have made so much and you just have to look way back. like the lesser key of solomon.

One of my theory is that obey me is set when they newly fell, and Lucifer is raising brothers tobecome the 7 princes of hell.

If you look at the lore behind Asmodeus him being a duke, and him having his own legions.

That's a super cool theory!! I have one that involves the past rulers of sin, and why they weren't there when the bros fell. Trying to work on those fics too, because I have 0 self control.

I have a long list of ideas on my phone but I have not acted on them🥲 I was just thinking about a Detective Cyno and Phantom Thief Tighnari AU the other day... and I have a storyboard for a comic about Zhongli and human!Azhdaha about the process of the latter losing himself to erosion lying around somewhere hahaha and many more

There's a fic I've been (slowly) working on that features Kirk being just about the Only person on the ship who can read Spock's expressions, simply because he Likes Spock (not even romantically at first, he just sees Spock and goes, 'friend-shaped <3'.) and therefore pays attention, where he winds up being like. a Spock-interpreter for everyone else. (Captain, is he mad at me?? Captain, are my questions annoying him? Captain, did he like my joke? Captain, I feel like Spock hates me. etc.)

and the reason I bring this up is because I think there's a lot of potential in a Different version of this, where Kirk is still the only one who can read Spock's emotions, but this time, it's because they managed to spontaneously bond like. immediately. and neither of them realize this for a good while, because what are the odds that you're So Compatible with someone that your minds just Instantly glue themselves together? They're astronomical, that's what they are.

Except, a year or three into the mission, Spock discovers the bond. and panics. and blocks it. Of course he does! It's an egregious breach of telepathic etiquette! (Or, it would be, if he'd done it on purpose.) He has No Idea how long it's been there - he assumes it must be new. And, once the bond is blocked, by a Spock who is absolutely swamped with shame that he could let that happen to his own captain and dear friend, Kirk suddenly. cannot read Spock's emotions. And then he panics, because ohmigod i can't read him is he mad at me what did i do does he hate me???? (everyone else on this ship is baffled. they're like 'his face has literally not changed?? what do you mean you can't read him now??)

and eventually, they figure out what happened, and that they love each other, and then restore the bond to its original state and kiss and what not. but they angst about it for a bit first, and possibly have to get their heads slammed together by bones before that happens.

♪ Dirty Little Secret - The All-American Rejects

Do you remember when I said a while ago that a playlist with 6 songs didn’t sit well with me, so I had a way to add more? This is that way. I’ve put too much though into this universe where every kiss is Noco, so I’m making sketch pages for the comics respective episode, starting with Greeces Pieces!

No one even kisses in this episode, but the reveal plot point was WAY too important and WAY too interesting to ignore. The reveal comic will come eventually, but for now here’s the rest of the episode!!

For funsies here’s my notes about this portion, directly copy pasted from my notes app:

* Noah death glares Tyler, threatening him into silence. Alejandro notices.

* When Heather and Alejandro bicker before landing, Noah shoots Cody a look, saying “they’re crazy” with his eyes. Cody giggles back at him. Sierra notices.

* She questions him about it, not knowing Noah and Cody were friends. Cody awkwardly reaffirms yeah they’re just friends!! Sierra accepts this answer despite Cody stumbling through it. Oopsies I ended up changing this one. I’ll explain why later.

* Noah competes in the one on one turned 3v3 duel, Owen using him as a weapon. Well intentioned, of course. They end up winning, and they share the two medals Owen won in the original.

* Noah ends up flying across the arena, landing on Cody by accident. They pause for two seconds maximum, and stutter and stumble standing up. Alejandro notices and starts putting the pieces together of what might of happened.

* (By the end of the episode he’s positive he knows, so he’s not really shocked when Tyler actually says it.)

* The song of the episode is sung by Courtney and Duncan, about what don’t ask me. Courtney wins that challenge for the Amazons.

* Heather and Alejandro still compete in the hurdles challenge and Heather still wins, leading to the tiebreaker.
