HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE I AM HOSTING THE 1ST PRSK NPC APPRECIATION WEEK!

Taking place September 22nd to 28th (9/22 - 9/28) we’ll be drawing Project Sekai NPCs from a number of categories! Here’s the prompt list.

I am aware I’ve forgotten a number of characters such all unnamed ones, so feel free to divert from my examples as long as it fills the prompt!

Posts will be tagged as #prsknpcweek24 and I’ll do my best to like and reblog/retweet all of them!

I've already sketched and begun lining all of mine, but don't feel obligated to go crazy like me and do fully rendered pieces for all 7 days. Of additional note, feel free to participate however you like! Drawing, fanfiction, animation, character analysis, video edits, card edits, whatever! I look forward to any and all of it.

another really fantastic detail from the s2 finale regarding Leo's powers... I've always loved the hell out of what they did cinematically with it, it looks and feels incredible and kicks total ass. initially I was under the impression that he was replacing his portals with his swords; that he was "traveling through" them per-say. but here --

...we can actually see Leo materializing SEPARATELY from his sword! you can see in the following frame he actually dissipates again and his sword continues flying along the same path untouched, inertia unaffected.

...and then he materializes again to properly align with it and catch it!

he's entirely not in contact with it but is implied to have already crossed spacetime. which means Leo can just... Do That. he's rapidly bending space to transmit his goddamn subatomic particles to a new location. the purpose of the swords isn't to do the portaling; it's to work as a landing pad. it's a vector point by which he re-solidifies the mass he's transporting. a familiar homing beacon he can align himself with on the fly.

Here is the finished version of my smaller & simplified Hierophant embroidery design! It measures 3.5 inches wide rather than 6.25 like my larger and more complex pattern, and I tried a different color palette for the background to bring it closer to the original card. It's still not perfect but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out!

This pattern takes a lot less time than the bigger one, so is more approachable. Both these patterns and my other designs will be available in my new etsy store as I finish writing out instructions and uploading them :)

This finished piece will also be for sale for anyone interested, and I am taking limited embroidery commissions for now.

I wonder if one reason that Mumbo and Tommy, unlikely duo that they are, get along so well is because Mumbo knows what it’s like to be a kid with a chance to impress his heroes.

Mumbo was also a teenager when he joined the server that made his career.

He also grew up surrounded by his heroes and getting to call them peers.

He knows what it’s like to grow and change alongside the medium that defined you.

Neither of them are kids anymore. Both of them grew up alongside a silly little block game, playing alongside the people who inspired them, calling them friends. Starting out as the group kid and then growing up.

And I can’t help but imagine that Mumbo sees a lot of himself in Tommy.
