Hi, first of all I would like to say that I love your stories, they are very good. I had a story idea with Nicholas, where the character is invited by Vogue to make a video about her morning routine. Everything was going well until Nicholas decided to participate in this video. I would like something really cute and fun
❛ 𝐕𝐎𝐆𝐔𝐄 𝐁𝐄𝐀𝐔𝐓𝐘 𝐒𝐄𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐓𝐒 ❜ . . . nicholas chavez
Tumblr media Tumblr media
SUMMARY, nicholas chavez’ girlfriend does her makeup tutorial on vogue but he accidentally interrupts.
A/N, i’m glad you enjoy my writing!! instead of doing morning routine; i did beauty secrets.
WARNINGS, none
Tumblr media
As the camera starts rolling, Nicholas’s girlfriend smiles brightly, introducing herself to the viewers.
“Hey, everyone! I’m so excited to be doing my Vogue Beauty Secrets today. I’ll show you my go-to makeup routine, plus share a little about my upcoming projects,” she says, applying her foundation with practiced ease. “I love this part—it’s like the base for everything!”
She’s just reached her concealer when suddenly, Nicholas strolls into the shot, oblivious to the camera. Realizing what he’s done, he freezes and his eyes widen.
“Oh, sorry! Sorry!” he laughs, ready to step out, but she just shakes her head, laughing too.
She laughs, waving him over. “No, no! You’re here now; might as well join me!”
Nicholas grins, stepping in beside her. “Alright, guess I’m doing my Vogue Beauty Secrets debut!” He dramatically holds up an imaginary foundation brush and speaks in a mock-influencer voice. “So, what you want to do is dab, blend, and—”
She rolls her eyes, handing him a real brush.
He takes the brush, pretending to be very serious as he blends with exaggerated, delicate strokes. “See? It’s all in the wrist,” he says, swirling the brush with finesse.
She giggles, reaching for her moisturizer and eye cream. “Okay, since you’re here, I think it’s time we take care of your skin!”
Nicholas laughs, holding his hands up. “I’m the assistant! No one said anything about me getting a makeover!”
“Too late.” She dabs moisturizer onto his cheeks. “So, Nicholas here thinks he doesn’t need skincare. But, actually, hydration is key, especially after a long day filming.”
“Hydration is key,” he echoes, trying to keep a straight face as she smooths the moisturizer into his skin. “Next thing you know, I’ll be talking about serums and toners.”
“Exactly!” She grins, grabbing her toner and patting it onto his cheeks. “See? You’re practically a pro now.”
“And next up, let’s go in with a little blush for that… you know, healthy glow.” He reaches out as if he’s doing her blush, guiding her hand to the brush with exaggerated care.
“Oh, is that what it’s for?” she asks, smirking at his confident tone. “Yep. And you can trust me,” he grins, tapping her nose. “I’m totally a pro.”
Finally, she pulls out her lip gloss, about to apply it when Nicholas takes it from her. “I got this,” he insists. “You have to be very precise…”
Leaning in to apply it on her. Carefully, he sweeps the gloss across her lips, then steps back to admire his work. But instead of handing the gloss back, he leans in, planting a kiss on her freshly applied gloss, leaving a smudge.
She laughs, looking at her messy lips in the mirror. “You did my lips just to mess up!”
Nicholas chuckles, giving her a wink. “Can’t say i’m sorry!” With one last playful grin, he leaves the frame, and she shakes her head, laughing, as she reaches for her gloss again.

what does less is more ACTUALLY mean?.ೃ࿔*:・🍨🎀
Tumblr media
when talking about beauty tips, i noticed people always talk about the concept that less is MORE. but like, never really elaborated into that so i wanted to kind of give my two cents on the less is more tip…💬🎀
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
LESS IS ENHANCEMENT ;
when i first thought about the phrase "less is more" my mind immediately went to USING less. less makeup, less accessories, kind of a minimalistic approach to beauty. but as i sat with it more i've come to see that less doesn't mean to do nothing/not try, but instead its about enhancing ur features and not hiding them with too many products.
like, instead of layering on a million products, you keep ur lip combo a simple lip liner and gloss... or with lashes u go for a wispy hybrid look instead of a caterpillar lash (no hate to caterpillar lash girlies) when there are variations in the density and fullness of ur lashes, it gives it a more natural look and it elevates ur everyday makeup by like a billion percent. customize ur lashes to your eyes! dont just take them out of the container and slap em on.
so when you focus on like the big things for your day to day looks... like taking care of ur skin so u dont have to wear foundation everyday to feel pretty, lash clusters, a little bit of lipgloss. u dont like NEED so much every single day you know? less is more to me is about enhancing ur natural beauty and ur features with/without makeup.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
another example, if u have moles and beauty marks... dont cover them up with concealer but instead highlight them with an eyeliner and wear them proudly. at the end of the day we wanna let our individuality shine and be celebrated, and with practice we can learn to accentuate and flatter our features. and the same is true for our bodies. media loves to show what an acceptable body is and isn't, like why cant we just accentuate our bodies and be comfortable and feel sexy in it? (thats an idea for another post) like how "being skinny" made a resurgence in the media and now the bbl body of the 2018 era is like gone. this just goes to show that when it comes to ur beauty don't bandwagon off of trends bcuz trends FLUCTUATE. and YOU shouldn't fluctuate with every single trend. just be you!
HOW I APPLY THE LESS IS MORE MANTRA ;
❤︎ my everyday makeup consists of a skin tint, some red blush, my nyx cold brew lip liner and some mascara.
i use red blush bcuz i was watching a victorias secret makeup tutorial and one of the makeup artists mentioned that red blush looks closest to our natural blush so by using a little bit, it's a lot less harsh and actually quite flattering on my skin. i use mascara on my top AND bottom lashes (bottom lashes make SUCH a difference) and ofc my lip liner and gloss and thats it…💬🎀
❤︎ i keep my skincare and bodycare SUPER simple. i dont overload on the products and i give my skin what it NEED.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
my morning skincare is just turmeric and kojic acid bar soap, toner and my beauty of josen sunscreen. my evening skincare is my turmeric and kojic acid bar soap, niacinamide and the nivea SOFT moisturize. as for my evening bodycare i use my turmeric soap and slather with coconut oil and raw shea butter once im out. i use these at night instead of my regular vanilla scented wash routine bcuz thats more so to smell good and feel soft, this routine is to maintain my soft pretty skin…💬🎀
with all this being said, this is just a think piece and u dont have to make this ur whole life! like, i love being a doll and wearing dolly lashes and adding on tons and TONS of accessories. take this principle and apply it where u feel it resonates the most. u dont have to take it and apply it to everything cuz we're not all the same. like i personally absolutely canNOT do minimalistic fashion and decor because im EXTRA... but when it comes to my everyday makeup i think i look cuter when i wear a little less, and my skin responds better to less product. hope u enjoyed girlies 💕

🕯️ Fanfic binding of @chdarling 's The Last Enemy Series.🕯️
I was originally not going to post this, but I thought - why the heck not. All my love goes out to C.H. Darling. This Marauders fic has brought so much comfort and whimsy into my life, and it’s been a privilege to have this sitting on my shelf, waiting to be re-read again and again.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Honestly, this long-term project has helped me through a really stressful period of my life. Putting this together has brought just as much comfort as reading TLE, no regrets!! For personal use only. Never resell fanfic. Please ask permission or check an author's FAQ before binding fanfic. You don't need fancy supplies to bind, and there are a lot of tutorials, budget friendly options, and ways to achieve binding your own copy. Details:
• Typeset created in Word. Graphics from Canva. • Text block using 80gsm copy paper. Coptic stitch. Rounding and backing. Oxford hollow.
• Book cover using recycled book board, paper shopping bags, and 120gsm paper. Cover art by Heinrich Gogarten and Frances Ridley Havergal. Printed with Inkjet.
• Endpapers designed in Canva. Printed using Laserjet. Foiling done using toner-reactive foil & a laminator.

Heyy prettyy so I wanted to ask if u can do a skincare routine & a makeup tutorial cuz ur such a baddie like 🤭🤭
If not that’s okay btw I wanted to also say I love ur stories they are so interesting 😛💕
aw thank you sweetheartt💞🌸 of courseee! i dont wear makeup lol you guys should teach ME😭
skincare routine + links to products under the cut、i do this 2x a day—morning & night! i tried my best to explain in kindergarten terms
Tumblr media
step 1: cleanse—removes dirt、oil etc. i double cleanse meaning 2 washes with 2 different cleansers. cerave for the first wash & soon jung for the second、soon jung is lightweight and sensitive skin friendly<3 you don't have to use 2 different cleansers but cleansing twice is a must no matter what! i use this spinbrush to clear pores & get all the dead skin off ♡
step 2: tone— refreshes+balances skin ph、completely optional you can skip😭 this is great for sensitive skin and these toner pads i've been using helped me with texture、and hydration ♡
step 3: serum— i use this only in the morning、it hydrates & gives you a glass skin look. optional again i do not use this everyday... i don't think its good for sensitive skin and its quite sticky, but just for when i want to feel extra glazed😉
step 4: before moisturizing i just put vaseline under my eyes ♡
step 5: moisturize— enhypen are actually ambassadors for this lol the cream is really good! but i mainly use soon jung 2x; it's thick & effective but doesnt leave you with a greasy feel. if you have really oily skin and want something lighter and still moisturizing、purito gel is nice and lightweight bc its gel based ♡
you only need a cleanser、an exfoliater、and moisturizer 😭i have combination skin (dry but oily in certain areas) so this is just what works for me! definitely do research based on your skin type♡

Bound: The Superfluous Man by peu_a_peu
Okay, whoops, I forgot to take good pictures before I sent it off to the author.
I wanted to bind this, but it's fairly short, but I also wanted to test out the double fan method of making a paperback, so that's what I decided to do. I used @maleekamolscreates's tutorial and it worked great!
I did end up making three copies of this bind - the first I cut too much, the second I printed the cover in black and white, and the third was the one pictured. (Plus I'd put a border around the text on the back, and it kept getting cut off a bit, or it make it obvious that my cut wasn't perfectly straight.)
Oh. The cover. THE COVER. Of course I had to make it look like Potioneer's Guide to Conception and Gestation, Vol 2. Of course.
It was super fun to make. I printed the cover on my inkjet printer, then ran it through the laser printer just to add the title so I could use toner foil on it.
The art inside is by @the-forbidden-forest. SO GOOD.
(And yes, I did make a podfic of this. Naturally.)

So you want to print and distribute a free zine...
I wanted to throw together a short tutorial on how I print zines using this excellent COVID safety zine by @newlevant as an example.
Printing
First make sure you are clicking on the printable file. When you open it, it should look slightly jumbled. I always look for seeing the front cover and the back cover on the same page.
Then click "print" (usually a printer icon) and open "more settings".
Tumblr media
The key things people tend to get wrong when they try printing zines is they forget to make sure that it is double sided and flips on the short edge. If you tried printing one and it came out looking wonky, make sure to check this.
Also, it will make your life infinitely easier if you use the collate option should you have it available to you.
Fit to printable area is a helpful setting to have on if you're printing zines who use a different paper standard than you. This zine didn't for me but I leave this on out of habit.
When you've got this all set up - print as many copies as you want to assemble.
Assembling
Tumblr media
When you get them out of the printer they'll look like this. Just a big old stack. I highly recommend parsing out each individual copy before you try assembling any. I have made that mistake before.
This is how I stack mine.
Tumblr media
I like to leave the cover side up as it makes for a clearer division as I'm assembling.
As you're flipping through these to parse and stack them, check them over for any issues with printing. I ran out of printer toner on the first three so I'm glad I checked.
Imperfections are fine but you're looking for anything that makes critical information unreadable.
To assemble a copy, get them lined up by tapping them on the table along a short and a long edge.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Both hands is a lot easier but I was trying to take a picture lol
Then fold them hamburger style and smooth down the spine as best you can. If you have a bone folder or similar use that.
Again, let go of perfection. We are looking for good enough here. Minor errors here should not make info unreadable so don't sweat the small stuff.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I recommend doing all your folding in one go to prevent errors. Or at least it really helps me.
Now it's time to staple. You will see my fancy stapler in the background - you do not require it and I would not recommend it. Unhinging a normal stapler is way easier to use in my opinion and this one gets jammed fairly easy. Use what you've got.
If you don't have staples, but you do have sewing supplies - check out this tutorial for a way to bind it with thread.
If you have no staples and no thread, you don't have to staple every zine. Smaller ones (~5 pages or less) do fine with no staple. They can be a little tougher for some people to use and don't hold up as well being taken in and out of places so I would consider that when thinking of where to leave them. They're still well worth printing and putting out.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This zine is small enough that one staple in the center should be enough to keep it together.
I opted to staple in two places - one about an inch in from either edge - mostly out of habit. It does add a little stability and will make them a little better for putting in Little Free Libraries and other places where they'll be removed and placed back.
Tumblr media
Here is my partner looking over the zines to make sure my stapling didn't cut off any important information in each copy. It's a little tedious but it's pretty important. A quick flip through can mean the difference between someone getting the info you want them to have or not.
And here's the finished product
Tumblr media
I made 15. I'm pretty privileged and have been making zines for over a decade now so it's almost like knitting or crochet for me. Feel free to make fewer copies or just one for yourself. It still counts.
I will stick some in each car and my bag. I have some medical appointments coming up so I will for sure be leaving some of these in the waiting room.
I'm also going to keep an eye out for Little Free Libraries and other place where people are looking for something to read. I might also toss some on the tables of a coffee shop I pop into sometimes (masked, take out only) and the library to pick up books (also masked).
I tend not to give them to specific people, even people I know, because people are way more open to information they've picked up themself than something it feels like someone is pressuring them to read. But if people bring it up in conversation, I'll be sure to offer a copy to anyone who is interested.
Hope this is helpful!
Go out there and print!

Rhys is a male that would gladly sit there while you are either get ready for the day or get ready for bed just fascinated by you and how much you love your little self care routines
Now he already knows what the products are, what they do, and what your routine is but he loves listening to you go on about products that you love and hate and how you explain what each one does and what step they are. He loves the excitement you have when explaining stuff you love over all.
He would also love to do little spa days with face masks with you
Did this pop into my head while I was doing my after shower routine… yes lol
omg fuck yes
he just sits and listens as you talk about active ingredients, and why to never mix retinols and vitamin c.
he listens when you talk about your new toner that makes ur makeup look super smooth.
he listens when you become an influencer and make a youtube tutorial for him, acting like youre on camera.
he walks over when you tell him to sit next to you and put on a clay face mask with his hair pushed back by a pink headband
he will sit and listen when you show him how to use a gua sha
bae will sit and learn and then when he got it all down, he will begin doing it for you. acts of service fr

Hey! I’m a big fan of your binds, you are seriously so talented. I was wondering how you made your covers for Crimson Rivers and Grounds for Divorce. I’m very very new to book binding and I’ve only ever made blank covers, and I’m trying to figure out how to make designed covers but most binders use a Cricut and I don’t have one 😅 It looks like those binds aren’t heat adhesive vinyl, so I was wondering how you made them! Thank you SO MUCH!
Hiiii! Firstly thank you for the lovely words, you’re so kind! Also welcome to the most fun & frustrating hobby of all times 🙊. For grounds for divorce I did a wrap cover method where you just print your design on paper and then usually laminate or spray it to protect it from scratching and cover the book boards with that paper rather than using bookcloth and htv.
For crimson rivers- I did use bookcloth and htv for the actual binds but then made dust jackets with fan art for over top.
If you have a printer you can do the following methods for covers:
1) wrap paper cover (as I mentioned above)
2) print on fabric decorated or make your own decorative fabric
3) cardstock with foil using the toner activated foil through a laminator for the front and back covers and a cloth spine piece!
I do have the wrap cover tutorial on my insta and TikTok but there’s others ones I see that are probs more detailed.
Hope this helps!

Jules

personal blog to document self care
Tumblr media
im not really one for this stuff so bare with me. I recently looked at my life and found myself to be unsatisfied with my personality and my appearance so i want to work on myself and turn myself into who i want to be.
Growing up I never really got to take care of myself, or even learn to take care of myself. I was actually locked in a basement for 3 years and didnt learn basic hygiene for a better part of my childhood. Now, obviously, I shower and brush my teeth like a normal person, but I dont really want to just do the bare minimum anymore. I want to actually take care of my body. I dont know how to do my hair or what products to use on my face or even how to do basic make up. I feel ugly.
So this summer I’m going to hopefully change that ! this post im just going to list a couple goals ive set for myself and what to work on !
━━━•❃°•°❀°•°❃•━━
1. fix my teeth
because of the basement and the lack of care from my parents i didnt actually get into the habit of brushing my teeth until well into my teenage life, which is frankly gross. (I dont even think we had toothbrushes in the basement) As you can imagine, my teeth are kinda janky. not as bad as they couldve been, i only need one root canal and a couple fillers, but its been a big part of my feeling of ugliness, specifically the cavity in the middle of my two front teeth. its pretty visible to me in photos or videos and is the main reason i dont smile with my teeth anymore for photos.
Thankfully, I’m getting a couple of my fillings done Tuesday, including the one in my front teeth, so that shouldnt be an issue anymore. Now Im just going to focus on whitening my teeth and taking good care of them from here on out !!
2. skin care
i generally have pretty smooth skin, but as any teenager, I tend to get acne, specifically on my forehead. My skincare routine is practically nonexistent, with me just washing my face with an acne scrub, but to try to help my skin im on the look out for exfoliators and different skin care products such as toners, as well as just creating a skin care routine. On the whole I just want to find efficient products that work for cheap, and also not like 10 products since im quite lazy some days
3. hair care
I have no clue how to do my hair. I used to have SUPER short hair, like shorter than a pixie length, but around december last year I decided to forgo haircuts and grow my hair out. Now that I have hair just above my shoulders, I’m trying to figure out what to do with it. Should I keep growing it out? What haircut should I get that best suits my face? How do you use a hair curler? Or a straightener? I have pretty thick but straight hair, and a round face shape, so my plan is to maybe get layers for added volume and then buy a straightener and figure out how to use it. I have a hair curler but its decades old and doesnt do what i want it to, and i always see these videos of girls styling their hair with just a hair straightener and coming out with hair that looks like they got it done at a salon with like no effort !!
4. make up
I wanna learn how to do it !! it looks super cute and i would love to try those different styles on my face. I think I’m going to watch a bunch of tutorials and then buy products as I figure out what i need. I’m not really one for full face looks or anything over the top, so i think for right now im just gonna learn how to do more natural looks :)
5. eating good + losing weight
i generally dont really watch what i put in my body. i wanna be healthier overall and not just eat junk. I go through phases of eating nothing at all to eating half a pizza in one sitting. I weigh about 120 right now and am 5’0 but i dont look the way i want to. I think im gonna look up some exercises online to help flatten my stomach and just in general work off some fat.
6. read more
theres a local library down the street from where i live so im planning to start going there daily and reading. I want to also pick up journaling and scrapbooking, im super excited !!!
7. style and wardrobe
I dont really have my own sense of style, i just kinda wear whatever. I want to have cute outfits to wear and put on each day !!! so im gonna make a pinterest board of clothes i like, before noting down patterns in the clothes and building my wardrobe off of that. i get paid bi-weekly, so 60% will go into savings, 20% will go to outings and wants, and the other 20 will go to improving myself. I currently am still in school and live with my parents, so i dont have needs to cover or anything. my paychecks are typically around 200 bucks, so id get 40 bucks every 2 weeks to put into getting stuff for myself ! im trying to prioritize saving so i have a cushion for myself in case of anything.
8. personality
i dont like how i act sometimes. i want to stop procrastinating and i want to be kind. i dont really know how to fix this one other than keeping myself in check? learning discipline? all online is telling me to do is listen to podcasts or writing affirmations. i could do those things, but im unsure of how effective they will be. i already want to learn more hobbies and do more things, like pottery. im thinking of just creating a new version of myself and making myself embody that version of myself, like an alternate reality version of me or something. someone who is kind and funny and loves and is loved. ill be them and not me until i am them and they ARE me.
9. habits
i wanna change my habits little by little. fix my posture, give out more compliments, exercise daily, keep on top of my room, focus on my mental health, get enough sleep, reduce my screen time, i want to actually CARE about myself and what i do every day. I want a schedule i force myself to stick to. so im gonna try sticking to a habit and then slowly introducing a new one into my routine until i just do them naturally.
━━━•❃°•°❀°•°❃•━━
big list i know !!!! but it’ll come together i promise. Im going to force myself to adhere to this and post weekly updates here about my journey. I think keeping something like this where i have to update will motivate me to actually start this instead of putting it off and putting it off. my friend does vlogs to help her clean her room, and when i did that along side her i really got motivated to clean my ENTIRE room, so im hoping the same happens here. even if no one sees this or cares, its good to have something to see your progress on :)
thank you for the time of day,
Peony <3

Hi! I was wondering how you go about printing works for binding? I really enjoy book binding as a hobby, but I've only ever done blank journals/notebooks. If you have any tutorials or starting points for me to do my own research into binding printed works, that would be greatly appreciated! I love your work and I hope you have a great day!
Totally!!! So, I don't have too many specific tutorials for you. But the digital side of what you're Iooking to do is called typesetting, and I have this post by armoredsuperheavy, which is where I got started. My approach evolved organically from there (for example, i no longer do anything with coloring text), but it's a pretty good foundation for harvesting and formatting your work. It emphasizes microsoft word, but libreoffice is a free tool that will do almost anything word can. A lot of what i absorbed and ways i evolved came from hanging with the renegadepublishing crowd on discord, and they have more resources for other tools too, but I've been comfortably in my word groove from the start, so i don't know those well. I think das bookbinding on youtube may have some resources too? But I'm also not familiar.
Before i mention printing your own material, a sideways less-known option is to purchase a book "in sheets" and do your own binding work with the printed pages! It used to be a pretty standard way to buy a book, but is a lot less common now. I know this australian store recently went up offering books in sheets, and shipping rates out of the country are apparently decent, but i haven't purchased anything myself yet.
And then there's printing books yourself. I already had a good workhorse prinyer when i came to this hobby, so I've done my printing at home, but i know some people have also paid for printing at staples or at libraries, or some have used nearby universities. Again, it's an area I'm not super familiar with, but i know there sre options. And if you're in a place where you want to shop for a printer, NOT HP. Hp's ink/toner practices are downright predatory. Brother and Canon are both better brands. And laser or ink tank printing is more economical than toner cartridges. I have a color laser duplex printer, a canon mfc 644 cdw that i like a lot. But it would have been a hefty investment if I'd had to buy outright, so there are options before reaching that point!

Good Girls Guide To: Clean Girl Aesthetic
If you spend any amount of time on social media, you’ve probably seen the clean girl aesthetic. here are my tips and tricks on how to master the appearance part.
Tumblr media
Appearance
Appearance is a huge part of the clean girl aesthetic. From hairstyles to shoes, the way you look is a big part of the aesthetic.
1. Hair
Hair is the ultimate way to tie a look together and the clean girl aesthetic is all about looking and feeling together.
- Claw Clips: Claw clips are a cute and effective way to keep your hair up and out of your face. Make sure to find a claw clip suitable for your hair type!
- Slick Back Hairstyles: Slick back hairstyles are clean and efficient. They may not be easy but in the end its worth it. Slick back hairstyles are also good if your hair is greasy and you need to get to wash day.
- Blowouts: Blowouts are a clean girl staple. Tiktok and YouTube have plenty of tutorials with affordable products if you don’t have the money to buy something like a Dyson Airwrap. There are simple ways to do heatless blowouts which are even cheaper.
- Shampoo and Conditioner: Shampoo and conditioner really depend on hair type but clean girls use brands like oaui and olaplex. If those companies don’t offer good products for your hair type or don’t work well for you, use another brand but make sure they have a clean smell. I personally like almond and shea butter scents but vanilla, mint, etc. are also amazing!
- Hair oils: I’ve only used a few hair oils like olaplex no°7 and I love it. Hair oils protect your hair from drying out and some have heat protectant. They can also promote hair growth, prevents frizz, and are UV protective.
- Additional Products: Leave in conditioner, scalp scrubs, hair masks, etc. There are plenty of products that help with the health of your hair. If you need recommendations lmk!
2. Skincare
Having a steady skincare routine is a large part of being a clean girl. Also, who doesn’t love clear skin?
- Face Washing: If you do any part of your skincare routine, have it be this. Washing your face, especially at night, is important to wash away the extra makeup, dirt, etc. that could be left from the day. I use the CeraVe cream to foam cleanser and I think it works great.
- Toner: Toner helps wash away the dirt that maybe your cleanser didn’t get. I adore The Ordinary Milky Toner.
- Serums: Depending on what your serum is made for is what it helps with. Niacinimide specializes in reducing things like acne and hyperpigmentation in your skin. Hyalauronic acid helps with things like aging and skin wrinkles.
- Moisturizer: Moisturizer is the second most important step besides cleansing. I use the CeraVe moisturizer and love it!
- Extra steps: Eye creams, face masks, acne care are also important. These products and more mainly depend on your skin type so make sure to buy accordingly.
3. Clothing
Clothing is arguably the most important part of the clean girl aesthetic. Here are some closet staples to truly capture the clean girl essence!
- Basic Tees: Basic tees are essential to any good outfit and are great for layering. Some that I recommend are Skims but other brands have great dupes such as Amazon.
- Jeans: Anytime you see a clean girl, chances are they’re wearing jeans. In my opinion, light wash, wide leg jeans are the best. Some great brands are American Eagle and Pacsun.
- Matching Sets: Matching sets are great for looking put together as well as being comfortable. Some sets that I love are Comfrt and The Happy Camp3r
Now that you have some of the basics down, I think you’re ready. I might make a part two with other things such as jewelry and makeup.

hi beloved!! ok so first off, remember makeup isn’t about covering up your feature but rather enhancing them and expressing yourself!! (i am sure you are gorgeous talia!)
so first thing i recommend to do is find out your face shape, eye shape, and just learn about your features overall. different makeup looks drastically different on you based on these! for example, eyeliner looks can look very different based on if you have a monolid, hooded eyes, etc. so it’s best to do some research on your features to see what kind of looks what suit you best! i also recommend looking up tutorials of people with similar features to you so you can see how certain makeup looks would appear on you and just overall youtube tutorials will be your best friend!!!
next, if you don’t already, please take care of your skin!! skincare is essential to have your makeup looking good and not damaging your skin. you don’t need a super complicated routine at all, just washing your face, a cleanser, toner, serum, and moisturizer will do! but please see what kind of skin type you have, and if your skin needs more than that, feel free to adjust accordingly!
last tip for now is drugstore makeup is so so good and i cant stress this enough!! esp if your just starting out, it’s the best to be able to use affordable makeup! elf, maybelline, covergirl, & loreal are some of my fav brands! please please please check out your local cvs! they have so many good dupes of popular products for the fraction of the price!!
that’s all for now gorgeous! if you have any more specific makeup or fashion related questions feel free to shoot me an ask!! i’ll be more than happy to respond 💗
omg yesss i can’t find a style of eyeliner that looks good on my eyes and i hate it so much. i feel like i have such a skewed perception of my face that i don’t even really know what i look like at this point is that makes sense??
and for my skincare i def need a more powerful moisturizer because one of my acne medications that i got like a year ago still dries out my face So Much (i also have no idea what type of skin i have like dry or oily and now it feels too late to ask anyone because it’s embarrassing that i don’t know)

Discover the Transformative Power of Korean Beauty
If you're tired of beauty products that overpromise and underdeliver, it's time to explore the world of Korean beauty. Unlike many Western routines that aim for quick fixes, K-beauty is grounded in prevention, hydration, and lasting skin health. The result? Naturally glowing, youthful skin—often called the glass skin effect.
But what sets Korean beauty products apart? And why are skincare experts across the globe praising them?
A Beauty Philosophy Focused on Nourishment, Not Concealment
At the heart of Korean beauty is a philosophy that treats your skin gently and provides it with what it truly needs—hydration, nourishment, and consistency. Instead of covering imperfections, K-beauty works to improve skin gradually through gentle, skin-friendly formulations that protect your barrier and restore balance.
Leading dermatologists and skincare professionals recommend Korean beauty routines for their layered, thoughtful approach. Rather than one heavy cream, you apply multiple lightweight products that work together to deeply hydrate, brighten, and rejuvenate your skin.
Korean Beauty Ingredients That Actually Work
What makes Korean beauty stand out is its use of smart, innovative ingredients that are both effective and backed by science and tradition. Some of the most praised ingredients include:
Snail mucin – Promotes healing and boosts hydration
Centella Asiatica – Calms irritation and inflammation
Green tea – Fights free radicals with rich antioxidants
Fermented extracts – Enhance skin texture and resilience
These ingredients are usually found in gentle formulas that deliver visible results while being suitable for sensitive skin.
The Customizable Korean Beauty Routine
Whether you're in your 20s or 50s, there's a Korean beauty routine that fits your lifestyle. The popular 10-step method isn’t a strict rule—it’s a flexible guide that can be tailored to your skin type and goals.
Here’s a typical K-beauty routine layout:
Oil Cleanser – Melts away makeup and sunscreen
Water-Based Cleanser – Removes leftover dirt and sweat
Exfoliator – Clears dead skin (1–2 times a week)
Toner – Balances and preps the skin
Essence – Hydrates and enhances absorption
Serum – Treats specific concerns like dark spots or fine lines
Sheet Mask – Deeply hydrates (2–3 times weekly)
Eye Cream – Reduces puffiness and dark circles
Moisturizer – Seals in hydration
Sunscreen – Shields against UV rays (daytime only)
You don’t have to use all 10 steps every day. Starting with 4–5 core products and gradually expanding is a smart and manageable way to embrace Korean beauty.
