Making my mom's famous, can't-be-assed-to-cook zucchini soup for dinner!

Except I can't get a hold of zucchini, so I'm using frozen butternut squash, which... Is in the same vegetable family. It'll be fine! Just pour a kilo into a pot with a large chopped onion and--

Frozen butternut squash from the store comes in 750g bags. Uhhh...

Carrots can be substituted for pumpkin-y and sweet potato things in savory, cooked foods! I've got frozen carrots!

I've got... 110 g of frozen carrots.

In the freezer are peas, which are the wrong color, mushrooms, which are the wrong flavor and... Cauliflower???

You can make my mom's zucchini soup with broccoli instead of zucchini, and cauliflower is basically ghost broccoli so into the soup you go! Look at me, using up the last bits in the freezer!

Now we just cover with water, add at least 3 stock cubes, boil until tender and blend with a tub of flavored cream cheese.

...I may have asked for two tubs of cream cheese on the grocery list.

But we have a second cooking pot.
