And by that I mean intelligent, ambitious, unhinged, disgustingly educated but hyperfeminine, that knows how to fight magnifically and are mad science smart queens that would do what is needed to get what they want and need, and their husband/boyfriend supporting and following them around like lovesick puppies.

thinking about being domestic. <3

thinking about doing something as simple as the laundry, talking to one another as the both of you fold the clothes. the tv plays softly in the background, nothing more than background noise to fill the silences between your words.

thinking about taking turns doing the dishes—neither of you really enjoy doing them, but you split the work. some days are cheat days, but they alwats get done eventually. on bad days you do them together, one drying and putting away, the other washing them.

thinking about cleaning the house together. you start by clearing out the fridge, asking him how long ago the two of you ordered the pizza that was tucked into the top shelf, only for him to not remember, either. you clean off the counters and the table, going through the mail, cleaning the bathroom. it's a team effort to keep the place clean.

think about going to the grocery store. the two of you having playful arguments over what to get, which cereals are better, and who will cook what. he might have a recipe he found that sounds good, and so you two find all of the ingredients for it. the both of you wonder what you need refills on—laundry or dish soup, toothpaste, hand soap, etc.

The kids (and Robin) are banned from joining the weekly Munson-Harrington movie night. It used to be a movie night for the entire Party until the kids ruined it.

Lucas wanted Steve’s opinion on who the hottest Clue character was. He expected him to back him up with Miss Scarlet as opposed to Dustin’s vote of Mrs. Peacock and Max’s vote of Mrs. White.

No one expected him to say, “Wadsworth, for sure. I’ve seen his legs in fishnets and he’s no Eddie but he’s up there.”

There was a moment of silence before Eddie started choking on air in shock and Robin started yelling at him to take back what he said about Miss Scarlett because, “are you looking at her in that dress, Steve? What the hell do you mean Wadsworth?! Look at her shoulders, Steve! I’d date her in a heartbeat, what do you mean?!”

That’s the story of how Steve outed him and Eddie and how Robin outed herself. So now movie nights are just between Steve and Eddie because Eddie can’t trust him to keep his movie opinions to himself and he does not want a repeat of the Clue disaster.

Inspired by the song below 🌸

Steve and Robin deciding they need to have some semblance of a normal college student life instead of spending every night watching movies together eating popcorn on their couch. So they resolve to go out on a Friday and end up in a club not knowing there would be live music. They queue outside and raise a skeptical eyebrow when paying what looks like a very overpriced ticket, but they never go out so they think it's normal even if unfair and then find themselves front row for this up and coming band debuting their first full album live.

Enter this very technical very only instrumental, very genre-bending band with hot-as-hell guitarist Eddie "nimblefingers" Munson shredding like there's no tomorrow. But wait they have a feat. with another young alt/hyperpop artist called Chrissy who incidentally is also Eddies's bff, incredibly cute and totally Robin's type.

Steve will have his eyes glued to Eddie's hands for the entire show and Robin will nearly faint as soon as Chrissy says that breathy "fuck" at the end of the first verse.

Steve and Robin will later agree that they both never felt less straight than that night, that being a groupie is not that bad if you're older than 21 and consent, end up top listeners to both artists at the end of the year with jointed fan accounts on all social platforms and will never miss another gig manifesting vip passes everytime the band does a giveaway on IG.

Some more fic recs cause I'm obsessed and these are all really good.

The Fishbowl by LordLuxury - basically Bruce is a dick which I don't usually go for but it's really good, and he's terrible to Dick and the batfam witnesses him treating Dick like shit and hitting him for the first time and it becomes a whole thing. It's great. 10/10.

2. Look Right Through Me by Teaberry - Stranger Things fic where Steve is trapped in the Upside Down a few months before will and nobody really notices. Will and Steve friendship, no bashing.

3. this place of wrath and tears - and the sequel - my head is bloody, but unbowed by NorthernRanger - Harry goes back in time to 1979 where he gains the attention of Death Eaters, Order members and pretty much all of the British wizarding world by kicking ass. Alastor Moody sort of becomes a weird ass teenager's dad. Not actually, but whatever. Love it. 10/10.

4. Facade by Impravidus - Destiel with Castiel being a very religious man and Dean having been raised to believe in killing supernatural creatures by his serial killer father. It's an idea I've thought about before and am so glad to see it written. 10/10.

5. Miracles Don't Exist by sameuspegasus - Supernatural and House MD crossover where Dean seems to have a case of continuously coming back from the dead and everyone is confused. 10/10.

6. Sand Dollar Child by withay - basically people and other think that Percy's a god cuz he's just that guy. 10/10. Maybe rating everything 10/10 isn't the way to go but whatever. I only speak the truth.

7. An Hour of Wolves by solvskrift - Harry's sixth year where Harry is once again going through some shit. Romilda Vane is a nasty bitch who deserves a crucio to the face and love potions should be fucking illegal. Incomplete but a really good read.

8. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - AU Rewrite by killtherat - Harry's kidnapped by Voldemort and his buddies. I honestly don't remember anything else but I know it was amazing so give it a read. 10/10 boom.

9. The Second String by Eider_Down - time travel to the Marauders' era but then it turns out to also be dimension travel. Harry is a badass. I don't really remember much about this one either but it's one of my favorite Harry Potter fics so. 10/10.

10. Three's Family by darkbluedark - Harry and Draco accidentally time travel to the first war and get caught and interrogated by Sirius, James and Dumbledore. It's mostly humour, bickering and some angst. Amazing. I honestly reread it a bunch of time. 10/10.

11. Fishing in Alaska by CaffeeinatedFlumadiddle - one of the best and funniest fics ever, truly. Triton and Percy (and Kymopoliea, did I spell her name right?) are sibling goals. Percy's powers are even more destructive than usual and the gods are worried. He runs off to Alaska cuz fuck them. It's great. 11/10.

@steddiemas Day 18: A Christmas Carol & Rockin Around the Christmas Tree

Steve softly sang along to the radio as he danced around the kitchen finishing dinner. One of his favourite things about Christmas was the music, he didn't care that it was cheesy, he loved it.

"Rockin around the Christmas tree, it's a happy holiday," he sang as he heard Eddie get home from work. Business at the shop had slowed down with people driving around less as they stayed in for the holidays. They had enough money to make it through the season though.

"Hey, sweetheart, this smells delicious, thank you," Eddie said kissing Steve's cheek as he handed him his plate.

"Made your favourite," Steve smiled.

The two boys got cosy on the couch, clicking on the TV. The end of A Christmas Carol was playing, Scrooge was seeing his grave.

"You know we can kinda thank this movie a bit for getting my head on right," Steve said. Eddie turned to look at him questioningly.

"After I dropped Dustin off at the Snow Ball I ended up at the theatre and it was one of the only not-horror movies playing that night. I thought it'd be a fun Christmas movie and get the demodogs out of my head," Steve continued, in the background Scrooge was asking the young boy what day it was.

"Obviously not the cute little story I thought it'd be, and I don't know I think I just saw a bit of the old me in Scrooge, freaked me out a bit, made sure I accepted Claudia's invitation to Christmas dinner next time I saw her," he finished.

"Well I can happily say you're not Scrooge, baby," Eddie said cuddling into his side more. Steve smiled softly as the credits played and they waited to see what would play next, yeah, his Christmas future was much brighter.

I think the steve harrington stans ought to consider brenton thwaites’s dick grayson. yes because of the rv scene. the young-adult-with-teenaged-children dynamic. the big brown eyes, the moles, the fancy hair —
