What's your spin on the tiger miraculous?

I've always been rather nebulous on what it means in canon so I just embrace the whole "Fire" thing it was given and give Roar dominion of the concept of ignition, covering sparks, flames and of course, mother fucking stars >:3

Which could also go all inversion and lead to black holes, or not.

This is what Siluri and I came up with! (For now, subject to change if needed lol). It draws on both the popular fanon powers of invisibility (zivazivc's camouflage being an example that comes to mind), as well as the Clout power seen in canon.

I think this does a good job of tying them up in a neat bow, lol. The urgency of the strike works to keep the OP-ness of invisibility in check—You can go invisible, but you're a ticking time bomb while you do. Perfect magical-girl-ification of tiger ambush powers.

Couffaine twin kwami swap! I’ve had this idea for a while and I finally did it.

Julekas hair is supposed to resemble the hood do a cobra and I changed her weapon to a whip because I think the lyre is really stupid because 1.) how do you fight with it? 2.) not used in activating the power like the yo-yo and flute, and 3.) not related to snakes. I figured a whip would be far more useful in a fight and also looks like a snake.

I probably could have been more creative with luka but I feel like he came out okay. I changed the stripes from the warm plum color that purple tigress had to a cooler more blue toned purple. I really like his mask since my one complaint about purple tigresses design is that her mask is kind of boring and plain despite tigers having a tone of markings and characteristics on their faces.

I don’t know what they’re names would be any ideas?

Also I’m working on hawkmoths redesign now and I’m pretty happy with it so far.

Juleka time! I love the idea that she specifically chose a name similar to Chat Noir's because she admires him. He's her role model, and she tries to push herself to face her fears with his level of confidence.

Reflecta's weird head thing confuses me, so I originally planned to give her space buns just to reference it. But she ended up looking better with her hair down. I based her dress in part on glam punk fashion. She shares a few colors with Silencer (because akuma twins) I also added a shattered mirror detail to her dress and face because- well, reflections. Then add a skeleton design to her mouth to further tie her in with Silencer, as well as reference the Bloody Mary game. Again because reflections.

Purple Tigress is a bad bitch. We all know it. As much as I like her ponytail I though with LB, QB,and RR all having ponytails I needed to add some variety into the extended cast. So I tucked her hair up to show her face fully.

Since Juleka doesn't have too much to do outside of her time as Purple Tigress or Reflekta her story is mostly open. Her relationship with Rose is almost entirely unchanged.

I think I have to go back and work on Chloe, she's swung too far from her cannon self. As such I can't figure out how episodes like Reflecta would work, although I suppose Juleka could just legit be cursed...

The biggest difference is the powers. Were changing from Clout to a more Sucker Punch esk move. The tiger miraculous user becomes difficult to detect. Not invisible but camouflaged to the degree they can sneak up on their enemies if skilled enough. If they touch anything alive or break concentration the camo will drop.

Once close enough they can call to release the disguise and all of the power goes into one blow. As such the tiger miraculous holders tend to have a much shorter time before detransformation, even after training. It's risking it all for the chance to take the opponent down in one strike.

Juleka knows when to stay hidden and when to make her voice heard. Which makes her a great Tiger.

Felt like doing a randomized kwami swap and so here’s Chloé with the tiger miraculous! I tried to use a brighter pink colour then the fuchsia of Purple Tigresses suit, and I think it turned out okay!

So remembered an animatic that said every Ladybug holder was destined to abandon their Black Cat and they'd never see each other again. So I quickly threw together a set of curses for all the Chinese Box.

Ladybug - They are destined to always die alone with their goals unaccomplished

Black Cat - They are fated to always be abandoned by the person they hold closest

Fox - They are fated to always destroy the person they love most

Turtle - When it counts most they won’t be able to protect those they hold most dear

Bee - They are fated to drive others away at their most vulnerable

Butterfly - They are fated to have their good intentions twisted sour

Peacock - They are fated to put their faith and love into the wrong person and destroy themselves

Snake - At the end of things, they will always end up alone

Dragon - They are fated to never have the strength they most need

Bunny - They are destined to see the worst fates of their friends repeat over and over again with no chance to save them

Tiger - They are destined to always squeeze too tight and break those they love

Pig - Their kindness and desire to help will be their downfall

Mouse - They are fated to feel the weight of every task and eventually be crushed by it

Ox - They are cursed to be destroyed by their own growing doubt

Horse - They are fated to always be a moment too slow and be ruined by it

Monkey - Their happiness will come at the cost of the misery of others

Goat - They will be consumed by their passion and desires

Dog - They will devote their lives to a goal and only in their last moments realize they were wrong

Rooster - The people they hold closest will be unreachable

My rough idea is that the Miraculous of the Chinese Miracle Box are so powerful that their magic naturally backlashes onto the user in the form of a curse. So if someone wears a Miraculous for too long, they will be doomed to the curse even if they take it off.

I give you, a mlb Chloe!AU where she steals 4 miraculous (Dog, Tiger, Fox and Rabbit), dons the name of Thylacine and travels back in time (S5-6) to act as an anti-hero to save herself from her future [she wants to go extinct by fixing her future - thats dark but yeah].

Why? idk. but Look at the somewhat cool design xD

Purple tigress redesign. I actually love her original design but I added a little jacket, boots, fur accents, more detail to the mask to match the facial markings of a Tiger, and I made the hair around her face a bit fluffier since that’s where tigers have fluff around their faces.

In celebration of the Guardian Hero reaching 100 chapters- let's have a few designs people have mentioned in the comments!

Tama-Tori wasn't really requested, but I had an idea for peacock Izuku (Outside his The Guardian persona) and wanted to draw him. Love tapping into the peacocks greens. Also, nice little peek at Izuku's go-to senti-monster.

Tora-Terror, Jirou with the tiger makes sense, their vibes match up really well. I thought giving her cat/tiger ear gamer headphones would be funny, so I did that. She also has knucklebusters on her gloves, so when she punches you into the sun she can break all the bones in your face while at it.

Shout out to my friend for Atomouse for Mouse Hagakure. She pointed out that atoms are tiny and invisible to the naked eye, but still there, so it fit both her powers. I thought it would be funny to just draw the suit, but I couldn't forsake the mouse hair buns, so I just made that layer transparent. This was also my first time seeing her actual design and- man, she's a bit of a mess, I love her.

Oisbijou! My boy! His name came from bashing together the french words for Bird (Oiseau) and Jewel (Bijou). I waned to just cover him with sparkly shit, so his shout is based on ice dancers, and has both rhinestones and glitter!

Haymaker and Sleipnir! If Uraraka is a workhorse, Iida is one of those horse rich fuckers own. Not to say he can't fight, just that he's fancier about it. You may recognize Haymaker from this set of sketches. Sleipnir was another recommended name, albeit for a different character. It felt like it fit with his mobility theme, especially for this.

And finally- uh I really like Amajiki and hado. At least in everything episode I've seen them in so far. I thought having a very nervous butterfly being partnered with a very excitable dragon would be funny. I don't think you can super tell it's Amajiki, but I blame that on his face being covered. he actually has his face paint- metal- whatever the thing on his face is! And his hair is the exact same.

I couldn't resist turing Hado's hair spirals into horns, and then regretted that choice when it took me like 4 times to get the shape I wanted. Her undersuit looks similar to her hero one, just in the dragons colors. And her jacket has a scale and wing motif on it, just with the latter being on the back.

Oh and uh- bonus bonus- have some villain butterfly Inko. As a treat. A gift if you will...

Tiger! Marinette joins the party as we are one more design away from stopping the design process and get into the art part! I wanted her to have the orange color scheme but then that would clash with Mistress Tigress’s colors and pink looks good on her so yay!
