The audacity of some of y'all to cancel LiS 2 simply because it doesn’t feature any wlw characters in it is just so fucking laughable.

LiS was never specifically made for that audience. It was simply a compelling story meant to bring together those who share similar interests. It also just so HAPPENS that the game features several wlw characters. Nothing less and nothing more. You’re acting as if this game was branded as The L Word for the gaming industry when it wasn’t. I would understand your frustrations if LiS had solely focused on a certain demographic of people for multiple games, and then switched it up later on, but it didn’t. 

Also, you guys don’t even realize how fake af you sound right now. You guys couldn’t give two shits about the 3+ years of hard work and dedication that a small studio like Dontnod has put into their craft. The moment you find out that you can’t play as a girl who romances another girl, you suddenly want to throw the whole game away. It really shows how much you’ve reduced this game to some sort of love simulator, although, romantic love was NEVER a central theme in this damn game.

And you know what? I’m about to call y’all out on something else, too. Your reactions show how a lot of minorities (*cough* white lesbians *cough*) who pretend to be adamant about how the media needs to be more diverse, actually do not care about diversity for all unless it benefits them. This game has two Mexican-American boys, portrayed in non-stereotypical ways, as its leads; this is something very uncommon in the gaming industry, but you choose to overlook that fact because they’re *in my whiny voice* “cis-het males, ew.” I’m not even Mexican, but as a black girl who feels like black girls and women are rarely and negatively represented in media, I can understand why this would mean so much to someone who is Mexican or Latino. 

Honestly, I’m not opposed to any of you guys leaving. The majority of you guys complaining about this game are the same radical Pricefield shippers who have turned this fandom into a toxic shit fest because of your entitlement. Literally, no one wants you guys here. We’ve wanted you guys gone for a long time. So if you really want to go, then GO.
