I have ninety-nine pairs (lying) and only one pair comes from a psychiatric hospitalization, the rest come from countless ER trips that often lead to multi-day admittances for various chronic physical ailments

Got out of my mom’s car today during a massive thunder storm. Tripped, fell and, in rapid succession: 1. broke my sunglasses 2. ripped my bag’s strap 3. launched my phone into a puddle deep enough to submerge it 4. scratched the SHIT out my leg open where my healed but tender tattoo is 5. landed in a silty, muddy puddle and got soaked we were about an hour from home (and it was longer due to the driving conditions) so here’s a friendly reminder to try and keep a care kit in your car for emergencies, both minor and beyond :) cause damn life comes at you fast

1 sock mended. i gotta weave in the ends still but ill do that after i fix the next 2 socks. i have 2 more pairs in need of mending but i think if i just get these 2 pairs back into circulation itll feel a little less like 'i have no socks anymore'

plus i got those sunset ones in progress so i cant wait for that

I hate shoes sizing

I bought a pair that in EU size was a 37.5 which according to the conversion was the same size I wear in Mexican or US size. (Although tbh I wear from 36 to 38 depending on the brand).

Well, they’re slightly too small. They fit better if I put on my ankle brace but they’re ballerina shoes so it looks kinda weird. And I mean they do fit anyway without it, but they’re uncomfortable if I wear them for too long, so they’ve been used only for short outings until now (if I didn’t like them too much I could’ve given them to my sister but I’m still unsure).

Anyway for my upcoming birthday, I bought a different pair from the same brand but in 38 (only half a size bigger). And they are huge. Granted, these are sneakers but they are too big anyway. It doesn’t look like half a size, it’s literally like one or two bigger. And they’re so wide, they so look weird and idk if I like them yet.
