Snippet Sunday!

was going back and forth about whether to post something from this weekend's work on the codywan siege fic wip and then @elwenyere put open tags on her own post and so I said, why not:

Obi-Wan swallows. “Commander,” she greets. He’s got his helmet off and tucked under his arm, so she can see his expression change when he nods at her, eyes darting to her cheek and then over the rest of her, like she might be hiding some other, more major injury.

He meets her eyes again. “The medics are back that way,” he says, but the transport has already started moving up the valley.

“It’s just a graze. Wouldn’t want to take up their valuable resources,” she says, and when he gives her that deeply unimpressed look she adds, “I have a bacta patch up at the house.”

“Just one?” he says, stone cold. Obi-Wan’s mouth twists, and she realizes she’d been giving him that same professional smile she’d pasted on for the others.

idea: bucktommy squabble over nothing when their laundry gets mixed up and one of them cares less and they wear eo clothes and it's not a big deal most times, they love seeing each other in eo clothes, but then one of them is looking for his favorite pair of underwear or smth stupid and gets annoyed (maybe on edge bc of other stuff and it's the last straw, *cough* buck working under gerrard *cough*) and they argue about it but it's so ridiculous in the end they just laugh it all off

idk, just give me bucktommy having a small inconsequential squabble that's so ridiculous and lighthearted lol

just buck coming to work all annoyed and everyone's like "what happened" and Buck is like "he always takes the last clean pair of socks" or smth lol

Genuinely exited to knit socks again now that i have finally finished all my other projects! 🐱🧡 - im trying out this 'summer sock yarn' by hobbii since it use cotton instead of the usual superwash wool which my skin cant handle at all sadly... anyone else tried it already??
