It's been one month.

One month of Healing.

When azriel left, I told myself that I will not contact him until I'm ready. Doesn't matter how much I'm missing him or wanting him. I will not talk to him until I know I won't take him back the second I see him again.

I gave myself two days. Two days to sulk all I wanted. I spent the whole time crying and feeling miserable about myself. Before Az left at least, I wasn't by myself. At least I saw him once a day.

Now? Nothing.

I am totally alone. His absence hit me Hard. Everything I saw, almost brought me to my knees.

The kitchen where we would make dinner together, laughing and joking with each other that many times ended with us covered in flour and syrup.

The couch where we would sit cuddling and talking until we fell asleep, always waking up with strained muscles.

His office where he would sit on his chair in front of his desk, writing out reports and whatnot while I sit in his armchair reading my book. Just enjoying each others company and occasionally taking breaks to make out on the very deck, and then some.

After those dreadful days though, I called Feyre and Mor and had a very much needed girls night. We took out a wine bottle and I spilled everything to them. My mind was too drunk to think my feelings about Elain might offend Feyre but she genuinely felt sad for me and embarrassed about her sister. The poor girl even apologised to my about Elain's behavior to which I immediately told her it wasn't her fault.

When I told them how lonely it got being alone in a big house like this, they suggested maybe I should get a job or something to keep my mind distracted and promised that they'll visit me often. So I did juat that.

I found a part time job at a local library. I have to admit, I'm really enjoying it. I'm the second assistant to the sweetest lady, Hilda, who owns the shop. I don't do much, just help her in small things like adjusting books on self or helping in shipping books out or in. Layla, the first assistant, handles most of the work around the shop. My job is basically doing what she asks of me. The salary isn't much but I don't care because it's never been about money.

The first week was very hard. Everyday after I came home, the silence felt like a slap on the face, reminding me of everything I lost.

But, slowly, I became comfortable with it. Now it's doesn't hurt me as it did before.

There were many times when I think of Azriel, tears filled my eyes, but I never let them free. I sucked them in and did anything else that didn't made me cry, like taking baths, baking my favorite chocolate brownies, reading in front of the fire place while drinking hot coco or calling my friends to take me shopping.

And as time went. I started to heal. I started to feel good, happier with myself. And without even realizing it, I started to love myself.

It's been one month.

One month of regretting everything I did to my mate.

I've spent my whole month sulking in this room, crying and regretting everytime I chose Elain over my wife. I haven't slept at all since I came here, just enough to keep me functioning. My appetite is gone. I don't eat unless Rhys come and force feeds me like I'm some baby.

I told Rhysand and Cassian everything the first morning i stayed here. Which earned me a flick to head by Cassian and a very disappointed look from Rhys. Even though they didn't give me any scolding(which I very much deserved), the flick and expression said enough.

Rhys has refrained me of any work, handling it himself or having someone else do it. While I have been sitting around here and hating myself. It seems like even my mind has declared itself an enemy, showing me memories of everytime I dismissed Y/N and hurt her in any way at most random times, cutting a deeper cut in my heart everytime.

"Hey Az, I was thinking if we could go out for dinner tonight? There is this new amazing restaurant I saw while walking near Sidra. I really want to try it." She told me as I put on my coat, ready to go.

"I can't, I have a mission for today. Rhys told me it's important so I can't skip. We'll go some other time. Okay?"

"Ok."

I could hear the excitement in her voice when she asked me and the hurt when I rejected her and promised to go another time. The time never came. She never asked again. And I never noticed.

"Az, are you awake?" She whispers in the dead of night. Both of us sleeping on the bed. My back to her, hoping to fall asleep quickly because I have early training tomorrow.

Cassian is spending time with Nesta more, so Rhys has told me to go to an illyrian camp to check how things are going. I have to wake and go there early to catch them off guard to see what's truly going on.

I can't do that if Y/N doesn't let me sleep.

I didn't answer her that night, hoping if i dont respond, she'll think im asleep and doesnt call me again. She really didnt call me again. I prioritized my sleep over her. Her voice sounded so small. She needed me. And I didn't care.

"So, I saw a really cute baby in garden today and..." I drone out her babbling and try to quickly I can get out of here, I promised Elain to help in her garden today. She'll be disappointed if I show up late.

"Az? You're listening to me right?" She suddenly questions, I clear my throat and answer a small, of course, she nods and takes a deep breath, not saying anything anymore. I sign in relief of the silence.

I put my head in my hands and tug hard on my hair, wanting to feel hurt, hurt the kind that she clearly felt and I didn't care.

I hate myself more and more as memories flash through my mind. I can't even cry at this point. I wished she'd hit me when we fought. Slaped and paunched some sense into me. I don't blame her at all for not talking to me. Gods, I wouldn't even blame her if she left me. I deserve it.

He shifts to get comfortable again, lying on his side. He doesn't dare to take his eyes off the sleeping angel next to him. You curl into him so perfectly at any angle, it amazes him every time.

Reaching over, Leon strokes your cheek with his calloused hand, cradling your jaw. Careful not to wake you up at such an ungodly hour as it's almost 5am. Even though he knew he'd need to be up soon to start his normal morning routine. And to start prepping for his flight at 11am.

Glancing around the bedroom you two shared, he yawns softly, admiring your features in the soft glow of the soon-to-be morning sun. Moving in closer, he gives you a loving kiss on the forehead.

Just like everytime he woke up before you.

Looking down, he smiles, seeing you're still out like a light, completely unbothered by his touch in the slightest.

Leon chuckles, kissing your face a few times, admiring how beautiful you look, even when you're drooling on his trapped arm under you.

The loud buzzing of the alarm clock behind him breaks the silence of the room.

Bedrock Headcannons: Commander Wolffe

Bedrock headcannons are headcannons that I regard as a fact in the personality of a character I write about. They range from small details to a huge part of a character's backstory. These headcannons are a constant underlayer in all of my fics that involve these characters.

Wolffe knew after all his men died something had to be done but he didn't know what. So, he didn't sleep much during the weeks following the events of the Maleovance because everytime he closed his eyes he saw their faces, his face, dead in space. When he started being able to sleep through the night, he found it plagued with nightmares.

When Wolffe lost his eye, Plo Koon and the three of them were on leave on Coruscant. He knew Wolffe wasn't healing as fast as he should be, so Plo actually had Wolffe moved to the temple and that is where he did most of his recovery.

Plo would take Wolffe to go walk around the temple with him and it was during those weeks that Wolffe accidentally referred to Plo as his father.

If you bring that up he'll start getting all embarrassed and ramble on about how he was on pain meds all the time and his brain was still foggy.

Wolffe was a very shy cadet and even now, he doesn't know how he ended up as a commander. When he's by himself, when he's vulnerable, it's only then he'll admit that he's far too soft for any of this. He was created for war but he isn't made for war.

Fox and Wolffe were batch mates and whenever Wolffe is on Coruscant he'll spend time helping the guard. When Wolffe was at the temple healing, Fox undertook every assignment posted there (he hated it) but his brother needed him so there he was. If this had happened later in the war, Fox wouldn't have even stopped by once.

Wolffe does refer to bacta tanks as the aquarium of death and Plo is greatly concerned.

If you ask Wolffe why he chose the BARC helmet, he'll say it's because it looks cool. But he choose it because they limit visibility and only focus on what's in front; Wolffe, after he got his cybernetic eye, found himself getting sensory overloaded from all his eye could see and register, the BARC helmet reduces that.

Ahsoka and Wolffe have been thrown together a couple times by will of Plo Koon. Ahsoka is used to Rex and Cody, who are a hundred more times sure of themselves than Wolffe. She wants to go sneak out and cause trouble, things Cody and Rex jump at the chance to do with her, but Wolffe just doesn't want to. And Ahsoka doesn't understand why not. She understsnds the pain of Cody and Rex, but not Wolffe's.

He's scared all the time. Walking to the refresher, getting food at the mess, with every breath, he shakes from how scared he is. He's anticipating something to happen, for the loud boom of their ship exploding. When he's on the bridge, he doesn't breath. The trauma he faced after the Maleovance stunned him, it took months and him attacking Sinker for them to realize just how deeply he still lived in that day. Plo blames himself for not noticing sooner. Wolffe was his child and he didn't see it, Plo never forgave himself for missing all of Wolffe's pain.

He started to become cold and off putting really after he lost his eye, he'd never felt worse. Plo did everything he could to help Wolffe, but the only way for Wolffe to move on from all the horrors he'd faced recently, was to bury his old self. He might've been the type to joke, but now he's too scared to laugh because all that pain would come running back.

Wolffe is mortified of hugs because the last time he hugged someone, Plo Koon, he started crying; Plo brought him hot chocolate. (He was on a lot of pain killers and sleep deprived)

Like, the Red Head Pirates goes to the Baratie and meet the chef, Red Leg Zeff, who has his adopted son in the ship. The little boy is respectfull and always wants to help. And Shanks just- starts to talk and play with the boy. They come to the restaurant often because of how much good the food is and everytime, Shanks plays with the kid.

Zeff also talks A LOT about his son, pround of how he is good at cooking and fighting. The Red Head Pirates ends up don't going to the Baratie for like, 2 or 3 years, and when they come again, Shanks notice the boy isn't there, Zeff tells Sanji is in the crew of some rubber boy with a Straw Hat and Shanks is like "THIS BOY IS MY SON-!" and they start to talk about everything who happened.

Bonus: Zeff starts to talk about some boy who Sanji talks a lot in the letters and Yassop, who is near to them, just yells "THIS KID YOU'RE SAYING IS MY SON" and turns out they discover that the kids of all of them are in the same crew.

That's when Zeff talks about what he knows about his son's crew, because Shanks literally knows nothing besides the basics and what Mihawk told him about Zoro. (Making this about Sanuso because you can't say that Sanji talks a lot about Usopp and not expect me to write it like this).

Zeff: Kid got himself an interesting team. Green-haired guy that almost gets himself killed. Idiot. Eggplant hates his guts, or so he says, but he has never been too good at hiding shit so it's obvious he cares about the swordsman. He talks about a girl too. Loves her. Believes he's gonna marry her. Most precious thing in the world, he says. A treasure of navigator, apparently. Usually, he's annoying when it comes to women, but this is too much even for him. Shanks: Oh! Young love! Are you sure she isn't the reason why he joined them? Zeff: Nah, it was your kid. He's persuasive. And I wouldn't call it love. At least not with her. Shanks: Care to explain? Francis is Nacha's ex husband, nobody really knows why they broke up and probably never will. Anastacha don't know he's her father bit see him as her father figure. He's pretty happy being single, in fact, he's aroace, and happy with it.

Steven is currently dating Hannah, they are a pretty happy couple. Hannah is always very clingy with him and likes to pepper kiss him and leave kiss marks with her lipstick, making him quite flustered. They both are MADLY inlove.

McLooy:

He's happy being single, but he'll never forget the love of his life, Steven's mother. He was a huge romantic and just made his son quite like him. He will always be loyal to his love and will never date anyone else because all of the memory he has with his wife are the best he'll ever have.

Alf:

He's madly inlove with Raftellyn and loves to spoil her (that's just the way the old grandpa is <3). They are also opposites for other reasons, he's a very smiling type of man when his wife is more the type of person who likes to talk shit about everyone, but despise that he loves her.

Raftellyn:

She loves her husband, she finds him adorable and loves him a lot. She'll never talk shit about him and will always defend him. She is the type of woman who is very powerful and protective. She's also madly inlove and soft with him while she's bitter with everyone else.

Anas is inlove with Anastacha. He likes to give small things such as drawings, paper folding and other stuff to the doorman to give it to Anastacha. He axxtually makes her smile, but she's still not inlove.

Hannah:

Hannah is MADLY inlove with Steven. Always pepper kissing his face, cuddle him, play with his hair or massaging him when he has another back pain. She loves to take care of her lover and give him all her love.

The fact Sasuke Uchiha was equivalent to a school ooter and ALOT of ppl saying he was right is very hilarious. (Also I'm a fan of Sasuke I just hated the shippuden part of him cause he was sounding so fucking dumb when he's fighting Naruto)

Sasuke was so scared of love that he wanted to kill his "bff" over it cause Naruto never stopped loving him. "Never gave up on him" or "cut him off" the most love Sasuke ever felt was with Naruto that's why he was constantly reminded of his family and Itachi when he was with Naruto. Sasuke had to hate Itachi so he could be able to redeem his family so he was alone but Naruto would remind him of the good and the bad of what happened with his family . That's why he was so adamant on killing Naruto. He wanted to be fully alone cause// Sasuke was disguising his fear of love with the idea that he wanted to avenge Itachi and shit but to be fair Sasuke was lied to his whole life so I still understand why he went crazy asf and wanted to kill danzo but afterward he had to direct his anger towards something else so it was towards the leaf village. (He eliminated his brother's biggest enemy but he still chose to fight the leaf// that turned into him wanting to become "hokage")

Also to pivot back to the topic of Sasuke wanting to become the "most hated" or "take on all the hate" he was essentially trying to make himself into the next Madara and we see how that was turning out cause he was literally living it. Becoming the most hated is pointless when u are already surrounded by ppl that are trying to love u, but Sasuke again was terrified of it it's as if he thought he couldn't deserve that love as well. Like in the animation he is pained his face he makes trying to "not believe" Naruto and believe he could be back in the good graces of the leaf or feel loved like Naruto keeps telling him.

And then when they think they are both dead after their big fight , Sasuke looks and acts relieved that him and Naruto are together but dead. Naruto was the one freaking out about being dead while Sasuke isn't even trying to figure it out he's just chillin with Naruto lol. In a way, when he thought they were both dead Sasuke seemed like he was missing Naruto once he vanished (i guess when Naruto woke up)

Also Sasuke always freaks the fuck out everytime Naruto basically says "I WONT STOP LOVING U" and Sasuke is just like "PLEASE STOP LOVING ME LET ME BE ALONE" that's basically what it was. Platonic or romantic love I like the ideas of both. I have no preference towards shipping. Ship, laugh love.

Another thing I'm gonna say is so many ppl hate Sakura either they are misogynistic or they think she's a terrible character. 1) most of the shit ppl hated Sakura for was literally the SAME SHIT Naruto and or Sasuke had done in the show but no one cared when them two did said thing.

2) Sakura was never ever planning to kill Sasuke she would never have it in her to ever do that to him. Literally the first time Sasuke is leaving the leaf village Sakura is trying to say anything to make him stay and since she knows he's not gonna stay she just tells him "let me come with u" and it's like Sakura was smitten with love(cough cough* like Naruto). And funny enough ppl love to bring up how Sasuke found her annoying but he constantly said the same shit about Naruto ... why b/c they BOTH LOVED SASUKE. They both loved Sasuke just in very different ways and ppl don't talk about it at all.

ppl talk about how Sakura and Naruto both wanted Sasuke back but never notice how they show their love so differently. Sakura could never fight Sasuke, Naruto was ready to fight Sasuke no matter the cause NARUTO STATES THAT HE WOULD BREAK EVERY BONE IN SASUKES BODY IF IT MEANT HE WOULD DRAG HIM BACK TO THE LEAF VILLAGE . Sakura would've just either let him kill her or joined in b/c she just loved him that much.

3. Jealousy issues? From the two, John is the one that deals with jealousy more (a reason why he looks at Calahan weird, when he should be more worried about Leslie as competition and his feelings, if we're being honest), Sabrina isn't really about holding onto the past and who he has dated, etc. He could go as far as name dropping a person and she'd look at him and go: "Okay, and your point?" then crack a joke about him sinnin'.

Between her main wip and the au, I'd say AU Sabrina is more jealous, but even then it's not something extreme.

6. Double Date? Thoughts? Who?

Doable, but very prone to end in chaos:

Mercedes and Jacob: While the girls would absolutely get along, the Seeds would probably be delivering a dose of awkwardness. I feel like John would keep saying the wrong thing while Jacob just side eyes him and grunts out a response when it gets absolutely necessary to do so. Mer would roast the shit out of John, for sure, she kind of thrives on making people uncomfortable for kicks. Sabrina would try her hardest to stop the double date from ending in disaster.

Cal and Mary May: John would be on the verge of either getting killed or killing one or both of them, while Sabrina is regretting her choices. 😂The other ships aren't much better as option, either.

17. Morning rituals? Those two definitely compete in who would wake up first; snuggles until it's time for them to get up and start their day, coffee on his bedroom balcony (esp when it's chilly but not too cold, Sabrina loves the fresh air early in the mornings), breakfast (he's attempted to make it one time and it ended in disaster).

AU: if he's out of town or not sleeping over at her place, he'd call her so they can have a few minutes to themselves before going to work, otherwise they have a regular morning together, end up dropping Savannah at school before Sabrina heads to work and he sets on dealing with stuff regarding the impending trial.

18. Evening rituals?

Making dinner (John would mostly help around, making her and Savannah laugh), hanging by the fireplace (while Sabrina shoots daggers at Joseph’s portrait… one day she’d get actual darts and throw them, or straight up use her throwing knives and watch for his reaction) or outside while Sabrina plays her guitar, shower (with John butting in everytime, “We’re saving water, Deputy” -> “I though you were rich, Jonathan.”).

In the AU, she’d also probably force him to watch a TV show and he’d complain how she keeps guessing the bad guys (“You must have seen it before, Detective.”), dining out whenever they could.

I think it's so funny to imagine Darius and Willow having a frenemy-type relationship. Partly because Darius is just Like That with all children cuz ew children and partly because Willow is literally never going to get over their first meeting and refuses to let Darius forget it either.

She frequently reminds him of just how terribly he handled that whole situation. She's mad about how many hours it took her to wash his stupid abomination goo out of her hair. She cannot BELIEVE a grown man seriously botched what should have been such a simple task to such fantastically idiotic proportions. All he had to do was employ some basic communication skills. HOW did he fuck this up so bad? Willow isn't even all that angry. She doesn't really hold grudges (anymore) but she's so just astounded by his audacity that she can never let it go.

Everytime she gets started on this Darius is like "Really? Really? We're still on this, are we? Haven't you ever considered finding something else to get riled up about? I hear they're raising the price of griffin eggs. Where's the rage for the failing economy?? Kids these days get abducted on an evil government airship once and its all they talk about for the rest of their lives."

Darius never admits to any mistakes on his part and insists he had the situation entirely under control. But if she weren't in such a hurry to abandon ship...Oh, this gets Willow hopping mad. Darius will dig his heels in further until they're having a full blown debate.

Whenever the conversation even begins to steer in this direction, Hunter desperately attempts to change the subject. If he doesn't, he knows this could go on for hours.

They're fond of each other, they really are. And they enjoy the passive aggressive quip battles. But they'd never admit it.

Darius absolutely uses the nickname "Little Princess" for Willow and he says it with a smile but god....GOD, so much bitchiness in his tone. Its wonderful.

"Darius." Willow will greet him in return, also smiling sweetly and her tone makes his name sound the way cursive looks. And he immediately knows she's calling him a bitch too.

Oh Willow loves to be a little shit and get under Darius's skin. She loves it so much. And Darius, in turn, likes to exaggerate what a pest she is.

Hunter will be staying at his place and Darius will answer the door to Willow.

"Uck. You again." He says, exasperated.

"Me again :)" Chirps Willow, delighted that she received such an On Brand Darius greeting. "I am Hunter's girlfriend after all :)"

"Yes, I'm well aware of that. You won't shut up about it."

"And I don't intend to :) Would you be a sweetie and fetch him for me? :)"

"Do I look like a butler to you?"

"No. You look like a maid :) I really like your frilly apron :)"

"Alright alright, give it a rest. I'll go get him."

Darius loves to insist that Willow is a terrible influence on Hunter, though he doesn't actually believe a word of what he says. Darius puts a lot of value on spunk and rebelliousness and has never believed in that "kids should respect their elders" nonsense. No, kids should should always speak their mind. At least that's what he always did as a kid. Darius has never been all that impressed by manners and obedience.

Willow is wild. She's outspoken. She's got flair. She's tough. She's confident. Quite frankly, she reminds him a lot of himself. And he truly hopes her best traits will rub off on Hunter. He has no intention of ever saying it aloud (maybe some day. If he is talked into doing a wedding speech of some sort.) but he believes they're a perfect match. They bring out the best in each other.

Although that won't stop him from groaning loudly and being like "Must you do this now?" When Willow gives her boyfriend affection while Darius is standing right there. Come on!! Come on!!! He doesn't need to see this!!!

"Ohhhhh I'm sooo sorry," Willow says with a theatric pout, still cupping Hunter's face after smushing her lips to his cheek. "This is just what wicked girlfriends do. They kiss in public :( Can't be helped :(" Because she thinks getting called a terrible influence is the funniest shit ever.

Willow especially likes to roast Darius when Hunter is around because she loves making him laugh. And like. He will sincerely TRY to hold back giggles when she's joking at Darius's expense and Willow considers that a challenge. So the three of them will be having dinner together and Willow will be cracking jokes, Darius will be making the most ridiculously offended expressions and noises and Hunter will just be suffering. Just trying to hide his face in his hands, his whole frame buckling, desperately trying not to burst into hysterics.

Then Willow is like "What's the deal with your hair? It looks like a lava lamp." And Hunter completely fucking loses it.

Darius blinks. "What's a lava lamp?"

That only makes Hunter laugh harder.

"He'll suffocate because of you." He says dryly to Willow. "And then you'll be sorry."

But if Darius is being honest....he likes that she makes him laugh so hard. He might have been exaggerating his faces just to add to The Bit. He's pretty sure Willow had figured that out.

I'm recycling this as something we talked about on discord once. So, in the same vein that Willow won't let their first meeting go, Darius also has his own incident where Willow fucked up and he never lets her forget it.

At some point after she and Hunter started dating, she came down with the common mold. And you know how that is. She got super loopy and clingy. And when Hunter showed up at her place to check up on her (being warned by her dads to keep his distance) she was immediately "Hunterrrrrr!!! I love you!!! Kisses?? Can I have kisses??? I haven't seen you in a DAY and I MISSED YOU and I want to KISS YOU. I think if I don't get kisses I'll DIE!!!" And like. What was Hunter supposed to do? You think he has the willpower to say no to that? Really? Honestly?

Anyway it just so happened that Hunter was scheduled to stay at Darius's place that weekend. And so sick cranky moody disgusting germ bucket Hunter immediately became Darius's problem.

Obviously Willow showed up to see her lovely boyfriend and the moment she stepped into the house, Darius was like "YOU!!!!!!!!!!"

At least Willow had the decency to look ashamed. She actually gets really embarrassed when Darius reminds her of the time she wasn't in her right mind and got Hunter sick. So, of course, Darius brings it up constantly.

Darius hates sports. Always has, always will. Too barbaric, too much dirt, too much sweat. However, he now has no other option but to attend every match the Emerald Entrails plays. And he also has no option but to cheer the loudest out of everyone in the crowd.

("Out of everything in the world you could have seduced him with, did it have to be sports?"

But the first game he attends is memorable. Because it's the first time in years he bumps into his old abomination teacher, Professor Hermonculous.

And of course Hermonculous is delighted to see Darius again. Why wouldn't he be? Not only was he the best in his track but he may have been one of the greatest students Hexside has ever known. He accomplished so much!! Invented so many new techniques in abomination magic!! He wrote a book!! He became a Head Witch!! (Back when things like Covens actually meant something. Some witches still saw them as status symbols.) In his old professor's eyes, Darius was everything he could have ever wanted in a student.

Darius, on the other hand, did not greet Hermonculous half as warmly. It was quite a short grape vine. A girl tells her boyfriend and her boyfriend tells his former co-worker/current weekend roommate.

Yes, Darius was a success. But he knew full well how Hermunculous treated students that disappointed him.

"Once the Emerald Entrails have annihilated the competition, I think there's something you and I should discuss." Said Darius icily. "Professor."

Willow is immediately on the defense when she shows up at school the next day and her former abomination teacher calls her into his office for a private conversation. But she is completely floored when she receives a completely unprompted formal apology from miserable old Hermonculous himself. She leaves the office in a daze.

However, once the bewilderment wears off, Willow begins connecting dots. She's no idiot.

"Darius." She whispers the next time she sees him, tugging at his forearm and beckoning him to come closer.

Assuming she has some confidential info to share, Darius crouches to Willow's height and is surprised when she presses her hands to his shoulder to keep her tippy toes balanced and pecks him on the cheek.

"You have a pretty big heart for a bitter old man." She says.

Darius squints at her witheringly. "Did you just call me old?"

Cleon in Infinite Darkness Ted-Talk

Don't mind me but I want to let this out to y'all.

I've seen the newest Infinite Darkness trailer 10000000 times ( well, duh, of course. I'm there for Cleon moments ) and yet I've realized these all just now. But y'all gotta bear with me because this post is gonna be looong. Like I mean, LONG.

Can y'all see his little smile when he says "Claire?"🥺

I think that speaks alone of how happy he is when Claire's there out of the blue. It's always nice whenever someone sees a familiar face in their work place. Especially if that familiar face doesn't work in the same place as him and that familiar face is someone he trusts a lot.

I'm sure Leon's expression here means they're comfortable with each other. At least they are. They trust each other and most importantly they support each other. I'm not saying they act like lovers but this could lead to something more than just ordinary friends. Best friend? Could be. Lovers? This also could happen and has lots of potentials since in RE2 REMAKE, he also flirts with her. And it's very obvious that Claire is also into him A LOT ( honestly, who doesn't? ). That fence scene is one helluva big hit, ahem 👀

Anyway, back to Infinite Darkness, I legit screamed that Capcom gives this subtle hint. Maybe I was blinded by my excitement the first time I saw the newest trailer so I didn't realize it. But yeah, homeboy actually smiles genuinely when he calls her name. His expression is like he can't believe she's really there in front of him. NOT TO MENTION HIS HEAD NOD WHEN HE SAYS HER NAME🥺

NGL, I thought I was tripping when I first saw it. I thought I was blinded by my Cleon obsession so my eyes tricked me🤣. I replayed the scene backward again and again and again (I didn't regret it ofc).

But yes, dear God, my eyes didn't trick me and this is real😭😭. I WAS SO FREAKING HAPPY YET I WAS SHOCKED. I had to pause the trailer to find the right moment to screen capture it.

Beside, c'mon y'all. When's the last time Leon smiles genuinely to a woman that's not Claire? Yeah he smiles to lots of women. BUT it's always a smirk or a teasing one. Never once a genuine smile. But not to Claire. He always genuinely smiles at her. In Re2Make, Darkside Chronicles, even in Degeneration.

Hell, Degeneration is full of Cleon moment even though they only share several scenes together. I'll talk about this in different post so keep your eyes on it!

I can assure y'all that this is not because of inertia ( one of physics law which makes our body move because of a sudden stop ). Leon is also not gonna grab the damn document in Claire's hand. That's not a gesture someone would make if that were the case.

I'm not sure but to me it feels like he wants to shake her hand? Or maybe hugging her or grab her shoulder? It looks like it because his arm stops mid-air as if he has another intention to her. Not just because he stops in front of her. It's such an awkward movement if there isn't any reason behind it. So, at least, there must be one. I could be wrong or I probably read it too much tho so I leave it to your own interpretation.

Homeboy wanna say something else

Homeboy with infinite hair wants a conversation 100%. IMO, Leon clearly wants to say something else to Claire but for whatever reason, he chooses not to. Dammit Leon. His body language and the way he doesn't break his eye contact with Claire says it all. There's this moment of silence before he says "don't do anything stupid" to her. And by looking at his expression, it's clear that he has something on his mind but decides to keep it to himself in the end. This is more emphasized by the way his mouth opens a little bit while he slightly leans to Claire. If y'all want more, his face after he tells Claire to not do something reckless clearly states that he actually wants to continue their convo but he has another obligation he needs to fulfill. His smiling face before he goes is like saying "Look, believe me I want to keep talking to you. But you know the drill and how it goes. I'm sorry, Claire. Gotta run. It's great seeing your face tho"

FURTHERMORE, the fact that he says "don't do anything stupid" to her speaks that he actually knows her well and how she is as a person. He knows what lengths Claire is willing to go to prevent another outbreak. He telling her not to be reckless means he cares about her. If he's not, he can just say "gotta go" to her and that's it. But no. He didn't do that even tho it's clear that he's in a rush.

Claire teases him and he smiles back at her

Believe me or not but if y'all see his face closely, he actually does respond to her by smiling before it cuts to "A Netflix Original Anime Series" text. Damn Capcom always gives us the subtle hints. And again, I didn't realize this at the first because it only plays for a brief moment.

Ships and their wingmen

MinaSaku

In time-travel AU, Sakura will possibly the only one who will not ship it, if only because that will change the future. But casting that aside, Team Minato will do everything in their power to make sure the two adults soon sire a pink-haired, blue-eyed kid or blond-haired, green-eyed kid, or any combination of those colors for that matter.

Kushina will be conflicted whether to pursue Minato and fight her best friend/soul-sister (because Sakura is Kushina in pink hair) or allow Sakura get Minato and keep their relationships as it is. If she chooses latter, she will give up on Minato, simp on Hokage hat instead, and becomes the best damn Hokage Konoha has ever seen. If not, she puts up a good fight, insert-a-lot-of-angst, a heartfelt moment between Sakura and Kushina later simps on Hokage's hat, and becomes the best damn Hokage Konoha has ever seen. Either way, Kushina sooner or later supports MinaSaku, because she doesn't get Minato then only Sakura gets to have him.

Like Ino and Sakura, Inoichi and Sakura become fast friends, even if it starts with Inoichi flirting and Sakura hitting him squarely on his jaw, and the man is excessively protective of his pink-haired friend. He will probably root for KushiMina just so to protect Sakura's chastity. He will give up soon and will make sure no one gets in the way of his OTP.

If it takes place in canon, let's say somehow Minato selectively gets to be revived for extended periodof time for some reason. Or he time-travels to post-war time and finds himself thrown into a loop. Both, in which, MinaSaku is a very slow burn that even Naruto notices the strange air between his dad and his teammate, and everyone comes to conclusion exactly where Naruto had gotten his denseness from. Kakashi ships MinaSaku because it's his father-no-2 and favourite student together, as weird as it sounds. Naruto doesn't ship, at all, because that would make Sakura his step-mother. Most angst in this MinaSaku will be caused by one Naruto Uzumaki. Ino simps for this ship just because Minato is hot, is loosely Sakura's type and she, being a good friend, completely supports her best friend bedding a heartbreaker like Minato.

Tsunade ships because he is a good man.

Konoha council ships because Namikaze genes need to be retained in the village one way or another.

HashiSaku

For starters, Tobirama doesn't ship, at all. Hashirama was already very prone to get distracted even without Sakura in the picture, but now with someone of Sakura's colors by his side, it was as if Tobirama got prematurely promoted as the head of Senju clan AND Hokage. Tobirama doesn't appreciate it at all. He subtly tries to get Sakura killed, to ship her overseas without Hashirama noticing, and convince her to marry someone who wasn't tan-skinned, longhaired and a Senju to boot. When all failed, he tries to seduce her himself as a last-ditch effort to help her move on from Hashirama. He only manages to gain a black-eye and a harsh rejection on top of it. Then, it look a while, but he figured she would be a good leader and a competent backup if Hashirama remains distracted in all his future meetings.

Mito is a proud, powerful woman, and she desires strength in things that catches her attention. So when she found Sakura, she wanted her for herself but instead found herself in competition with Hashirama of all people. Regardless to say, they hate each other.

Madara sees Sakura as the second and the last brain cell of the Senju clan, next to Tobirama. He supports HashiSaku if only so his best friend can learn a thing or two about how to use his bright but otherwise inactive brain cell. He is always ready to adopt her into his clan should Senju throw her out, courtesy of Tobirama.

Izuna likes Sakura and if she likes Hashirama, then he will support it. Easy as that.

MitoSaku

Madara doesn't care because his best friend is married to not one but two beautiful but powerful beasts of women. Hashirama has no room for complaints.

Hashirama is a third wheel in his own marriage.

Tobirama doesn't know if he ships it or not because his brother is married to a woman who is in love with another woman and that woman insists that they all remain together for the better of future.

Izuna ships, to say at least.

TobiSaku

Hashirama is the biggest fan of TobiSaku. He grins his annoying grin in a way that makes everyone present in the room with him blush in embarrassment. He dubbed Sakura as his sister-in-law the moment he saw his brother with her.

Madara doesn't think someone like Tobirama deserves Sakura, but thinks someone like Sakura can persuade Tobirama to chill. It's better for Senju clan in a long run, so he supports their relationship.

Mito simps hard for this ship because she wants Sakura as her sister-in-law. Half of the TobiSaku moments happened because of HashiMito's meddling.

Izuna flirts with Sakura at every chance he could, if only to rile Tobirama. He might like Sakura as a bit more than a friend, but he also finds TobiSaku relationship precious in a passive-agressive way so he doesn't mostly get in their way because they make up to about 65% of his daily entertainment quota which he doesn't wish to lose.

MadaSaku

If there's one person who is a die-hard fan of this ship then it's one Izuna Uchiha. He enjoys teasing his older brother at every chance he gets, ruthlessly and sadistically. He enjoys the way his brother softens at the very mention of Sakura and he thinks that is the most precious thing he's seen his older brother do for anyone who's not him. Sakura gets along with Izuna so well that he often thinks she knows him better than he knows himself, and for that he cherishes Sakura as one of his family. His love for MadaSaku stretches so far that he would kill anyone who dares to get in between two of his most important people.

Tobirama ships them because he thinks Sakura will help Madara lose some of the madness inherent in Uchiha clan. It is because of Sakura that Tobirama becomes less wary of Uchihas and warms up to them.

Hashirama jumps at Madara and Sakura everytime they come for a visit, much to his wife's embarassment. Sakura is considered one of the Senju clan, and with her marrying into Uchiha clan, strengthens Senju-Uchiha alliance. Hashirama, like Izuna, is very happy to see Madara at peace and wishes the best for the couple. Like Izuna, he teases Madara mercilessly everytime Madara does something even slightly uncharacteristic of him. Sakura isn't teased often only because her becoming flustered results only in bodily harm.

Mito approves of the pair, if only because it gets her husband's attention away from Madara and his clan. She respects Sakura and knows the Uchiha clan will thrive with her as their matriarch.

IzuSaku

Madara doesn't ship it at first because his brother is easily charmed by beautiful women and she looked a little too much like a Uzushio woman. Mito and Madara aren't in the best of the terms, regardless of the alliance. He suspected it to be trap when he saw his brother smile a little too gently, his eye softening a little too much than he was accustomed to seeing. He didn't ship IzuSaku at all because he loves his brother first and foremost. Sakura and he started off in bad terms but he soon discerns her good intentions and her honest reciprocal of feelings for Izuna, so he gives them his blessings and promises his protection.

Tobirama doesn't believe it until he sees it. He thinks she is too good for someone like Izuna, but seeing Izuna happy and content with Sakura, he comes to an understanding that this arrangement does save a lot of women from falling his prey.

Hashirama doesn't hold a particular opinion on Izuna but knows his notorious reputation and thus fears for Sakura's heart. He doesn't get in their way but tries to make sure Sakura is safe. When he is assured Izuna is courting her with intention of marriage, he gives them his blessings as well because Sakura is part of his family.

Mito doesn't understand why Sakura chose someone like Izuna given his reputation, and how Izuna really fell hard for the woman like Sakura.

SaiSaku

Sai doesn't have lot of friends to support him, but luckily for him, Sakura has.

It is Ino who digs their relationship. Ino who helps Sai learn a thing or two about women. Ino who helps him learn new ways to impress Sakura (failed everytime). Sai and Ino became close friends the more she stayed around as his part-time trainer/babysitter everytime Sakura is away on a mission/hospital (because Sakura doesn't trust Sai alone without her for long). It is through Ino that they ultimately got together in the end.

Naruto, as if on a clock, becomes sceptical if she didn't see Sasuke in Sai, but that idea goes out of the window everytime Sai opens his pretty mouth. He supports Sai and Sakura because he could. As much as Sai pisses him off, he is still one of his good friends that he treasure, but one he would never admit to about his feelings.

Sasuke never thought his position in Team 7 would be threatened, much less by an ANBU/Root member, and he most definitely didn't think it will be that member who will ultimately date Sakura. As much as he knew the world wouldn't have stopped moving when he left, he also didn't expect new faces to join his team and take what had been promised his. Sakura punches him square on his face when he vocalises his thoughts. Regardless to say, he isn't happy with this arrangement.

Yamato is most pleased to see Sai flourishing as a person instead of a killing machine they were made into. He thinks Sakura is scary and will keep Sai on his toes, but also that she will be patient and guide him on the right path. They couldn't be more different, but he knew they understand each other like no one else.

Yamato and Naruto becomes the best men in SaiSaku wedding, and no sightings of Sasuke is observed anywhere.

ShiSaku

Surprisingly, Shisui gets green signal from all the members of team 7. When asked, he is told many reasons ranging from – "You're the only decent Uchiha" to "You're not emotionally dead.", which ultimately means he is approved because he is everything Sakura expects in a man, and that age is hardly a reason of disapproval from them if it is not a problem for Sakura.

Naruto sometimes – particularly on days when Shisui steals their female teammate to spend time with him – think if Shisui had not brainwashed Sakura into giving in to his vile intentions, because that's exactly what his Sharingan is specialized to do, but when Sakura hears a word about this, she always punches him hard enough to make him reconsider his words. Sasuke and Kakashi are smart enough to keep their opinions about her love life to themselves.

If Itachi thought Shisui was annoying when he was not in love, he thinks Shisui is downright nuts when he is in love. Sakura is all he ever talks about, and while Itachi is pleased to see his cousin and Sakura, who's a good friend to him, so happy in love, there's a line that need not be crossed. He is thankful that both make a lovely couple together who can make Uchiha clan a happy place with their shared positivity. But. But, Shisui is also a jealous idiot and those two words never make a good combination. Itachi blesses the couple for all happiness in the world, but he is just not the person they should come to looking for relationship advice whenever one of them (always Shisui) screws up.

You'd think since Shisui is not part of the main house and having no living family of his own, there'll be no family drama surrounding him and his love life, but you're dead wrong. Once Mikoto and Fugaku hear a word about ShiSaku being canon, they call Shisui in, gives him the earful of the lifetime, demands of him to propose marriage to her, and proceed to prepare for the big wedding. Sakura accepts but that's hardly a point, because next thing Shisui knows is getting adopted into the main house. There goes his freedom.

KibaSaku

Tsume loves Sakura. She wants to adopt Sakura. Inuzuka clan loves Sakura. KibaSaku is real, so what happens? Tsume threatens to disown Kiba unless he proposes to Sakura and make her one of the pack soon. According to Tsume, Kiba has finally chosen "the one who will make up for his lack-of-thereof brain and strength".

When the word gets out about his entanglement with Sakura, Team 8 is pleased – especially Hinata and Shino. Kurenai looks at him like she doesn't believes him. Shino repeats Tsume's sentiments on the matter. Hinata only smiles in a way that screams 'finally!'.

Team 7 is not happy that their precious teammate is getting it on with someone who smells like dog.

Kurenai who is like a mother to both Sakura and Kiba is happy to help them get started with parenting. It got too awkward to further ask Tsume who only said to "break the bed and let nature play its role". Kurenai will take turns with rest of the Team 8 and Team 7 to babysit many kids that KibaSaku will sire because they are wild. Tsume is proud though.

Tsunade blesses the couple and knows she will enjoy spoiling her many grandchildren rotten. Shizune is only happy for her sister-figure, even if she is a bit worried for the children.

Ino smirks at Sakura like a sly cat, every time they meet, all the way until her friend is happily married. Kiba is a catch, even if he smells like a dog. And they both know it.

GaaSaku

Baki cries in joy when GaaSaku reveals their relationship public. He had thought Gaara was a lost cause when it comes to romance. His son-figure made him proud that day.

Temari threatens Sakura if she breaks "her-precious-bean's-fragile-heart", she will see through that her body gets never found in the sand. When it became clear that Sakura was serious about Gaara, Temari crushes the other woman to her chest and cries over how lucky she was to have Gaara as her husband (because there's no way her precious bean, Gaara, is undeserving of someone).

Kankuro breaks down crying, thankful that his little brother Gaara was not asexual and that he only had high expectations of himself because there was no way Sakura wasn't the best bride for Gaara. A match made in heaven, he said. It doesn't help that Kankuro and Sakura are best friends who often conspire ways to make Gaara blush prettily like he does, much to Gaara's chagrin.

Tsunade stans GaaSaku and is aware of the political advantage in their marriage to back up their relationship. Temari marrying into Konoha and Sakura into Sand, is a fair exchange.

Konoha council begs to differ.

Naruto wants to feel betrayed but doesn't because Gaara deserves the love he will get from Sakura, and he knows him and knows her. That doesn't help him from sending threatening letters, dripping on rabbit's blood, to Gaara who isn't alarmed at all and patiently writes back about his feelings concerning his female teammate. Naruto cries like a baby on their wedding because Kazehime is such a fitting title for his precious Sakura-chan.

Sasuke never sees it coming. He is betrayed, but not because Sakura moved on but because it is Gaara she moved on to. He takes personal offence to it, confronts personally about it to her in Suna and Sakura isn't impressed. If Sakura gives him a beating that leaves him in Suna hospital for a week, that's not on Sakura.

Kakashi cannot care less whom his old genin team fucks and marries but he admits he is a bit impressed that Sakura marries Gaara of all people.

ShikaSaku

Team 10 is ecstatic when Shikamaru and Sakura makes their relationship public. Ino is on cloud nine when she hears Sakura gets to be official part of Ino-Shika-Cho. She breaks into Sakura's apartment to crush her best friend in a hug that might as well suffocate her to death but a girl gotta express her joy one way or another. She demands Shikamaru to invite Sakura for all future clan get-togethers so Sakura will feel comfortable in future.

Choji is happy for his best friend. He secretly meets with Yoshino to prepare for the big day. He exclusively invites Sakura for all Akimichi parties when he hears about her passion for cooking, even if she's bad at it. It's safe to say Sakura became part of Ino-Shika-Cho even before her marriage to Shikamaru.

When Sasuke hears about it, he corners Shikamaru and inquires about all the intentions Shikamaru has towards his teammate. He might not like Sakura like she once wished to be liked by him, but she was still part of his family that is Team 7 and he cares enough to make sure she doesn't get heart broken the way she had with him. When he gets right answers, he drops his arm against his throat, draws back his kusanagi and walks away like nothing was amiss.

When Naruto hears about it, he pokes fun at Shikamaru for his taste in women – first Temari, now his teammate. To onlookers, it would look like two friends playfully teasing each other, but if you look closely, you'd notice the red of Naruto's eyes, how the grip on Shikamaru's fingers were tad too tight and the way Shikamaru looked like he would rather be anywhere but there. After a measured shake and few more teasing jabs, Naruto returned to his goofy self.

When Kakashi hears about it and comes across him, Shikamaru doesn't let the older man get a word in. With Kakashi, it might as well be chidori to heart so Shikamaru rushed to firmly asserted his very pure, no vile, feelings for his sole female student. By the time he is finished with his monologue, Kakashi has left.

Tsunade is neutral when the news gets to her. As simple as Shikamaru was, he was also not the most committed person so she decides to test Shikamaru before she gave him her blessings.

Temari flips the table when the word reaches Suna. She immediately leaves the village to make sure Shikamaru was truly serious, this time, about her friend. Gaara follows after her because he is still pissed at the certain man for breaking his sister's heart. Kankuro passes the hat to Baki for the meantime and leaves after his siblings to beat certain someone if this is just another ugly fling for him. Also, because he isn't going to miss on a good show.

If some ink tigers pop out of nowhere and attempt on Shikamaru's life or some carnivorous plants tries to taste the meat on his nether region, he doesn't speak of the incidents to anyone, let alone Sakura. It is only after Sakura is pronounced a Nara that the attempts on his life cease.

I think I nearly covered all the popular pairings. There's still ShinoSaku, YamaSaku, DeiSaku, KisaSaku, KarinSaku, LeeSaku, HidaSaku and ChoSaku, AsuSaku and IndraSaku though. Maybe next time.

You know what I don't get?? How do nh and ss look at Boruto/Gaiden and think SS and NH works?? I get it's denial but how much can you deny? Isn't it a burden to lie to yourself that much? I mean nh and ss are non existent throughout both parts. But the canon ending probably gave them some defence. I mean if I shipped nh or ss, no matter how delusional i was, i would definitely have left those ships after Gaiden, Naruto thinks of Sasuke looking at bento when clearly his son thought of his mum. Such a clear parallel. And ss.....well, Kishi bashed ss like hell in Gaiden. Like with a vengeance. Naruto talks about Sasuke like ooh he is so handsome and attractive and hot and talented and amazing Sarada, you don't know how cool your dad is. When have we ever heard him talk about Hinata like that? He calls her plain looking weirdo 😭. Isn't it obvious? Like okay, Sasuke and Naruto aren't married but they literally behave like each other's spouses. Sasuke won't even kiss Sakura, he looks like he would rather be in an alternate dimension without oxygen in the atmosphere, instead of being with Sakura. I mean....i can't imagine the amount of lying to themselves ss and nh have to do. The last literally stole SNS tropes to make nh work and even then they couldn't look believable...😭. One lie leads to twenty others, and everytime i hear ss and nh metas, that's all I get. Lying lying and lying to oneself. It must be so hard. Why would you put yourself through thaaat much trouble to ship someone??? Like it must be so painful. I feel kinda sorry and sad for them. To want something that bad but not able to have it, while constantly running after it like crazy people in the hope they will get a crumb somewhere, it's just so pathetic and sad.....

Hello Anon :) Well there are 2 kind of shippers i think.

You have the type who just ships for the sake of shipping, because they like how both character look together and that's it. They didnt read any meta post, or they dont go that deep on looking about information of that ship, and only have seen the anime and saw a scene where this 2 characters interacted and that's it. A ship can born with just only one interaction of 2 characters and that's it. I think there is no much problem with these shippers cause they know they do not know that much about the ship, of course they will go crazy if they see canon content...But they can actually think and reflex if you give information about how non-canon is their ship.

I have 2 friends who belong to this type of shipper: They ship SasuSaku but they started shipping them because of a picture and then they saw the anime. Of course they were influenced already, they thought both looked good together and thats it. But they know well, very well how stupid is for SS to be together in the end and they recognize that they dont know each other. Unreal for a SS huh? xD And they say that SNS is of course the most strongest ship. But they prefer SS for their looks and that's fine.

THen you have the other kind of shipper who lives in a nube de pedos as they say in my country (a fart cloud) who live in extremely delusion. I dont know why, maybe some colective hysteria? I dont know, but its interesting how a looooot of them believe something they have not seen in the anime/manga. And they make mental gymnastics to make SS fits in moments that are not meant to be with them. I think, is precisaly the lack of canon content (and content at all lol) they had, that they have to imagine moments and conversations between sasuke and sakura, that never happened. And they think about them that much, that somehow they end up believing they are real, or they can be real off-screen.¿¿¿

But i think they reflect perfectly the person they fanatisize first with, which is Sakura. Most of SS fans are first of all Sakura fans. And they reflect very well their cherry blosom princess, living in a fart cloud, feelings. She , as her fans, deluded till the point of believing she had the enough power on Sasuke emotions to make him stop twice from his objectives¿ And i dont know where this thought come from cause he never showed hesitanting doing something because of thinking about sakura idk ajslkdfj But as I said, they feed themselves enough with fics and headcanons that they delude the reality and canon content, with their fictional material.

For example. I was a SS shipper back in the day, also NH, yeah i know...dark times. And well i cannot speak that much about NH because i shipped them bc of yolo. But for SS, there was this fact STATED AS CANON that Sasuke went with itachi telling him that he liked some girl with pink hair¿¿¿¿¿ and this was stated as canon in all freaky fan bases. Of course i was !!!!! but when looking for the content, i found any because it wasnt canon of course not xDD And another thing is that they believe SS have this enemies to lovers dynamic. They believe they are some Leon /Ada (from Resident evil) dynamic, she a powerful woman and he a powerful man ¿ but their ways are not meant to be together. And you can see this dynamic in a lot of SS fics. I also believes this dyanamic as well, which is fascinating but then realized they are not like that...That there...there is nothing at all. About NH is the same, well with them is worse xD They are non existent. What i can conclude, is that meanwhile they belong to these kind of shippers, they will always live in denial while they have their headcanon and theories about their ship. The only thing they could use as shield is that they are canon and they will defend "that title" till the end. They, as their queens, wont care about the marriage cause in the end they got what they wanted and thats where the story ends.

Day 21: Her Majesty, Our Queen

Purely Political Chapter 1:

Zuko knows this is a political marriage. Less a bond and more a contact between two nations to enforce the fragile peace between them.

And yet, he still keeps every letter she sends him in a drawer in his desk. He still keeps her portrait in his pocket. He still gives every trinket she sends him a special place in his chambers.

Zuko knows for certain there won't be romance between them. Not with the way he is, not with his temper, and certainly not with his scars.

He doesn't want to give himself false hope. He knows he'll only break his own heart if he can't cool down these fiercely warm and gentle feelings that bubble up inside him everytime he hears her name.

He knows this..But his heart won't stop beating out of his chest the night before her arrival just the same.

He doesn't sleep that night and when the sun finally rises, he rushes to put on his Fire Lord regalia and waits by a balcony that looks on the docks.

He tries to use the time to meditate but his head is too full of Katara .

Will she look like her portrait? What does her voice sound like? Her laugh? What will she say to me? What will she think of me when she sees?

It's two hours of these thoughts later that he finally sees the ships in the distance, the familiar insignia from the wax of her letters stamped onto the flags of masts towering above the horizon. He lets out a breath he didn't realize he was holding and forces his feet one after the other toward the banquet hall where he'll be receiving her delegation.

It's not too much longer before Uncle joins him. He tells a joke that Zuko barely hears and places a hand on his shoulder that temporarily calms his butterflies.

Soon after, his mother, stepfather, and half-sister arrive. The wedding is scheduled a week from today and they're all planning to stay to support him. Azula is still being hospitalized and although she's been able to visit him in the palace on a few occasions, he doesn't believe she's stable enough to meet his future wife. He really does love her, but he won't do anything to risk this marriage. Maybe one day they will meet, but he doubts it will be anytime soon.

“Zuzu!” Kiyi hugs his leg from a running start.

“Wow, look how much you've grown!.”

Kiyi smiles broadly. “I've gained three centimeters since you last saw me!

Zuko smiles back, patting her head gently enough that her intricate hairstyle isn't ruined. But before he can respond, the doors open once more.

Zuko’s jaw drops.

He thought Katara was beautiful in her portrait, but it's nothing compared to the real thing. Her eyes are like sapphires, bright and twinkling as they take in the room and he finds himself frozen in place. When he finally breaks away his gaze, his heart swells as he notices the necklace he carved for her displayed below her mother's on a beautiful strand of pearls.

Uncle had mentioned that it was a standard practice and when he asked if he could make one for her, she'd seemed delighted. But it was one thing to hear it in a letter and quite another to see the stone, carved with two crescent moons surrounding a flame, resting above her heart.

He fights against the dopey grin that seems determined to plaster itself on his face and does his best to keep his voice even and calm.

“Greetings Princess Katara and the delegation from the Southern Watertribe.” Her eyes meet his and he tries to swallow the painful knot that forms when she frowns at him, albeit briefly. “We are humbled by your acceptance of this alliance and hope your accommodations are satisfactory. Our servants are at your service during your stay and I am available if any problems arise. Thank you for your presence and welcome.”

A polite round of applause follows before the servants lead the delegation to their seats. Katara and Zuko have their own table at the end of the hall, just far enough away to hold a private conversation if they keep their voices down.

Zuko sits down and Katara joins him gracefully, the frown long since replaced by a neutral expression.

“Thank you again for coming, Master Katara.” Her frown returns, along with the painful knot in Zuko's throat.

“Well, which is it going to be?”

Zuko looks back at her blankly. “I'm sorry?”

“Is it Princess or Master?”

Zuko blinks slowly, still not quite sure what she means. “I’m sorry, I assumed you wanted to be called by the title you earned, based on your letters. But I meant no disrespect.”

“Then why did you call me princess?”

Zuko tries not to stare at her mouth too much as it moves. “I was just standing on ceremony because you were in front of your delegation.”

“..Oh.”

“Is that okay? I will call you whatever you want, really. And I'm sorry if I made a mistake.”

“No, no, I'm sorry, I just..you called me Master in your letters and I was just..confused at the change.” He takes note of the subtle blush dusting her cheeks and feels the tightness in his throat dissipate. “Should I call you Firelord then?”

“No. I mean, if it's not too much, please just call me Zuko.”

“It's not too much, Zuko,” she smiled. He can feel a warmth blooming in his chest when she says his name. “I really do hope we can at least be friends.”

Zuko smiles back and it's only a tiny bit forced.

“Thank you, Master Katara.”

Katara clears her throat a little. “I'm sorry for making a fuss...I mean... just Katara is fine.”

“Of course, just Katara.”

Katara smiles again, this time so brightly Zuko gets lost in it for a moment, and this time he doesn't fight his dopey grin.

At least we can be friends.

Even more self indulgent KH headcanons

Kairi loves all animals and by all I mean ALL, she's friends with several sharks, has attempted to bring home multiple stray dogs home, has a pet pitbull named Monty who she would literally die for (touch and she'll break your legs) and has the summon charm for frankenweenie and wasn't even phased when she saw him she just went "Oh, a zombie dog... Neat! 😀"

Plus Everytime they find a cute animal she ALWAYS tries to attempt to take them home with her in the gummi ship (much to Riku's chagrin)

If Kairi encountered Marluxia or Larxene during the Keyblade War she would've completely maimed them, it would've been a bloody massacre, it's what they deserve after what they done to Naminé

Even after meeting they're somebodies Lauriam and Larxene she STILL doesn't like them she just tolerates them even IF they're Ven's old friends from Daybreak Town (Naminé tries to convince her to let go but that ain't happening anytime soon) she gives them death glares whenever Naminé isn't in the same room

Kairi and Naminé always hug each other or stay in physical contact with one another even when they're outside Kairi's room (I'm a sucker for soft sibling hugs and moments) Kairi gives the best hugs and Naminé is a tad touch starved from her time in Castle Oblivion so who could blame her sometimes when Xion comes to visit with her seasalt fam she'll join the cuddlefest (Everyone melts whenever they have they're soft sister moments)

Kairi is the protective mama bear and one hesitate to maim someone if one of her family members are hurt (she will also not hesitate to tackle said attackers, kick down doors, break through windows or break down walls

I like to think whenever Kairi panics the braincell immediately goes to Riku and she acts on impulse... Those impulses being jumping out the window or yeeting herself in into a corridor of light

If Kairi were to ever have her own rage form it she would've looked like Anti-Sora but with a pink and white color palette and light wisps instead of darkness, she would also act like an overly affectionate cat that would hiss at strangers

However she does have a drive form called Royal Form where she in cases some of her limbs in pure bright light, her eyes glow a fiery blue, she sprouts bright angelic wings and all her clothing turns white, she's also able to use op light magic and she has a finishing called salvation where she gets rid of all the darkness around her but she would instantly turn back to normal luckily it also all gives everyone in the party a temporary mega boost on both they're magic and physical prowess

If some girl or guy were to flirt with Sora they would mysteriously disappear an hour later Kairi says she has no idea what they're talking about Riku believes otherwise, Naminé is very concerned while Xion is just flat out confused

Kairi supports the LGBTQA+ Community

Xion is trans (everyone already knows that) and uses all pronouns but mainly She/They, Kairi loves her for being herself and would literally fight anyone who goes against that (including Axel/Lea and Roxas of course, Saïx/Isa is sorta awkward cause he used to be transphobic)

Kairi is the type of girl who would bite

Kairi used to be the feral nature girl back when she was 14 she still is but not by much

Xion and Kairi are the dog lover duo, Namine tries to stop them but fails

Xion and Kairi have both kicked Seifer's ass on seperate occasions Seifer is just avoiding Namine like the plague cause he ain't gonna risk it

Namine has stupidly strong magic, one time she was trying to cast a simple Fire spell but accidentally casted a Firaza spell the GoL was immensely proud even though a good chunk of them were confused and scared as hell

On an unrealated note Namine can control people's dreams now, and can also now manipulate others memories

Unfortunately the whole dream manipulation thing has a not so unfortunate side effect of making half dream eater (half-chirithy ti be exact)

Kairi and Xion think she looks precious, Riku suffered from a cardiac arrest and is now in the medical wing, Sora thinks she looks neat, Roxas has mixed feelings, Ventus also agrees with Sora, Terra loves her new look, Aqua just loves her daughter and Chirithy just wants to adopt her

Liza that 3rd fragman 👀 "if I was born a 100 times I'd fall in love with you everytime" Eda saying this is their last obstacle and nothing can separate them, serkan's "I'll be right back, close your eyes I'm here" If this isn't all a red flag for shits about to hit the fan then I don't know what is LOL (but also how cute to Edser look and them telling each other they love each other very much 😭😭😭)

That fragman is both the SWEETEST and the MOST OMINOUS thing I’ve ever seen. ALL AT ONCE.  

Friends... we’re gonna go through some things.  That being said, everything is going to be great. These writers have been solid so far, and I have faith they have come up with something really interesting to increase the longevity of this show. And I don’t know about you, but I’m prepared to go through some things if it means keeping Eda and Serkan for longer.  (I heart them)

This show is about Eda and Serkan and their love story, at it’s core it’s a comedy, it will all lead to happy things, but... yeah, buckle up! 

I have a lot of asks both about the fragman and last ep, so I’m going to answer a bunch under the cut.

You could be right!  I like your thinking. I checked on twitter and I had to back away slowly. The juvenile temper tantrums were too much for me today.  

Look, I think it’s clear something big is coming. It has to, there has to be something that shakes up the show. Some of the theories are more upsetting and catastrophic than others, but the writers won’t do anything that dings either character or their love for one another.  Whatever happens will showcase the connection between these two and the chemistry between the actors, that’s the point of everything, and anything that does those things is gonna be a-okay with me. 

@jan31​ Hi Liza. Do you think we are going to see the wedding in 28 or they will leave it on a cliffhanger for next week. Lots of theories going round mainly cos of Neslihan saying new dimensions coming in episode 29, which could just mean married life etc. I have seen suggestions of memory loss, it's all a dream since episode one. I would personally love Eda to wake up like in episode one but for it to be a total turn around and she is the boss and Serkan the employee. Eda being robot yildiz appeals to me!!! I know it will never happen but leave me here with my dreams!!

I started the day at 90% sure they’ll be married in 28/29, but now I’m down to like 30% that they’ll get married in these episodes. I really, really want them to get married before whatever happens happens, because every scenario I can think of for this reset or starting again, seems like it would be better if they were married.  

However, the shooting spoilers from today, make me question that. Namely the videos where Hande appears to still be wearing the ring on her right hand. We shall see, that could be for many reasons. 

Honestly, though, I wouldn’t hate a memory loss storyline. Seeing one of them (and Serkan’s line in the trailer makes it seem like it might be him) lose their memory and have to fall in love all over again? There are worse fates for a shipper than getting to experience that all again but in a different way.

You’re referencing this post here about yesterday’s drama. 

Today Neslihan made it worse by addressing everything and claiming she didn’t like all those Hande-bashing posts because... wait for it... she was HACKED. Oy. Hackers got in and went back two years to like gross posts about Hande? Sure, Jan. While I don’t believe that for a second, I guess that at least gives her cover with Hande so they can all pretend it’s true and move on so it’s not awkward on set.  But, yikes, she needs to consult a publicist, she took a narrative that was circulating in certain circles in fandom and made sure all her followers were aware. Not very savvy. 

As for the paps coming after Hande, yes I did see her in the car, she did look overwhelmed. Back off vultures!!! That’s why I think Kerem sometimes throws himself to the wolves so that doesn’t happen. She always handles them like a pro, but you can tell she’d rather be anywhere else on earth than talking to them. 

The pap stuff is worse than I’ve seen before, they’re like vultures circling for any conjecture (sometimes made up out of thin air) they can turn into a question and blame fans. OUAT actors dealt with nothing like this. Also I can’t believe they never ask about the show. Like after last week? They could legit ask about the sex scene which probably would have given them some angle on the actors that they wanted, (especially since it was too hot for Turkish TV) but they let that pass them by, and instead asked the same questions about being together that they never answer. Dumbasses. They are not only awful people, they are awful at their jobs. 

In Van, the paps pay off crew members for info, they always know more than fans. Also I don’t remember stars of my shows getting this level of tabloid attention before. Except for on Riverdale, Lili and Cole generated that level of interest, and while I didn’t pay terribly close attention to them, I feel like they rarely talked to the paps, were just photographed. Also I don’t suspected the CW of calling the paps on them, but I suspect either the network or production company of sometimes calling them on Hande and Kerem.

If they’d left his story at just going back to his country, then the Prince really wouldn’t have served his purpose. He was brought on to cause some sort of trouble, so they probably need him to cause the trouble before he goes, lets hope it ends with this kidnapping!

And to answer your question, yes, I do think it’s weird that neither trailer touched on it. On any other show I’d think it was a huge red flag, but on this show maybe not as much because  a) there’s obviously a lot of romance in this episode, it’s not crazy that they are focusing on that to draw people in with the promos  b) this show likes to do cliffhangers that end up being no big deal, that happens a lot.  

Who knows it could turn out to be a big deal that shapes the rest of the episode in some unexpected way (Eda’s captured the whole episode and she’s dreaming about wedding prep, or... who knows) but I think it’s more likely that they resolve in the first 5-10 minutes and then move on.  Since we know from the summary (not that I trust those) that Serkan goes on the bachelor weekend, it feels like the Prince is taken care of prior to that. I don’t think he’d leave her alone for a second if there was a chance the Prince was still a threat. Perhaps Babaanne is pissed he tried to kidnap Eda and tells them she’ll handle it herself???

You’re not wrong, at this point, having this wedding take place would be a shocking twist for all of us!  As for Semiha... hmmm... it will be interesting to see what her reaction is to Eda being kidnapped by her pick of suitor. Serkan Bolat might be the son of the man indirectly responsible for her parents death, but he would never hurt her. Take note, Grandbag!

The ratings were terrific during the summer. But to your point, it has a huge fandom both in Turkey and internationally, but it’s worth noting that most of those charts you see where it beats every other show in every imaginable social metric is just for Turkey.  

It’s one of those lightning in a bottle situations where you get the right property and the right actors together at the right time and magic happens.  And, for sure, the number one reason is the shipping. Shipping drives fandom engagement, and a fantastic ship with a juicy, fun, tropey love story is what this show offers. It also offers up two extremely attractive, talented, likeable leads with off-the-charts chemistry (plus the added speculation about an off-camera relationship that has intrigued more than a few fans, tabloids and gossip sites and fueled interest) who have done a good job of building the fanbase through their social media engagement. Plus the timing is part of it as well. I don’t know about you, but this show hit the spot during this pandemic and the horror of 2020. We all needed this escape.

I don’t know about a switch flip, this show has been fanfic land since the first episode!  The tropes! That is how I described it to multiple people when I first started watching: an AU fanfic come to life.

As for the writing changes, no, I don’t think backlash after 25 affected 26 or 27, because 26 was already 90% shot, and 27 already written. However, I assume they themselves could tell that 25 got just too dark and had strayed pretty far from the DNA of the series. While I didn’t think it was bad, it was not fun to watch and this show ought to be fun to watch. 

Let’s hope, however, that the backlash affects future episodes in that they know what works... and what doesn’t.  The last two episodes definitely felt reminiscent of the first batch of episodes. Light, funny, romantic. If they can keep that tone... I’ll be thrilled.

Yes, it was lovely. You know I’ve preached a lot about how even though Eda and Serkan were broken up, they’ve still been together all this time. And it’s true, but there is something about them truly being together that is magical. We never got enough of that the first time around (a writing mistake in my opinion) and they’re so good together it’s lovely to watch.

Yes, that was a good moment. And he was eyeing her very warily when she offered. The thing I don’t understand is how has no one caught on that she’s working with Babaanne? That entire office is filled with nosy people, has no one remarked on the number of times Balca has gone up to the office or they’ve disappeared for lunch at the same time? Come on Leyla! Come on Melo! Notice these things!

Will Balca backdown even if she’s humiliated like that? She’s so delusional I’m not sure. What I am sure is that she’s dangerous. This came in before we saw the other two fragmans that have no mention of the kidnapping. Hard to picture how that is so easily resolved. Unless she frees herself (which seems unlikely in her groggy state) or maybe Melo’s future boyfriend is able to stop it before they get far?  Or I don’t know. I just know that I want to see Serkan lose his mind and all the other characters see Serkan lose his mind and then I want it to be over. LOL.

Bye bitches!  I don’t think there’s any redemption for Balca and Seiman. They both have poisoned/dosed people, hard to come back from that.  And there is no need to redeem them because neither is compelling enough to be a long-term character. But maybe Granny, we probably will see a redemption arc for her.

SO GOOD! I was thrilled to see that sort of comedy, the sort of comedy we’d come to expect, from these writers. I think it bodes very well indeed!  

That scene was amazing. I know Neslihan said that much of it was improvised. Probably that line from Serkan (since Serkan is SO out-of-his-mind in love I’m not sure he could even joke about having Eda only two nights a week! LOL) was improv from Kerem, and Aydan asking about the other nights, and Seyfi bringing up the weekend. And Eda’s very Hande-esque “Ser-KAN.” 

I just love rewatching that scene and checking out everyone who is breaking character and just losing it. Cagri most of all. He’s blurred aback there but you can see Ferit spends the whole time laughing or trying to stifle a laugh. Reminds me of Cagri in the scene in 18 when they’re watching the security footage he was losing it in that scene as well.

We shall see!  I don’t really think Serkan going to jail for 2 years is in the cards, at least I hope not!  Besides if Babaanne did that she would have no hopes of ever reconciling with Eda, so that seems unlikely she’d follow through and leave him there for so long a time.
