Oh my god I've just finished the last episode of day of the jackal and I have Thoughts!!!!

I was Not expecting Bianca to die like that???? I feel like they made a lot of mistakes in the jackal's house - I guess maybe they wanted to show how she'd been kinda consumed with hubris but I really liked her character so I was sad she's gone

OC having Bianca's text saying she's been sent to Spain is so saddddd omg

The whole arc with the old couple was so sad ): I know the jackal didn't necessarily want to kill them until she stabbed him but it was still sad to see

I was so happy to see Nuria taking all the money and running!!! She was 100% the person I was rooting for

I'm kinda loving the jackal buddying up with zina, they'll be a fun duo if they do a second season

Oh, wow, Nuria is back!

Nuria, a bright and beautiful lady from Barcelona, studied Russian in Moscow, and, after returning back to Spain, ran a channel on YouTube in Russian just for fun and for language practice.

When Russia attacked Ukraine, Nuria stopped blogging (and, God, I can understand her decision), but a week ago, she resumed posting, and I am very glad that she did. Her challenge is to prove (to self, first of all) that loving a language doesn't mean loving the government of the country where that language is most spoken.

Her videos are extremely inspirational and insightful for Russian learners. Subscribe to her channel if you haven't yet and support her work - I guess, she needs it now more than ever.
