Ratio couldn’t bear this anymore. Nighttime, he sat in his office chair, door locked to prevent you from entering. You were the reason he was like this after all. With his furrowed eyebrows, be buried his face into his hands, annoyed but flushed. He was extremely flustered and he just couldn’t contain it anymore!!

After taking a deep breath, the flush on his face slowly started to decrease. Now it was time for him to think back, as to why he’s so flushed! He leans back into his office chair, looking up at the ceiling — his brows still frowned. He recalled all those memories of you and him...

You slammed open Ratio’s office door as he was working — startling him a little. Without another word coming out of his mouth, you instantly crawled onto his lap and hugged him, resting your cheek on his shoulder. You could feel how Ratio’s heart started beating faster, and how he immediately stopped his breath. You only smiled as he tried finding words. “What are you...” Was all he could let out, before you dug your face deeper into his neck. “Nothing. Just missed you” you murmured. You could feel the heat of his cheeks rising every second.

Another moment, where you and Ratio were just walking along the sidewalk of Penacony, talking about trivial matters. Slipping your hand into his, he notices and flinches. You show him a smile and he sighs, the blush on his face undeniable as he lets you hold his hand.

Or even that moment in bed, where you had come home late, seeing Ratio already asleep in your guys’ shared bed. You instantly changed and snuggled up close to him, either burying your face in his chest or hugging him from the back. He opens his eyes after you finally fall asleep, trying to keep his heart beat steady.

All those times, gosh, you kept clinging to him! He didn’t hate it, no, never... But you were distracting him! It was like everytime he was in your vicinity you’d immediately interwine your hands or fingers, or you’d straight up hug-attack or pounce on him!

Lost in thought of you, he almost fell out of his chair — being startled by you breaking open his locked door. “Are you gonna sleep?” You ask him, walking over to his chair from behind and wrapping your arms around his neck loosely. Your damp hair from the shower you just took wetting Ratio’s shoulder and face slightly.

“Yes, after I finish the current project. There’s something missing in it.” He says, surprised you broke down the locked door, but feeling cooled and immediately forgetting about it by the water on his face and your hug. “Have you been sleeping enough? It seems like you haven’t.” That’s true, he hasn’t. He’s constantly kept awake, all because he isn’t used to the affection you pour onto him. Every small touch feels like he’s falling in love with you all over again, sparks that he thought could either never be lit again or lit at all — burning with every touch. “I’ve... Been distracted.” He admits, ashamedly. You pull back in surprise. “You? Distracted? Do tell why Doc!” You sit yourself ontop of his desk, taking his hand and playing around with it. His gloves, or just inspecting his hands.

He looks at you, praying you don’t notice his flush. His expression is unusually softer, he looks at you as if you’re something he just cannot figure out. He would never say this directly to your face, but, he’d like to hold you forever. “Someone has been distracting me.” He turns his head away, his eyes flickering from you time to time. “Is a co-worker bothering you?” You ask, still holding his hand but looking at him. “Not... Quite. They distract me in a way everytime they do little acts of touching me, I seem to be unable to stop thinking of it.” Your eyes widen, and he notices. “Such measly touches... Unable to escape my mind...” He repeats. You feel his hand slightly flince, going stiff for a second. “It’s... An addictive feeling...” You feel your own cheeks burn slightly. He looks at you from the side of his eye.

Your laugh fills the room, his face now turned to face you. He scoots his chair closer to you, his eyebrow slightly twitching. “Why are you laughing?” He articulated. “Nothing, you’re just adorable! Is this your way of saying you enjoy how clingy I am?” You wipe the tear from your eye that evolved from laughter, smiling at him and refusing to let go of his hand — not that he minds. His jaw slightly falls open, as if he’s unsure of what to say. Searching for the words. Only you could make him feel like this... Like an idiot... “Perhaps.” He almost denies.

You sigh fondly. Ratio immediately noticing the warmth in your smile. You jump off the table and stand besides Ratio’s chair. He looks at you, rather puzzled as to what you’re trying to do. But before he knows it, you scoop him up from his chair, your arms and hands underneath his legs and back. He’s caught off guard, he yelps.

You immediately take him to your shared room, closing the lights and leaving only one lamp with a warm dim lighting open. Then taking off any bothersome piece of accessory Ratio wears on his person and immediately cuddle him. He looks at you, surprised. But how he loved it when you held him like this, or when he held you. He didn’t say a thing, only embracing your touch in that moment — making the two of you drift into slumber.

i havent read through everything so im not 100% sure its all accurate to my current thoughts, BUT the website screenshots are correct!

if you meant literally "whats his problem" as in Why He's Like That.. (prob wrote this 100 times but thats ok with me)

he grew up in a very stereotypically nice family. golden retriever, two parents, good brother, two story house in the suburbs. but he was always hyperactive, bratty, wanted attention - and in school, teachers and peers started shoving him into a box. it started off as simple things, till they were punishing him for 'breathing disrespectfully.' he'd talk during quiet time, and they'd take away his recess. he'd be too rough in tag, had to sit out during P.E. he doodles while the teacher is talking, teacher snatches the paper and throws it away. he'd drop a pencil, the teacher is shouting at him. students could lie about him and everyone believed it. they'd "warn" his upcoming teachers, already setting a bias for him - which eventually became warranted.

everyone kept pushing him further and further into that role of a troublemaker, till he flat out became a bully.

but when he picked on Randy's sister, that entire group began fucking RELENTLESSLY harassing him. theyd jump him, splash him with gasoline and play with lighters by him, smash his head against concrete, dump bleach on him, shatter his phone, this and that. he had waaaayyyyy too much pride to tell anyone, either. it was when liu went to juvie that SOMETHINGGGG really infected jeff.

so, the operator is usually stuck in alabama. thats where slenderman is, who is the physical core of their shared being - but there have been a few 'containment breaches' where he makes his way to other states. jeff was the first (and only) person he ever infected farrr away from alabama. even after the operator returned to alabama cuz it hurt to be far, jeff remained...like that. and he eventually stumbled down towards alabama, naturally drawn to it cuz thats where the O/S system is at

the operator let go of him BECAUSE him being in new jersey was too difficult to maintain, and he operator doesnt want him anymore.... so jeffs just...stuck

TLDR; i wanted him to reflect how some students get shoved into a box, and it prompts further poor behavior, till it spirals out of control as they get older . even with great parents and an amazing home life, external factors are HUGE

but also he naturally is a little shit and probably wouldve been an asshole regardless of how people treated him... i just think its interesting how people fill out certain roles

rant about fandom documentation or something or the other or the something of the other eye roll

no matter how many dead fandoms you join as soon as you interact with a popular one then go to something that's somewhat dead will ALWAYS be jarring. Bonus points if it was super popular but currently isn't as alive.

for example for like two months i was really into arcane and since its so recent and was so popular I was being SPOILED. information on how it was made interviews behind the scenes was so easy to find cuz everybody was finding it at the same time and sharing. New fanart every day, clips of the va's being shared constantly etc. now I'm really into detroit become human and finding the nitty gritty details is so MUCH HARDERRRRR people aren't sharing the clips and such anymore because everybody's already seen it BUT I HAVE NOT I HAVENT!!

(just putting a division line here cuz I don't wanna clog tags with a wall of text lololol)

so im trying to find as much info about gavin(and behind the scenes/cut content stuff how the game was made the og story etc ) as I can cuz I can't find anything ANYWHERE so I'm trying to find interviews of the actors because I saw people quoting them but not linking to the quote etc etc and I stumbled across a live stream by the dude that played connor and the dude that voiced gavin was there but I was like hmm head scratch that doesn't look like gavin and that's how I learned that niel newborn mocapped Mr kamski ANNND gavin but did not face model for gavin which leads me to looking up who gavins appearance was based off of (WHICH AS FAR AS I CAN TELL WAS EITHER A GORDON FREEMAN SITUATION (kinda) OR THEY JUST DIDNT SAY WHO THEY BASED HIM OFF OF) which led me to a reblog of a post about gavins EARS OF ALL THINGS quoting one Mr newborn (WITHOUT A LINK TO THE QUOTE) saying that he saw gavin and kamski as half brothers(and also that gavin is more of a dog person WHICH I KNEW IT ) here's the link to the post btw cuz I dot my i's and cross my t's and in the post they just flippantly bring up everybody knows that gavin and kamski are played by the same guy

and the thing is it probably was common knowledge!! its just that the fandom is older now and all the fandom content I see today is surface level and nobody is talking about "ohh look at this clip from this live stream!!" or "LOOK AT WHAT THIS ACTOR SAID ABOUT THIS!" (maybe the kamski and gavin being played by the same dude is a bad example but you get the point)

Like for example arcane again. Interacting with that fandom was so rich because all of its fandom culture was going on at once. What I mean is we were getting fanart, people are sharing tidbits of what voice actors said, prominent cosplayers fandom culture at its peak etc but trying to find that in DBH is like digging for gold in a once popular mine where everybody abandoned all of their equipment and loot deep deep deep shaft but people still frequent it they just forgot about that one tunnel with the good stuff

the loots still THERE, there are still the vet miners who KNOW about it and frequent but they already know about it and everybody else knew about it so whats the point in bringing it up again? THE POINT IS ME!!! I WANT THE LOOT!! (genuinely sorry if this is all not making sense I woke up at 4 am and couldn't go to bed and the best way I express myself is metaphors and I'm tired and I'm sleepy and WHATEVER!!! ITS SEVEN AM I CAN BE OBSESSING OVER WHATEVER I WANT GET OFF MY BACK)

dont get me wrong i know research is apart of every fandom experience if you want to get into it more its just never been this hard for me to find information. its like its a well known secret but is only a secret to those who weren't there when it happened. Maybe I'm just spoiled by video essays but even just finding content on how the GAME WAS MADE WAS SO HARD the short interviews in the game practically gave us nothing and i could HARDLY find videos about it and i get the sense that QD doesn't wanna let slip of how it was made cuz even their own videos are vague UGH like in HALF LIFE id go to the wiki article and reread it whenever i was bored in school and it told me keynotes of the development that i used to look up more about it and the video essays, the sweet sweet amount of video essays... i mean fuck you could find an article about the state of gabe's balls on the afternoon he added gordon freemans fifth beard hair to his model that's how well documented everything was

THATS IT urethra! thats the word im looking for the older fandom stuff wasn't WELL DOCUMENTED!! its known but not really saved anywhere, anywhere easy to find that is (fandom wiki doesn't count idk if there is any info on there but if there is it doesn't count cus fandom wiki is so ass(YES IM STILL BUT HURT THEY DELETED MY OVERTIME WIKI))

I guess this just turns into a conversation about the importance (or lack there of ) of documenting and preserving fandom stuff,not even just like fandom culture just factoids and information about the media in general for the people that weren't there. I think arcane and DBH are perfect examples of why you should, at least partly. I know in arcane/LOL there's a user (hexhomos I think) that has a site where you can look at a bunch of resources about viktor and jayce like there stories (original and new) cut stuff different skins(which is different versions of them) model references, just general information on them and I remember that really helped me get a deeper understanding of those characters where as in DBH like nothing's documented, nobody did ToT(as for as I know) like apparently there are fandom events people host?? who was gonna tell me that, who was gonna tell me the history of those events??? LIke I know some of this stuff is unnecessary but I just think fandom culture is COOL ok SUE ME in conclusion I am tired heed my warnings keep your fandoms alive and information circulating make those video essays make your fanpages!! ready your pitchforks prepare for preservation!! and i haven't for a long time

I'll preface this entire post with a warning: THIS IS A VENT POST the only tags will be trigger warnings

I thinks i've said it once or twice, but I started school this year. This is my first year in college after taking a gap year and also telling everyon i wasnt gonna go. I know jack shit about what im doing and its fucking exhausting. Theres so many things that i feel like I should know but dont because all the college information given out in my highschool was geared toward the college in that town specifically, which is not the college im going to.

I've also moved. im entirely on my own, physically and financially. I just met with my job and am starting very soon which is not good because my sleep schedule is all wrong. I may be switching jobs soon, but i can't just quit becuase, like i said, im on my own.

and those are only the big two. lets speedrun this. my anxiety, my autism, i need new glasses, my feet hurt more than i think they should, im a system, my eating disorder, my aversions that make it hard to drink the water up here, the burnout, the exhaustion, executive dysfunction, i also likely have adhd which mean rsd. im touch starved and touch adverse

those are just what i can think of off the top of my head

but all of this had been leading to what might be a pretty nasty breakdown and soon.

im so fucking tired all the time and that makes it hard to draw, but thats one of my only ways to relax. i like playing mc, but i get bored easily and also i cant sit at my desk for long becuase it feels like my head is too heavy for my neck. it hurts. everything hurts and my job doesnt help me at fucking all.

i was able to draw tsob while dealing with most of my issues becuase all i had to worry about was work. looking at my current schedule, i can find the free time. the issue is using that freetime to draw and not just sleep or dissociate. finding home is very dear to me, but drawing it the way i am can be exhausting and i dont want to start hating it, so i just.. dont draw it most days

i stress constantly about how i appear on my blog becuase i want so badly to do this right. i want to be good at something, like, as a person, not just as an artist. but i hate myself too much to believe in any progress i make.

i know its the rsd mostly but i see groups and i feel gross. its not as bed now (any of you beans that have made it this far, ily /p) becuase i found a community i can actually interact with, but it still comes up, especially because i've moved away from all my irl friends and its so fucking hard for me to make them in the first place. like.. actual friends, not just people i can work with at school

if i keep going i'll probably talk myself in circles, so ill stop it here. theres a lot more but im not going to ramble about my suicidal, intrusive, or sh thoughts on this blog. this is a post to inform you guys of the state of mind im in. im lonely and sad and its all building up to a massive breakdown.

im not going to be leaving tumblr or giving up on my comic, but i probalby wont update as often as i did tsob. i just dont have the energy.

i also will probably post some of my traditional art cuz i gotta fill up a sketchbook for my animation class, so that also takes away from the time i use to draw digitally.

im currently midway thru the ruins near aspio 4-ish hours of gameplay my thoughts on vesperia so far:

- first of all yuri's character is very wudbsjxuskxn to me bc omg he is really this Cool Bishounen Capable Cool archetype played straight and its like.. i cannot for the love of me recall the last time i encountered a character like this, especially as a protagonist. like the closest character i can think of is fucking... Batman. but he isnt a bishounen. and like maybe squall and zidane come close in being a Cool And Capable protags but the thing abt them and every ff protag really (that i know) is that they are Dorks (and no i didnt include cloud as a Cool And Capable protag bc hes just cosplaying as a cool guy, cuz he literally has a mental episode in like the first 2 minutes of gameplay. hes awesome but cloud strife is not a Cool guy) but yuri is not a dork at all (at least so far) and its like. Such a new type of creature to me.. and so im excited on how his character is gonna be explored like whats gonna be his flaw or conflict cuz he seriously has it together so far.. itll probably be smth to do with flynn im guessing

- and speaking of flynn im really liking this buildup of going after flynn like we keep talking about flynn flynn flynn all while we never catch a glimpse of him, its sooo interesting like surely Somethinggg will happen when we meet him.. heehee hee

- also i love how super upfront this game is abt its themes of classism LOL... like w abyss and most other games ive played it takes a while for u to piece together what the game is thematically abt. but this game has it right out of the gate with 'Man The Nobles Are Opressing The Lower Class This Sucks I Hate Nobles They Are Monopolizing Resources The Guilds Offer An Alternative For Specialized Labor And I Hate The Rich And wjsjcnjskdk im honestly loving it

- i already said this but its worth repeating but this game is SOOOO BEAUTIFUL omg its so smooth too and like I Can See. omg. tbf i came from abyss 3ds which is like. god. GOD THAT PORT WAS UGLYJRSJXN but yeah its just incredible to have... smooth framerates... DETAILS I CAN LOOK AT.... i love it 😁 (and ofc this makes me so hopeful and excited for a possible abyss release that looks this good)

- and i already said this but its worth repeating part 2 but again THE DYNAMIC CAMERAS!!! ITS SO MUCH BETTER THAN ABYSS.... WAHOOSOSODKNX

- also the musicccc is saur interesting like theres some parts where its unexpectedly funky like woah..

- and lastly its kinda 💀 by how quickly ive gotten so many party members like huh.. it took a while for anise to join the party in abyss didnt it?? or maybe im just going thru the game faster than i did w abyss... idk but karol joining was kinda so random IM NOT AGAINST IT! but its just like oh ok a kid is tagging along now 😭 and ill see what reason there is for rita to stick with us...
