Star Trek is commonly discussed when it comes to fandom history, and rightfully so, but I also think that The Adventures of Tintin should be brought up because the influence that the ship between Captain Haddock and Tintin has on both fandom and LGBTQ+ history is very fascinating. There is a mural painted in Paris of them kissing created to combat homophobia in Europe and the mural has been painted in other locations around Paris.
