#01.    go  to  file   ->   make a copy,  in order to edit.

#02.    do not utilise the page colour in page layout , it might break the document's custom sizing. instead , you should click on the background and hit replace image !

we talk a lot about how mental and physical disabilities are different lived experiences and just having one doesnt mean you understand the other, BUT i dont see a lot of people talk about how they can still interact with and feed off of each other!! so heres a shoutout to:

medical trauma survivors

medical abuse survivors

people with endocrine disorders that affect their brain chemicals

people who are depressed due to the isolation of living in an inaccessible world

people who are anxious due to ableism in the world

people whose mental illnesses led to their physical condition worsening

suicide attempt/self harm survivors who retained lasting injuries, pain, or other illnesses

physical abuse survivors who retained lasting injuries, pain, or other illnesses

people with chronic illnesses induced by eating disorders

people with chronic illnesses induced by substance abuse

developmentally disabled people whose condition affects both their mental and physical motor skills

people whose psychiatric medical team doesnt understand their physical barriers

people whose physical medical team doesnt understand their mental barriers

people caught in the loop of their mental and physical conditions making each other worse

and everyone else who lives with me in the middle of the venn diagram of physical & mental disabilities. its hard when everyone seems to assume you can only be one or the other, especially on a website full of discourse yet entirely devoid of nuance. i love each and every one of you!

Thinking about Franziska Von Karma again and the weird relationship she has to like. Femininity. This is a reading so far divorced from the author's intent that I was debating even posting it but w/e. anyway.

I think that there's a lot to be said about the ways that Franziska both embodies and rejects traditional aspects of femininity and how it ties into a lot of her deeper seated emotional conflicts. She presents herself as feminine in her movements and her outfits, but her actions are loud and violent and often immature at times, which I think is a really fun opposite to Manfred

Because while Franziska is a feminine presenting woman who embraces aspects seen as masculine, Manfred is a masculine presenting man who takes certain aspects seen as feminine as a power play to make him seem more elegant and professional. But!! in the same breath that Manfred's jewelry and eloquence make the other characters perceive him as graceful without that diminishing the power and intimidation he has, Franziska adopting masculine aspects make the other characters not take her seriously and see her as childish and unprofessional

Franziska adopts aspects of gender norms opposite from her presentation just like her father, but what works for him hurts her, and I think that's kind of a running theme in everything she does. She idolizes and emulates him, but she's in a catch-22-- she's so far removed from what he is and is so fundamentally different from him in so many ways that her attempts to copy him just come back to bite her, because it just doesn't run both ways and they were operating under a completely different set of expectations

TLDR I think Franziska is trying to play by Manfred's rulebook not realizing they were playing a different game from the start

From my understanding cannibalism is not part of the Bhaalist doctrine. And yet the Dark Urge was (is?) very clearly a cannibal. As evident trough several dialogue options they themselves can say, the narrator mentioning it, and some npc’s saying so as well.

One that stands out to me is that cultist in the temple - pretty blonde twink - who is delighted the dark urge is back because Orin doesn’t let them feast on flesh like you do.

Part of their cannibalistic tendencies could simply be the Dark Urge. But the Urge is also (mostly) Bhaal’s will. And again, it isn’t part of the doctrine.

My suggestion is simply this: Something they have grown a taste for.

Sceleritas Fel comes to the dark urge after they’ve killed their adoptive family. Described as ‘a little Urge, barely an adolescent’.

They are young, and on the streets and have no way of really supporting themselves in that moment. Their butler is not exactly a help in that department either.

You are hungry.

But if you’re killing anyway, why let that body go to waste? Flesh can be eaten, and you are young and hungry. And your butler is delighted at your viscousness, it’s his suggestion even.

So, my friends were great and ran around collecting things and talking to the devs they met about my food project and asking John Epler about Bellara's favorite food.

But, the signed cookbook arrived, and I got the hard-earned buttons my friends collected for me, the mini poster, the signatures, and the wonderful artwork of Bull they made for me (definitely can't tell my favorite character), and wanted to share! (Ignore the Solas box, I'm temporarily holding the buttons in there).

Quick headcanon!

I feel like Falena would be REALLY excited to meet Morel, especially with all of the begging and bargaining he had to do with Leona.

It took almost a full year, but Leona eventually cracked when Morel also started to ask about meeting his big brother. While she was generally curious, she was also curious about their relationship since she’s a big sister and her baby brother and baby sister are two of her favorite people and she’s never experienced much resentment for them (the only resentment she had was when she was a teen and overwhelmed from all of her mother’s abuse and expectations, but that’s a whole other post-). Basically, it just took Morel asking about meeting Falena for a week for Leona to crack like an egg and ask his brother when a good time to come over for a small dinner would be.

Falena was so happy and excited that his wife was tempted to shove the entire bottle of his prescribed ADHD medication down his throat. But she didn’t and just shook him a little bit to get him to shut up and take the fucking meds-

When Morel and Falena actually met each other, both of them were surprised.

With Leona’s venomous and resentful tone he had every time someone mentioned his brother, Morel expected a less than friendly and condescending person to be Leona’s brother. She didn’t expect the smiling, cordial, polite, and cheerful man before her. Though, it did make sense he was Cheka’s father given that he was very similar to his son, only more mature and calm.

And Falena would’ve never guessed his little brother would be taken by a human woman. Leona almost always referred to humans as herbivores in a passive way, or annoyed if he was talking about someone who irritated him. So, Falena didn’t expect the incredibly small, sweet, and soft-spoken woman to be the one Leona was head over heels in love with.

But Falena did understand once the banter started; the way Morel dared and challenged Leona while also out-witting him in several ways made it very clear why Leona loved her. Leona loved a challenge both physically and mentally, and Morel was both of those things. She wasn’t a doormat, but she wasn’t so bullheaded that she couldn’t see past her own nose.

During dinner, they got along very well. Unusually well. They started making small talk and suddenly they were babbling together like they’d know each other for years-

A tiny part of Leona was relieved that Morel wasn’t taken badly, though it would’ve been impossible since his brother was a people person and Morel was incredibly charming to almost everyone, but an even bigger part of Leona was scared at just how well his brother and partner got along.

This likely meant more time spent at home. And Leona didn’t really like spending a lot of time at home. Cheka already loved Morel to little bits and pieces and basically begged to go to NRC to see her every weekend and now Falena was instantly taking a liking to her.

Leona’s dread only grew when Falena’s wife, who had just gotten finished with some business that was originally meant to take longer than it did, sat down with them and instantly got along with Morel as well.

Now he’d have to spend more time at home. Fuck.

Well, at least he got cuddles and pets afterwards his he behaved. The overgrown cat will do anything for those-

From first impressions one can immediately infer while watching season two that Maggie and Nina were stands in for Aziraphale and Crowley respectively because of their personalities. But, after rewatching I can’t help associating Maggie with Crowley and Nina with Aziraphale instead which doesn’t seem like the more obvious paring until you consider that Maggie runs a godforsaken Record Store, selling/using an outdated form of technology to listen to music *cough cough THE BENTLEY* while Nina is literally running a coffee shop, supplying people with food and sustenance *cough cough AZIRAPHALE*
