thinking about how Arlathan forest looks like it's a nuclear waste zone. with people becoming trees over time and joining the zone (like in "annihilation" by jeff vandermeer), veil jumpers being more like stalkers (especially if you think about "roadside picnic" by arkady and boris strugatsky, with artifacts in both examples being something that Gods left behind), and literal crater of glass where we go to save elves...

I was thinking it through and if Sera is a survivor of the events that took place in the Denerim Orphanage as some of us suspect, then I do think she could deeply relate to Cullen's trauma with Kinloch.

it would also explain why Sera is so viscously against magic and frightened of demons to such a high degree, because she witnessed a massacre that then lead to a demon infestation. She watched friends, possibly adopted siblings, die at the hands of the city guard and demons raise up from their ashes. What happens if she falls one day? Will what remains of her become a demon? Will she succumb to rage and pain, then sword and flame?

And if Cullen saw the same thing, would she not understand what he went through? Would she not empathize with his fear and confusion? Would Cullen not see the same misdirected anger and torment in her as he did in his younger self and wish to help her? At least they could talk? Have some one to confide in. They might come from two different worlds but they have similar roots; they are poor Fereldens who saw the worst of the Blight and came out of it, but it didn't make them braver or stronger. Raw from the suffering and the weight of being a survivor.

Not from their perspectives anyway.

So, why not? Why not form a bond? Or at least, they could sit in quiet on the roof and make each other laugh a little.

Did you wonder what actual Cantori Diamond casino looks downstairs, bellow the Crow's base? Took flycam down there and it's completely pitch black, you cant see anything, but than I added spot lights and saw it's actually HUGE nice space with tables, big hallway and tones of npc's hanging out down there in the dark lmao 👀 why did they put all those npc's and space down there only for it never to be seen?!?!? they must've had plans to show it as some point! 😁

This is directly bellow that little bridge at the entrance of Crow's hideout as you're walking towards Teia and Viago.

Hello everyone! Want to get some art from a Palestinian artist while also helping Palestine? I'm going to be running a raffle this week for Gaza Soup Kitchen, the winner will get a Tarot card from me! These tarot cards I usually charge upwards of $300 for due to complexity and time, so if you are pulled, you can receive one for as little as a $5 donation!

You can have multiple entries based on your donation. One entry starts at a $5 donation, multiple entries will be at each increment of $5 (ex: $10 = 2 entries, $15 = three entries, $20 = four entries).

A winner will be pulled on August 3!

Cool project from and by Reddit user Eglwyswrw, a gamebook adaptation of Dragon Age: The Last Court - 'I am adapting DRAGON AGE: THE LAST COURT into a Choose Your Own Adventure format in order to help preserve its narrative. Here's how you can help out...'

"I felt compelled to start this project as a volunteer in order to preserve a playable form of The Last Court that, in spite of being in a very different subgenre of interactive fiction, somewhat keeps a good chunk of the original's spirit... or so I hope!"

"What am I supposed to do if I want to help out? Play it, either on your phone or your PC. Keep a watchful eye for typos, random strings of code that might have sneaked into the text, bizarre balance issues (such as having negative values of something for too long, or having over 100 of them for too long), illogical narrative transitions etc. If possible, screenshot your final stats (at the bottom of the page) and send them to me/copypaste it in the comments so I can have an idea if the balance is OK. A single playthrough of the demo should last, I don't know, 15 minutes? There should be a lot of variations based on your chosen class and choices so please feel free to play it as many times as you would like! When can we expect a full release? Pretty soon I think. This includes over 37000 words and I took about 9 days to reach this point, with almost a third of the story done."
