One way Alcina is fair with her daughters is how she resolved their fights when they were children. It’s usually Cassandra and Daniela, Daniela would come to Alcina crying, followed by a fuming Cassandra. Alcina doesn’t let the tears distract her, she always asks Cassandra to speak first, to explain what happened before she says anything herself.

More often than not, Daniela is the one who doesn’t listen to her older sister and Cass is quick to anger and the fight happens. Alcina never takes a side without listening first, and she always starts with Cassandra because she wants her middle daughter to be seen and heard.

Often, Alcina orders Dani to apologize to her sister because “she warned you plenty of times and you chose not to listen” and she’d lightly reprimand her unruly youngest

i’m making a slideshow for my friends rating and ranking different cú chulainn character designs and i man. i just found the worst website with the worst cú chulainn and emer i’ve ever seen and i literally had to shut my laptop and walk away.

i’m not going to share that slideshow here bc i wouldn’t want an artist featured in it to somehow find it and be upset if i don’t like their design but. i would actually probably be ok with sharing a slideshow ranking just this person’s various TBC AI “illustrations” because i hate them that much

a little piece of my gameplay today that touched me - I went into my second run of the gondian rescue mission, and this time I was determined to actually save all of the gondians after they died in my first run despite my best efforts.

luckily, thanks to the patch fixes, I did manage to do a lot better this time, and saved almost everyone - but one still died. I didn’t wanna reload but I felt guilty about it, and I just wished there was something I could do to honor his dead body since I knew I couldn’t actually revive him

so… I decided to have my character cast dancing lights over his body. and I think it looks absolutely beautiful :’)

i think something kazuha is not prepared for when he goes to liyue / further nations is how welcoming most of them are in comparison to inazuma? especially considering he grew up in ritou where all visitors & imports are processed and there’s so much talk about “outlanders” he was definitely used to that…. animosity? and the clear line drawn between inazuman and not. watching people pass through there as a kid is definitely part of the reason why he had such a desire to get out there and see the world but it also set him up for a lot of pleasant surprises in how easy it actually is to do so, once inazuma is behind him

My controversial opinion about astrology is that it’s a scam that directly preys on vulnerable people who use it to cope with how unpredictable the world is. The same goes for a lot of the new age stuff that markets itself as “spirituality” but is selling you expensive crystals and shit.

It’s all fun and games until you’re paying $150 to get your astrology chart done because the person markets themselves as someone who comes from a long line of spiritualists or whateverthefuck.

“Bat swinging at wasp nest” post but I cannot be nice about astrology people. No you did not find the one good or cute or quirky way to believe the quality of someone’s character is biologically pre-determined. Just because you found a way to not base it on race or ethnicity or gender does not make judging someone’s character on an innate and uncontrolled attribute suddenly teehee fine.

I’m even more baffled by the people going “it’s just fun!” “It’s just a hobby!!” Sure if it was something harmless. It’s not. We are quite literally talking about how you intend to judge, treat, view, respect, and interact with someone entirely differently based on an inherent trait. How are you not aghast? How are you not embarrassed? Why are you so insistent on needing to operate on a hierarchy of pre-determined character judgement?
