i know that loid is supposed to be good at everything, but just once i’d like to see him pathetically fail at something despite his earnest efforts. every time i go bowling i am consistently surprised at how difficult it is.

It's AWESOME #but I taught a bunch of kids archery this summer and none of the lads have the right posture lol #I'm walking up and down that line readjusting all of them ahsgdsdf #Imagine Wars going to Wind though like 'remember to pull back to your smile! :D '#and Wind just deadeye staring him down like you serious rn?#caught and removed a scorpion from the lake cabin biffy this summer - that was very exciting #calmed the campers down and put them to bed and then rolled up my sleeves and asked the program staff who was staying with us #for emotional support #her only experience with scorpions was from animal crossing so she was like 'get ready to run' and I'm- I think we'll be okay #anyways it's her perched on one of the toilets with a spray bottle of bleach and me with an empty tupperware from dinner #I caught it under the tupperware but IT MOVED THE TUPPERWARE #we drowned it in bleach and it like finally died but it took a while and then we flung it into the woods BYE BUGGY

So, back around 2022-2023, I had to explain to a BUNCH of friends what exactly is/was the Undertale/UTMV fandom. It was hard to explain AUs of AUs… of multiverses… to people which weren’t there to personally experience the transition?

A lot of these stories and ideas just stems from people getting inspired off of other people, and kind of building up from there. However, if you weren’t really there for the natural progression of that… the fandom will kind of seem like… a lot (even though it kind of is ^^ the rabbit hole runs deep…).

So, I tried my hand at semi-making a “comprehensive” guide to how I see the layers of the fandom ^^” (in a silly, not-so-serious way).

The deeper you go into this fandom, the harder it sometimes gets to even leave 💀

(note: please don’t take this entirely too seriously! I just used this as a way to make the entirety of the fandom slightly more digestible, instead of me yapping for hours in a pseudo lecture about the history of the fandom).

This was the reason I ended up reading the odyssey by the way.#I needed a placeholder name for our cowboy exorcist and I went with 'Nobody-haha-like-in-the-odyssey-wait-what'.#Project discussion wise this isn't the name we use when talking about this character. *That's* staying a secret.#This comic idea was actually one of the first things I ever sketched for Nobody.#The rhetoric at that point was to show off to my game dev partner the humour in having No Gender for a protag.#None binary with a side of 'I don't have the capacity to think about that right now.'#There was a 4th panel to go along with this but I cut it for time. some "new" designs for different crassus and pompey, specifically for a side project I've been playing with that's so removed from anything relevant (action/adventure/horror standalone story lmao) that they kind of needed their own thing. this story's pompey has a neck scar from an Incident™, crassus has shorter hair and wears (checks notes) jewelry sometimes.

#graves grime and gore tag #the default designs are still the ''''trikaranos''''' ones because it's nebulously like. eh. grounded enough in rome #this is the dmbj au but it's less dmbj and more like i put on every tomb robber movie on youku and went 'yeah okay'#while i was working. anyway. when i post from that story. i will make it clear that it is a separate contained story doing it's own thing #this version of crassus also more or less has black hair while my main crassus has brown hair #pompey is bottle blond no matter what universe he's in #god what else what else. it's set during their first joint consulship. crassus is more of an outright dick but it's because he's annoyed #that pompey is not getting with the program (you cannot become sulla during peace time!)#and this version of pompey is like a specific imposter syndrome anxiety has been cranked up to eleven and it's made him #overly competitive in stupid ways like the thing you think crassus is doing does not matter to him in the slightest #we gotta establish characterizations right off the bat and we're swinging big because i am NOT setting up anything prior to Events #like (snaps fingers) go explore the ruins consuls! get in the TOMB FELLAS. Like, did they know in “The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals” that the weirdo who demanded a hot chocolate would be the leading man of the high school horror show?

Did they know the prude they mentioned a few times would be a homophobic murderer who defiled a corpse, fucked a ghost, and became a vessel for dark lords?

Was the homeless man joke in BEFORE the recast because they were still brothers, or not?

In other news. I am now a ghostmaker fan. BY jove is he funny. He's objectively better at Bruce's job at least 2/3 of the time (by a given metric of better). He doesn't get attachements. He's had two sidekicks and two love interests all of whom are reflective of Batman because he so desperately wants to fill the hole of what he thought he could of had with Bruce but didn't and so now on some level he believes that if he shows Bruce he's truly better at being Batman Bruce will come around. He cannot for the life of him not take a jab at Bruce. He has not stopped thinking of Bruce ever. He was willing to stay in Gotham to help Bruce out despite being a guy plagued by chronic vigilante wanderlust. He is literally a walking ninja cyborg aesthetic post.

Minhkhoa Khan you will always be Him.

I have such good memories of those girls though #we celebrated birthdays and holidays together-I still have the shirt of Captain Hook they gifted me #I hope they're happy wherever they are #I found OUAT and Rumbelle when I was discovering myself #those first three seasons hold such nostalgia and magic for me #on another note #Lacey was such an interesting character that I wish they did a little more with #I've been sketching some things out and little doodles about her #like who were her friends? who did she talk to? what are some subtle similarities to Belle but the curse distorted?#I can't imagine having someone look at me but want someone else and other people in town say who you are is wrong/incorrect #I've just been thinking about Lacey bristling at the thought and I remember feeling a little bad that no one really wanted her but Belle #and what about intimacy? perhaps Belle's and Lacey's preferences could be similar but Lacey is more overt about it #anyways just some things I've been thinking about lately :)#I couldn't decide with the golden lace pic if there should be lipstick stains or not so here's both :)#used refs for some posing and hand gestures
