Okay, so am I the only one who wishes we got an episode where Isabella, Buford, and Baljeet hung out with each other? Not to exclude Phineas and Ferb, but friend groups can divert sometimes - each of the kids have had time to spend with Phineas and Ferb without the other two around, particularly Isabella. So I don’t see why those three can’t hang out outside of the boys once in a while.

It’s not even that the three don’t have established relationship dynamics, or that they’re ONLY friends because of Phineas and Ferb - I think it started that way but evolved over the series. But I never see the three being a general focus so to speak. We get IMPLICATIONS that they hang out together beside Phineas and Ferb like in AT2D, but they WERE initially waiting around for them to come back, so it wasn’t even first instinct. And it’s not like they COULDN’T - Isabella always hangs out with the Fireside Girls outside of the guys, and they get invited to hang out with Phineas and the others too.

Anyways, I guess what I’m trying to say is, I wanna see more content of these three, so I’m gonna draw them hanging out.

Before you're out of swaddling, you're placed on a pedestal. Elevated, in some regards. Afforded the greatest privileges available to your people. But they're not quite your people. However thinly it is presented, there's always going to be a degree of separation from everyone you know and care about. Your otherness is constantly reinforced, celebrated even. You're going to be a king. And you don't get a choice in the matter. You must stand alone, forever.

There are other men in the world, but they are not Gerudo. There are Gerudo, but none of them are men. The only people who could understand your struggle exist only as imperious statues and aspirational legends. They are Gerudo men, just like you, but they're not people anymore. They are kings, conquerors, shapers of history, children of destiny, great men. You are a man and that means you are destined for greatness.

What I think is so important to learning how to truly appreciate life is learning how to appreciate the creatures and things we've categorized as "disgusting" or "gross."

When I learned to appreciate wasps, I realized how much they just... don't really care about anything, and they're not trying to be an asshole because they're uniquely cruel. If they have any wants, it is to live. Why would I punish that when I also want to live?

This isn't to say you need to fall in love with the creepy crawlies that stalk this world or to love what you cannot, but to recognize that in their arrangement of atoms, they are trying to persevere, and in the end... aren't we all?

update on fancomics!

Part (chapter) 5 of Romance in Rivendel (my celrond fancomic) is Sooo close to being finished y'all! Just a few more pages :) Also just finalized the scripts for Part (chapter) 6, and will be working on the thumbnails today for it :D Part 6 introduces Glorfindel btw ;)

Also for Of Blessed Thyme & Thistle (my farawyn + Eothiriel fancomic), I've finished all the thumbnails for Chapter 1! Will be 33 pages in total 😳

I'm hoping to really 'crunch' down and get a bunch of pages finished before the end of november (tis' tricky tho! I'm moving house in November so we'll see how functional i am this coming month LOL) for the Comic Crunch Challenge! 52 pages may be a bit ambitious, especially seeing as I Am in the middle of moving house, but even if I get just a couple pages done, I'll be happy :)

Anyway, I hope to create a bit of a buffer for both these comics, so that we can hopefully see some more consistent updates going forward :D
