This Possessed robot toy just wants peace and quiet. But he can’t get it as he is carrying an in known disease that cause a person to slowly and painfully develop some spider like qualities. Here’s the best part. Just like me he nearly throws up at the sight of a spider nearby.

Meet Barnabas a boy who ended up possessing his favorite toy since childhood when he died of the disease later known as arcnicphilla. He has been stuck inside the robot for almost 30 years now and all he wishes is to have some peace and quiet but can’t as he is the only thing containing the virus.

The scientists who worked on him were not aware that he was carrying a more contagious form of the arcnicphilla disease until one started to grow mandibles. You could hear the poor man screaming in pain as they grew.

After discussing Tevinter vs. Nevarran mage/nobility politicking, she comments how it must be even more intimidating if one were from poorer means and fondly says:

'but at least you did alright for yourself...' :)

and realizing her implication, he goes 'how did you-?' :0

Follow-up banter he's like 'so how did you deduce I came from poorer means?' and she basically lists the following observations about him:

always finishes his plate, always the first to eat

covered in gold, yet saves all his candle stubs

gives away more gold to the beggars than anyone else

always looks them in the eye, no aversion, "Poor is familiar"

Emmrich adds that yes, while he hasn't been poor in a while, she's correct, he was.
