My Top 10 Catradora Moments (My Opinion Obviously)

10. Adora Has Always Loved Catra

This is the moment I believe Adora firmly knows she's in love with Catra. I know she's in love with Catra beforehand but I believe this is the first time she realizes 'I'm in love with Catra'. Adora is getting ready to face an uncertain outcome with Horde Prime and she's trying to remain strong. But we can see glimpses of her looking for Catra wanting to her come back. We then see as she's heading to the Heart of Etheria, memories are being projected. The first one that comes up that really hits Adora is Catra. Catra saying her last and classic 'Hey Adora' and Adora is at first thrilled she's back. But then it changes to Catra when she was younger training in the fright zone, Catra from when she was chipped, Catra from Season 4, Catra from season's 1-3 and then current Catra. This to me screams 'Adora has always loved Catra despite all the hardships they've endured'. Even though she realizes deep down, this isn't the real Catra, she wanted to reciprocate her touch. But then the fake Catra disappears as Adora is almost off the edge.

Also this scene brought that iconic 'Somewhere Only We Know' tiktok.

9. God She's Cute When She Laughs

Everyone knows I'm a sucker for fluff so this little moment always stuck out to me. We've seen Catra blush before and she looked at Adora's New She Ra Form and was like 'Damn...she kinda bad.' But this one was so sweet and wholesome. Catra at first is annoyed cause they're teasing her about how cute her helmet is and at first you think she's gonna be defensive about it. At first she is but then she see's Adora laugh and freezes. Adora is so happy Catra is getting along with her friends and is back to the Catra she grew up with. And Catra just smiles at Adora, any frustration she had melted away.

8. Princess Prom

Ya'll this episode was the reason I gave She-Ra a shot. I saw this scene floating around online and I just had to find out what was going on. At the time, I had only recently accepted myself as sapphic and this was one of the first scenes that caught my attention during that time. There were already strong hints of Catradora later becoming a thing but this scene hit differently. We get to see the dynamic these two would have for a few more seasons. The shift between them as they become enemies while still seeing they still care for one another.

7. It's Over, He's Gone

The end moment with these two in She-Ra was fantastic. Hearing Catra's soft 'Adora' as the two smile at each other was adorable. Adora reaches out her hand to Catra and reassures her that it's over and that Horde Prime is gone. These two had gone through so much because of the Horde. And now, their foreheads touch as they're just happy they made it to their happy beginning for each other. With Catra still being snarky and saying 'Good riddance'. It's a good final moment where the two can be happy. And now this just makes me wish we got a She-Ra movie.

6. Please Just Stay

First of all, if you haven't already please read Don't Go by Nate Stevenson. It's a fanfiction he created that takes place after Save the Cat and really helps highlight this and other scenes I'm about to get into later. It's also just really good. But Catra beforehand is struggling to figure out why Adora saved her and dealing with the aftermath of what Horde Prime did to her. She and Adora just had a big fight with Adora telling Catra she never hated her. We find out later, the chip on Catra is tracking the ship they're on and they need to get it off. With Catra needing to confront Entrapta (who she also didn't end things on good terms with) and Adora. Adora tells Catra once they're done, they can drop her off and she won't have to see any of them again. We see this crumbles Catra's usual strong self as she lets herself be vulnerable for a moment. Grabbing Adora's wrist and then her hand requesting that she stays, Adora also blushes. Catra also comes up with an idea to read what Hordak's planning since their minds are connected. Catra knows Adora will continue to fight Horde Prime and knows she'll be reckless. She just asks Adora to stay with her with two two holding each other. I love this moment as we see the two work together and slowly build their bond again.

5. You Coming?

As Adora is succumbing to the virus and Catra calls out to her, we get this moment of Adora's wish. She's back home with Catra, Glimmer and Bow as they're all getting ready for Scorpia's Princess Prom. Adora wants desperately to have this future with her friends and home happy. She's slowly learning to be selfish after she's been stuck trying to give and give as She-Ra. And she wants a life with Catra, the person she's come to love and married to in this vision. Stevenson confirmed couples in Etheria have something to show they have ties to each other. Catra is wearing Adora’s wing buckle on her shirt and Adora is wearing Catra's head piece on her dress. At first, Adora is sad because part of her wants to embrace this future but doesn't think she deserves this. But seeing Catra, the person she's married to in this version ask her if she's coming with them. She can't help but want to follow her. Even when Adora was dying, all she wanted was a peaceful life with her friends and the person she loved.

4. We're Going Home

Save The Cat in general is a great episode and my personal favorite of She-Ra's. Adora manages to save Catra with the help of her friends as Catra is still unconscious from the fall and whatever Horde Prime did to her. Adora gently holds Catra and telling her she's not done yet and that they're going home. Adora's healing powers manage to work on Catra as she wakes up. She also says her classic 'Hey Adora' in a very weak voice. And Adora is so relieved that she just embraces Catra and and Catra is shocked. We see how hesitant Catra is accept Adora's embrace but eventually she does while letting out a deep breath of relief. With her purring being the last thing we hear before the episode ends. Catra purrs mostly when she's around Adora, she's always happy to be accepted by Adora. This description from Nate Stevenson also really helps sells the moment too.

'They stay that way for a long time, Catra’s face tucked into Adora’s shoulder, Adora gently cradling Catra’s head. Adora is careful not to hug Catra too hard or make her feel restrained, anticipating the moment that Catra will start to pull away — but Catra doesn’t. She hangs on so tightly it hurts, her claws digging through Adora’s jacket and into her back, latching into her like she did when she was a kitten and didn’t know how much her claws could hurt. Adora tries not to wince, tries not to move a single muscle, worried that if she does the spell will break and Catra will struggle away, appalled at having shown weakness. But Catra doesn’t let go. And so neither does Adora.'

3. I'm Not Leaving

Save the Cat and The Heart Part 2 have my favorite Catradora moments and this one is one of them. We saw how Catra came back to Adora when she needed her and almost died trying to save her. Shadow Weaver comes in though and sacrifices herself with Adora and Catra reuniting. This time it's Catra rescuing Adora and coming to her aid instead of the other way around. Adora is struggling to use the failsafe and realizes it might not work. She tells Catra to get far away from where she is and that there's no more time. Saying how she can save everyone and touches her forehead with her own. While also stating how it's okay and she's ready. It's heavily implied Adora is going to die trying to use the Failsafe and Catra stands firm on staying with Adora. Saying whatever happens she'll stay here with her. And we see that as Horde Prime's virus is trying to take control of the Heart, Catra is facing it with Adora.

2. You Matter To Me

I love the scene of Adora trying to save Catra from the chip she's being controlled under. Adora is trying desperately to bring Catra back out and trying not to hurt her despite Catra attacking Adora. Then Catra does break free from control and tells Adora she should have stayed away and asks why she came back when she doesn't matter. With Adora gently holding her face telling Catra she matters to her. This is also asked later again by Catra in Don't Go.

“Why did you come back for me?” she demands.

“I —“ Adora’s voice trails off in the silence. Catra doesn’t let go. The only sound is the soft, muffled humming of the ship’s engines as it moves through space, away from Horde Prime. “Because…” She trails off again.

What is she supposed to say?

“Because…you’re Catra,” she finishes weakly.

Because at the end of the day, Adora will always care for Catra. Then Catra get's possessed again as she walks towards the edge fighting to not be controlled by Horde Prime. Adora reminds Catra she's never listened to anyone in her life and asks if she's going to start now. Catra looks amused as she just says Adora's an idiot with Adora agreeing, tears in her eyes. Adora then says she's going to take Catra home as Catra breaks free from Horde Prime saying 'Promise?'. Adora holds out her hand saying 'I promise!'. This is obviously a parallel to when they were kids and they promised to look out for each other. It's such a heartfelt and touching scene

I Love You

'Catra she distracts you, confuses you.' - Shadow Weaver

'You Etherians are all alike. Such strong connections to one another, it's what makes you weak.' - Horde Prime

And yet their 'weakness' and 'distraction' saved the universe. The Catradora confession scene is number one as it is a finale to Catra and Adora's character arcs. Adora is dying and seemingly getting ready to accept her fate. That there won't be a happy future for her. But then she hears Catra still reaching out and calling for her to wake up. Catra hasn't given up on Adora and Adora never gave up on Catra, so she shouldn't start now.

Adora does try to reach for Catra but doesn't quite make it with her saying it's too late and that she failed. Catra reassures her that she's got Adora and won't let go. In desperation and perhaps wanting to finally tell Adora, Catra says.

'Don't you get it? I love you! I always have! So please just this once, stay!'

We hear Catra and Adora's theme Promise in the background playing this whole time which we haven't heard since the episode Promise. Last time it was Catra leaving Adora to follow her own path and Adora learning to let go of Catra. Now, it's Catra reaching out for Adora as Adora takes her hand. Adora is blushing as Catra has tears in her eyes begging for Adora to stay. Adora does wake up in awe asking if Catra loves her. Catra is blushing while smiling calling Adora an idiot. Then she looks surprised as Adora just smiles at Catra saying she loves her too. They then kiss as Adora is finally able to activate the Failsafe but the two are too busy kissing.

I also want to add in the storyboard version of this scene where Catra says 'We always said it would be you and me, together at the end. But not now, okay?'.

Hey babe. I have been rereading your fic In Song Fish Amid the Stars. And ofcource I love Eclipse our little soft baby. But I have to say I love your world building. What I enjoyed especially was Y/n's relationship with Gregory. Not only I wholly loved his character and interpretation (how he grew up to be this kinda loner mechanic that had to have surfer cut) but also his dynamic with the main character! The fact that they were practically like siblings to each other always having each other's back. Even a small mention of their domestic moments (lending books, having meals togehter) melted my heart. And whenever I read this fic and come to the part of Y/n's disappearance from the boat, like damn. I can't imagine the despair Gregory felt, the desperate search that has no limits and ending in sight. After all the ocean is endless. The same goes for the relief when he found put y/ns home. So i have a question. Can we have insight into his point of view? His thoughts, his actions, what did he tell Freddy? How did he feel sailing back home without them? Was he falling apart thinking that his sibling is dead? Killed by the very thing they always feared? The thing he made them scared of (at least in his eyes).

Gregory was the one to discover Y/N's empty room on the ship, and his gut told him something was wrong. Not only were you not in bed, but you weren't sick in the bathroom or even hiding out somewhere to stop feeling the stormy waves. It didn't take long for him to confirm from a shiphand that you were missing—overboard.

And you've never swam in the ocean before.

All he could do at that moment was beg Freddy to start searching the sea. There wasn't time for guilt that first day. Once the big ship returned to the island, Gregory threw himself onto his boat and darted out to join the search with the leviathan.

He kept telling himself over and over that if anyone could find Y/N, it would be Freddy. The leviathan mer is magical, powerful, and big. Freddy can fix this. Gregory lost the parents he never knew, and now he was going to lose the only real human family he had, and he knew you. He has to give you back your old book he borrowed from you. You have to take it back.

But as the hours wanned on and Gregory tirelessly tread deeper and deeper waters, dread and fear began sinking their teeth into him. Freddy was very calm but concerned, the anchor to Gregory's storm. The fatherly mer kept Gregory going with hope despite the infinitely terrible chances.

Gregory was aware of Sun and Moon out in the sea due to a combination of Freddy spying the two colossal fish once or twice in the depths, and your own suspicious behavior, but they never once crossed his mind until he finally returned and caught news of your miraculous survival.

You're alive. He thought you looked like a wet, sopping cat who just barely survived drowning. You kind of were.

That's when the guilt returned to him in full force, and it almost bowled him over. He had to confess right then and there that he never should have forced you onto that boat. He thought he was helping. He thought he could make you less afraid but all he did was nearly get you killed.

You and Freddy told him in the same breath that it wasn't your fault.

But then you kept talking. Or rather, you kept avoiding an answer to his question: how you got back to the island in one piece. Freddy suggested so quietly within Gregory's mind that perhaps your mers are to be thanked for the rescue. Your mers.

And he thought you were a big ol' scared cat. You have a giant mer, well, two, just like him.

AU where Ozai wins the spirit battle against Aang during Sozin Comet and becomes the new Avatar.

Hello, @stardust948 !!! (This could have been a lot darker but I’m in a comedy mood)

1. When Aang loses, no one knows that he’s now not the Avatar. They just know he’s lost and was forced to flee with Sokka, Suki and Toph. Katara, Zuko and Azula are still at the palace and know something is wrong. They try to flee without Azula but she actually asks to go with them because she was beaten and she really doesn’t want to be alone to face Ozai (she doesn’t know why but she has a feeling he won). They get on Appa and fly to where Sokka, Suki and Toph were supposed to be and get the four. Since Aang is tapped out, they’re forced to fly off and regroup. They decide to head back to Ember Island for the time being so they can think over what to do. In this time, everyone tends to their wounds, Azula stays pretty much on her own, and Aang grows angry about how he failed. Katara, trying to help, offers a waterbending training sessions which Aang agrees to. When they try to bend a simple waterball back and forth, Aang finds that he can’t. In fact, he can’t bend anything aside from air. (Aang: What happened?! Katara: You’re sure you can’t bend anything besides air? Aang: Positive! It’s like the other three forms just disappeared! Katara: Well, if you’re not the Avatar anymore…then who is?)

2. Ozai is weakened very much by the Avatar’s attack and his airships have been damaged. He tells those who remain to stay put (cause he can’t be there and he’d die if he wasn’t center stage during Sozin’s Comet). It’s a set back but they’ll destroy the Earth Kingdom later. Ozai is brought aboard one of the ships for a medical examination and nothing is found to be wrong but Ozai, internally, feels off. He tells everyone to leave and remains in the room by himself, eventually falling asleep until they return to the palace. He receives word that Azula is gone but just takes the title back himself and is Fire Lord and Phoenix King at the same time. That night, he’s meditating when he decides to get some water. Getting up, he accidentally trips and waterbends. (Ozai is like 99% sure he’s not a waterbender). He tries firebending, but he also takes a wack at waterbending, earthbending and airbending and can do all of them. Ozai doesn’t know how but he’s the Avatar now. (Not only that, but there are a lot of angry voices in his head. He can’t explain it but once sounds like a very pissed off Earth Kingdom woman and the other a very, very pissed off Air Nomad woman).

3. The Gaang is trying to understand how Aang isn’t the Avatar anymore. Does this mean there’s a new Avatar? Who is it? Is there some new baby in the South Pole? Did Aang somehow start all over with his bending progress? While everyone else is freaking out and trying to find a solution, Sokka is trying to decide what they should do since Sozin’s Comet wasn’t the victory or defeat any of them suspected. They heard that Ozai didn’t continue with the attack so BSS is still standing but that doesn’t make any sense to them at all. (Sokka: He had the perfect opportunity to get rid of the city, why not do it? Aang: Maybe he realized he could choose another path? Everyone:… Sokka: Normally, I wouldn’t consider that but that might be a possible scenario here. Azula, off to the side: Ha! My father would sooner give up his bending than not use Sozin’s Comet. Katara: Then why is Ba Sing Se still standing? Azula:… Suki: Could something have happened to Ozai during that big light beam show? Aang….Huh?)

4. Ozai can hardly move without bending another element and, of course, he doesn’t want anyone to know he somehow can bend all four elements. Under normal circumstances, he’d be very proud to show off his new power but anytime he even considers using his bending in that way, Kyoshi is on him. (He’s 70% sure she can read his thoughts and it’s so annoying). This being said, I kinda want a Roku & Ozai friendship. Roku knew Azulon, a younger version but still, and Ozai has no fond memories of his father. (Kyoshi: Ah, daddy issues. Why does everyone in this family have daddy issues? Yangchen: Says mommy issues. Kyoshi: I do not have- Yangchen: Let’s not go back and forth right now….but you totally do. Kuruk: And it’s not everyone in the Royal Family who has daddy issues, Azula’s got mommy issues. Kyoshi: Oh, yeah, I forgot about her. Szeto: You and the comics). Roku and Ozai talk frequently after everything that happens. They develop kind of an older brother & younger brother relationship with Roku trying to give Ozai good life advice and Ozai saying “I’m gonna do the opposite of that.”

5. The Gaang decides to leave Ember Island and try to regroup with the White Lotus. While heading to the EK, they’re captured by FN soldiers and brought to the capital (without the Avatar and being tired from the comet both physically and mentally they aren’t on their best game). Everyone is put in prison, including Azula who is internally having a heart attack, when Ozai comes and demands to see Aang. Everyone, minus Azula, starts going crazy because they think Ozai is about to kill Aang. Instead, Ozai takes him to a private room and just starts yelling at him (Ozai: What did you do to me?!? Aang: What do you mean what did I do to you?! Ozai: I didn’t know being the Avatar was contagious!) Aang learning that Ozai is the Avatar now would probably make him both laugh, cry and nervously be like ‘what spirits in the spirit world okayed tbis’. (Aang: What do you want me to do? Ozai: I want you to teach me how to keep these other inferior bending forms under control. I can’t move my wrist without throwing water at something. Aang: Why should I help you? You were just trying to kill me a week ago. Ozai: I won’t let all your friends die. Aang: But then I really won’t help you and you’re back at where you started but now three masters down. Ozai:…What do you want?) Spoiler Alert: Aang wants his friends to be free but they find the knowledge that Ozai is the new Avatar way too terrifying and hilarious to just leave. Which is how Ozai gets Katara, Toph and Aang as his new teachers and maybe a “not as big a jerk as you could have been” award.

Thea Sisters Book Reviews: Part 1

I will be posting my honest and unfiltered thoughts on each and every one of the Thea Stilton books >:3 (Including the Mouseford books and Special Editions, or at least the ones released in english)

There will be three per part, a part posted every Friday, and this one is Dragon's Code, Mountain of Fire, and Ghost of the Shipwreck :D

Dragon's Code: 6/10, ah yes, the titular first book of the series. Where we first meet the girls, their mentor, and how they got their name. You’re probably wondering why it’s ranked so low. Well, you know how the first episode of a series is always so different from the others, and it's often people’s least favorite? This is because of “growing pains” so to speak. The series was finding its tone, its footing, its characterization, so it's only natural it's gonna be a cut below the others. And also because it was released in the early 2000s, it was kinda stereotypical in its portrayal of Violet.

The book is from Thea’s perspective, and it starts with her meeting the girls. From there, we see the girls’…rough interactions, and then they’re faced with their very first mystery. It starts with a strange mouse, Hans Ratson. Supposedly, another new student. He’s been acting suspiciously ever since Thea and the girls met him. Then the Whale Family, who work at Mouseford, keep saying cryptic things about what happens if you “stick your snout where it doesn’t belong.” Then after random things start going missing, the girls begin to investigate. They find a secret room, with codes, and most importantly, a dragon statue. After solving the puzzle and the mystery of why all those random items disappeared, they find a Viking ship down in a cave! And down there as well, hanging down from his ankle via a length of rope, is Hans Ratson, or more accurately, Bartholomew Sparkle, a journalism teacher, and one of Mouseford’s best graduates, who disguised himself to investigate that very mystery the girls were.

Like I said before, this book isn’t really the best, since the codes felt kind of overly convoluted, and the girls’ personalities are…not the best. The character designs and illustrations are also notably rougher than the others. 

All in all, despite not being the best book in the series, you should still read it. It’s not a bad book at all. And you get to see how it all started.

Mountain of Fire: 6/10, same reason as the first one. The girls head to Australia to Nicky’s ranch, where her sheep have fallen ill. Who is behind it, none other than the ranch’s rival, Mortimer MacCardigan, the usual jealous, petty, money-grubbing villain from the older books. He poisoned the grass that the sheep eat, and now Nicky and the girls have to find a way to heal the sheep before they die.

This book is definitely not bad, first off the villain has a lot of personality, and is quite memorable, if just for how much of a petty bitch he is. Like damn, imagine being a grown ass man beefing with a college kid. I also liked the conflict with Mortimer, his son, and Nicky, I thought it was interesting. How the hell did Mortimer have a kid?? Who knows. The conflict just didn’t catch my eye as much as the other ones, but that's not an inherent issue with the book. The representation was a little…iffy, I have to say, but I’m not that qualified to talk about that, so I’m just gonna leave it at that. Also, this book is from 2006, so that should explain a few things.

I would still read it though, don’t let my neutrality on this book sway you. It’s still pretty decent, at least compared to the shit they publish now. COUGH COUGH IRRELEWOOD HOAX COUGH COUGH.

Ghost of the Shipwreck:

-Part 1: 

7/10, a short but fun read! We follow the Thea Sisters as they prepare for the hatching of sea turtle eggs, but Professor van Kraken mysteriously disappears. Once they get into his lab, they hear that he’s been sending a Morse code. After rescuing him from Windy Grotto, they find out that there are treasure looters on the loose after the sunken treasure nearby. After getting van Kraken back on the surface and almost crashing the submarine, the girls are attacked by strangers in black diving suits, likely the ones looking for the treasure. And just when they think they’re saved, it turns out that the new ferryman Captain Coral is their boss! They get captured, but with the efforts of van Kraken, they’re rescued and the treasure is recovered. 

Although it only accounts for half of the book’s content, this is a good story. The villain is memorable and is actually competent, the action scenes have that thrill that keeps you interested, and not to mention Violet being an absolute girlfailure, trying to deal with her crush on Professor van Kraken. My only gripe is that it was far too short and that the second part should have been its own book.

-Part 2: 

7/10, also a good read! The girls are invited by Violet’s parents to Beijing to see an opera her father is conducting. When they get there, they meet Xiao, Violet’s childhood friend, and he shows them to their suite (did I mention that Violet’s parents are bougie?) and Violet whisks them all around Beijing. They eventually end up at a market, and they each get a differently colored stone to represent them. They also find a beautiful lacquer box to keep them in, however, as soon as they buy it, someone is already trying to get them to sell it. They refused, and from then on, their trip went off the rails. They find out the lacquer box is the key to a treasure, and that’s why Madame Hu, the pushy woman who tried to buy the box, wanted it so badly. 

I also think this was a fun story! Although, as I said before, this definitely needed to be its own book instead of being shoehorned into one book with a completely different story. The highlight of the book is definitely Madame Hu. With a striking design, intimidating demeanor, and underhanded tactics, she’s one of the best villains to come out of this series. (I might just be biased because she’s hot.) In general, the mystery is interesting, especially Violet’s mysterious, almost prophetic dream that just– never gets explained.

Backstory: Hanabi doesn't have a dramatic life. She was born and raised in a nice area in London by a food loving family. Her mother owns a very well-known bakery, which she and her family live upstairs from, and the father is a 4.5 star chef who owns his restaurant. And even though food basically runs in their blood, her parents are very open-minded about what her future could turn out to be if it isn't something food based (although that doesn't mean they won't teach her how to cook). Ever since Hanabi manifested her quirk at the ripe age of 2 with her eyes closed, her parents were both aware of how her quirk's potential could easily steer her into the direction of training to become a hero.

Quirk: Holy restoration

Mutant type. Hanabi has a halo around her head as well as around the wrists of her hands, the ankles of her feet and one above her head at all times. She also had a small pair of head wings made of nothing but fluffy feathers.

Her main ability is healing herself or a person from physical and mental pain by pressing my hands over theirs together in a prayer "🙏🏾". This will form a halo over the persons head as a sign they are healing;

○ during this process, procedures in the oddly pretty appearance of glowing yellow outlines will start to take place over the injury like a needle and thread stitching up a wound for example but the procedures are harmless, maybe ticklish but harmless. Once most of the healing is done, a small glowing yellow outline of a bandage or a plaster will remain over the injury and will disappear once it is fully healed.

○ She can heaten up her body temperature using the halos healing energy. Anyone who is in contact with her will warm up too.

○ She can control how bright or dim the halo is (kinda lame but it's wtv)

○ She can reposition her head halo at any angle

《 BONUS! 》 She can also detach the hoops from her body to use in for combat! She can control them like frisbees or bomberangs, hitting people or things like targets.

Sibling quirk: Feather weight

Mutant type. Hanabi's head wings are made of nothing but light fluffy feathers that sometimes have a mind of their own. The weightlessness of the wings can be activated (triggered) to affect the entirety of her body, when her brain goes into fight or flight mode.

Way past your bedtime!: Is the name of Hanabi's podcast/live stream; it started as a small YouTube channel that she made with the soul purpose of using it as a safe place to rant her mind out, past the average sleepers bedtime (around after 9:30pm). She didn't really care for getting views, she just wanted to have a place to store her thoughts when she couldnt sleep or had a long day. As months and years passed, Hanabi would start to refine her content. She'd start to vlog what the day in a life of a highschool teen is like, her videos would sometimes feature her close friends and family every now and then, she would include her three bunnies and the family dog as guests, she'd decorated her set up (her bedroom) more, she would also make delicious meals while yapping about broader subjects that her audience would like to see her talk about like a mukbang but without the ASMR; and her highest recommended topic this week, was what she thought about becoming a hero.

the group was in hysterics, there was chaos everywhere, some were worried, others were ready to kill, the mansion almost burned down at least 7 times, half of them were starving by the end of it because everyone was just so darn busy trying to find where he disappeared

jeonghan, jihoon and seungkwan almost lost their minds trying to bring order to the chaos (a near impossible task, let's be honest)

only for him to return later, very confused about the welcome he got (his members on top of him, most of them either already crying or on the verge of tears and a very angry jeonghan, seungcheol had never feared for his life more)

turns out he had left for a overseas meeting; it was sudden and he was urgently required in the middle of the night

in his defence, he had left a sticky note on the door of their bedroom, for maximum visibility, which no one had noticed somehow (you'd think they'd be good at this shit, being, y'know, mafia members)

he never let them live this down, but only after he made sure jeonghan and jihoon weren't going to murder him in his sleep

got scolded about forgetting his charger before going on the trip in retaliation (which is why he couldn't text or call them)

wonwoo threatened to replace his phone and give him a normal one instead of the non-traceable ones he made specially for the group

was reluctant at first, but warmed up to the idea of dating and is now in a poly relationship with jeonghan and joshua

the seducer, again, for obvious reasons

looks like an angel and acts like one too, but only for the kids

can be really scary when he wants to be

the kids have a weird sense of respect for him and the way he gets shit done

then renders his target unconscious to get the required information

because a lot of pervert gang leaders are actually stupid enough to take their one night stands to important places like their offices or bedrooms

if anyone was to ask him a memorable experience, he would tell them about the one time he had to switch disguises from an old bearded man to a pretty young lady

and how he forgot to take the beard off and had worn the bra the wrong way

he was supposed to be going for an interview for the secretary of the ceo

got a itch on his nose in the elevator and realised the beard was still on his face

was very glad that he was alone in the elevator

checked himself just in case and found he still had a flat chest

had to take off his blouse, put the bra back on properly

and then get dressed again, all in less than a minute

gave wonwoo hell because he hadn't warned him despite having eyes on every single camera in the building

A/N: Went a lil' overboard (hehe) with that one. I am sleep deprived but on a mission for you guys. As always not proofread.

[ Two years prior]

"Take everything that's not nailed down!" Buggy ordered his men around as he stepped over the corpses of the enemy crew, "And don't you dare keep something for yourself!"

Oh, Buggy was mad, and not just in the literal sense.

He has eyes and ears everywhere after all, and got notice of a particular rumor going around.

Some no-name pirates had come up with the brilliant idea to kidnap Y/N Y/L/N, the daughter of some nobleman, hoping to squeeze him out of a good portion of his wealth for her return. The clown was almost jealous that he didn't come up with the idea himself...

...but that's even better, right? Now that they've done the dirty work, Buggy only needed to take her from them and collect the money.

"Who do we have here? Another freak for our show?" he scoffed, accompanied by his crew's conditioned laughter.

"P-Please" the other captain begged so soon it was almost boring to torture him now. Buggy laughed menacingly, janking the man by his hair with ease.

"The girl" he demanded, the blades in between his fingers only barely scratching the neck of his enemy. "Tell me where she is and I might even let you live."

Too afraid to utter a single syllable, the man pointed to the trap door that led to a part of the ship's basement.

"Thank youuuuu" the clown chanted way too enthusiatically as he dropped his victim, face thumping on the wooden planks with a loud bang.

Everything was a success up until now - Buggy's crew obliterated those pathetic wannabe-pirates, stole everything of worth and captured those who could be of use to him. And only to think about the ransom money he could get out of that rich asshole made Buggy feel like throwing a dissolute party tonight.

"I'm feeling generous today" he stated as he confidently strode towards his biggest treasure yet, "Everyone who'd rather work for me than die is free to join my crew."

The clown basically kicked in the trap door leading to a small chabin of the lower deck...

...what he found there however made his cheerful spirit disappear into thin air.

"What the heck" he blurted out as he jumped down to get a more proper look, seeing you cower in a corner of your prison.

It was a sight that made even the ruthless Buggy's insides churn.

A fragile yet stunning woman indeed - but those lowlifes had beaten you to a pulp. You were in an almost catatonic state, only reacting when Buggy came closer.

"P-Please, no-no more!" Blood was splattering out of your mouth while you whimpered and begged, flinching when the pirate reached out for you...

...but the hit never came. Instead, his hand carefully ghosted across your cheek, putting some strands of your hair out of the was as he assessed your face.

"Hey, doc!" he then roared, the sudden noise making you wince once again. "Move your ass here!"

Glossy eyes blinked up to the bizarre person towering over you, not daring to raise your hopes after the torment of the past few days.

Before you could even react, the man swiftly picked you up, a wide grin stretched across his face as he winked at you. "You're welcome, sweetheart."

Your intuition told you that you were safe now, so exhaustion soon got the better of you. Buggy watcher mutely as you collapsed right in his hold, his smug smile disappearing.

It was awfully quiet on board when the clown ascended the stairs with you in his arms. He wordlessly let you down on a stretcher, two of his men carrying you onto his ship so he could attend more urgent affairs again.

"So..." Buggy turned around, now again wielding his knives in both hands, "I'm thrilled to hear why you morons would beat the girl so that not even her own father would recognize her! Better choose your words wisely."

"B-But you said you'd have mercy!"

"I also said I'd die my hair pink but here we are" the clown shrugged, unimpressed by the other captain uttering countless excuses.

Still, all of a sudden Buggy just turned his back to the man and was on his heels, leaving his rival - if one could even call him that - appaled as well as speechless.

"Well then, farewell. Let's go guys!"

Even after a few minuted had passed and the Bog Top had set sail again, everyone was too stunned to believe what just happened.

"Boss?" Mohji was the only one daring to ask straight away, "Why did you decide to let them go?"

"Who said I did?"

And at that very moment, the enemy ship on the horizon blew up through several Buggy Bombs, his cheeky grin returning way more sinister this time.

"Now to business..." he giggled as he passed the celebrating crew, quite satisfied with himself.

Without even having the decency of knocking he stormed into the room you were brought to, seeing you sit on a cot bed with your knees pulled to your chest.

"Y/N was it, right? Already looking way less shitty than before!" he commented only to be rewarded with a gloomy look.

"Who are you?" your voice cracked several times mid sentence, and you were surprised by his consideration when the man in front of you offered a glass of water to treat your sore throat. Not caring whether it could be poisoned - hell, right now you'd drink piss for all you cared - you emptied it all in one go.

"Oh, you don't know me?" The pirate did a boastful pose as one of his feet stepped onto a barrel, chest swelling with pride as he introduced himself. "The name's Buggy. Buggy the Clown! The Flashy Funster, the-"

"Well, for your information: I'm also the future King of Pirates." You chose to not further comment on that statement. "So, young lady, now it's your turn to tell me why they messed up your face like that."

"Yeah, I can see that" you interrupted him in a matter-of-factly tone, visibly unimpressed.

Heh, he liked your guts already.

"You're one to talk" you spat venom at him, not feeling like complying - but commenting on his appearance crossed a line for the clown.

He slammed his hands to the wall right next to either side of your face, harshly grabbing your chin and forcing you to look up. "A bold gal for someone that just needed to get her ass saved from the brink of death just a few hours ago, ain't ya?"

"Alright, you want the truth?" you snapped back at the criminal, still refusing to meet his eyes. "My father no better than them! He's an abusive piece of shit that's probably glad his troublesome burden of a daughter is finally not his problem anymore. So there's not one berry to gain from me, which is why that other captain let off some steam on my face. Got it? You happy now?"

"...you're lying. Don't you dare fucking with me-"

Just as he pointed a threatening finger in your direction, you slapped his hand away and pulled a crumbled letter out of your torn sleeve. There it was, black on white, an official seal decorating the bottom right corner of the paper - very formally written, but your father basically told them you're not important enough to pay for.

For a whole while, nothing but silence accentuated Buggy's dumbfounded expression.

"Are you fucking kidding me?! All this work for nothing? Shit! Godfuckingdamnnit!!" Tears began dwelling in your eyes once again, knowing very well this was the opposite of what he wanted to hear. Buggy was already in the middle of a violent ourburst, cussing and destroying furniture left and right.

Pirates are all the same, or so you thought.

"Do me a favour and just get it over with" you asked unnaturally calm when the clown was done letting out his frustation - after all, you had already prepared yourself for the worst back with the other pirates. "Throw me overboard, shoot me, or whatever."

"Wha- the hell are you talking about, woman?!" Buggy facepalmed, rubbing his face to become clear-headed again. "Why the fuck would I do that? I'm not a monster."

For some reason, his whole demeanour caused you to crack a smile in this surreal situation. "If that's the case, you really should consider changing your wardrobe."

How dare you aggravating him beyond belief, after just ruining what should've been his biggest win yet?

God, Buggy had a feeling you were just as insufferable as he was - no, worse...

...it kind of grew on him already, though.

"Haha, very funny." Crossing his arms in front of his chest, the pirate sighed mentally before stating "Too bad for you, but I'm the only jokester around. We're dropping you off at the next best port and that's it."

"Wait-!"

Buggy stopped in his track, his hand already on the doorknob when you called out for him.

"I-I...have nowhere to go." You nervously fumbled with your hands, quietly adding "And I certainly won't go back to my father."

So bratty before and now acting all submissive - not that he minded it. "Your point being?"

"Can-could't I just stay with you guys?"

A loud, kinda unsettling giggle filled the room as Bucky slapped his knee and simultaneously held his stomach while laughing.

"Now that was a hilarious joke! But I like your guts!" He scoffed all boastful, wiping a methaphorical tear from one eye. "Wanting to be fed through, but in what way exactly would you benefit the team?"

You hissed like a cornered cat when the clown's face was suddenly just inches from yours, taking in your appearance from head to toe. "Everyone needs to play a part in my circus, dear."

"I..." you seemingly debated something mentally before ultimatively answering "I can sing. Is that good enough?"

"Mhh? Might've to hear it to decide" Buggy answered, admittedly intrigued if you actually had a talent for music. "Well, I guess there's always something to do on a ship this big. And I have a big heart, after all."

"Hopefully as big as your nose" you retorted without thinking first, but as always your mind catched up on your mouth way too late.

You swear to have heard his head crack as he moved it from left to right, clenching his jaw before turning to you once again.

"I-I'm sorry..." It wasn't like you were scared, the opposite even - for a split second you saw actual hurt in the man's eyes and it made you sick with guilt. "You saved me, and I'm so impolite. I- it was a rough few days. I didn't mean to be mean, really!"

God, why can't you ever shut up for heaven's sake? Joking about one's obviously biggest insecurity and now...with every word you're probably only making things worse!

And if only you knew the horrible consequences other people had to face for less than this comment...

...but it seemed that somehow, Buggy had a soft spot for you already.

"Oh" he finally opened his mouth, voice cutting through the thick air. "As soon as you're healthy again I'll have you clean every toilet on this ship" he grumbled, yet failed to be as furious as he'd usually be with others.

"Deal." You cracked a smile, being rewarded with him unwillingly mirroring it. Ignoring your pain and discomfort, you tried bowing a little before adding "Oh, and again, properly this time: Thank you for saving me. I'm really grateful, Buggy."

"From now on, that's 'Captain' to you."

"...I almost forgot that she was a pain in the ass from the very start."

He threw another empty bottle through his room, the glass shattering on impact with the wall. He rubbed his aching temples, concluding the mess would be a problem for future Buggy.

Yes, in more than one way you and him had been alike - you simply had the privilege to be born pretty.

He had thought you to be a spoiled brat in the beginning, but quickly realized that this first impression of you couldn't have been more wrong.

Ever since he saved you back then you had worked your ass off every single day, not once questioning orders from the man that had given you a new chance at life.

There was always a cheerful atmosphere on the ship and everyone had welcomned you with open arms, so you weren't afraid of those apparent 'freaks' in the slightest...

And while you couldn't deny that this man was insane in more way than one, it was hard to believe him and his crew to be the ruthless criminals they depictured themselves as.

They were simply lost souls that were treated ill just for being different, now seeked out revenge. A cycle of hatred, how sad.

But Buggy had rightfully concouded that while alone they may be weak, but together they could achieve everything.

A 'King of Freaks' they looked up to, who accepted them as they were, gave them a home and purpose - just like he did with you.

...quite the opposite even: You fit right in.

With them, you found an unusual family - yet one you always wished to have.

Talking about the past didn't come easy to you, which was another thing you and the captain had in common.

Merely when you were almost blackout drunk and Buggy had to carry you to your room you had let some details slip, hanging onto his coat maybe a little too tight since he was the only person in the world that made you feel safe.

Told stories about a mother you never got to know, passing away during childbirth. How this man you wouldn't even call a father resented you for it - more likely because you weren't born a male heir.

Back then you were insulted, beaten and humiliated on a daily basis. Treated like a slave and sometimes wouldn't see the daylight for weeks as your father prefered to hide his greatest failure.

Admittedly, you had him wrapped around the finger since the beginning - and it didn't take long until you unknowingly had his heart in a chokehold.

Deemed a failure from the very start...

...trust doesnt come easy to those who have been failed repeatedly - Buggy of all people understood first hand.

At first he found your subtle stares unnerving, mistaking it with the degrading looks he knew all too well...

...yet at one point not even his inferiority complex could stop him from noticing the way your face lit up every single time your eyes met.

While you didn't dare making a direct move on your captian you certainly did not try to hide your little crush for him either.

Moreso, you actively seeked out his company whenever possible, despite all of his efforts to scare you away...

...until he had grown fond of your presence, no - until the two of you had become practically inseparable.

To Buggy, you had one of the brightest laughs that ever graced his ears. And oh, how he loved making you smile through both words and actions. You were so blissfully naive when it cames to his jokes and little pranks, and in opposite to his crew or the usual hostage audience, your outbursts of laughter came from the heart.

It was a mutual benefit, really: Buggy managed to get your reserved self out of your shell, showing you a whole new world with endless possibilities for your former oppressed character to develop...

Even long before you became official, you'd share whole nights together, both as vulnerable as you'd never been before. You'd lull him to sleep with your voice, with his head resting on your lap and your fingers entangled in his blue locks.

...and simultaneously, you brought out the best inside of him as well. Putting up with all of his shenanigans, humbling him if necessary.

And frankly, he needed to be brought down to eart again a lot, so at least once it was good that you had no filter.

Little did you know that he was just as whole heartedly enarmored with you, yet fought it both for your sake and to protect his own heart.

For months, you were wondering if a man of his calibre would even reciprocate those inferior sentiments.

After all, those tender moments you shared were exclusively after both of you shared a fair amount of alcohol - and Buggy chose not to talk about it afterwards.

Buggy remembers it like it was yesterday when he caught you all alone on deck, staring into the night sky with yearning in your eyes. You were clearly shivering due to the cold breeze, until suddenly Buggy's severed hands threw his coat over your shoulders.

You greeted him with an affectionate smile, waving the rest of the clown over. He was looking very plain for his standards, with neither makeup nor accessories and his hair tied into a messy bun.

For a while, the two of you enjoyed the starry sky and salty ocean air together - until Buggy broke the comfortable silence.

"You know, you could leave" he suddenly spoke, shifting his weight from one foot to the other. "Huh? What makes you think I want to?"

"I don't know" he admitted, looking anywhere but your eyes. "You're pretty. Talented. Stronger than you look like. Maybe you'd be better off without some lousy freaks dragging you down."

"Never say something like that again!" you poked his chest as you scolded him. "Without you guys I wouldn't even be still alive! You gave me freedom, a purpose and have been so kind to me all this time, even though I'm nothing but a burden..."

"And I thought I'm the fool here" he chuckled softly, finally looking up from the spot on the ground his eyes were glued on. "To the crew you're like a ray of sun in the middle of a storm! And you're also our star act, besides me obviously. So what makes you think like that?"

Weird. He was behaving so different from his usual self...

...did he care about your feelings after all, or was that just wishful thinking?

"Well, I'm still not a real pirate. You went out of your way training me, and yet- I mean I can't even bear to see people hurt! How's that useful in a profession like ours?"

"You're empathetic" he spoke softly, absentmindedly petting your head. "Something I lack, but not a bad trait. And you don't have to be useful. As long as you're-" Buggy cut himself off, gladly your mind catched up before your mouth would let something slip.

"As long as what?" you repeated his words, and feeling caught his heart instantly dropped into his stomach. "C'mon, you can't be that oblivious."

You only knitted your brows together in confusion, just like every time when you didn't get the punchline to a joke of his. Adorable, it never failed to warm his heart.

"...as long as you're with me, I guess." Your jaw dropped at this almost-confession, just looking at him with a deadpanned expression.

"That's good" you uttered with a shaky breath, "Because I didn't plan to leave the man I love."

Silence.

"Wait- what?!" Actually, he was waiting for a 'just kidding' from your side. You had an awful sense of humor, after all - and this was just too good to be true.

His reaction did nothing to calm your nerves. After you finally found the courage to confess he wants you to say it again?!

Clenching and unclenching your fists, gulping several times to get the feeling of a lump out of your throat.

"I said I'm in love with you, Buggy!"

Dwelling in those memories did in fact make the hurt of today even worse, he deduced after he could finally tear his mind away from the past.

Buggy buried his face in his hands, mentally preparing himself to step in front of his crew again. Maybe he should redo his smeared makeup, so he wouldn't look like the perfect picture of misery in front of his men.

You're still out there, after all - and all alone in a pirate infected island at that.

"Bring me one more!" Buggy commanded no one in particular as he staggered onto the deck, his crew frightened as they were aware of his current mood. "B-Boss, we're all out. You drank-"

Buggy sucked in a pained breath, ready to let out his built up turmoil of emotions at anyone that would dare make another sound...

...until Cabaji returned with grim news:

"We found her, boss. She-" he paused, knowing his next words might get him into an awful situation.

Immediately, the clown grabbed his subordinate by the collar of his shirt, his severed hands lifting him up with ease. "Where is she, huh? Tell me!"

ok so ive been making this 1/4 bjd of an oc (the succubus i posted a while ago) as a side hobby lately. ill post pictures once i finish everything, but basically what happened was i needed to spray seal all the unstrung parts after blushing them. so i was taking a bunch of wooden kebab skewers and stabbing them into a cardboard box to hold up the parts in the air. (that way i can spray them while holding the skewers, not touching the sealant & have them dry in the air etc etc.) well of course while stabbing them into the box i got a little careless and did it with my arm over the previous skewers andddd... bam theres a skewer stuck in my hand! thank god it didnt go all the way through but it was about 1-2cm in and after pulling it out i had this huge hole in my right hand lol! afterwards (and still kinda now) I can't put much strength into it and it hurts if I do too much. i probably hit a nerve or something!

its crazy though bc a ton of other bad stuff happened right after (that's way too much to talk abt) but i ended up having to get IV's in both my wrists at the EC which made my hands even more unusable 😔 I'm doing way better now but bc of all that, the skewer incident really became the least of my worries!

I am always a promoter of jojo!!!!! its so funny you say that though, because i had the exact same interaction w my best friend who's also a lesbian. (she was the one i spent 50 mins in voice notes explaining the plot of part 4 just with the change that kira's a lesbian now LOL) if u love yuri and wanna get into jojo i STRONGLY recommend part 6!! its prison lesbians!! you really don't need to watch the previous parts to watch it, most of everything u can pick up on by context clues. it's my absolute favorite part, and the way women are written in it is really good!! i got my friend on it and she loves it despite knowing nothing of jojo before.

i love jojo so much but i must say that especially in the early parts, the women are either nonexistent or badly written. its only when you get to part 6 that they get fully fleshed out (and really well i gotta add)! but even despite that i really really love jojo for all that it is!! its such a unique show and you get so many unique and interesting moments that u really can't see anywhere else. i mean who else has a plotline where u have to fight vincent van goh made from a stand called bohemian rhapsody!? its crazy! (and ofc just know that jojo is a fighting show first n foremost, so while there can be some subcontext that makes people ship characters, there's not that much actual romance, much less queer romance between characters to speak of ☝😌)

i would definitely recommend part 6 if you wanna see strong, complex female characters with an amazing plotline. and if u like mystery with a patrick bateman-type villain, part 4 is still really fun to watch (ESPECIALLY if you watch it while imagining kira as a lesbian <33 )

Desmond goes by He/She/They/Its. Everything pretty much goes for them. She’s genderfluid.

•AroAce

Desmond in this au is aroace. He still had that past partner like canon desmond does. But after she had disappeared, it helped him discover himself after being unable to be a suitable partner for anyone else due to stress and general complications with understanding people.

•Artistry

Desmond is still very much into art, but taxidermy is what she values higher than most. She thinks it’s a beautiful way to show the life an animal once lived or a creative way to express oneself through an animal.

•Airship or water ship?

Desmond in this au owns a mixture of both! She owns a cruise ship with an attached airship at the top (the Bostonius)! Making her able to leave the ship without having to turn the cruise around and an easier place to have the airship without having to put it into a hanger. Her crewmates often call her red or dessy, a fun little nickname!

•Glasses?

Surprisingly, her glasses are only for show. She’s got no lenses in those red rims and are merely an accessory.

•Profession

Desmond studied the arts of archeology and anthropology. He’s well versed in the two topics. Archeology is something that peaked his interest since it was a major thing in his childhood. Often times, his father would bring him to dig sites to see pottery from the past and how humans used to live. Unfortunately, his father was taken by a suspicious group of people, as well as his mother.

Anthropology also peaked Desmond’s interest as it went along with Archeology. Learning about how human being behaved throughout history over time is interesting to them.

This is more of a habit but, Desmond is also an interested hunter. While learning about different cultures and their practices, she learned more and more about different hunting strategies used by many cultures. These were inspirational, so it slowly became a hobby. Of course only in areas that allowed hunting. Nothing non-ethical for her!

•Similarities and differences

Desmond and Descole act VERY differently. Desmond is simply just an act for the public eye.

Also, not called “Jean Descole” in this au. She’d probably find it rather ugly to be called “Jean” and thinks that name is stupid. Her canon counterpart would definitely hate her.

Desmond and Descole both share the same pronouns, that part does not change. Same with their sexuality.

Desmond is more open and tries her best to communicate with people, while Descole acts more cold and serious. Descole also gets agitated more easily compared to Desmond.

•Outfit and design.

Descole’s outfit is made to hunt. It’s hunting gear. She has white hunting gloves and a purple hunting jacket.

The boa and cravat is for style, might as well look good when you’re hunting. (Not..very affective..but don’t tell her that..)

The cape is also for style but it’s also used to hide her belt and anything else she has concealed in her pockets. The pattern of the cape isn’t very consistent but it has the overall pattern of a leopard with a soft texture. Often times her chihuahua, treats, enjoys to lay in it. (Treats is the Keats dupe for this au! hehe). Can ditch the cape when she needs to run after prey and it’s slowing her down.

Her boots are lightweight so she can easily run after her prey if needed.

her hat is funny, that’s why I did it lols. She can’t own a cat, or else it would knock it off all the time haha!

Under everything, it’s just a plain cream shirt with her hunting pants.

The shadow is a design choice that I like hehe, it allows her to blend in with the darkness since she mostly hunts at night. Also makes her mysterious hehehe lalalal! Desmond can also have this shadow to show the cover being blown.

Mask to conceal her identity.

Wig is not connected to the hat, if she wants to take it off, she’ll take it off from the front, similarly to how the masked gentleman takes off the costume for the big reveal.

•Weaponry

Descole carries a belt on her waist that holds her smaller tools. For example, her cautery tool she stole from her adopted father (Raymond). Carrying it around incase she needs it for prey. (Of course, it’s only been used on one creature she’s hunted.)

Another weapon in her arsenal would be her handgun. It’s used near the ending of Randall’s game. She has larger ones but she carries a small one for quick trips and not for longer hunts.

Lastly, she owns a net guns. Made by herself. The case is a deep dark purple with a red “D” to label it as her own. It has foam to protect each netgun head and handle. The yellow button on the handle is to release her white web onto her prey. She mostly uses her net guns instead of killing what’s she’s hunting right away.

• Diet.

She’s a hunter that eats her prey. if her prey so happens to be Human, she won’t find a problem using every piece that she can.

With her normal hunting, she often uses every part of the animal. For example, if she were to hunt a deer, she’d use every piece.

Though, she has yet to eat a human being. She had plans to feast on a red headed woman after her plans had failed since she had no more use for her, but that sadly didn’t go through. Once you aren’t needed anymore in her eyes, she’ll find a way to satisfy her hunger.

•Under Both

During the Randall game, Des gets shot in her shoulder, leaving a scar after raymond tried to tend to its wound.

Des had gotten breast reduction surgery by raymond. Raymond has surgical experience, he’s a retired surgeon who decided to work in an orphanage where he met Des and her future crew.

Raymond is like a father to des and was happy to make her feel more confident in himself.

The wound on their right hand was caused by desperate measures going through the labyrinth in Randall’s game. She carved a pathway onto her hand so she wouldn’t get lost.

He’s got a symmetry line down its chest. Idk, just a neat body detail I wanted to add because I think it’s nice! hehe

• Under Descole

She wears a binder under her descole outfit to appear more flat chested. She doesn’t mind her breasts but she’d rather wear that when she’s hunting that a bra. Feels more contained.

((Estin and the Flyheight are directly linked. The only members of the crew that kinda know how are Flynt and Sevarin, but while Flynt was there Sevarin heard second hand.

The Flyheight is a modification to a standard airship hull. Back at home a skilled shipwright would know the shape, and notice the modifications. It was at the center of an experiment back in Flynt’s home world.

The Crysgon ocean is a rather strange area of their home world. A decently sized ocean where every so often the geography of the place changes. The only common feature are large crystals that change between clear and milky white with a constant rainbow sheen. They exist all over the world but the Crysgon ocean is the most prominent concentration of them and where you can find the largest ones. Crystals the size of medium houses sometimes being spotted on islands or just in the ocean.

Flynt and Estin were both Blanks in private service to a noble who had a desire to experiment with the crystals of the Crysgon ocean. As it has been long theorized that they were the reason islands would random appear, disappear, oceans would grow and shrink and reality would change periodically. He was operating under the theory that they were magic related and sent Estin and Flynt a to act as blanks to keep the crystal stable until it could be studied.

It sorta worked. They were able to mine a large crystal a bit bigger than a person and get it out. Due to Flynts limited range he frequently sat on the crystal during his on duty period. However as they continued to blank it the crystal began to cycle between its states of ‘clear’ and ‘clouded’ faster and faster. Until shortly before ‘the event’ where it was cycling every minute or so.

Flynt was on top of the crystal until a storm fired up and six surrounding islands began to glow intensely. He was knocked off by a wave and a tear to the ships decking which exposed that reality around them was coming apart. The Flybeight had ended up in a Crysgon reality shift. And in fact they seemed to be the cause of it. Confused and terrified he went down only to see Estin trying to stop the shift, but failing as he held onto the crystal.

There was a moment where Flynt tried to help, but reality shifted and the ship, crew, crystal all vanished. Leaving Flynt to fall a (fairly short) distance to the ocean. It seemed that having kept his blank ability on there was a magic component to the shift so he had absorbed a lot of magic. He used that energy to swim to a nearby island.

He arrived at a small village on a ‘new’ island. Half the village looked to be made up of dated buildings, while half seemed to be covered in a lava flow. Although there were signs of people living through the eruption. He came to discover this had once been a trading outpost centuries ago at the edge of the Crysgon ocean, until it had shifted one day. Half the island had experience time at a 1:2 rate (that is half the speed of Flynt’s reality) while the other half had experienced it thusly until an eruption happened and time stopped. Thus part of the village had been covered. Though there were other towns and survivors who had built up. Flynt was welcomed and began to make a life for himself here for a few weeks when the Flyheight returned.

All the crew was gone, or on the island as Flynt had discovered with about a third scattered across the island, and 2/3rds missing. However on the ship was only Estin, his hair silver now. His memories were scrambled, though he vaguely remembered Flynt. Oddly he didn’t remember being a blank, or what blanks were. And until Flynt demonstrated it too him he thought it was a ridiculous idea.

The other thing was that for roughly 3/4’a of the time the Flyheight was missing Estin had memories of being in another world and flying about. Alone linked to the ship. He remembered something happening and coming back in a panic, but not exactly what caused it, just that it scared him.

The crystal had vanished from its storage. But instead had merged with the engine and living metal of the ships hull. Reinforcing it and improving it in almost every way. It also seemed to have merged with Estin’s body. This meant Estin could control, repair and modify the ship with his mind. Synthesizing metals and parts to repair the ship with.

When Flynt asked what he wanted to do Estin remembered his former boss and said ‘nothing to do with him’ so Flynt took him and a few of the locals to a nearby island he knew of that was unaffiliated with their previous lord.

This was where Seravin was serving and Flynt had been exchanging letters on and off. After doing some trading he made a proposition to Seravin which she said she would consider upon his next return (as the ship had taken on more goods to carry and trade having made a modest sum) and Flynt, and Estin agreed before they returned and stocked up.

Finally confident with some companions this was when Estin admitted he could fairly freely jump the ship. To prove this Seravin picked a type of location and, after a bit Estin jumped there. This was the moment and the Flyheights crew formed. Lia was their first off-world crew member but she came later.))

i think everyone knows already but there's no canon base for the ship itself lol, they're just two guys i liked enough to pair together.

i don't think yoshimine has any defining traits other than being a good forward (literally, that's his game description) and even if it's been a hot minute since the last time i watched inago, i don't think he had something specific in the anime. he was just there with his flying fish hissatsu beating up sangoku until raimon obviously won. i think i made up most of his personality atp, but i believe compared to his kaiou teammates he's a little less arrogant and all, but he's still a seed. as for inaba, WE HAVE AN USEFUL IN-GAME DESC🎉 and he's rude and overconfident and prideful and i love him for that. i think everyone hates him at some point because he has a terrible personality. inaba and yoshimine don't get along well, they probably hate each other at first. inaba because he thinks lowly of yoshimine and yoshimine because he can't stand inaba's attitude. after the first episodes kuro no kishidan disappears, and i personally headcanon that after tsurugi left they just disbanded the team and fifth sector doesn't give a fuck about the members so inaba is still around their influence but isn't regarded at all. for kaiou, a team of all seeds, i think they sent them back to god eden. yea this one's pretty bad sorry. so maybe inaba and yoshimine knew each other in not so good terms before kaiou's loss and started to get a bit more along after that. it makes sense in my head, i swear. but also they're doomed because yoshimine is sent back to god eden so like, they don't see each other until the protags fix everything. also as far as i know inaba isn't a seed, just a player who's under fifth sector but i like to believe he is one because it would make much more sense. in my perfect world inaba and yoshimine met in god eden without recognizing each other, but still, they're both first years and holy road is at the start of the school year so we have three thousand plot holes, like: when did they go to god eden? how did they even met each other there? when was kuro no kishidan created? i think akihiro hino should answer my questions. jokes aside i cant make it work without tweaking a bit of canon or ignoring canon itself, but we ball. now, ignoring the plot because otherwise i will go insane, i think it would be so fucking funny if inaba was the one who had a crush on the other. he would totally hate it and try to ignore it so much it'd make him crazy. both are on some stupid level of loser anyway so it's not that it would be better if we reverse the roles. they're the kind of couple that disagrees on almost everything and broke up at least 3 times but they still work somehow. they're kinda terrible but i love them they r my losers (and who knows, maybe every once in a while they can be sweet with eo)

Finale Thoughts...

I have just watched it once through and here are my initial feelings

The Morrigan Manor Episode was ok.

After the Guide tattled on Guillermo for the last episode it was harder for me to feel bad for her in a weird way. I felt like I understand why they aren't friends with her. She doesn't match their vibe at all. Also the oil paintings were too much sweetness. ( that being said I still love the Guide, I just hope we get more of her badass self next season)

Laszlo using the doc footage to save them was great though. Laszlo was top tier all season. The fencing fight was the disappearance I liked best. Matt Berry is so hilarious.

Felt like the reveal it was the Guide was poor/ to obvious and I mostly hoped to have Nandor find out about Guillermo for this episode.

I maybe need to watch again but for some reason I thought Nandor would react bigger when he finally found out.

Exit interview had a lot of highs and lows. Probably my least favorite finale of the show over all though.

High- I loved the gang protecting Guillermo. Each worrying for Guillermo in their own way. Nadja and Laszlo genuinely caring for him. Colin calls him Gigi. Nandor going to his moms house and then there mini fight to prove they trust each other also awesome. Nandor knowing how to fix Guillermo amazing. I was ecstatic when Guillermo finally turned. When he finally felt it. After all this time. The vamps all taking him to hunt awesome. They are a family. I also loved that it is Nandor that knows this is not for Guillermo. The Djinn. The whole crew coming together for the fake ceremony was a genius plan of nandor.

Lows- he turns back so fast. Like after 13 years of servitude, 5 seasons and this whole season? I would have loved for them to just end with the turning, then black. They could have used next season to explore Guillermo changing his mind. Very anticlimactic. Like no matter what everything has to comeback to the status quo. It was a little reminiscent of how the baby Colin stuff meant nothing, and how the time in London was also swept away. Something Something about how if you choose vampirism nothing ever changes maybe. I am also concerned about Guillermo not having that motivation anymore. He just loves the vamps so he stays as their butler? He received everything he wanted. Nandor said he would live their as their equal. So is that off now? Other stuff I was not happy with. Nadja's storyline was pointless in the end. They could have done a lot more with the Guide/Nadja thing. She wasn't even central to how it was resolved. Natasia Demetriu is so fantastic, I hope they finally start centering her next season. I also wish they would have left some kinda cliff hanger. Is that weird? Like is something happening with the creatures they made? The vampire council? The energy vampires? The over hypnotizing Staten island? No? Didn't know I would not like everything tidied up at the end. Also almost would have preferred Morrigan Manor air on its own.

Over all this season was fantastic. Pride Parade is one of the best episode of the whole series. Urgent Care, Local News and The Roast were also top class.

As for the Nandermo of it all, Last year kinda put me on the path to Gen ship them, Guillermo not wanting to be a vampire anymore makes me think the show will end with him leaving them behind.

If they are leaving the Guillermo wants to be a vampire behind I hope next season they give him really great new motivation or maybe just refocus on other characters stories instead. Especially Nadja .

Back at the camp when w-11 had to step out.

Vreeland: I'm definitely am picking up a very unusual Flux of hive readi...

Both zliverite and his ghost: ahhhhhhhhhhhh! It's the witness! He's found us!

Vreeland and w-11 both look at each other and chuckled.

Then Limix and Grolo come barging out the front doors. Then they both look at each other shaking their heads due to it being comical and due to them being in disbelief since they haven't met Zliverite until today.

07 and shardin both go into hiding and then they had remberd that 07 actully can make both of them invisible and they both had disappeared.

[Yes I know 07 has too many powers and or God powers that is how this clone of me oc is and she doesn't use her powers all the time for a secret irl reason but she also limits use of some of her powers for it being to God like in most situations unless it's prank or crazy event time.]

[And those powers could pontially kill the story. I hope it doesn't though. There's also another thing that could kill it too but I'm waiting until it's time to discuss it. It also makes this story more interesting and unique]

Elsie: I'm about to go take a look outside to see if the hive has been near here. While you all try to find Isles and Harp as well as try to get in contact with whoever that was on that transmission and to find better answers.

The exo stranger, zliverite and ghoztt all head outdoors.

07 then goes to the transmission machine that w-11 was trying to find the source of the signal. Then 07 has started playing around things and somehow...

Then they both turn around to both thank and ask 07 how she manged to do that and she wasn't there but Shardin was floating there.

W-11: while looking around um is 07 invisible again?

Vreeland: I don't see her on my scanner.

Shardin: She also can teleport, breath fire, change form, burrow, fly, breath space...

W-11:

Limix: holy smokes that's alot of powers! How much of those are actually real!

Vreeland: .... please tell me its on her file.

Shardin: I belive it is thanks to the trube leader.

Vreeland: The trube again?

W-11: hopefully she's safe.

07 reappears with Isles and Harp.

Both Vreeland and w-11

The pryamid ship lifts off east from the camp

The power cuts out.

The dreadnought blasted the ship into space and then lands east of the camp site.

Everyone: The trube!?

They all come running out and then here comes zavala with eris morn from the east side.

Elsie, Vreeland, Isles: zavala and eris morn are coming from that trube ship?

07: woah...

Limix: um excuse me sir for the situation that happened last night....

Isles: there is hive protal over there to the west side!

Limix: it was a Precursor to the witness species but it didn't merge with it and there's another out there too.

Eris morn then looks at zavala

Zliverite looks at ghoztt still in shock about the whole dreadnought thing.

Zavala then holds his hand ✋️ and then says: We are now working with the trube and they have managed to deactice the hive portal by covering it with boulders.

Eris morn: who is still missing from the camp.

One elskini: um I think we're all accounted for.

The transmission activates again: warning the house of kings are closing into the moon. And then it ends.

Everyone:

Zavala: well at least we actually know what had happened here today and also last night mostly.

Isles faints

Zliverite: Oh no I got you!

Limix puts a mat under her quick while eris morn runs to her.

Kaboom an explosion can be heard in the distance and now the elsikni ketch is flying around ewrths atmosphere on fire.

Zavala: what the?

Then few of the very high space birds fly into that ship.

Then it flies back into space.

Eris morn: it seems that the trube are taking out that ketch.

Zavala: good. that's less to worry about.

Isles then mutters: thralls, kights, in this forest, in this beautiful castle with fountains, and with the floaty islands. Then she falls back asleep.

Vreeland: 07 has saved Isles from the hive

Then things had weepdeey warped.

And Limix wakes up to being on the ship in space.

Limix: what in the what? Was that a dream.

Zliverite: um idk we're stuck.

Isles: yep we've got a new species out there.

07: is it the trube, Grey's, hive?

Limix: .....

The alien ships then begin to spin around and fly around the ship and then let the guardian ship through.

Limix: I think I'm still dreaming.

Zliverite: what in the hell?

Isles: okay that is definitely new

Harp: eurrp

07: yep its definitely the trube.

Everyone else except for shardin: Whaut!?

Then the ship lands and all the guardians get off of it and they all find.

W-11 please don't worry!

Citizens: it's the witness run!

Vreeland: no its just gruah! She's shy and definitely not human!

Limix: definitely like in my dream that I just had while on the ship.

Then comes an Elskini who's running away there's a pryamid ship to the east.

07: starts heading for the tent and then finds the alien scarf and the scene from the last page has happened again but right at the end. Limix had been watching and had his mouth wide open.

Shardin: Oh yeah she keeps all sorts of things in her Lil keep sake pouch....

(I may had kinda gotten carried away and had messed this story up. so i'll kinda start over completely with a different start and then kinda go back to what was written before this so it'll still be cannon in this au. sorry about that. I've got a good new beginning to start this story off and hopefully it works out since I was going way to fast.) so here it goes the true beginning unless I'll have to scrape this and make a whole different one when i'm ready to.)

radio chatter dies... Limix then wakes up from a dream and he was listing to something sorta similar what had happened above while he was asleep but it had sadly ended where he could not re-listen to the recording (we're go back to the exact details to what exactly happened one day hopefully. depends if i continue to write this.)

-the characters Gurah is the same species that the precursor's to the witness actually was. She's very mysterious for now.

isles is the sassay gaurdian that the hive abduct and because of that happing multiple time or something else happens her charater may change later on. while she has a pet munfity whos named Harp. while her ghost name is grolo

07 is kinda mysterious but is kinda like the irl me with many powers and ties that'll be mentioned later on. while shardin is 07's ghost zilverite is my guardain taken from the game while zilverites ghost is nammed ghoztt. w-11 is a older guardian like ikora He helps keep the races organized and helps with the security where he tries to keep an eye out for possible danger that could threaten them. His ghost name is veerland Limix is a void, warlock who can have strange visons his ghosts name is Malrear

Friends to Lovers Tournament: Round 3, Side A, Match 1

(exploding) sorry if this is badly written i am walking rn . Mods know the series but A3 is about stage actors.

TasuTsumu are literally the friends to lovers ever. They're childhood friends, even. They did everything together. They've acted together since elementary school. but then (VINE BOOM) thry both try out for a prestigious acting troupe called GODza... but only Tasuku makes it in (sad horn sounds) Tsumugi lost a ton of confidence after not making it and kinda ghosted Tasuku and ran away from his problems </3 he originally had given up, but missed the stage so he tried out again at the Mankai Company (troupe all of the characters are in). Of course, as fate has it, Tasuku had just left GODza after their... unsavory business tactics, but the troupe had blacklisted him from becoming an actor at any other high end troupes in the area, leaving him to go to the Mankai Company. And of course times 2, he and Tsumugi try out for the same troupe. Tasuku is less than pleased with seeing Tsumugi's face after he just disappeared before, and things between them are tense, especially when Tasuku gets fed up with Tsumugi's lack of confidence after he becomes the troupe's leader. But!! Fate wants them to get along (and be together) and Tsumugi finds this cursed doll that traps them in a time loop of the same day. They're stuck until they resolve their issues. Nothing like a good ol divine intervention to get two friends to lovers back together. tldr Tsumugi owns up to his insecurities to Tasuku and works to overcome it. In the process, while performing their play in an act off (if they end up in the competition ill actually essay about it) Tsumugi feels that his acting is inferior once again and totally bombs a show. Tasuku finally works around his own regrets of not reaching out before when Tsumugi had "quit," telling him how much he loves and envies Tsumugi's acting, and apologizes to Tsumugi. Then boom they pull off an incredibly gay play about angels and become lovers (not canon but Trust me).

absolute best friends in childhood who had a very impactful falling out, but managed to resolve things. nowadays they're in a theatre troupe together where their troupe is quite literally married.

Submission 3:

1. CHILDHOOD FRIENDS

2. Their introductory arc was literally a whole divorce-reunion arc. They divorced because Tsumugi failed an audition into the God Squad theatre troupe while Tasuku got in which was a blow to Tsumugi's confidence as an actor and he ran away and Tasuku was mad at him for that. It was literally so bad that the game had to break its slice-of-life genre to introduce a doll that traps people in a timeloop until they're able to make up, and they (and another guy who's kinda a cryptid) are the only ones aware that the day keeps repeating

3. After one of their shows, Tsumugi overhears some audience members criticising him and comparing him to Tasuku, which leads to him changing his acting style in the next show which completes bombs their show. Out of shame, Tsumugi runs away, and it takes Tasuku some hesitating before chasing after him and finally telling him how he REALLY feels -- that he was guilty for not being able to do anything to help Tsumugi when he failed that audition years ago and ran away, and that he admires Tsumugi's acting for what it is. The anime makes this scene even gayer by having them meet on a bridge in the snow and Tasuku holding an umbrella over Tsumugi's head as he pours his heart out to Tsumugi

4. Tsumugi regains his confidence after hearing that, and they finally FINALLY 100% reconcile

Makoharu:

They are the first ship that comes to mind when I think of friends to lovers. I know Free! hasn't been popular since 2013, bug I just love them so much... Makoto's devotion to Haru. There's even a movie that flashes back to when they're kids when Makoto says "I love swimming and I love Haruka". Soft...

watched ep 3 and need to share my thoughts because oh my god

The implication that Nori acted like Uzi as well is... fascinating. I want to see what's in that closet. How much did she know? Was she directly involved?

Khan. my dude. seriously. I mean, I can see where he's coming from (especially considering what happened with Nori), and he definitely gets points for trying, but still. Missed the mark entirely.

All those little N and Uzi moments :D! Whether you ship it or not, you gotta agree it's kinda cute. Lovely seeing that they still care about each other. Wish they actually got to talk about what happened though.

Kinda bummed we didn't get to see more of Thad. It was 'his' shindig, or at least he said it was. Did he organize it or something? Did he suggest the idea and is now taking credit for it?

Doll really took center stage in this episode! I love it, i think she's one of my favorites now. Her powers are wicked cool, and her relationship with the main cast has SO much potential.

Lizzy! I was not expecting her to be in on the plot to kill V, and now I'm wondering just how much she knows. I mean, she seemed very unfazed by Doll's house. And yeah, I like her a lot more now as well.

Speaking of Doll's house... yikes. a tarp isn't going to fix that, honey. I am once again fascinated by the effects that the solver has on it's host, and what the end goal is. And what is the deal with those bugs? Did Doll make them? Are they connected to the solver in some way? They didn't respond to Uzi, but then again, Uzi clearly isn't as experienced as Doll.

The disappearances. When exactly did they start? How long has Doll been doing this? Thad spoke about them like they were recent. Did people not notice until later? Although this does answer the question of 'how did Eldritch J stay hidden for as long as she did.' Her murders and Doll's murders probably got lumped together.

I am EVEN MORE fascinated by V now. All those little genuine moments, trying to protect N? She absolutely remembers something. What could she be trying to protect N from, though?

TESSA???? J???? ALIVE??? WHAT????

Ok so, my main theory so far is that J was communicating directly to Tessa, who is either taking matters into her own hands or looking for something in particular. She said "maintenence", which, in my mind at least, doesn't really imply murder? I feel as if JCJenson wanted to get rid of the worker drones themselves they would've sent a LOT more than just Tessa.
