More roleplay shenanigans. Same friend has Ultra Magnus and he and Seaspray were friends from the get go. I assigned them Under Pressure from Queen and David bowie for their interaction with Skywarp.

Also I have dinobot in this au so of course I had to draw a dirk dinobot reference with his design.. he's so fucking ugly and hard to draw I love him so much.

I feel like Starscream really understood Red Alert. Sure, he was manipulative and played on Red's paranoia but that scene where they sit in the garage and have that talk....as someone who has anxiety like Red Alert and has been through abuse like Starscream....I kinda get both of their sides? I agree they could have made an interesting pair. Imagine if they became close friends like Starscream and Skyfire once were!

Thinking about the G1 episode Auto Berserk. You know, the one where Red Alert hits his head and then has a paranoid episode with Starscream around. Like yeah, Starscream was manipulating him during it, but also I think he was genuinely the least manipulative he can be compared to literally anyone else he manipulates in G1 (most everyone). He talks softly and agrees with him, sure he feeds his delusions a little, but I think he genuinely understands Red in that episode. Starscream HAS gone through every single bad thing that Red Alert is scared of. They were working really well together, and Starscream only stopped because Megatron showed up and was literally going to kill him. Even then, he seemed like he was still trying to have Red Alert help him. I think they could've been friends, I think they're a good team. I don't know, something about the "Starscream is my partner!" always makes me kick my legs a little and think about it. They were a good duo, it's a shame it's impossible for them to keep that up outside of Auto Berserk.
