Pese que seguramente Azula admiré los dragones, tener la apriencia de uno es muy diferente cuando antes fue una humana que probablemente se jactaba de su belleza. Quería adaptar el cuento en el mundo de la serie, con su cultura occidental y si es posible retratar la personalidad de los personajes.

I feel like when Ozai is young he doesn't know how to socialize so it goes like this. His idea of expressing himself is through violence most of the time. Even crushes are not exempt.

Iroh: Ozai, why did you pull on Michi's hair?

Young Ozai: Because I wanted her to pay attention to me.

Iroh: Ozai, this is not how you tell a girl you like her...

Again, I agree. Ozai doesn't know how to socialize because no one ever taught him. The only kind person he really grew up with was Iroh and Iroh is a good decade older than him. Even with crushes, he hurts them because in his mind he's thinking that's how he gets their attention because that's what his father does. He burns people and that gets them to pay attention.

I guess what this all boils down to is: Azulon is a horrible father.
