Danny has recently joined the young justice team after they discovered amity and how they were under media black out and a group of people were pretending to be government agents were attacking using a law that was never actually passed as an excuse for it

Anyway whilst meeting the justice league he notices how one of the members has a ring on and trying to make small talk starts talk about it and how he has his own ring trinkets just like it

He doesn't get why everyone got so silent after he mentioned how he collects the different colours as a hobby they're practically a dime a donzen in the realms

Not to mention all rhe times clockwork has sent him to some different planet in the past and rings have quite literally floated to him before dropping after getting too close

Or

Sometimes when rings are off looking for someone to weild them they will sense a great emotion and accidentally fly through a natural portal and then being suddenly just absolutely covered in emotions they end up shorting out and just floating through the realms

And danny has found so many of they he just considers them trinkets or clockwork has sent danny to a different time period on difficult planets and a ring has sensed the great emotion and tried to choose him but then it's covered in emotions and blacks out and Danny's just swiped it not think much

To be clear due to the fact of the infinite realms being infinite sometimes a portal will open near enough to a lantern ring for it to head to wards it thinking it's just someone with great levels of insert required emotion

Like if a portal opened near fright knight and a yellow lantern ring happened to he close by it would go on that guy just radiates fear i want him

But after entering the portal it's no longer in any dimension and it's swamped in emotions of all kinds simply due to the nature of the realms

headcanon that throughout the 800 years, xie lian would just talk to ruoye. like all the time. villagers would think he was insane sometimes cause it just looked like he was talking to himself. when they were alone ruoye would talk back, doing some weird version of sign language that only xie lian understands. then after his 3rd ascension, he starts talking to ruoye when hes on some mission, and feng xin and mu qing are like "who are you talking to" and he just lifts up his arm and ruoye pops out a little and xie lian is like "him ! :)" and then ruoye starts talking back and fengqing is just making confused sounds in the corner cause this ribbon is just floating around and making shapes and xie lian is like "oh youre right we should do that !!"

A little tired of people saying Moon can’t stand up for herself. Like yeah I think one of the flaws she has is she is too lenient and forgiving, but also in her situation it’s VERY HARD not to be. And it’s very situational, usually manifesting with Five Pebbles.

She stops talking to you if you annoy her enough, and only starts again if you win her back over. You have to put in the work. She isn’t “rolling over” and letting things happen to her, despite the fact that she is in absolutely no position to bargain. As stated by her, her kindness and her words are the ONLY thing she has. So her taking those away from you, the player, is absolutely her standing up for herself.

Everyone brings up how she handles Five Pebbles (esp the comms thing) and it is incredible to me just how many people lay this entirely at her feet when the game states over and over again that even despite Moon’s intentional feather-light influence over him, he still resents her for being his superior. He seeks out a mentor who is her opposite.

He wants to be something more than what he is, wants to be detached from her, and she can’t do anything about that but do the best she can to exert as little influence over him as possible.

She is stuck between a rock and a hard place here, and was betting on her kindness to have fostered enough mutual respect that she wouldn’t have to resort to forced communications. She was wrong. He was driven by fierce desperation, something that she wasn’t privy to. And she paid for it.

Yes, this is a flaw of hers. But it’s not a universal one. (the rest of the iterators look to her for help- she’s the group senior for gods sake- and people act like she can’t take a stand) I genuinely doubt Moon would’ve waited so long to used forced comms if it were happening to anyone else. If it were being committed by anyone else. And that just makes the tragedy even sweeter.

i love the bit from oct 17 2020 when tommy and quackity trapped wilbur in a cobblestone box to keep him from pressing the button... wilbur punching through the blocks with his bare hand to try to get to the button... tommy frantically replacing the block in front of him yelling for quackity to do something... the moment when tommy stops, blocks the exit, and tells wilbur to do it. press the button. but then theyd die with him. quackitys like "wait, wait-" but tommy holds his ground and wilbur. ohh wilbur. "why'd you have to make it so hard?"

edit: might need to add some additional dialogue to this to make it more clear, but a clarification in the interim; he knows about his own footprints. he's just surprised to see something similar already there when he knows he's only just landed. he lifts his own shoe to confirm that they're not identical (and also to reveal this to the viewer). seems his stoicism beat off the clarity in this one, sorry 😭

saiki k au where he gets tired of people stealing his power dampeners so he just starts claiming its medical equipment. for like a nerve disease or smt. like oh why did he collapse on sports day when his little head thing was removed then get better when its put back? and why did he spend the rest of the day all shakey and off his game? cause you removed the piece of Vital Medical Equipment that's supposed to stay poked in his head at all times to deliver little electrical shocks or something to his brain so the signals in his head for being able to move his limbs work. so it screwed him up for a bit cause supposed nerve disease. and that's why he almost had to go home sick that day yknow. and why does he sleep with them on? well do people sleep with their pacemakers on? and it being pointy is cause it needs to stab into the head so it can send those signals directly to the brain. I like to think he starts claiming this after the class trip where teruhashi steals one cause once is chance (and nendo being dumb) but twice with two seperate people? thats cause for paranoia. so he just uses his powers to forge medical records and make doctors remember diagnosing him incase there's questions. saiki justified this because they are technically life saving equipment. just not HIS life nessasarily.

when he makes this paper work for proof the gym teacher decides to give a lecture to the students about proper care regarding fragile medical equipment and how this could be life and death for their classmate, and gives saiki less of a hard time in gym classes for medical reasons

then nendo gets all upset about hurting his best bro on accident and clings even harder while trying to give saiki things to cover them up with so they don't come loose at all, like hats and helmets which saiki refuses on principle.

teruhashi says something generically Perfect Pretty Girlish about it on the outside but on the inside shes freaking out because if she hurt saiki to satisfy her own curiosity then there's no way shes PERFECT but no one KNOWS she did that since they were alone at the time so reputation is fine and saiki didn't SEEM hurt but he was asleep so who knows!!! but she freaks out over it for a long, long while before deciding she'll make it up to him by spending more time with him because why WOULDNT he love that but its mostly to satisfy her own conscience and ego. she probably has a fantasy where he's all blushy and shy and saying "oh wow" a million times while she takes care of him so selflessly when his illness acts up, yknow the classic Blushy Shy Fantasy Saiki but she gets to feed her superiority/savior complexes even MORE, then it goes nothing like that in reality.

kaido thinks that saiki is at risk so of course The Jet Black Wings must protect him from any attempts from the Dark Reunion to harm him by stealing his lil head thingys in an attempt to get to The Jet Black Wings through harming his closest ally. there must have been attempts before after all to justify a whole speech being given regarding it, and has a subplot where he's assuming nendo is part of the dark reunion cause of the sports day accident.

hairo says something about how saiki wasn't even going at full swing during sports day and how saiki has to push himself much harder then the rest of the class to do the same or even better then them (citing how he apsolutely destroyed the running events despite supposedly having an disease that directly affects his ability to run). then he calls him a inspiration on never giving up and working hard everyday. then rallys the class to work just as hard as saiki so all of them can do even better like saiki obviously strives to do.

SAIKI has realized his plan went so, SO wrong because now his popularity is way too high right now but he has to live with the consequences of his actions so he just spends his time trying to get people to like him less for most of the initial kickoff after the speech and the subsequent attention that came after. probably blows off teruhashi under the excuse of medical reasons (says something like "why would you help? no offense but you're not a doctor" when she offers to help, insert the fantasy sequence she had in her section around here), and that gets his popularity back down to normal. and it goes back to normal cause people are used to it now, just avoid touching his head, easy

but yeah that's my pitch for a chapter basically. (are all the separated plots in an episode called chapters? that's the closest word I can think for them)

I'm not completely opposed to making Pharma a weird guy in general pre-Messatine, the main issue I have with it is that a lot of that type of fandom is less "what if he was just a weird little guy" and more seems to be written with the implication that Pharma went crazy because he was just always a little crazy (or a little evil, or a little heartless, etc). Basically, to me it downplays the fact that Pharma underwent massive trauma for two years straight that other characters barely survived for a few hours/days and instead frames Pharma snapping as some sort of... I don't know, genetic/fated downfall because he was just weird, he was always off, is it really any wonder Pharma ended up Like That because I mean there was always something a little weird about him.

It just seems to accidentally imply that Pharma snapping under the pressure of years of torture was some sort of moral failing or sign of him being weak/immoral. You know, Pharma was always kind of a little creepy/insane/evil deep down which is obviously why he killed people. If he were just a normal, not-weird, good person then he would've been mentally strong enough to Not Go Insane. Like uhhhh it just seems kind of fucked up to imply that the reason some people are unable to cope with long-term trauma and have violent/unhealthy coping behaviors is because there's just something innately wrong with them, and then try and look back on their whole life trying to contextualize how they were actually unstable and evil all along instead of just accepting that like. Normal people (tm), yes normal and good people, can be put in situations where they're slowly turned into broken monsters because they had no escape and no good choices.

And also it's equally fucked up to imply that like. Whether or not you can deal with psychological torture without snapping is some sort of function of how innately moral or mentally strong you are. Incredibly victim-blamey to basically go "well the reason Pharma went insane is because he was just always cracked in the head, unlike our good buddy-pal-friend-hero Ratchet who's the perfect doctor and a good Autobot who's never done anything wrong which is why when he's an asshole/hurts people he's not nearly as destructive or Weird About It."

It's not that "Pharma was always kind of crazy" can't be done, because anything can be written well with enough thought. But I think in terms of writing, it's a very difficult and nuanced line to balance and most people literally just can't do it without implying that trauma victims/mentally ill people are evil or something. And Pharma is already unfairly villainized enough as-is, and in canon his trauma was already downplayed in favor of "haha crazy doctor chainsaw go brrr look how weird and quirky and craaaazyyy he is." So it's one of those things where 1. Most people just aren't good enough to write it and 2. "Always a little crazy" Pharma is already oversaturated enough in the fandom anyways and it's enough of a battle to get people to recognize that he's a tragic character and not just an evil asshole.
