Anyway, while still on the topic of Ritsu and maturity, I found it interesting that people tend to assume he's the older one when first watching the show

Ultimately, it does make sense because he's seemingly more responsible and reliable but that comes as a result of him walking on eggshells when it comes to Mob

Ritsu is actively trying to avoid stressing Mob out or bothering him in any way because he lives in fear of him getting overwhelmed and blowing up again

So, he takes away his responsability of being an older brother, he doesnt create any trouble or directly express any struggles lest Mob gets concerned

But that accomplishes nothing besides making them drift apart even more. Ritsu is constantly trying to manage Mob while Mob has gotten so used to Ritsu never struggling that he doesnt question his Perfect Brother act

They've both resigned to pretending The Incident didn't happen and when Mob does, eventually, bring it up, its too late. Ritsu pretends he did nothing but protect him to shield Mob from guilt, but Mob is already so deeply buried under self loathing that he refuses to properly process any of his emotions in fear that it'll result in hurting people

It's a fruitless task for both of them, they're not doing anything besides causing harm to themselves

One of the things that I love about their relationship is how messy it can be but like... ultimately they care about eachother

For a while its not certain whether Ritsu actually wants to help/protect Mob or if he's just doing it out of fear, to protect himself

Later on the answer becomes obvious, but even during their confrontation in the alleyway, Ritsu tries to claim he had no emotional investment in their relationship, that it was just an act

He's lying, most likely to purposefully hurt Mob, to convince himself that he won't let Mob influence him anymore, to live in fear of what he could do

A part of Big Cleanup is just Ritsu having an identity crisis, he's been defined by Mob's presence for so long, the admiration he once had for him mixing with fear

His desire to get powers is a reflection of that, at first he just wants them so he can reach his "standard", because his brother has them and Ritsu wants to be like him

But it eventually turns into something else, psychic powers aren't just a magic trick anymore, they're something dangerous, something that has hurt him

He wants psychic powers so he can defend himself, so he can have the courage to actually be honest with his brother

When he does gain them, when he finally faces Mob, he's finally achieved a sense of independence. He wants to cut Mob off so he can't be defined by him anymore

But, ultimately, that is not something he can do

Mob, who until now wasn't aware of Ritsu’s issues, who is still shocked by his real feelings, accepts them as they are

At the end of the day, they're still brothers, whether Ritsu likes it or not

Mob is quick to understand that Ritsu isn't fully honest, but that it isn't all a lie either. He takes responsibility for Ritsu's mistakes, asks for forgiveness from the people his brother has hurt, even if he had no part to play in any of it

Mob regains his position as an older brother. He listens to Ritsu, acknowledges the issue, then tries to set an example and asks for forgiveness on his behalf

UNFORTUNATELY this interaction stops here because some asshole decided to waltz in and ruin my catharsis

Still, I believe that after this is over, Ritsu remembers why he wanted to follow in his brother's footsteps in the first place (see: his conversation with Kamuro at the end of S1 and with Shimazaki)

Confession Arc is really the only time Ritsu is honest, both with himself and with Mob

There's no more hurdles to get through, he's got the powers he wanted, he can finally stand up against Mob

When Mob does actually lose control, he tries to stop him, he doesn't cower in fear anymore

Because he acknowledges that the person who hurt him isn't a dangerous, unexplainable entity. ???% is his brother just as much as the Mob who called him out during their confrontation but proceeded to stay by his side

People have put this into words better than I can but,,, yeah,,, I love this relationship so so much

Ok so here is just a quick overview of the two "stories" and what characters are involved in These. Especially the Main group one might get more characters as time goes on (you know... when i make more dnd characters that i dont get to play so i add them to my adventure group). While both "stories" play in the same World, they rarely overlap. However at some point the characters might meet each other, we'll see. Since These are esentially DnD characters, the World is based on DnD (5e btw). You will Most likely see that in the mention of races and classes. Hoewever magic and other similar abilites i sometimes wrote a bit different or i gave a character abilities that they normally wouldnt have in the game. But thats because i feel like it would make sense or i want them to have it. After all its only BASED on dnd.

The names of These "stories" might still be workshopped. Idk.

I will just give a veeery short description of the characters. A proper one including some backstory stuff will be in separate posts

The Main group ("A Band of misfits")

Rúnya Calanoré (A light Domain cleric aasimar with "Angel of light" vibes. The only responsible person in the group, trying to keep These chaotic idiots in check. I guess something like the "Camp mom")

Cylieria Esper (High elf rogue. More a con-woman than a thief. Way to overly confident in her ability to talk herself Out of Situations. The youngest one of the group in relativity. Not years because... elves)

Elari Ariessus (High elf monk. On a journey to self acceptance. Go-lucky sunshine character who tries to See the best in every situation)

Mal Trickarii (A human bard. He mainly uses Illusion magic. He chose so because of his passion to play pranks and Tricks on everybody. Hence the last Name. He gave himself that)

Kallista (nope no last name here. Tiefling rogue. Your very basic edgy loner rogue. Would prefer to work alone but somehow got roped into this and is 100% done with everybodys high energy bullshit)

Philana Ventura (High Elf fighter with a bit of a contrast in behavious. Normally she is very shy, timid and obiedient. But when a fight Starts she gets a huge boost of confidence)

These are the main 6 for now. Since they will go on high fantasy adventures you can expect the "normal" content warning for stuff like this to apply to some of their stories (i will ofc tag what is necessary) like description of violence and injury, some fluff, some smut maybe, Angst. Tho because of him being a changeling He does have other Personas that might have a POV written occasionally. But Most of These will be either from his true self or his Blackwood persona

He is a changeling warlock in the pursuit of Power, who doesnt care if others get hurt along the way and manipulates the people around him to get what He wants. In puplic He is incredibly charming. Tho something sinister rests under the surface. Press the wrong Buttons and you will See, that He has some psychopathic tendencies. I feel the need to point Out that He IS NOT a good person or a hero. He isnt even morally grey. He is a WALKING RED FLAG and I believe that some bad guys are allowed to be just bad without being misunderstood and just do bad things.

So please BE CAUTIOUS when reading any of his stories. I will of course tag especially the extreme things but i might miss some of the more subtle things (i try Not to) such as emotional Manipulation, gaslighting or similar. If even These things are an issue for you, then please stay clear of his stories.

Some stories might however even contain some more serious triggers such as murder, description of the act and result of torture, mental and physical abuse and the like.

Some of his stories will have the "Dead Dove. Do Not eat" tag.

this is more an old school au trope but for a fusion with the sentinel (aka theres people with enhanced senses, plus their semi-empath guides who ground them when stimuli overwhelm the sentinel), here are my Thoughts:

nate is a fuck awful guide, while sophie is mundane but boy can she fake enhanced taste and touch. hardison goes online (aka gets his powers) in the grave: hearing, maybe smell. parker went online young: sight, hearing, taste, with distinct impairment to touch but she has enhanced a sixth sense of, like, spatial awareness. eliot, everyone thinks MUST be a five point guy since hes HIM or at least hes got enhanced smell and hearing like a lot of "retrival specialists" but no. eliot is the bestest guide. to ground a zoning sentinel, he can sing for sound, and he can cook for taste and smell, and he can do fancy knife tricks for sight, and let's just say he knows how to touch a person. and he can pick parker up and toss her or spin her around when she needs her spatial awareness restarted.

early s4 alec had asked eliot to train him to be an unofficial guide for parker, so even if he doesnt have the calming powers he can still try to offer some guidance for her. then as said, he goes online himself and he hovers between being a newbie and still wanting some guide moves just in case.

i love a good soulbond which sentinel au allows for SO eliot feels something for parker but the bond only clicks once hardison is a sentinel too and eliot sees them together and is like well fuck. alec doesn't know any different and parker never had someone take care of her like this (archie was mundane) so she doesn't recognize what their connection means. eliot, meanwhile, is like... damn wild that this literally changes nothing.

things come to a head when post s5 eliot makes a martyr play and gets severely hurt. hardison and parker are physically fine. physically. emotionally? well.

they sit down with eliot and are like. eliot, you can no longer go into things thinking it'll be okay if you die first. hardison had to ground himself on the slowing down of your heartbeat and parker grounded herself on the red of your blood. eliot, please, don't just look out for us, dont you get that taking care of you is taking care of us?

The general who became a father to his soldier (spoilers for rwby v8 ch13)

Personal impressions:

I was so mad last week, thinking IW would have been defeated already/too soon but they tricked us. And I'm so glad it's a Winter vs. Ironwood fight. And the emotions.... I can't.

He was her father figure and I'm sure it was viewed like that from both sides. We were clearly shown what IW would do if anyone was in his way. Even when she disobeyed he didn't shoot her. He trusted her until the last moment.... We saw him get mad, break down and hopeless. But never cry. It's not just any soldier he's fighting. He's fighting his right hand. Winter Schnee, someone who was like a daughter to him.

But let's get to their actual relationship.

An essay on Winter in RWBY is planned btw.

Winter seems to have the highest rank in the military next to Ironwood, which is impressive for her age and shows her determination but also how IW believes in her

In V4 Jacques claimed that IW "stole his daughter" and IW hinted at that they often had this conversation

In V7 Jacques asked IW if Winter knew that Weiss returned to Atlas

From the point of V2 and V3 it seems that Winter still had contact to Jacques but not as much anymore in V7, something happened and I think because of the dust embargo IW and Jacques had their confrontation and Winter obviously chose IW's side and detached from her father completely

(It was always hinted (and I think even stated in the remnant guide book) that Winter protected her siblings and had to take the most abuse. And you can clearly see that by her type of fight or flight trauma and how she's literally supposed to represent the ice queen with her hidden emotions and stuff

You see her in that state of shock, fear, panic, trauma etc. when she realizes that she failed Ironwood. He was proud of her for catching Yang, Ren and Jaune and put his hand on her since they would be useful. Harriet then told him and I think this represents how someone like IW would be able to hurt her that much emotionally since he is in the position of an authority and a father figure to her)

Also he was ready to shoot his people at any time like the council man or Marrow but he didn't shoot her and allowed her to stay by her side

That and how she defends IW most of the time show how she trusts her judgment, IW trusts her judgement as well as seen in V4 when he told Jacques that Winter told him that there was a threat in Mistral

In World of Remnant we see IW walking past soldiers and Winter standing out. It was about the technical grooming of atlas students to join the military but you can tell from what we know of Ironwood, that he has a good heart (eruption fang made a vid on that recently)

When Winter told Weiss that "the general would have a place for you" She said it with such happiness, atlas and the military was winter's new home and IW gave her the chance to repurpose her life

She even defended IW in front of Jacques, her biological father and she takes great personal offense when his judgement is mistreated. Even when Weiss talked about trust Winter said that he would never hide anything from her

The offer with the Winter Maiden... You could say that he did this to control her and I'd accept your opinion... But there's one thing that makes me think that he still obviously also cared for her. Over the years he knew how much the military meant to her. She even told Penny that her life doesnt matter and only her job does. It means everything to her and like Winter said herself, she saw the Maiden powers as a privilege and it makes me feel like Ironwood saw them as something that would make her unique and give her once again a purpose that is unique to her and not just her being one of many soldiers

He even apologized, knowing it wouldn't be easy for her (since he expected Winter and not Ozcar) and when he had his talk with RWBY he called Winter her/Weiss' sister instead of just her name and idk but that just made this even more special

In Volume 8 it is once again shown how Winter is basically the one who also trusted Ironwood until the end. And in ch 12 she didnt judge him... She expressed her worries for his behavior. She couldn't believe the man who made her feel like she was everything would ever become so cruel

They way their worry for each other looks so similar

And while I know that they have a theme for the Atlas military , I think it's obvious how Winter looked even more like IW in all her outfits compared to the rest of the military

Many people think Ironwood is dumb for over trusting Winter but I think it shows his flaw as a general. He let's his emotions get in the way since he cares about her and continues to trust her even though she disobeyed orders

His last words were "As my last order: step aside", he could've just shot her again as she layed defenseless on the ground but he didn't

Remember how in the first episode he said "Thank you Winter, I don't know what I would do without you"

Right before, she said that she'll be fine without him asking anything. It sounds a little more personal in my opinion. Why would you tell your boss that you'll be fine without him asking about your status? the conversation was literally about Qrow and Robyn before but he looked worried and wanted the room for themselves and she immediately said that.

Some people also talk about how they emphasized with Ironwood in volume 7 since wasn't shown to have family or a partner yet would do anything for Atlas. But again, he did care about Winter a lot and wanted her to be save.

Something I also noticed when writing this is that in volume 3 Ironwood called her Schnee yet in V7 he calls the Ace Ops and her via first name basis. Clover said that he trusts Ironwood with this life and I think that's how Winter and the Ace ops felt about him, the person who gave them hope. Especially Winter.

And now we're here. Seeing the man cry a tear. We know now, if Winter wins, she has to kill him. Imprisoning him wasn't enough. And I think that will be her final moment of her being a "Ice Queen", when she has to kill him, she will probably turn to her emotional side and grieve.

As mentioned, the military, her position, her rank and Ironwood meant everything to her. She talked so enthusiastically when she had her conversation with Weiss about moving in together without their father and how IW has a place for her younger sister. And now along with Ironwood, both are in a situation they never thought they'd be in.

That was it from me. In short form , I just wanted to share some ideas and things I've noticed about their relationship and dynamic. None of this is meant as a romantic way and you can of course disagree but please stay respectful. Thank you and we'll see each other next chapter<3

but counter question how do we know evil benny IS at the same level of control and capability as lucifractor benny? bc his magical development in s2 is far more fleshed out and his knowledge is only limited to his development in double negative. meaning he doesnt actually have as much experience as s2 benny

also what would evil benny be withOUT ethan? if hes not in the picture and it was a strict 1v1 would the tables turn?

also how can we assume lucifractor benny isnt more powerful? given that he could quite possibly be given a magical boost by stern himself by way of power transfer

plus the newfound control that he has in s2 to not misread/misinterpret a spell. control is one thing that evil benny doesn't have but lucifractor benny does, but that might also mean that control makes him a better fighter by way of accuracy and precision. afterall, what use is a spell if it hits the wrong target (which could potentially be the magic user themself meaning evil benny could knock himself out in the process of casting a spell)

lucifractor benny also he has the drive to actually commit and even follow through with a plan (he doesnt have much screen time but makes up for it by action) regardless of if the plan is his own or stern's

whereas evil benny seems aimless in that he only cares about ethan and becoming cooler. and when fighting normal benny he makes threats but normal benny clocks that he's no better at magic than normal him.

and lucifractor benny on the otherhand is shown to be fully capable of handling a task to completion (ie the portal he creates and the fireball)

whilst evil benny immediately resorts to physical violence instead of using the spells in his repertoire which makes me think that he actually doesnt have as much control over them than he claims he does. he just knows they exist and isnt afraid to use them.

if he does physical violence first in a fight with lucifractor benny, he might just lost any chance of winning seeing as normal benny was able to fight him off. and who's to say that lucifractor would even care enough to get in range for physical violence, he might be smart about it and avoid the whole engagement altogether seing as he's more strategic that way.

also question how do we know evil benny is going to settle for normal ethan? he very clearly did not like normie ethan and even tricked him into taking a photo against his will. who's to say evil benny wont just spend the time trying to turn ethan and/or kill him to make a new evil version of him. and would this version be s1 ethan or s2 ethan?

tbh i dont think evil benny needs to be good at magic persay to win. hes just chaotic and unpredictable and lucifractor benny would struggle to predict what is coming next from him, seeing as he wouldnt care about a counter to any offensive spells and would rather go berserk with as many spells as possible. i def think the turning inside out spell is just the tip of the iceberg for evil spells.

i feel like evil benny def has the capability to raise an undead army of animals (that kinda doesnt really listen to his orders) or something crazy random whereas lucifractor benny would set the world ablaze or something like making him go to sleep, something quick and strong... but the kicker is that evil benny doesnt have as much control as lucifractor benny and would focus on quantity over quality but lucifractor is level headed and would probably try to snipe evil benny out first go with a strat.

problem is that evil benny would be creative by linking unseemly spells together, maybe even make up a few ones himself by experimenting and that would be terrifying for lucifractor benny to understand because he (presumably) is making plans based on prior attempts that keep failing due to chaos and coincidence. it would be like... janet trying to understand jason from the good place. its cute in that show cuz theyre diff ppl but here they're the same alternate versions of each other so....... they may kill each other cuz 2 cant exist at the same time

but then i wonder cuz evil benny didnt really have a plan vs lucifractor benny who def had one laid out by the vp and was only foiled by normal benny but then again evil benny was more chaotic and unpredictable so...

that would actually be crazy to see like an evil mastermind vs unbridled chaos

One he did tell her hes psychic and she told him he should keep hiding it. And everytime it was brought up (with raz) she probably insulted psychics, building onto their tale of how bad they are. She should know thats not true because her husband is right there. Proving psychics arent bad. Theres no way he has been suppressing his abilities fully because he managed to enter Razs mind at the end of the first game. Sure he could have used a door from milla or coach but inside Razs mind he gave Raz his psychic power or whatever. He knows even shot a blast at his image which is an the first ability Raz gets from Sasha. The psi-blast. So his father isnt just not using hos abilities or whatever. He is a somewhat skilled psychic so his wife should be able see how psychics work. Unless he felt the need to hide his skill from her. Which is a red flag on its own.

Second thing is that she didnt know he was psychic. He hid it from her so she didnt know sje was belittling her husband (even if she knew she was her son) she isnt blameless here either. What kind of wife would she have to be for him to feel the need to hide a big part of himself like that. Like i feel like she should have known before they even got married. Imagine the worry and stress over hiding something like this. Wheres the trust. How bad does it have to be for him to not trust her. To fear that she would hate him if he told her he was psychic. Like he had to be worried in the early days she would leave him. What a horrible way to live. Sure this isnt just on her. He hid it so how could he know how she would react. Never mind the fact they are married and have kids so they have spent years and years together. Big oof

Besides all that she still brushed him aside in the game when he talking about wanting to being his psychic abilities into their new trick. She is in full control over the family i think. I dont think they have an equal partnership here. If she doesnt like it she gets ride of it. His model train. Razs comics. Psychic abilities. Honestly Raz is a ten year old. A ten year old that ran away from home because his family, his own mother, not only didnt accept who he was, but constantly belittled him and abused him. And what do they do when he gets back, not willingly i might add they just showed up he didnt go back home. They dont change. His father does. His siblings get a pass because they themselves are children. But what of his mother. What was her reaction to getting her TEN YEAR OLD son back. To continue to belittle him and to guilt trip him.

Fire red Final team

November 12th

So before I take on the Elite 4 here is my full team! In the end I decided grinding was a pain and so I have fallen for the rare candy tricks. (Pokemon Challenges on Youtube does the same so I'm only following his lead. I will only use it when totally necessary.)

First up: Surge the Zapdos

Calm Nature - Moves: Thunderwave, thunderbolt, Steel wing, Drill peck

Caught at level 50 in the powerplant. Going to be useful vs Lorelei and any gyarados I encounter. Help items are likely to just be berries or leftovers here. Trying to decide among the team whether to give Thunder to him and use some rain dance strategies between him and Lapras. Zapdos is not EV trained in the slightest and being new to the team has had very few battles. I think its fair considering he is a legendary.

Next up: Silk the Persian

Rash Nature - Moveset: Fake out, Water pulse, Bite, Return

Caught at level 18 on route 8. By no means the strongest in the team but will be useful for chip damage, Switch ins and may be my best bet gainst Agatha in some cases.

Third: Tigger the Arcanine

Adamant Nature - Moves: Extremespeed, Flamethrower, Strength, Dig

Caught at level 20 on Route 7. Arcanine and Persian have been with me for the entire second half of the game. Still, I feel Arcanine has yet to pull his weight. Its a shame he doesnt learn crunch by level up. He is my best bet vs Jynx and will be my back up for exeggcutor in the blue fight. He will certainly get his licks in.

Brock the Golem!

Brave nature - Moves: Earthquake, Rock slide, Brick break, Strength

My oldest Pokemon still around in this game. Caught in Mt. Moon at Level 9! He's been reliable from start to finish. Excited to finish with him by my side.

Amarillo the Alakazam

Adamant Nature - Moves: Psychic, Calm mind, Shock wave, recover

Obtained from Celadon Game corner at level 9! Has been so useful in so many battles, Being essential to Koga and Erika. Speedy and powerful But SOOOO frail. I am scared that one wrong move and Alakazam will go down.

Last but not least: Cerulean the Lapras

Sassy Nature - Moves: Surf, Ice beam, Thunderbolt, Perish Song.

Obtained from Silph HQ at level 25. Fully EV trained in HP, Partially trained in Sp. def and Sp. Atk. By far my strongest pokemon here and definitely a carry! He will be used most against Lorelei and Lance then fingers crossed he will be my main for Blue.

Overall a very stong team. With pretty much all pokemon I have never used before. I have definitely used Arcanine in Lets go pikachu when it came out. Lapras I may have even had in my very first run of the OG Pokemon Red! I never managed to beat Blue as a kid. Hopefully I can today. I would have liked, Nidoking and Venusaur in here too but losing them just makes the game much more interesting. This is going to be tough but I am excited to finish the first leg of this challenge.

for most of my rpg ocs i have some art of them but i only have. very unfinalized doodles for valentine bc hes for a college roommates campaign and we havent run our first session yet, just a prep thing but somethings i know for sure!!!

they are, as said in the result but im adding here for context, a tiefling (my first tiefling character!) and she has horns that curve and make an outline of a heart (cause i think its cute) and im planning on adding a heart motif (i love heart shaped things with character design i dont do it enough imo) to really sell the cleric of love thing. bc theyre an orphan and have a lack of connection to pretty much any community he has identity issues and when she gets the smallest crumbs of belonging they cling to it extremely and thus go hard with the heart/love aesthetic

a look inside his brain and thought process would look something like "step 1: can i solve this with the power of love? step 2: i gave it my best shot lets use this trick i learned in the fantasy mafia or whatever and Destroy." they also have a warhammer bc i think its neat and can absolutely destroy you but will rarely default to it bc they want to be close to others very badly and wants to love and be loved but doesnt always know the best way to do things without going to extremes.

“Do you want me to take it from the top?” It seems as though when someone, this time Vision, steers away from the script, things either reset themselves or people become aware to some capacity, although Agnes probably already knows

Speaking of Growing Pains - It had a spin off called “Just the 10 of Us” in which the director for Wandavision, Matt Shakman, was apart of the cast - and seemingly also inspired the theme song for this week

We should definitely keep an eye on Monica and her potential for powers. With Maria last episode revealed to have gone by the name ‘Photon’ (which is a name that Monica uses as one of her aliases in the comics) and could inspire Monica’s name as she develops her powers - those scans didn’t look 100% normal. Monica has also used the Captain Marvel monicker in the comics

Wanda’s energy field and such being referred to as “Hex” short for Hexagon, could be a little nod to the comics where Wanda’s powers are sometimes called Hex powers

She’s never been referred to as the Scarlet Witch on the big screen - and it seems as though she soon may earn that code name

So we now know that Wanda stole Vision’s corpse from S.W.O.R.D, but did she actually re animate him fully? He’s still got the gem in the centre of his forehead, but the last time he had it was in Infinity War where it promptly got ripped out by Thanos - so has Wanda found her own way of reanimating him and he’s alive or is he dead and just a trick of the mind - though from other trailers/previews, Vis is seen trying to and looks successful at leaving Wanda’s barrier

They had a little call back to Captain America: Civil War with the Sokovia Accords, which were targeting the Avengers in general but were created when Wanda lost control of her powers and killed civilians

A little joke towards Vis as playing “Father Knows Best” in their little suburbia - Which was a sitcom that ran for 200 episodes in the 50’s

Sparky ! A little nod to the little green dog from the Walta and King comics run for Vision and unfortunately soon meets the same fate 💔

A little nod to Endgame when we hear from Monica that Wanda definitely could’ve taken down Thanos by herself had Thanos not rained fire - and Jimmy arguing that Captain Marvel could’ve just as easily done it - which leaves Monica with an angry look on her face

Can Vis “save” the residents of Westview? He can still seemingly interact with people’s minds, with or without the mind stone - Norm soon comes out of his trance as Vis snaps him out of it and asks to call his sister and that he has to save them all from “her” - now this “her” could be Wanda...but it could also be Agnes and then Vis shuts him down soon enough again and Norm goes back to his sit com self

Billy and Tommy are fully aware, or at least suspect Wanda’s abilities - after asking her to bring back Sparky from the dead and speaking of Billy and Tommy - could they be semi permanent fixtures in the MCU, it would help to introduce the Young Avengers eventually. They'll do Young Avengers at some point since Kang is supposed to be a thing in the third Ant-Man.

Teddy, unfortunately, I don't think will be here for a bit (I really hope he is though!). I think the guy they hired that everyone is rumoring to be Teddy might just be an episode about Billy coming to terms with his sexuality and Wanda and Vis learning to accept it in the way that era of tv they're in would go about with that kind of episode and the dude is just a dude - but again, I really hope it’s Teddy 😭

Wanda leaves the hex after a mini missile/plane tries to shoot at her - and she’s in her Scarlet Witch costume and is seemingly mostly back to her “normal self”, which includes her accent !

Lagos brand paper towels - “For when you make a mess you didn’t mean to” - a nod to Civil War again in which Wanda accidentally blew up a building in Lagos and caused the Sokovian accords to come to fruition

The mail man again - I also think he was in the commercial but anywho - “Your mom won’t let him go far” similar to “Much like she won’t let anyone leave” a potential nod to Wanda or Agnes not letting anyone leave?

“We can’t reverse death” and yet she brought Vision back - keeping in mind that he’s an android but still a little foreshadow to what happened at the end of the ep? Better yet, could Pietro coming back be a distraction for Wanda? Agnes or whoever introducing someone that Wanda lives in hopes that she won’t go full on breakdown superpowers or just to give her an attachment to Westview even more and make her not want to leave at all

“She recasted Pietro” EVAN ! I’m so pumped for this - it seems this could turn into the X-Men making their debut earlier than expected possibly? In any case, it’s a nice little Easter Egg to the previous Fox franchise of X-Men movies where Evan played Peter Maximoff “Quicksilver” alongside James McAvoy as Prof X, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine and so many others - and with Deadpool being confirmed as Disney’s first R rated film, it seems Mutants are definitely on their way to the MCU

During Monica’s callbacks to seeing Wanda’s pain inside her head, we see a new shot of Wanda crying - it looks like it’s around the time she stole Vision’s corpse, as the outfit she’s wearing is very similar, if not the same - could this be an after shot of when she’s trying to bring Vision back?

During the scene where we see the footage of Wanda stealing Vision’s corpse, the S.W.O.R.D logo that appears on the table has 8 stars around the rim of the logo but then has a 9th one in the middle - could this be a little Easter Egg to the nine realms of the Cosmos? And there’s also a map showing Cape Canaveral, could that be where S.W.O.R.D’s headquarters are?

Wanda and Pietro were born in 1989 to Irina and Oleg Maximoff - who were killed in an air raid when the twins were 10. In the comics, Wanda and Pietro were raised by Django and Maria Maximoff, before their true parentage was revealed as being the children of Magneto, however, in the comics this has been retconned so that Wanda and Pietro are no longer Mutants and the High Evolutionary had just disguised them as Mutants (something I think they should undo tbh - MARVEL, PLEASE MAKE WANDA AND PIETRO MUTANTS AGAIN!!!)

Speaking of the air raid, that was also referenced in Age of Ultron by Pietro and Wanda - “We were 10 years old, having dinner the four of us. And the first shell hits 2 floors below, makes a hole in the floor” - was the beeping Stark toaster be what that was referring to?

WHIH reappears for a brief cameo as the news service in the MCU - and Hayward cuts off Jimmy as he was trying to defend Wanda’s reputation, in which Jimmy then turns to Darcy and says “I try not to speak ill of people” Darcy then follows up with “Then allow me, Hayward’s a-“ and then she’s cut off by a shot back to Hayward saying the word “Terrorist” which would make sense as it seems with Vision’s corpse, he may have been trying to make sentient weapons and by subverting Vision’s will and blaming Wanda of doing the same. In the footage shown of Wanda stealing Vision’s remains, we see Vision broken up into parts and S.W.O.R.D seems to be experimenting on him and this seems to be the robotics/nanotech project that Hayward was referring to. Monica asks Hayward about the footage saying “When was this?” to which Hayward replies saying “9 days ago. Maximoff stormed our facility, stole Vision’s body and resurrected him” - this would mean that Wanda took Vision 2 weeks after the events of Endgame, about a week before Monica returned to S.W.O.R.D and Hayward didn’t tell her any of this and when he sent her in there, he knew exactly what he was doing - with her reputation after Civil War, this makes it easier for Hayward to paint her as the villain.

Back in Westview, Tommy wears red and Billy wears green - which are the colours that Wiccan and Speed wear in the comics, respectively. And it’s also the colours that Wanda and Vision are known for and appears quite a lot in their wardrobes

More in regards to Sparky, he was the synthezoid dog in Tom King’s run of Vision - the story being that he was originally a dog named Zeke who unfortunately passed away after digging up the Grim Reaper’s corpse and getting zapped. The Grim Reaper’s helmet appears during the title sequence of Episode 2 in the floorboards. Could Sparky have been trying to dig up a similar thing when he was caught by Agnes and consequently killed?

Monica mentions that she knows this aerospace engineer, they’re never shown but she is seen texting them. Could it be Reed Richards a.k.a Mr Fantastic? Hayward did mention that some astronauts used to work for S.W.O.R.D before a mission went haywire - though it seems a bit lacklustre to introduce such highly anticipated characters this way. Could it instead be the Skrull daughter of Talos that Monica befriended at the end of Captain Marvel? She mentioned that they had extraterrestrial allies in episode 4 working with her and Fury as apart of S.W.O.R.D - in the Spanish subtitles they use the feminine articles for this engineer - so I think it’s more likely to be Talos’s daughter

The board that we saw in Episode 4 now includes the mailman, drivers license and all - could he be Jimmy’s missing witness?

The tension in the room after Jimmy references Carol is similarly seen when in Spider-Man: Far From Home, where Peter asks Skrull Fury/Talos “How about Captain Marvel?” To which Talos replies “Don’t involve her name”. Fury, Monica and Talos were all on the side of the Skrulls by then end of Captain Marvel and the space station that Fury was on maybe apart of S.W.O.R.D. So did Carol betray them?

A slight reference to Captain America: The First Avenger is made when Monica pulls a Peggy Carter and shoots at something to see if it’s bulletproof, in Peggy’s case it was the iconic Captain America shield and in the case of Monica, it was her clothes that she was wearing after Wanda threw her out of the Hex

Abilash (Norm) never states that Wanda is the one that Vision has to save them from, it’s just “her” - could this instead be Agnes?

When Billy is training Sparky to sit, he puts the treat by his ear up to his temple - a future reference that Billy will one day share the same powers as his mum?

During the scene in which Wanda leaves the Hex briefly, she turns the guns onto Hayward but none are trained on Monica - she may still trust Monica slightly, whereas with Hayward, she slightly more pissed off because of what he was doing to Vision’s remains. And turning a bunch of guns on the people you don’t trust? Like father, like daughter as Magneto pulls a similar move in one of the X-Men films - Hopefully, the big cameo they keep teasing will be Ian McKellan as Magneto or the Magnus of this House of M adaptation

During when Agnes “found” Sparky, she says he died from eating too many leaves from her plants - in the Tom King Vision run, one of Vision’s kids ends up killing Sparky and sees inside his stomach that there’s a plant that Agatha Harkness grows in her garden

All the names that appear during the credits that Wanda tries to run to end the show and to stop Vision from talking are names of people who work on the actual Wandavision show itself

When Evan Peter’s version of Quicksilver shows up, he says “Does a long lost bro get to squeeze his sister to death or what?” I DO NOT TRUST THIS PIETRO - Similar to Wandavision, the Fox X-Men movies moved up decade by decade - First Class was in the 1960s, Days of Future Past was in the 1970s, Apocalypse was in the 1980s and Dark Phoenix was in the 1990’s - which would make even more sense as MCU! Pietro wasn’t born until 1989, whereas Peter was active during the 1980s. I reckon that this Pietro is Jimmy’s missing witness, Agnes’s husband Ralph and is disguising itself as a comforting presence to Wanda as Vision no longer brings comfort and is trying to bring Wanda back to reality - and when he shows up, the mirror in the background behind Wanda is slightly distorted but his hand looks red and in the shot as well, there seems to be a grey arm reaching towards Pietro - in the shot itself behind and in front of Wanda, there’s nothing there but in the mirror, there is! Either way, I do not trust this Pietro and it’s just an entity trying to give Wanda the last thing that could make her happy - but it won’t last, as everything is already breaking down around her.

16: If you could change anything in the show, what would you change?

okay so how i would re-do CANON is completely different from how i would talk abt a reboot so im gonna touch on a couple things in both contexts! the reason for the difference is canon rewrites imply i can go back in time and introduce dp fresh and new, before anyone knows what it is; but for a reboot, id be working with an audience that has a better understanding of the source material, so i dont need to spend as much time explaining, but i also need to keep everything recognizable

Valerie

REWRITE: i would def make it more danny's fault that her dad lost his job, like danny was intentionally being reckless and shattered some security stuff, and he has a whole mini lesson about learning to not just run in guns blazing. i would probably remove the dating stuff with her and danny (and tuckers crush) too, I think them wanting to be good friends is good enough for freshman year

REBOOT: the fandom already knows valerie exists, so i would actually skip the whole shades-of-gray introductory episode and have her be present as the huntress from day 1-- probably even before danny got his powers. cujo is also HER dog, and her backstory-- we'd find out in like, season 1, that a natural ghost portal (maybe one wulf opened) ripped open on her dog and killed him, and since then shes had a vendetta against ghosts cause of how reckless they are and their disregard for life-- of course, cujo isnt actually dead. cujo is a halfa. a puby halfa. anyway instead of a hoverboard she actually rides cujo around cause he can fly and its big and epic. valerie has BEEN amity parks ghost-eradicating superhero for at least a year (tho shes been in the shadows abt it) and her hatred towards danny actually just becomes really petty, like them flying next to each other chasing skulker just going "I got this. no I got this. no I got this" and they just get in each others' way and its a mutual grudge.

BOTH: i am NOT keeping in vlad giving her the suit to watch danny under any circumstances. it was only utilized half assedly in canon (when vlad couldve just had an invisible duplicate watching him instead) anyway, and I dont have any reason to keep it in a reboot either. instead i want her tech to be a combination of half-stolen and half-gerryrigged stuff and she slowly slowly learns how to build her own.

I also dont want anyone knowing her secret identity, except maybe her dad, and sam or tucker. i think it works better if danny isnt privy to this magic info

Freakshow

REWRITE: i would honestly just remove him. the episodes hes in arent particularly interesting, theyre just generic "we need a plot about x" filler and he's not compelling enough a character (at least in writing) to carry a better plot that another antagonist couldnt. i'm serious

REBOOT: unfortunately in a reboot he's gonna have to pop up somewhere or else ppl will be like "where IS HE" so I'm going to stick with running some kind of ghost circus, maybe a few occult things, but cut out a lot of the spooky magical knowledge and mcguffin stuff. maybe i could make him like, someone from vlad/jack/maddies college who always felt pushed around by them and so he has a vendetta? and theyd be the only reason he even learned abt ghosts in the first place. idk in either way I want to force him into being irredeemable but also include LYDIA (the tattoo girl ghost) way more-- I want to give her an arc that ends in her tossing freakshow aside and running off to be a ghost vigilante.

BOTH: dear god the infinity gauntlet is stupid that needs to GO AWAY. especially for the reboot cause it would exist in a post-mcu world and way too many people would complain about it

Vlad

REWRITE: amp him up to a far more sinister and villainous character. the crushing on maddie isnt enough, I want to show him on-screen performing experiments on ghosts and himself, dismissing everyone else cause he thinks hes smarter than them. i want him to be actively sabotaging the fentons at every turn. i would also clarify that he doesnt actually want danny as a son, but as a trophy-- a line where danny says something along the lines of "you don't want a son. you want a slave". i want to make him a character who wants to destroy the entire planet and put it in the ghost zone so he can be the true ghost king and i want to make this all evident from day one. if i'm writing a series villain you can bet i'm going to write a GOOD one. less petty drama here and more actual stakes.

REBOOT: it seems silly but sense with reboot we have the benefit of hindsight and recognizing that vlad wasn't a big series villain, theres no way i'd actually go back and write him to be such. for starters, of course, theres the fact that anything he does would really be an exaggerated part of the original, and it would bore an audience to see the same story again-- theres also the fact that it doesnt seem right to take a character who was treated as a joke half the time and suddenly make them big and important. no, instead for my reboot i want to lean into the petty gay uncle vibe. he had a crush on jack and now just casually insults him. he moves mansions every now and again by just haunting the family who lives in the one he wants, and taking over-- i mean, who is gonna believe that an actual ghost haunted you. he dislikes danny not because he has some concept of 'evil' and 'good' but bc danny is just too damn active. of course he actually does care about danny and his safety deep down, it's just on the surface they have very conflicting motivations-- not to mention that danny has been raised on legends from his parents of the villainous Wisconsin Ghost, who has to be stopped at all costs.

BOTH: i want jack and maddie to KNOW he's a half ghost and to actively be hunting him down for it, maybe bc they think hes possessed, or been a ghost tricking them this whole time, or the victim of a tragic lab accident who needs to be put to rest, etc. whatever the case it will give vlad actual tangible reason to despise them and genuinely suspect they dont have dannys best interests at heart. i think it would be neat if vlad was cynical and every time danny hit him with the "I'll expose us both. at least theyll still love ME" vlad could be like in the back of his head "oh god theyre going to kill this child"

REWRITE: cut her out. we don't need her character at all. maybe replace her with a more ominous shadow duplicate / clone that actually looks like danny himself and doesnt really have a name? you could probably combine her and dark dans characters for their arcs

REBOOT: instead of a clone from vlad, she's a guys in white creation using some of dannys dna after he was captured (and vlad broke him out bc he was like "ugh i guess i have to save this child")

BOTH: vlad actually cares abt her (duh), shes nonbinary (double duh), she gets the funny dissolve into goo powers

you know that thing that goes "everything is sex except sex which is power"? miss fujiko understood that perfectly and she knows love is control and she needs control over her own life. and i think her 'femme fatale' characterization and her 'business woman' characterization get to that same thing, it's just that one has her get control through her Female Qualities and the other has her get it through Money. she girlbosses gaslights gatekeeps because shes not going to be made to feel small/powerless (again?) and well, who doesnt want things to go their way. who doesnt want to be in charge. who doesnt like to make the law bend under their boot. who doesnt like to feel powerful, important, feared.

and i think ok so i dont have an opinion on her backstory cause i think it fits her a lot to not have any of her past really Defined cause, who IS fujiko mine? where does the liar and manipulator end and where does the person begin? is it even worth it to make a distinction? and its made obvious in the 3rd episode of her mini series cause here she is under a fake name and a wig looking after kids (fujiko doesnt like kids) being a Nice Woman Lady and she befriends goemon that way and then she reveals shes actually Fujiko Mine, evil liar deceitful manipulator etc and its like well . . . . fujiko no offense but arent both of those personas? didnt you show some of your true colors while wearing the wig and arent you lying with your hair down? arent you both the mask and the wearer? isnt there a middleground, a compromise between the two identities? arent you just buying into the misogyny thats been projected onto you? neither madonna nor whore etc etc etc

AND... ok i have 2 more things i wanna bring up the first one is really quick so she hums and sings kinda often all things considered right? in part 1 ep 2 shes introduced singing in the shower (sorry about that scene btw) and in part 2 she befriends nessie (!!) because shes singing and the cryptid likes it, theres more exemple of this kinda thing. so my little head canon is that her dream job/fantasy job/whatever is to be a musical actress? like shes happy being a thief/spy/etc and if she wasnt one she prolly would do something else but she leans against her bike sometime and thinks well thatd be neat wouldnt it..... Performing... doing her little songs... in pretty costumes... on a stage......

i was gonna bring up her backstory episode frm part 1 but i already told you about it like 3 times so ... im still kinda mad about how part 5 wrote her cause like yeas good explore her relationship w lupin pogger but also dont make it look like SHES the one left wondering about the others feelings. its like. eveyrone knows lupin loves her he tells her every morning and zenigata knows it and everyone knows it SHES the one sending mixed signals (queen behavior) with a complicated relationship with sexuality (due to using it as a weapon/tool like dont even get me started on how her refusing to kiss lupin CAN be read as her refusing to TRICK him because she uses her sexuality to TRICK people and its become so hard to dissociate the two) wtf was i saying. OH YE AND SO HER asking HIM what his feelings for her are is out of character and nonsensical he shouldve been the one to be like "hey fujicakes so u saved my life this is poggers and all but i havent seen you in 9months, last time you said you needed space from me and now ure just flirting like nothing happened? what the fuck?" and her arc being you know. . . . having to be honest with people for once in her life wouldve been way more interesting than putting her in a literal cage in a wedding dress sitting on her ass :)

BUT i dont wanna make it look like her whole character is tied to lupie they couldve gone w something entirely different too. what if they made her pass the bechdel test for once PLEASE give her homoerotic interactions with the (adult) npc girl this time please please please youre NOTHING

IN CONCLUSION: I'm not sure what I'm looking for anymore / I just know that I'm harder to console / I don't see who I'm trying to be instead of me / But the key is a question of control (depeche mode a pain that im used to)

ML AU: In Another Life: Ladybug

Original post

-Flashbacks to Befana are the same. But then there are a few additional frames of Lila seeing Marinette and adrien act more couple like and it really grinds her gears.

-Like in the original episode. Lila is talking with Gabriel, acting as his spy.

-Lila uses this chance to try and bad mouth Marinette like in canon but insists she is not a good match for adrien, but Gabriel dismisses it.

-Lila decides to put her plan into action just like in canon. Her motive though was to give a reason for Gabriel to make his son end his relationship with Marinette.

-Gabriel tells her the ‘Deal’ is in place for now. But if he can revoke it if she doesnt live up to his expectations.

-The events that led up to Marinette’s bag getting examined are the same. And Miss bustier points out that she didnt miss a question.

-Alya calls out first that it wasnt her.

-Adrien also stands up saying that he studied for the mock examine with Marinette. (He is faster to defend his gf)

-Adrien also had a perfect score on the examine, because Marinette helped him with studying.

-Lila makes her comments and Marinette claims Lila set her up.

-The events that lead to Lila faking her fall down the steps are the same, including getting to the locker.

- The main difference here is that Adrien speaks up.

-”Hold on! I know marinette wouldnt do any of this! Lila, when did you last have your necklace?”

-Lila was not expecting the bold accusation, She makes a quick lie that she had it the other day.

-Adrien smiles.

-”Then there is no way Marinette could have taken the necklace! Marinette was with me at a photoshoot helping me study between breaks. She wouldnt have had the time to take the necklace.”

-Mr.Damocles was about to speak up saying there is still a lot to against Marinette, and the class chimes up to agree that Marinette wouldnt steal it or cheat.

-Chloé even points out that Marinette is too goody goody for shoving people.

-Alix commenting that “Its true, and if she would shove anyone, it would have been Chloé”

-Miss bustier actually does the teacher thing and comments that Marinette is her class rep and this is out of the ordinary for her.

-Lila failed to take into account how well liked Marinette is, and didnt anticipate Adrien would be so adamant about defending her.

-Mr.Damocles decides that this needs further investigation. He says that Marinette should go home for the day while he and the teachers discuss the situation. He apologizes to the Dupain family and will call them when they have worked through everything.

-Its not ideal, but no one is super angry, not enough for hawkmoth to try and pull off Scarlet moth 2.0. Which really disappoints him. Nathalie wasnt akumatized, but still faints from exhaustion.

- Causing Hawkmoth to focus on Nathalie and take her out of the lair.

-Marinette is at home, fuming over this whole thing. She knows Lila set her up. Alya is on the case to investigate it. Though she isnt blaming Lila directly yet, because she wants to find the facts, but she knows Marinette is innocent.

-Mayura still creates Sentibug like in canon.

-Adrien texted Marinette to make sure she was okay, and he tells her he is not letting Lila get away with this.

- He gets an alert just before he confronts lila like in canon about Ladybug fighting Mayura.

-He leaves and finds ‘Ladybug’ hurt.

-Ladybug says the words like she does in canon.

-”But... youre in love with someone else.” Chat noir knew this because its HIM.

-Mayura has sentibug spout a lie but Chat noir backs away. He doesnt buy it like he did in canon.

-Ladybug sees Chat noir backing away. Relieved her partner wasnt tricked

-”Glad to see that you can tell the difference between me and a copy.”

-”It wasnt easy, she didnt seem at all like the sentimonsters we faced before. She’s different.”

- The fight goes about the same as in canon, with the same lucky charm joke.

-They free sentibug. and tragedy occurs just like before.

-The events occur pretty much the same but the dialogue is a bit different.  when she says that “Ladybug doesnt sound the same without chat noir” He comments that they are a great pair.

-”Easy there kitty, you know i am in love with someone else.”

-”I know, and he’s a lucky guy.”

-Lila was getting ready to go do the modelling deal, but Gabriel called her. Telling her, he was disappointed with her plan. He says that she can forget about modelling today. She needs to prove her worth.

-Lila is pissed, and she decides that she was going to add some grease to the wheels and get Marinette expelled. At least then she could get something out of the ordeal.

-A car shows up, Its Adrien. He tells her to get in.

-”You didnt listen to my warning. You went after someone I loved.”

-Lila attempts to insist that she didn’t do anything, but Adrien tells Lila that she’s going to tell another lie to prove Marinette’s innocence. That she would completely clear her of any wrongdoing

-Lila comments why she would do that.

-”Because you know that if it does go the other way, everyone will know who is responsible for Marinette getting kicked out of the school.”

- And Adrien then brings it all home “Because we are friends, arent we?”

-Lila felt a chill go down her spine. Adrien made it clear that he would do everything in his power to bring her down.

-Lila then lies her way to clear marinette of all wrong doing, and the investigation on Marinette is over. She isnt expelled and no permanent record damage.

-Marinette asks Lila why she fixed everything. Lila doesnt have a smug response, she just leaves without a word, swearing to herself that this wasnt over. Not by a long shot.

-Marinette goes to see Adrien who is happy to see her.

-”So I am guessing this was your doing.”

-Adrien smiles, he claims he has no idea what she is talking about.

-She kisses his cheek, and the episode ends.
